Jack Tunney will do that. I think he is one of the better authority figures in wrestling. Always seemed like a big deal when he showed up to issue a ruling.

You know that might make for a great angle. Samoans forced to be civilized, wear boots, go on long losing streak, take boots off and turn face on manager by beating him with said boots. Thanks Goc!

Trade deals
Edit: ICW is not part of the NWA but has no issue with the Andersons being in the tournament.

Yeah, I had the Devil's Duo on my list too, just not high enough. I asked KrisZ if I could take them as a duo (HAH) too but they weren't together at this point. As for scouting, just a lot of reading for me. All the info I could find on ICW through Wikipedia, Kayfabe Memories, Online World of Wrestlng, a few wrestling magazines and dirtsheets I could find online too.

I kid because I had him way way down on my list, but he was still there. I kept debating with myself if I could draft him or not. Guy is a grade A real life scumbag. If I had gotten him the Andersons would have been Hung, Drawn, and Quartering him the first chance I got.

No, Buck. Say it with me. BUCK. The original Rock N Roller! He will be arrested soon. I'd make a Jerry Lawler tag team joke but it would be in bad taste.

Guys Eligible In August 1983
I've never gotten to do one. The one we tried to plan in a fantasy football league I'm in fell through so we just went with the regular snake draft.

Guys Eligible In August 1983
lol ok no to auction draft. I'm just throwing out ideas here.

Guys Eligible In August 1983
Auction draft? Everyone gets a free agent budget, we put a guy up for bid, high bid wins, in the case of ties they have to share the guy. We could put one guy up for x amount of hours to give everyone a chance to bid, even in advance of the month so all the August guys could be bid on in July, September in August, etc.

Guys Eligible In August 1983
I don't have a problem that. Keeping the random generation for the picks?

Guys Eligible In August 1983
Johnny Valiant and Thunderbolt Patterson are the guys I'm most interested in.

Guys Eligible In August 1983
I thought we were going to do drafts every six months with new people and the unprotected parts of our roster. Are we going monthly now? Not saying I'm for or against, just curious.

Be prepared for lots of Elvis Presley playing in the locker room. He was on my list and so was weingroff. Good picks at this stage I think.
