  1. Awesome night of action as wrestlers battle for the Pacific Title! Interference was the theme until Commissioner Savage lays the law down in the finals. Feuds are out of control between Piper and friends versus the families. Love the finals between Garvin and Rose. Rose takes it in the end. That Rose is one crafty dude. I have a feeling it's going to be hard taking that title off Rose. The other big news was the return of Matt Borne! I'm loving that wild feud going on. Nice bout between the light heavyweight contenders as Starr and Yamada battle to a draw. RnR finally get that satisfying win over the Zambuie Express. Foley is out for revenge now. The fans got their money's worth tonight.
  2. TNT sends Bruiser Brody to cause some chaos in SECW
  3. Another good show with a lot of hot angles going on. I knew it was only a matter of time before Lanny would address his father and tonight he does and so does his father. This will be an interesting story. Fun TV title match as Mean Mike once again shows off his ruthlessness and Daniels proves his a tough customer. Gotta say I'm pumped up for Pistol Pez challenging for the TV title. Ivan Koloff has threatening words for Jake. Will things be settled at the Omni? Long Riders get a strong squash but it looks like Orndorff might be finding a partner to take them on. AWA World Champ, The King sends a message. Looking forward to finding out who his opponent will be. Sawyer is insane! Al Perez has the tools but can he survive the Mad Dog? Oh man! Gary Hart getting cheered! Cant wait to see what's up his sleeve. The next Omni card should be a wild night of action!
  4. TNT releases Buck Zumhofe and would like to pick up Kerry Brown.
  5. Pacific Wrestling continues its streak of hot shows! WOW! Bundy just destroys Adias and sends him out on a stretcher. Bundy is rising fast. RnR look sharp in a crowd pleasing squash. Cobra and his rookie friend Yamada defeat Singh and Hito but Wakamatsu has an ace up his sleeve as his new monster lays down some devastation. Big Jim has become quite the fan favorite. Wild 6 man tag as Blackjack Mulligan arrives! Billy Jack gets the quick pin but this war is far from over. Fun main event as Piper and McGhee beat Rose and Oliver. It's great seeing McGhee up in the main event scene and hanging with Piper. I'm sure the Rose Army is plotting revenge as we speak. Cant wait for the Pacific title tournament.
  6. I really liked this show as we get updated on all the current storylines. Bret Hart has some choice words for Savage and is ready for the fight. Excited about the Young Lions tournament. Mr. Wrestling 2 will be a great mentor and proved to both Gilbert and Garvin he can still get it done in the ring. Hulk Hogan is back from Japan and it's only a matter of time before he gets his AWA world title rematch with the King. Hennig is back and gets a big win over Dream Machine. Him and Martel look to be ready for another run at the champs. Konga continues to rise with another fun squash win. Ellering warns Martel and Hennig to steer clear of the Road Warriors. The Light heavies continue to get good exposure. Dynamite Kid has numerous contenders waiting in line. We're getting closer to the big Stomper/Bad News collision. That one will be explosive! Assassins pull one over on Zenk and Jules but now Wahoo is in the picture. The tag team division here is on fire. Ut Oh looks like Boyd might have an injury. Good job on the realism thrown in here. Murdoch looks strong with a brain buster win over credible Steve O. Rude gets his biggest win to date by beating Gagne. Gagne has a rough night as Savage comes in to inflict more punishment. Wild night in Denver! Rude and Stomper start the show with solid wins. Wahoo and Jules seem to have some chemistry as they put down the Assassins. Wrestling 2 continues to have problems with Hot Stuff Inc. but he looks to have some friends. Cant wait to find out who these guys are. Murdoch continues his winning ways with a strong win over Rheingans. Martel and Hennig are back on track with a win over the Bruise Brothers. What a way to end the show as Hart and Savage go all out and brawl to the very end. This feud is going to be epic!

  8. Sweet! Another huge tournament ahead to crown the biggest title in the Pacific. Some big names involved. Who will be crowned champ?
