  1. Beefcake and Houston are gelling pretty well and get a big win over Hot Stuff Inc. Fun 6 man tag as Tojo's men get a big win over the masked faces. Wow, tough night for Link and it ends with a fireball in the face! Dirty White Boys send the Southern Boys packing. I think Terry Funk might of had a rougher night than Link. Dr. D showed no mercy and wins the North American Title. That's bad enough, then Adonis takes full advantage and takes his Texas Title. Funk now has scores to settle with Hart and Pringle. Freebirds stand tall in the end with a victory over the beloved Von Erichs. Freebirds have been pretty dominant as 6 man champs.
  2. That Omni card already looks like a big deal. Doom and Dr. Death will be a big challenge for the Freebirds. Road Warriors are really making their rounds in the NWA. I like this Demon gimmick for Adams. US Express/Iran Cuban Assassins program could be one of those mid card gem feuds. Classic Mid South face turn for Slater. Very well done. Cornette really made that work. Slater brawling with Bubba, yea I'm all for it. Taylor/Murdoch will be a good match but Taylor should keep his eyes on Wright. I wonder how long Dibiase can keep up this pace? He's going to have to deal with Terry Funk in WCCW and now he's dealing with JYD in the UWF. Ladd has some strong words and it looks like there's more to come. The UWF is on fire right now.

  4. Always love seeing Mantel and Jaggers go at it, didn't seem like Leduc was to interested in it LOL. Owen and Santana are out of control. Only a street fight can only resolve this. Ayala gets the first taped fist win. I liked the clean match between Invaders and Battens. Just two contending teams wrestling. Man, Chick and friends have been getting the best of Colon and friends on the loop.
  5. LOL the Brian X gimmick is classic 90s. I hope Maximilan can prove his innocence. Eaton continues to shine as TV champ. Only a matter of time when Morton squares off with Mero. Loved the Sid and Nord videos. These guys fit right in with ECW. Down the road that could be a big money feud. I'm sure Levy has something up his sleeve for Azrael. Man, Simmons and Luger are getting monster heat!
  6. Great follow up from the Bash. Creative way continuing the Adonis/Street feud. Muta and Kendo training in Tojo's dojo is an awesome visual. Terry Funk going ahead with the match against Dr. D might be a mistake but I wouldn't stand in his way LOL. Nice interview with Kerry. I think he has what it takes to be a good drawing traveling champion. Southern Boys and Dirty White Boys are ending things once and for all. Fun TV main event featuring the Road Warriors.

Dibiase: Boys, finally, we're able to leave the Mud Bowl. Although I did have a great time watching the two of you whip up on Dusty Rhodes and his stooge Bull Gantner in the War Games. What a beautiful sight that was. Purchasing your contracts was the best business move I've ever made and now we have King Kong Bundy working with us. Life is sweet but money is sweeter. (The Laugh) Now, as for you Terry Funk, you cost us the match you buffoon and you will surly pay. At least I get to beat up on your sorry excuse for a brother Dory up in Canada. Jimmy Snuka! Don't think I've forgotten about you. Unfortunately, next week in Greensboro I have to defend my US title against you. I say unfortunately because I actually have to wrestle a savage who wrestles barefoot. Jeez, this is so below my standards. I'm just going to have to beat you quick, get it over with and move on. Now boys, tell his savage buddies Polynesian Power, what's in store for them. Fernandez: Polynesian Wimps, we have some unfinished business Daddy and this weekend in Pittsburg, we're going to finish it! Rude: It's simple. the Polynesian Wimps just don't stack up to us. Well, I'm a little nervous to bring him out but here's Tiger Jeet Singh. Huge boos as Singh comes out with Mark Lewin behind him. Singh swings his sword towards Schiavone as Schiavone quickly steps back. Schiavone: I need you to remain calm Mr. Singh. So what's going on here with you and this man, Maniac Mark Lewin? Singh: (Another sword swing that sends Schiavone running off) Run away! First, I told everybody exactly what would happen to Tony St. Clair. Now he's going back to his homeland a beaten and battered man. This man here (points at Lewin), is one of the few men in this world that I respect. He goes to that ring and he destroys! You will see just that in a minute. Now as for you Paul Orndorff, you are next on my hit list, you are next to bleed and bleed you will when I get my hands on you. I will have your head and I will have your title! Singh swings his sword at the camera then follows Lewin to the ring. 