My experience was the opposite. I had only ever seen a handful of Brody matches before this project and I remembered him being inoffensive but then I kept hearing all the pwo-ptbn hosts talk about him like he was the worst. I decided to spend some time on him to see if I agreed with those guys and I ended up watching something like 30-40 of his matches. I liked him quite a bit and ranked him in my bottom 25.

I speculated before that Quackenbush probably submitted an anonymous ballot and voted himself #1. Instead he thought he would be sneaky and vote himself #6 and no one would notice. But I noticed Mike...I noticed.

Chad and I both had Harley ranked. I was #48, pretty sure Chad was something like #54. Pete had him ranked too. Not sure on timothy, I thought I heard that he did. So only Steven and Tim that didn't rank him. So far Pete and Timothy have not mentioned him. I imagine Pete will get to him judging by his list so far.

I've been listening to all of the GWE list podcasts and find it disturbing that so many people are leaving Harley off of their lists. That is despite the fact that, when justifying the guys that are on their list and naming off all of their great matches, the podcasters will often cite matches those guys had against Harley as being great. I understand that he is not a sexy pick but I think the hate has gone too far.

I will be the high vote for Harley and possibly Liger, Robinson, Slaughter and KENTA. I might be the high vote on Brody by virtue of being the only one who voted for him at all.

I watched a bunch of Johnny Smith matches earlier and thought he was pretty good so I came here to see what people were saying in his thread and realized he wasn't nominated.

Sarcasm is fun. I do understand that the journey is more the point of this project than the end result. I probably won't end up submitting a list now, especially since some people seem to be dismissing lists submitted by non-pwo regulars before they see them. But the process has been valuable to me already since I discovered that I absolutely love World of Sport.

I don't really get Parv's argument that Inoki is self-evidently better than Bossman. Why bother watching footage for this project if it is just going to come down to who has a more impressive bio?

What exactly would a "weird ballot" look like? Genuinely curious.

I think Vince is booking Roman this way because it's basically the same way Daniel Bryan was booked. He's just taking that formula and applying it to Roman without realizing that the booking had very little to do with Bryan's popularity.