  9. All-Star Wrestling returns and Randy Savage is a man out for revenge on anyone name Gagne or Hart! Love this crazy Savage. Good to see Hennig is almost ready for action. Him and Martel still have unfinished business in the tag team scene. UT OH, could we be seeing the Assassins joining the tag ranks? Bad news for the other teams. LOL, Crusher just cracks me up and proves he has more left in the tank. Mr. Electricity gets a strong win over Bruce Hart and earns himself a LHW title match. Poor Bruce had a rough night as did brother Keith because they felt the wrath of a crazy Savage. Awesome parking lot brawl between Savage and Bret. Bret's title could be in serious jeopardy. Another fun squash for Konga. Murdoch takes Zenk to school then cuts a great promo on both Wahoo and Bret. Rude continues to shine under Heenan. Fun TV main event as Common Wealth pull one over on Gagne and Brad then proceed to infuriate the fans. Classic card in St. Paul. Stomper continues to get over as a face. Gilbert and Precious sure know how to get heat. Brad and Greg get a DQ win but take a beating. I'm sure Mr. Electricity gave Dynamite a run for his money but the champ prevails. Cool seeing Ellering and Adnan put the tights on. Ellering gets his Road Warriors another shot. Big main event as Hart and Murdoch battle to a double c.o. This could be an interesting feud with Savage in the mix.
  10. Good TV show that follows up from the events from the Omni. Norvell debuts with a strong win over Thornton, proving he has the tools. Loving Reed as National Champ as he looks ready to take on all comers. Ole and Buzz are going to defiantly bring out the aggressive side of the young Arn Anderson. Superstar and Poffo will be a dangerous combination. Al Perez is looking good until the Andersons and Buzz run in for an attack. Fantastics get a big win over the Samoans and want a crack at the Long Riders. Long Riders think differently and have a confrontation at the podium. Chaos ensues and now Poffo looks to be guiding the Long Riders. Poffo has put together a very menacing stable. Tito and Markoff battle to a solid draw. Good TV main event. Dibiase has some ominous words for the Superstar and makes hints at getting a group together. Another good round on the loop. The newly crowned champs successfully defend their titles. Feuds continue and I can see the money coming in.

Really sorry guys, just got home. I'll pick Dan Spivey. I believe I'm good with my roster so I'm withdrawing from the Draft.
  12. spaldoni replied to kevinmcfl's topic in The Dark Web
OK, I'll go with Kendell Windham
  13. The TV title lived up to high expectations. I really loved all the match ups here. Cobra and Spoiler start things off as Hito and Singh are spoilers and give Spoiler the victory. Great finish as Burke advances over Madril. This time McGhee is prepared as he takes care of Rose and defeats Oliver. I liked this because it shows McGhee has good street smarts. Flowers gets a hard fought win over Lafleur with his devastating piledriver! Big Jim looks impressive as him and Jimmy get a satisfying win over LA Express. Burke prevails over Spoiler's shady tactics and advances to the finals. McGhee looks great tonight but Flowers small packages him for the win. Both men come out looking good. The feud between RnR and Zambuie Express only heats up after a wild double DQ. Burke is the TV champ!!! Wild match as Garvin helps his partner by preventing Rogers from interfering. Loved this tournament as it was full of great action. Burke really earned the title and is a fantastic choice as champ. Rose and Adams finish off a great night of action with a solid match. Of course the Army interferes causing a DQ. Thankfully McGhee saves Adams from a brutal beating. Good job in building up a lot of faces to battle the Families.

