Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
Peeved at the six votes for Reigns. Baffled by B-Boy and Gulak's placements.

Who Will You Be the High Vote On?
As predicted, I'm higher on the DG guys. Horiguchi and Ryo Saito are my two high votes so far. Someone had Milano higher than me and rightfully so. Kicking myself for putting him at 96.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
Grimmas, #476 is Yuji Okabayashi. You're missing a few letters in that last name. I tried to cut as much extra Dragon System viewing out of my system for the past six months since that's my area of expertise. Since then I've been watching a lot of 2004 Dragon Gate, right after the Toryumon split, and I'm convinced that me voting Milano at #96 was way too low. I could easily move him up 5-10 spots. He comes across as a total star and every bit as good as CIMA and Mochizuki in that time period. I guess I forgot about that because most of my Milano love comes from T2P.

I don't see my name on here? Oh man, am I blind or did I fuck something up? I know I didn't want to be anonymous

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
I was the only vote for Genki. He deserved my #100 spot. Glad he's represented in some fashion.

Nominees Not Receiving Votes
Gedo is a much better singles worker than Jado. The Devitt match from 2013 is one of the best junior matches of this decade and one of the better matches of the current NJPW era. I don't know who voted for him or if his 90s grimy stuff with WAR and whatnot helped his case, but a lot of people are really high on old-man Gedo and his recent run.

Nominees Not Receiving Votes
Yoshihito Sasaki is one of my guys and I really wanted to find room for him. He ended up being one of my last cuts. Heartbroken no one voted for Arai. I wouldn't have, he wouldn't even finish in my 150, but I know there were people that showed interest in voting for him.

Heavy Hitters that missed your list
Is Takada considered a heavy hitter? He's someone that I easily passed on. Didn't give him much thought at all.

Who Will You Be the High Vote On?
Fuchi finished #67 for me. Not sure if that's the high vote or not.

Heavy Hitters that missed your list
A number of 80s guys that didn't have strong runs in Japan. Didn't watch as much territory stuff as I would've liked but whatever. The only lucha guy I ranked was Casas, so anyone ranked purely off of Mexico work besides him didn't rank for me. No Lawler, no Inoki, no Onita, no Andre.

Best Greatest Hits Album?
Jimmy Jacobs has to be in the conversation. Super peak with his feuds with Cabana, Whitmer, and Aries, but man when he's bad, he's unwatchable.

Who is in Your Top 100 Right Now?
Vader was going to be my pick. Crushed that he and Rey aren't on every ballot.

JvK's Six-Factor Model for GWE rankings [BIGLAV]
It's almost entirely the latter. As you know, I always did and still see the project as being much much more about the former, hence BIGLAV and ranking people I don't love. If it was just a purely subjective list motivated only by my personal feelings, that 100 would be my list. Eagle-eyed readers among you might be able to spot Kurt Angle at #80, which should be of interest to Case and others who I argued with about that before. I still like Angle deep down, but I can separate the heart and the head. I don't really care where you rank Angle, I just have an issue with you scoffing at the idea of Angle being a Top 20 contender.

Post here when you turn in your ballot!
Tanner has Generico in his Top 10 and he never made a post about it. I mean, he was my #23, but there are going to be some guys that place ridiculously high on some people's ballot and their thread might have minimal discussion. I don't know how the votes are being totaled, but I doubt me voting Masaaki Mochizuki at #10 guarantees him a spot in the final 100. I'm an outlier in that sense.

Best Wrestlers Who Didn't Get Nominated
I was actually coming to this thread to say the same thing. I don't even like HARASHIMA but he should've been nominated.

Post here when you turn in your ballot!
Never made that Generico post. Scum.

Finally, I'm done with this project. Yikes.

Kurt Angle
Can you explain what that psychology is? Angle is a jock, an asshole, and at his best, he plays that up. His heat portions are excellent. He stands over his opponents, he bullies them, he suplexes them into oblivion because he's a legitimate athlete. He gets caught doing the same routine, whether that be by Rey, Edge, HBK, or whoever, and begins to pay the price for it. That's what leads into his finishing stretches. The counters, the quickness, the excitement. It all builds.

Kurt Angle
Psychology is subjective and context matters in every situation, so that's a pretty lofty claim that I don't find to be true whatsoever.

Kurt Angle
I would point to the first two Joe matches and their Lockdown 2008 match. Not the point, but I always loved the way he bumped for Rey, also. And the 2001 Summerslam match with Austin. That's actually the best example of him being a great seller.
