Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
Does control of the freelancers mean you would have them available for your promotion unless someone else wanted them, or just that you would just be in control of the bookings? That said, someone could book everyone they wanted in their promotion for that month, of course like you said that could come back to bite them.

Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
I'm not sure if anyone would want to use their save pick on a part timer, but it's up to them I guess. The only one I think might qualify would be Andre and the WWF. I think everyone has already picked their save except Stampede. Was a draft order ever decided? Random every round was a bit much, I think. I would be ok with all the other suggestions.

Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
So...put them up for redraft between Japan tours? Or have a separate draft just for freelancers?

Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
I guess the two solutions for the freelancers are to let the person that drafts them handle the bookings, or put them up for redraft after a set period of time. If it is the person that drafts them, there probably should be a set time period there too that the person can keep them in between bookings.

1983 Managers
Was izzy slapowitz still in icw at this point or had he moved on?

Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
Yeah after we determine the first round I say snake after that. Either random or promotion size/reach/influence/prestige/signup or whatever for the first round order

Anybody familiar with the Doomsday: 1983 alternative history scenario? I don't know if that would qualify as shameless promotional tactic or just the only scenario that ICW would win. Lol

Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
Lol reading up on ICW they did that kind of thing a lot. I'm not much of an instigator, but they had some interesting dealings with rival promotions.

1983 Tentative Rosters
Ok. I saw him as wrestling there in the early 80's then in wwf in 84. Guess he took a break

Barry Orton (Bob Orton, Jr. brother) wrestled in ICW

The last rules that were posted said owner announcers and referees. I don't see managers listed on the promotion talent list but it was mentioned they would be drafted too.

Grey Dog Software forums have a 1983 mod called War To Settle The Score, but I'm not sure if that would be a good one to use for cross checking.

Parv after you lost your game on TEW I'd feel bad if you didn't get the WWF. I was reading that and enjoying it quite a bit.

I'll switch if it's decided they are too far gone, but I like a challenge. They did make it until sometime in 1984.

Draft & ongoing booking project interest?
Mainly wanted ICW because it was smaller and close to where I live so I'm familiar with the area. I travel a lot for work and I'm passing through those small Kentucky and Tennessee towns all the time. JCP would have been great too but I know there was more of a demand for them and probably more than I want to take on being new. I like all the setup so far, I would rather not go by real life deaths and injuries because this is a new continuity we are creating, and I think it adds more to it for them to be random than to know they are coming. I'm ok with having a higher probability after the fact though. Really looking forward to this.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
Yeah, the name TNA has hurt them a lot I think. Too bad at some point they didn't rebrand. I've watched TNA off and on since they were doing the weekly PPV's (first show I bought was Killings winning the world title) and there has been good, bad, and ugly. The biggest problem I think is a lack of consistency and identity. They have never chosen a direction and stuck with it for very long. It's always felt like 'let's throw everything against the wall and see what sticks', but then they are unhappy with what sticks and start over.

1983 Booking Multi-Person Sign Up Thread
I'd like to give this a shot. I'd prefer a smaller promotion too, especially since I'm coming in late.

Squared Circle Gazette Radio #40 - The Monday Night War in 1996 (Oct-Dec)
Really enjoying this, you guys are doing a great job. I was out of watching wrestling during the beginning of the Monday Night Wars, it's nice to hear everything that was going on at the time, definitely helps put things in perspective. Looking forward to more.

John Cena - Turn Of The Century
Yeah, basically he could just be the same Cena he is now, just no pandering to the women and kids. Align with the Authority and start sucking up to them. Retiring Taker is a good idea too. Or my go to idea for a radioactive heel turn: fake his death.