Hercules Ayala vs. Terry Gibbs Gibbs is one tough customer but tonight he's no match for Ayala. Ayala hammers away on Gibbs then executes a back breaker. Ayala picks Gibbs up and clamps on the bearhug! The pain is to much and Gibbs submits. Ayala cuts a promo on his upcoming taped fist match in Louisville with Austin Idol. He says this match is up his ally and he's going to straight up knock Idol out! After Ayala exits, Stack brings out Tully Blanchard and asks him about his upcoming TV title match with Rich but first Rich needs to get by Adrian Street tonight. Tully: It frustrates me to no end that a country bumpkin like Rich is holding a prestigious title that I should be holding. Rich is so off his game that I wouldn't be surprised if Street beat him for the title tonight. Make no mistake about it, that belt belongs to me! Stasiak: Steve, you're looking at the most devastating tag team in wrestling! Now, with me guiding them, they cant lose. They are invincible! I understand Billy Robinson requested this match. Lawler: Steve, I said I would be a fighting champion and that's exactly what I've been. Nick has been crying for months and now he gets his wish. Bock: Mr. Lawler, you see this here TNT title (holds title up) I want to refresh your memory and remind you that you're the one I beat for this title. That AWA World Title should be mine but I've been a very patient man. I'm far more intelligent and have a lot more class. Mr. Lawler, I will be the next AWA Champion. Lawler: The only thing you're right about is that you're next! I cant wait to punch that arrogance right off your face and let's see how that big brain of yours reacts when I piledrive it down on the mat. 15. Another exciting show from the Pacific! Zambuie Express demolish in their debut but RnR get some payback and show them they're not backing down. Love the Cobra/Singh match. Cobra gets the win but he might need some back up to contend with the numbers game. Lafleur has the right tools to be a light heavy contender. Tough loss for McGhee as that sneaky Rose takes advantage of the distractions to help Oliver get the shady win. More chaos as Billy Jack feels the wrath of Hansen and Anthony but out comes Baron to the rescue. This sets up a wild 6 man match. What a way to end the show as Ron Garvin comes out to team with Burke! D&G Exchange found out how tough these two guys are. The Four Families better watch out! Great job Rain! You are a master of storylines and continuity.
  16. All-Star Wrestling just keeps on rolling as it produces another action packed show. Bret seems ready to defend that North American title. Stomper is starting to get over as a face and is ready to give Allen some bad news when he gets back from suspension. Wow, Dream Machine comes in and the Bruise Brothers are back in town. Martel is hurting but wants Lawler bad. It's so funny watching Lawler play hated heel here and big babyface in Memphis. Abdullah and Konga turns into an all out brawl with Sheiks and Road Warriors joining in. Watch out AWA because Hot Stuff Inc has formed! Fun seeing an early Bulldogs team here. Damn, Murdoch takes out both Two Rivers and Strongbow! He looks more than ready for Wahoo and a shot at Hart. Rude gets a good win over Zenk and wants some gold. Gagne seemed off his game without his partner Rheingans as Commonwealth take advantage and get the win. Big shocker as Randy Savage hits the ring and beats Gagne down! Randy Savage!!!!!!!! OOOOOHHH YEA!!!!!! This is HUGE!!!!! Great Rosemont card, Stomper and Bruise Brothers get good prelim wins. Murdoch earns a shot at the North American title with a hard fought victory over Wahoo. Bulldogs get some revenge on Hot Stuff Inc. Of course Crusher is going to win a street fight in Chicago. Crowd pleasing moment. 6 man chaos that no doubt keeps this hot feud going. Lawler remains champ as he takes down a less than 100% Martel. Beware Lawler, Hogan comes back soon.

Funny you mentioned that because I was thinking the same thing when writing that up. LOL, only in fantasy
  18. Some solid names going after the TV title. I would love to be in attendance for this great night of action.
  19. The long awaited Omni card takes place and over 6,000 fans get their money's worth. With the heated feuds and storylines going on, I would expect the Omni to sell out in the upcoming months. Orndorff, Al Perez and the Fantastics get good wins. Oh man, looks like the Andersons have formed an alliance. Looking forward to that tag team build. Santana and Sawyer battle to a draw. I like this match up. WOW, that Superstar/Dibiase match was insane! Angelo really helps Superstar put Dibiase down. Then we basically get 3 main events as the title tournaments conclude. Mean Mike had some dominating performances and finishes off Bugsy to win the TV title. Sammartino and Rich proved to be a solid team but in the end the Long Riders take home the titles. I was pulling for Reed to win the National Title and he comes through. Jake costs Koloff the match, setting up a heated feud. I'm looking forward to a Reed title reign. I remember reading house show results in the magazines so I enjoyed the house show results here. Some matches that stuck out were Armstrong beating Sheik. Superstar attacking both Reed and Dibiase, Long Riders getting a big win over Orndorff and Santana and Jake and Koloff going at it. Keep up the good work!

