WWE TV 06/04 - 06/10 The Big Dog Returns To His Yard
I liked the Sami Zayn promo where he wanders through the crowd. I thought that was kind of interesting. The end of it seems kind of strange, and it was weird that Lashley didn't really seem to have a lot to say other than just standing there. Zayn suggesting he is lying about being in the military seemed a little different. It was interesting that it brought out a USA chant, only to have them cut off the chant with piping entrance music in the arena, when you think the better option would have been to build on that. But of course since Lashley is just following his script, he presumably can't break off of that to react to the crowd. A USA angle for Bobby Lashley may help him though. Going immediately from that to Jinder and Reigns was weird, and I don't think the fans are going to chant USA for Reigns. I did like how Reigns didn't just stand there for Jinder's promo, that he searched through the backstage looking for him. Although since we already know Jinder was watching Reigns on a monitor since he responded to him, it didn't make too much sense that he just wanted for him there, so now in this segment the heel looks like the dumb one. Also, I think they should have had a longer backstage brawl. I thought it ended too quickly.

I was hoping they were gonna treat Ronda differently from the other women, make her into a bit of a special attraction, but this storyline is really making her look bad.

WWE TV 05/28 - 06/03 Brazilian Meltdown edition
I was really disappointed that they added Cass to the Daniel Bryan/Samoa Joe match. That being said, I am really enjoying how Daniel Bryan does these short weekly TV matches. His offense is genuinely exciting.

The Jim Cornette Experience
I have to say that I pick and chose from the main show, but I really love the Drive Through show and listen to all of those.

World Cast: A WCCW Review
Awesome! I can't wait to listen to this. I also can't wait until you guys get to the Michael Hayes heel turn, but Gordy showing up should be pretty exciting too,

WWE TV 05/28 - 06/03 Brazilian Meltdown edition
I agree with this. I think it is great that she has different gear she wears in ring than what she walks around backstage and does interviews in. I wish more guys were allowed to do this.

Wrestling moves/holds I'd like to see mount a comeback
Braun Stroman's finisher is a Running Powerslam. Or do you just mean a regular one without the running before hand? To be honest he doesn't so much run as walk a few steps before powerslamming the guy. I miss the piledriver but I am assuming its done more outside of WWE. I also liked that press move that Ultimate Warrior used to do where he would lift the guy over his head and then drop him behind him.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
I put my wife in a chinlock or an abdominal stretch in front of the TV when wrestling is on to make sure she watches it. Let me just say she did NOT appreciate the epic length of Wrestlemania this year.

WWE TV $$$ Edition (0$/21 - 0$/27)
That makes me feel a little sick inside. I like having some shorter pay per views. I can't imagine sitting in front of the TV watching a 4 plus hour show every month. I may end up just watching the second half of the pay per views live, and then if I hear about good matches on the undercard later on I can just pick and choose those matches on the network.

It would be really interesting if Rock started comparing every wrestler to Volk Han.

Please don't tell me Sheik Al-Kaissie left us!? No no, its just a joke. At the end of the episode Parv kept talking about Adnan for some reason and Kelly cut him out and closed the show, so I was trying to be a smartass.

WWE Network... It's Here
Im guessing it takes them more time to put the dots in and they figured it was better the get the most stuff up as quickly as possible then to spend time going through each episode to add those chapters and the associated tags that must go with them. They must assume most people watch full shows now rather than skipping to the matches they want to see.

General Chat topic
Me too. I'm such a stress eater, and I work at a call center so I am stressed a lot. Over 300 lbs. Not sure the exact weight because my bathroom scale doesn't go up that high and my Wii Fit tells me I am too heavy to use it. I don't like sports. I am also not really into much TV or music. For TV my favorites in the past have been Lost, Star Trek TNG & DS9, Downton Abbey (nobody here has some Abbey love?), and for the rest you could insert a bunch of Anime. I really enjoyed Fawlty Towers and Whose Line is it Anyway. Currently the only shows I really like are Star Trek Discovery, and recently started watching Comedians in Cars getting Coffee, which is a really enjoyable interview show. Music I really haven't bought much in years and when I did it wasn't a lot, but I used to really like Less Than Jake, Dashboard Confessional, and Five Iron Frenzy. Anybody want to talk about Novels and authors? I really like: George RR Martin's Game of Thrones (not a fan of the show) Robert Jordan Wheel of Time Tad Williams Otherland Anything by Bernard Cornwell (author of the Last Kingdom) Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan novels Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels are amazing. James Patterson's Alex Cross novels are not on the same level exactly but are fun quick page turners. For Stephen King, I felt the first 3 Dark Tower novels were transcendent, but thought the rest of them seemed like junk that was thrown together and none of his other work sounds that appealing to me except possibly for the Stand. Michael Crichton's later stuff, like after Jurassic Park I find a lot more interesting than his earlier books.