'Maniac' Mark Lewin w/Tiger Jeet Singh vs. Tim Straw The bell rings and Lewin unleashes on Straw with punches. Straw falls and Lewin stomps away. Crockett: Ok fans, with me right now is the Universal Heartthrob Austin Idol. Well Austin, you certainly got the best of Rob Fuller in Daytona. Is this issue finally over? Idol: David Crockett, as far as I'm concerned the issue is over brother. It's time for Austin Idol to go after some gold baby and I'm looking for a shot... Idol is blasted from behind by Rob Fuller with a loaded towel! The fans boo as Fuller looks down at Idol. Crockett: Are you out of your mind? What are you doing? Fuller: Austin Idol, you might think this is over but I sure don't! Officials come out to check on Idol as Fuller walks off. Crockett: I think Rob Fuller just made a huge mistake. Fans, back to the ring. The Fabulous Blondes w/Rock Riddle vs. Lou Simms and Bill Richards Timbs swings Richards to the turnbuckles and follows with a charging knee to the mid section. Schiavone: Ok, Don before we get to what we just witnessed, what's the deal with the flag and your face on it? Kernodle: Tony, as you know I've always been the pride of the U.S.A. Well, as you also know, I have been the greatest Canadian International Champion in history. So that makes me the pride of Canada as well. Don't you see the history I'm making here? I'm the pride of two countries! Two! So I wanted to symbolize that and unify that pride with a special flag. This flag with my face on it represents the Pride of Kernodle! Kernodle smiles as he waves the flag around. Schiavone: I...I don't know what to say. Ok well, what about your feud with Corporal Kirchner? Those were some cheap tactics you used to get that victory. Kernodle: Tony, I came out here making history and you ruin it by bringing up the disgraceful name of Kirchner. How dare you! Kernodle walks off, stops and waves the flag as the fans keep booing. Schiavone: I'm speechless. Fans, we'll be back with a featured bout. Kazuo nails DJ with a roundhouse kick as Cobra leaps off the top rope with a Senton! The fans cheer as Hot Property hits the ring and cleans house! Commercial Break Hot Property helped DJ Peterson to the back. The Assassin is at the podium. Assassin: I've had it with those punks always sticking their noises in the Assassin's business. I'm done with it! I'm alone out here and I want those punks out here right now! The fans cheer as Hot Property heads to the podium. Crockett: Easy gentlemen, easy. Assassin: Relax Crockett, I'm not going to cause trouble. I'm here to issue a challenge to these two punks, if they have the guts. This weekend Mid Atlantic has a big card in Pittsburg. My Assassins are set to meet the punks here. I said I was done with them and I want to make it final. This weekend, let's make it a loser leaves town match. You punks have the guts? Travis and Savoldi talk it over. Travis: We have no problem with that but the stipulation doesn't quite work for us big guy. Assassin: I knew you boys were cowards. Savoldi: Hold on, that's not what Billy meant. If we lose, then we'll leave Mid Atlantic, however if we win, your Assassins must unmask! The crowd cheers as The Assassin is take aback by this. Travis: That's right! We want to beat them and have them wrestle the rest of their careers knowing we're responsible for the unmasking. Savoldi: How about it Assassin? You got the guts? You've been doing a lot of talking while I was in Lutte. It's going to be a different story when you're looking at me across the ring. I know you're nothing but a fraud with a big mouth. I guarantee you wont be saying anything when I hit you with the Avalanche! That's Bad News for you! Blackjack Mulligan/Southern Ramblers w/Paul Jones vs. Vic DeMarco/Alex Portman/Lloyd London Paul Jones is all bandaged up and wearing a neck brace. Ramblers and Mulligan dominate the match. He should be banned from wrestling. (Grimaces in pain again) I'm sorry I cant continue. Johnny Rich: It's ok Paul. You know, it seems that lowlife Jimmy Valiant has rubbed off on Rip Oliver. They also have that clown Sweet Brown Sugar helping them out. That's not going to be enough. In Ashville, it's you and me Sugar. Your coward friend Rip Oliver is out of town but my man Randy will be in my corner. (Laughs) Mulligan: Paul Jones paid me a lot of money to get rid of Jimmy Valiant and this weekend in Ashville, that's exactly what I'm going to do! I promise you Paul. And after that is done, Rip Oliver! You're next! Commercial Break NWA National