Death & Retirement
Do all retired players go into a pool or do we retain any rights to the people we drafted that retire?
-
Death & Retirement
Is that per promotion, or overall for injuries? Also, what if someone has a 'home' territory or has friends or relatives there, it should be easier for them to get that person to come out of retirement. Like Parv would have an easier time getting Bruno out of retirement than some random promotion, or Dory Funk could convince Terry to come out of retirement easier than someone else might

Death & Retirement
I know it has random death, I remember Masked Superstar getting a javelin in Parv's game. Edit: Sorry, posted that before I saw your post Beast

Death & Retirement
How does TEW handle real life events like death and injuries in death of the territories?
-
Death & Retirement
I think it was suggested at one time that if we went with injuries and death being random, that a person who had a career ending injury or died in real life would have a greater chance of it happening to them after the real life date.

Draft discussion, analysis and trash talk
It is hard to ignore the future. None of my guys are top stars in 1983, but for what I want to do and what interests me, and what I know those guys are capable of, they are good picks to me. Probably should have waited on Cornette, I think the Midnights going right before made me jump the gun, even though he wasn't affiliated with them yet. I'm going to make shows that I want to see, and that I think people in the territory in 1983 would have liked to see.

RIP Dusty Rhodes
Man, I just saw this. Had been on here all day looking at the draft stuff and didn't even notice. Dusty was awesome and will be missed.

Jake Roberts was on my list too.

1983 Rulebook
I know ICW was an outlaw promotion anyway, I'm planning on running shows in Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, and West Virginia.

Tito and Dutch were on my list. I'm looking forward to seeing the final rosters when we are done

1983 Rulebook
ICW is independant for now, but is open to recruiting.

Draft discussion, analysis and trash talk
I know at this point Cornette hadn't done much, but for the area, his character to me opened up a lot of storyline possibilities. He fit better to me as a manager in the area than anyone else I could get, even though there were better and more established managers available. He can fill in on commentary too. And never underestimate the importance of having nice looking programs.

With their 2nd round pick, ICW announces Jim Cornette will be joining International Championship Wrestling! Cornette gives Angelo Poffo a big hug, Poffo shoves him off. Cornette repeatedly says thank you while being dragged off the stage.

I actually had him pegged as the top guy I could get. History with the promotion, probably the most over worker there along with Savage, and I guy I always liked.

ICW is proud to announce the return of Ronnie Garvin to International Championship Wrestling!

Draft discussion, analysis and trash talk
I had guys on my list that I would have taken if they were there, but that I didn't feel I had a realistic shot at. The tag teams I'm most bummed about, but nobody I thought I could get is gone yet.

Yeah, just wait until people in masks start being drafted.

Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
I'm ok with using either calendar but it should probably be standardized to help keep the dates straight.
-
Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
I guess the order doesn't really matter, we could use the first round draft order or randomize it again, as long as everyone gets a turn.

Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
Cross Face Chicken Wing called it the PWO Armchair Booking fantasy draft project when he made his pick. That's a mouthful. Shortening it to PWO Fantasy Draft is ok with me.

1983 Beginning Rosters
Maybe I'm biased because it's what I grew up on, but I think JCP has a great trio of announcers.