TNT Wrestling TV @ The Roane Fieldhouse, Memphis TN 2-1-84 Footage is shown from the Freeman Coliseum as Harley Race distracts Terry Funk, allowing Nick Bockwinkel to take advantage and retain his TNT Title. After the match Harley Race piledrives Funk. Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of TNT Wrestling on the USA Network. Big show lined up as we will have the two first round tournament matches to determine a number one contender for the TV title. Those matches will be Tully Blanchard against Buck Zumhofe and Austin Idol clashes with current rival Hercules Ayala. All this and a lot more. Speaking of the Louisville card, Nick Bockwinkel will get his shot at the AWA World Title against my guest, the champ himself, Jerry the King Lawler! The fans erupt as Lawler walks out with the AWA title on his shoulder. Lance: Welcome back to Memphis King. I know these fans love seeing you with the world title. I must address the controversy in that match as Hogan did have his foot on the rope during the three count. Lawler: Lance, the bottom line is my hand was raised here in Memphis and Verne Gagne himself ruled on that. Now you know I've never backed down from a challenge so when Hogan returns from Japan, the King will give him his rematch. But right now I have some huge news. Terry Funk, come on out! More cheers as Funk storms out. Funk: Harley Race! You egg suck'n coward! Everybody saw what you did. I'm not going to cry about it, instead I did something about it. Jerry Jarrett agreed to this and made it happen. Tonight, myself and Jerry Lawler get to have a match with Race and Nick Bockwinkel! The fans go crazy! Lawler: And I wont have to wait until Louisville to get my hands on that whining Bockwinkel. Lance: Whoa! What a bombshell! That will be explosive! Ok, let's get to the ring. Tully Blanchard vs. Rock n Roll Buck Zumhofe 1st round tournament match Buck hasn't forgot that attack by Tully last week and starts the match with fire. He works Tully over with hip tosses, arm drags and drop kicks. The tide turns when Buck goes for a back drop and Tully kicks him. Tully hits multiple elbow drops on Buck then follows with several knee drops. Tully hoists Buck up and finishes him off with a slingshot suplex for the pin! Tully advances to the finals. Tully motions around his waist that the title will be his. Commercial Break 'Hangman' Bobby Jaggers vs. Gary Williams The fans cheer as Jaggers raises his bullrope to them. This match is all Jaggers as he puts Williams down with a back elbow smash then follows with a Hangman's Neckbreaker for the pin! Jaggers cuts a promo and says he's here for the competition and wants some gold! 'Exotic' Adrian Street w/ Miss Linda vs. Paul Rooney Street is skipping around the ring looking flamboyant as ever. During the match he's choking Rooney with his boot on the ropes. The Ref breaks him off which allows Linda to get her shots in. Street swings Rooney to the ropes and hits the Hotshot for the pin! Street cuts a promo and says in Louisville he's going to finish Cocoa Samoa off for good and give him a makeover he wont ever forget! Commercial Break Lance: Before we get to our next match, please welcome the TNT TV champ, Wildfire Tommy Rich. Rich waves to the cheering fans and holds up his title Lance: Well Tommy, we have a tournament going on with the winner facing you on February 16th at the Louisville Gardens. Tully Blanchard has advanced and will face the winner of the Idol, Ayala match. Any thoughts? Rich: Lance, I'm fired up here in Memphis and fired up to be the TV champ! Competition is what it's all about and it doesn't matter who I face because Tommy Rich is going to remain champ for a long long time brother! Lance: Ok fans there you have it. Back to the ring. Boos hit as Tully Blanchard struts out. Tully: Don't gloss over things Rich. You saw what I did to a former Light heavyweight champ and it doesn't matter who wins the next match because I'm the one getting a shot that's rightfully mine anyways. Your days as champ are numbered and you can think about this in the meantime. Tully takes a swing but Rich was waiting for it and blocks it then puts Tully down with a big right fist! Lance: Oh my, fans lets go to a commercial. Commercial Break Ratamyus and Cuban Assassin vs. Tom Casper and William