Champ Arthur W. Crews w/Rock Riddle vs. Brad Kimber Crews swings Kimber to the ropes and hits a flying shoulder block. I don't mean any disrespect Tony Schiavone but I need to talk to my personal announcer, Davey Baby. Schiavone shakes his head as David Crockett comes out to save him from this. Crockett sighs. Crockett: Ok, Rock, what's on your mind? Riddle: Come on Davey Baby, the Agency deserves a little more enthusiasm. It's cool, I'll let it slide. Well then again, I guess that somberness is fitting for what's first up on my agenda. You know in Hollywood, sometimes when an actor's studio contract is up, he ends up signing with another studio. It's just part of the business. Well, Tom Prichard and the Agency have parted ways but Tom is going to be just fine. I dealt with another great business man, who reminds me a lot of Hollywood. I'm talking about Luscious Johnny V. Johnny and Tom are a match made in Hollywood Heaven. Good Luck Tom. Now, you just saw Arthur W. Crews, the NWA National Champ in action. Didn't he look great. Crews holds up his title and puts a shine on it as Timbs and Wells smile and pat him on the back. Riddle: Right here and now, we are issuing a challenge to anybody in the NWA who wants a shot at this belt. Arthur wants to travel around and beat wrestlers in other territories. In other words the Agency wants to showcase its prized gem. Next up, there's a team that's gotten under my skin, the Renegade Warriors. They put on a real touching show as the Youngblood brothers have reunited. There's a real B movie for you. My Fabulous Blondes were robbed of their chance at the US titles but we're shooting right back up the ladder and we're starting with you Renegade Warriors. That's a lot to take in, right Davey Baby? Now next time I want you to liven up a bit. I know you got it in you Davey Baby, I know you do. Riddle leads his men out. Crockett: (Long pause) Fans we'll be back for our Television Title Bout. Wrestlers from the back run out. Sawyer is laughing hysterically as the show ends.
  8. Good response from the Russians and Ole after the big NWA title loss. I like this interaction going on between Brisco and Landell. Landell is very smart listening to a former world champ. Nice to see Parsons getting a good push but always beware of Ernie Ladd. Good angle with Wright, Long Riders, Jarrett and Armstrong. Their upcoming match should be a good one. Atlantis is making some waves in the UWF as he lays out the Devil's Duo. Lawler/HTM has been a fun storyline. Great face move by Lawler as he just gives the guitar to a kid. The look on HTM's face must of been priceless.
  9. Armand might of scored the upset of the year beating Martel. Brunzell making Jacques submit might be a close second. Bittersweet night for the Rougeaus. Stud Stable put up a fight but the Road Warriors retain. Road Warriors are becoming quite the NWA draw. Main event was a wild one. Dibiase just seems to always find a way to retain the US title.
  10. Fun makeshift tag match to start the show. Tamba and Leduc are really going at it and they're not even wrestling against each other. This really adds intensity to their feud. Caribbean Express get a big win. Love the 6 man tag match and craziness involved as it continues more feuds. The main event was the money match. I cant imagine how much Chicky infuriated that crowd. I feel bad for the clean up crew.
  11. Classic 80s WWF TV. The 10,000 calls segment was great. The IC title picture is heating up as Valentine and Wahoo are in the mix. The feud between the Hart Foundation and Demolition is out of control. The Rockers taking on Tully and Arn will be a wrestling clinic. Hennig continues to look strong on TV, the way a TV champ should. Vintage Hogan TV main event. Really liked the MSG card. Hennig might of lost to Flair but he comes out looking strong after going 45 minutes. Fun 6 man as the patriotic faces defeat the Horsemen. Muta/Tonga is a show stealing match. Russians get a big win over the Bulldogs, making a statement that they're still in contention.
  12. Fun show with lots of twists and turns. Ut Oh, looks like there's dissention in the Hart family. Doug Sommers returns but takes a spiked piledriver but Borne is going to help him get some payback. Creatchman has some strong words for Paul E. Rip Oliver gets a big win over Dory. Rip's on quite a roll. However, I think Dory will be more than ready to get his hands on Dibiase. Who is this masked man? I liked Candido getting some shine here. Great main event. One thing you don't want to do is make Andre mad, Garvin and Embry found that out. Fun while it lasted LOL.