Love this episode! Great stuff. Thanks for putting this together. Now I'm expecting Parv to talk you guys into doing a followup episode about Adnan Al-Kaissie.

WWE TV 05/07 - 05/13
Yeah, Bryan is all like grabbing peoples body parts and trying to put them in different holds. Its a little different from what WWE is doing right now so I enjoy it. I liked the 205 match between Mustafa Ali and Buddy as well. There was a part where buddy gave Ali like 3 powerbombs in a row. After that, he was going to go for another powerbomb, and Ali kind of reversed it into something that was pile driver-like, where he drove Buddy's head into the mat. Anybody able to tell me what that move is called? Anyway, Mustafa Ali is another guy I really like watching right now. It's too bad he is stuck in what is basically treated like the jobber division competing for the pre-show belt.

WWE Backlash 2018
This show was too long and too boring. I am surprised Miz Rollins was the best match, as at the time I was watching it I didn't think it was that good, other then Miz's little heel things he does. I liked Miz's promo on the post show as well. Reigns Joe was really disappointing because of how boring it was. I no longer think Reigns is that great on his own, he really depends on the opponent I feel, since both Joe and Lesnar matches the last few weeks were not that good. Of course, Cass seemed awful and really brought down Daniel Bryan. Watching NXT, I feel scared for Gargano, Ciampa, Strong, etc being called up to the main roster as I imagine they will be misused. Face Braun Stroman and goofy JTTS Rusev is really going to kill off their popularity soon too, and there is not much left to be excited about.

All Star Wrestling on the Network
I finally got around to watching those 2 episodes of All Star while listening to Kelly and Landry's podcast commentary. I have to say this show does seem more enjoyable then I would have expected based on the 70's WWF MSG shows or Spectrum or whatever footage I have already seen. It is crazy seeing a young Roddy Piper as a babyface in WWF. I keep thinking that face Piper would do really good against Monster Heels, but I never really see him put in those situations. His fired up babyface routine just seems like it would fit so well against a seemingly invincible opponent, like he could probably do a really good "refusing to quit no matter the odds" kind of story line. I do agree that it seems so strange that 40 year old wrestlers in the 70s look so old and broken down, and today half the top guys in WWE are like close to 40 and still look buff.

The XFL is returning?
Maybe the new XFL will play all their games in Saudi Arabia?

WCW Saturday Night on the Network
In Canada he would be called Zed Man.

Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
I don't think I can handle staring at Bruce and Conrad for a whole episode. I kind of think if they can't pay to have a "talk show" style set and professional cameras like the other WWE Network versions of podcasts, they should forgo the interview style for these and instead maybe do running commentaries over footage of actual matches

Mystery Titans Theatre
I didn't see a topic for it, but if anybody is interested, the podcast Inside The Smoke Filled Arena which is hosted by Kelly and Landy is basically a follow up to this. It is audio only so you have to time it up with the Network. It is basically Mystery Titans for All Star Wrestling. I happened to see it show up in the PWO podcasts. I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet since there is way too much on the Network I want to watch right now, but I love the Titans and appreciate the work they have been putting out in all the projects they are still involved in.

Mount Olympus, Winter 2018: A Brief History of Pop Music and Pro Wrestling in the 1980s
This was really great man. I feel bad that it is so long between episodes but I understand there is a lot more work put into this then Worldcast.

WWE Network... It's Here
I am so happy with all the archive stuff on the Network in the vault section now. It's funny because I originally ordered the Network specifically for the cheaper PPV's. However, Fastlane is on tonight and I am seriously questioning "do I actually want to watch Fastlane? or do I want to spend that time watching more 80's wrestling on the network?" LOL

Current Joshi Talk
Wait a minute. I don't watch Joshi, so forgive me for being a little confused, but is the Asuka in Pro Wrestling Wave a different person from the WWE Asuka? I'm assuming WWE isn't letting her go over to participate in a Japanese tournament, but I guess I'm also not really sure why they would name WWE Asuka after another Joshi wrestler instead of just letting her keep her Joshi name...