Hillman Ratamyus and Assassin break just about every rule as they dismantle their opponents. Assassin hits a swinging neckbreaker on Casper then tags in Ratamyus. Ratamyus clamps on the Sleeper and its lights out as the Ref signals for the bell. Hillman runs in to help his partner but Assassin hits him with a charging knee that sends him through the ropes. Ratamyus stomps on Casper before going to the outside. Assassin holds up Hillman as Ratamyus grabs a chair and smashes it over Hillman's head, busting him open! Ratamyus and Cuban Assassin storm the podium as Lance Russell gets out of there quick. Cuban grabs the mic. Cuban: That was for you Putski and McGraw! You better think twice before you return! If that didn't do it, watch this! Ratamyus and Assassin run back to the ring. The Ref is helping Casper up but Assassin and Ratamyus beat him down! They keep hammering away until wrestlers from the back come out to stop this madness. Commercial Break 'Mr. USA' Tony Atlas vs. Frank Silvero After what just happened the fans need something to cheer about. Atlas is the man for the job as he thrills the crowd with his power. Atlas military presses Frank up and slams him down then follows with a big splash for the pin! Atlas cuts a promo and says he's throwing his name in for a TNT title shot! The fans cheer hard for this. Mando and Chavo Guerrero vs. Terry Gibbs and Scott Ferris The Guerreros wanted a tough TV match to get them back on track. Gibbs and Ferris do give them a challenge but once the Guerreros got rolling they kept on rolling as they worked over their opponents with solid teamwork and outstanding chemistry. The finish sees Mando vertical suplex Gibbs then tag in Chavo. Ferris charges in but Chavo drop kicks him through the ropes, then climbs to the top rope. Mando swings Gibbs to the ropes and hits him with a punch to the mid section, Chavo hits a sunset flip from the top rope and gets the pin! The fans cheer as the Guerreros stand tall. Commercial Break 'Universal Heartthrob' Austin Idol vs. Hercules Ayala 1st round tournament match These two rivals come out swinging and keep swinging. They brawl through the ropes, around the ring and back into the ring, then back to the outside. They hammer away on each other until the bell rings, signaling a double countout. They both back off and have looks of disappointment as they just realized they lost out on a TV title shot. They look at each other in anger and start hammering away on each other again. They fight into the commercial break. Commercial break Lance: Well with Ayala and Idol battling to a double countout, that means Tully Blanchard will receive the TV title shot against Tommy Rich in Louisville. I've just been informed that also on that Louisville card, Austin Idol and Hercules Ayala will do battle in a taped fist match. Fans, you wont want to miss that card on February 16th. It's now time for our huge main event. Let's go to the ring. AWA World Champ Jerry 'The King Lawler and Terry Funk VS. AWA TNT Champ Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race Action packed match as all four men are on their A game for this big TV main event. Lawler and Funk dominant early with a lot of punches, elbows and knee drops. Funk gets his hands on Race and punches away then hits an atomic drop that sends Race into the turnbuckles. Race staggers back and Funk hits a back suplex 1..2..Bock breaks it but Lawler comes in and hammers away on Bock. The Ref gets control. Funk swings off the ropes but Bock hits him with a knee to the back from the apron. Funk staggers into a gut wrench suplex by Race. Race stomps on Funk then tags in Bock. 21. Stacked card in LA! The tag tournament was a lot of fun and some new angles develop. Like Kev said, The RnR Express seem to have a lot of enemies as Gama and Hito give them a post match beating, then later Foley's new monster team assaults them which gives the Cowboys the titles! I do like Orton and Brooks as your first champs. Big Jim finally makes his debut as him and Jimmy battle the LA Express to a wild double DQ. Poor Steve O, he just didn't stand a chance against Bundy. I liked that Baron/Spoiler draw. Great main event as Piper once again gets the best of Rose. Adams and McGhee get a nice rub. I cant wait to watch this Piper/Rose feud explode.
