Rhyno re-introduction, but no AA on the first episode. How can you not have American Alpha debut on your first show?

Either Orton re-hurt his arm, or that was the weirdest match I've seen in a while.

You know how some people thought Smackdown "lost" the draft and others said let's wait and see. Only 1 week in so far, but man. Smackdown got killed in the draft.

Yeah, my main note from this show outside of "

Opening 4 way was really good, and the "right" guy one, even if it's the guy I'm least interested in going forward.

As a sheet no less. And it's clearly the right call. Now there is actual drama on Raw about how they handle the title situation. And it makes Steph look bad, because at the end of the day, she bet against Ambrose, and she lost.

This crowd seems dead, then I remember mute, so that affects it.

He made sure he had the paper work for this stuff.

When did Roman stop coming from the crowd? Also, that crowd mute.

I expect at least one Daniel Bryan chant during a stretch Reigns is in control, if they can stop just booing.

... Am I the only one who thought this promo actually was pretty good for one that went long?

I love how much of Enzo and Cass's tag offense is just Cass throwing Enzo at people.

WWE Battleground
Enzo and Cass just talked for about 5 minutes, and I loved every second of it.

Wow. Glad you enjoyed it but just didn't connect here at all. Logic was sound but I didn't find Nattie's work on the leg compelling and Lynch even stopped selling it for a while until the finish. Card placement didn't help but this was a real disappointment. What did I miss?? I thought Becky sold well throughout. I loved Natties finish kicking the leg through refs leg then Sharpshooter. Maybe rewatch sometime. I got it at ****. Besides Becky/Charlotte at Rumble and the MANIA triple threat which I also have ****. What's been better on main roster? The opener.

I mean, they kept Darren Young strong, but the finish didn't make much sense. I kinda like the idea of Young as "a pretty good wrestler with an absolutely deadly submission move", which is how I'd run this.

Yep. Natalya just isn't over, and none of the other heels are people in her league. Natalya hasn't even been bad here, but nobody cares. Also, card placement.

I disagree. That worked fantastically for me. Finish felt right.

Good Christ, Owens trying to join Sami and Big E as potential hospital attendees today.
-
WWE Battleground
You can just hope Sami's Shoulder isn't destroyed after that.

WWE Battleground
That was probably their best put together hype vid in a long while for Sami/Owens.

Rusev/Ryder was much better then I had any expectation it would be. That was a good time.

WWE Battleground
Welp, Big E just went to Concussionville.

Opener was incredibly fun, and Bayley performed like a champ for "first night on the main show". Also, shout out to Dana Brooke who is gonna get majorly over shadowed but put forth a really strong showing.