  22. Pacific Wrestling continues delivering non stop action and intriguing storylines. Awesome seeing Adonis and Ventura team up and they look strong in victory. Now they have formed an alliance with the Cowboys. The families are looking to rule the Pacific. Adams and McGhee gel well and pick up a huge win over Rip and Madril. Vachon teaches Rogers a lesson but Flowers gets revenge with a chair! I'm sure Burke has a plan. Starr shows off his ability by defeating Steve O. Starr would be a tough challenge for Dynamite. Man, Anthony gets the partner of a lifetime in Stan Hansen! It sure paid off as Hansen's lariat puts Borne and Jack down! Great surprise here! Sawyer puts up a fight but the vicious Gama walks away with the win. LOL, fun main event as Piper puts a big wrench in Rose's plans. Piper not only walks away with the win over Larry Z but gets a ring as well. Awesome stuff! A Piper/Rose feud is money.
  23. The lineup is looking stacked. Cant wait for a great night of action at the Omni!

TNT Wrestling @ Freeman Coliseum 1-27-84 'Rock n Roll' Buck Zumhofe vs. Scott Ferris Buck gets in a good tune up as he prepares for his upcoming TV title tournament match with Tully Blanchard. Ferris gets in some hard hitting offense but a missed clothesline attempt allows Buck to swing back off the ropes with a flying press to get the pin! 'Hangman' Bobby Jaggers vs. Terry Gibbs Gibbs is a tough customer and gets in his hits but Jaggers comes back swinging. Jaggers nails Gibbs with a back elbow smash off the ropes then follows with a Hangman's Neckbreaker for the pin! The fans cheer as Jaggers gets his bullrope and raises it to the crowd. Jumbo Tsuruta and Billy Robinson vs. Decimation w/Stan Stasiak Decimation is still looking for some revenge on Tsuruta and Billy after taking 2 losses. Billy eventually makes the tag to Tsuruta and Tsuruta goes to work. Tsuruta chops Shaw through the ropes then works over Colley with a series of suplexes. Later on, Billy is back in and works Shaw over with European uppercuts then hits a big German suplex but Colley breaks it. All four men are brawling. Tsuruta sends Colley flying with a big boot. The Ref guides Tsuruta to his corner. Billy slams Shaw, hops on the middle ropes but Stasiak gets on the apron and levels Billy with a foreign object! Tsuruta is looking down at Billy and is wondering what happened. Stasiak is yelling something to Tsuruta. 'Mr. USA' Tony Atlas vs. Phil Hickerson w/Johnny Valiant Atlas starts with fire as he hammers away on Hickerson with punches, headbutts, thrusts and body slams. Valiant changes things with a distraction and Hickerson capitalizes. Hickerson hits some body slams then chokes Atlas with his boot. Hickerson drops a knee and almost gets the pin. The fans fire Atlas up as he slowly starts punching away. Valiant gets on the apron but Atlas grabs him. Hickerson charges over but Atlas moves and Hickerson sends Valiant flying off the apron. Atlas rolls up Hickerson 1..2..3! The fans roar as Atlas waves to them. Soul Patrol vs. Bob Sweetan and Dave Shultz Bad blood stemming from Sweetan and Shultz's pre match attack on ESPN last week. Shultz and Sweetan head to the ring but are attacked from behind by the Soul Patrol. Ware and Sugar hammer away on the outside. Both teams brawl all around the ring and to the back resulting in another No Contest! TV Champ Tommy 'Wildfire' Rich, Hercules Ayala and Cocoa Samoa vs. Tully Blanchard, 'Universal Heartthrob' Austin Idol and 'Exotic' Adrian Street w/Miss Linda These guys give the fans over 30 minutes of non stop action. Of course Street managed to avoid Cocoa most of the match. Idol and Ayala had furious exchanges. Rich and Tully beat each other to a pulp. Everybody got their moments to shine. In the chaotic finish, Idol and Ayala punched each other threw the ropes and were brawling around the ring. Rich hit a Thesz Press on Tully. The Ref was telling Rich he isn't the legal man. While that was happening, Cocoa is on the middle ropes, pounding down on Street but Linda gets up on the apron. She pulls something out and is ready to spray Cocoa's eyes but Cocoa hops down quick and pulls Street in front of him. Linda sprays Street in the eyes! Cocoa body slams Street then hops on the middle ropes and hits a splash 1..2..3! The crowd erupts! AWA Southern Tag Team Title Bout Nightmares (C) w/Jimmy Hart vs. The Guerreros Fantastic match as these two teams shine. The momentum switches back and forth several times with each team showing off their chemistry. At one point the Nightmares hit a double back elbow smash on Chavo then followed with a double elbow drop but couldn't put him away. Guerreros showed off their teamwork by double drop kicking Davis out of the ring then followed with a double suplex on Wayne. At the 40 minute mark, Chavo nailed a sunset flip on Davis but Wayne nailed Chavo with a clothesline. Mando comes in and drop kicks Wayne to the corner then starts punching away. The Ref goes over to break it up. Jimmy Hart is yelling at the Ref. Chavo staggers up but Davis nails him with a lowblow! While the Ref is guiding Mando back to his corner, Jimmy Hart runs around the ring and is yelling up at Mando. Mando hops down and chases Hart around the ring. The Nightmares hit a double atomic drop on Chavo. The Ref runs over and counts 1..2..3! Nightmares retain the titles! Mando realizes what happened and runs in the ring to check on Chavo. Hart celebrates with the Nightmares as they raise their titles up to the booing crowd. AWA TNT Title Bout Nick Bockwinkel (C) vs. Terry Funk Funk earned this match with a hard fought victory over Harley Race on TV. Bock is gearing up for an AWA World title bout with Lawler but is more than focused at the task at hand. These two wrestling greats put on a classic that goes 45 minutes. Bock spends a lot of time working over Funk's back with body slams and backbreakers and follows all this up with a Boston Crab but Funk miraculously reached the ropes. Tides turn when Bock missed a charge and hit the turnbuckles. Funk hit a Russian Leg Sweep then went to work. Funk stomps away then hits a hanging suplex followed by a gut wrench suplex then a back suplex but still couldn't put Bock away. Momentum changes again when Funk went for a back drop but Bock kicks him and follows with a quick forearm blast. Bock goes to work on the legs with several leg snaps and a shin breaker. Bock clamps on the figure four! Funk wont submit. A frustrated Bock grabs the ropes and wrenches away. Funk is almost out but the Ref sees Bock use the ropes and forces him to break! The fans cheer as Bock berates the Ref. Bock goes after Funk but Funk kicks him in the gut, grabs his head and hits a Bulldog! Both men are down. Funk eventually staggers up and limps around then starts punching away on Bock. Funk swings Bock to the ropes and hits a clothesline. Funk picks up Bock and executes a swinging neckbreaker. The fans are cheering as Funk is fired up! Boos hit as Harley Race appears at ringside in street clothes. Harley is yelling up at Funk. Funk limps over and points down and warns Harley. Things gets heated as Funk goes to the ropes. Bock wobbles up, charges over and clips Funk's knee from behind! Bock grabs Funk and cradles him 1..2..3! The fans boo as Nick Bockwinkel retains the AWA TNT Title! Bock grabs his title and exits the ring. Harley gets in the ring. Harley stomps down on Funk then hoists him up and crashes him down with a Piledriver! Garbage hits the ring as Harley gives Funk a stomp before leaving.

Thanks Kev, I really want to make the TV title prestigious. I'm having fun with the tag teams and it's going to really heat up when the Fabulous Ones return. LOL, you know me, I love the mid card feuds.