  13. I'm loving these house shows and was so happy to read you're going to be doing more of them. Tamba opens the show with a strong showing as his stock continues to rise. Tamba then does a run in on Leduc to continue their feud. Classic heel win for Chicky. It wouldn't be a WWC show without an all out brawl and the fans get it during the tag match. Solid and well wrestled main event without any chaos. This match showed the importance of the NWA Light Heavyweight title.
  14. Wow, Goto really did destroy Adias and that was without Sunny interference. Goto made a statement there. Baron gets a HUGE win over OMG with the claw! Loved the hair vs. hair match and the visual of OMG sitting on Paul E. was hilarious. Martel looked good and hopefully is healing well. Awesome main event that would pack a house anywhere. Nice win for RnR.
  15. I liked the spotlight put on Owen's Light Heavyweight title by the announcers mentioning other contenders. Owen and Santana in a street fight will be an epic end to this feud. Cool seeing a different spin put on the Ayala/Bam Bam program with the respect angle. Ayala and Ron Starr in a taped fist series...YES! Caribbean Express continue to look strong on TV and are climbing the tag team ranks. Fun Sports Shop as always, nice way to keep the heat on TNT while he's gone. Colon gets a good segment. I liked what he had to say. Wild main event as the faces end the show on a high note.
  16. ECW keeps on delivering. You know it's going to be a great show when it starts off with a cage match. I love how Eaton is booked here. Luger and Simmons just might end up running ECW. Brian Armstrong cracked me up. His inevitable feud with Brad should be a lot of fun. Poor Bob Backlund, he took a beating from Nord. I wonder if Backlund will snap here in ECW?? Fun match between Highwaymen and AHS. AHS are looking pretty solid. Azrael is making some noise and has a strong showing by dismantling Levy. I really liked what you're doing here with a lot of these wrestlers. It gives them a chance to shine and show what they can do.
  17. July has been my absolute favorite month since I joined this game. So many awesome super cards and the AWA delivers with the Independent Day Spectacular! Rose opens the show with a sneaky win over the crowd pleasing Scorpio. Snakepit has a strong showing as Jake finishes the match with the DDT! Death Sentence and the Sheepherders in a barb wire match! This one gets my money. Hardcore at its best right here. Death Sentence gets the win but looks like the Sheepherders have a deranged plan up their sleeves. The Tanaka/Zenk match is another match I would pay to see. Zenk comes in with a strong build and win streak while Tanaka has really shined as champ, taking on all comers. Smart booking a draw because now we get to see more. Adams and Garvin have made quite the team and get an impressive win over the British Bullies. Piper and Orton as champs is money! Razor Boys looked strong but I think Pipers Pit just has to much momentum going right now to be stopped. The boot camp match between Slaughter and Debeers is the match that's been building up for months. A lot of fans in attendance paid to see this one and wow did it deliver! Slaughter made a lot of people happy with that finish. Again, great build up to a great pay off. After all this, we get a huge AWA World Title bout as Steamboat faces the red hot monster Bigelow. Tremendous match as Bigelow looked strong but Steamboat has enough to get the pin. Steamboat winning with the flying press is always a great way to end the show. Outstanding job!
  18. Really enjoyed this house show. I love house shows because you can throw different matches out there while continuing storylines, as shown here. Fun opener with the classic twin switch. Insane ending to the 6 man tag. The visual of a bloodied Santana wanting to throw Hart down the stairs just shows how intense this feud has become. Victor and Tamba held their own against Colon and Invader 1. Solid clean match with Ayala and Bart Batten and continues the angle from earlier. Strong main event as the Starrs again find a way to hold on to their titles.
  19. What a Bash finale as WCCW puts on one epic event! I would love to see the attendance number for this show because I know it drew big. The crowd probably didn't like the outcome but I liked Gilbert opening the show. The Mega Stars get a mega win on a mega show. Who better to win a Bunkhouse Battle Royal than Dr. D. Fun 6 man tag with the fan favorites getting the win over Tojo's men. I have a feeling this isn't over. Perfect finish for the mix tag match with Adonis spraying the perfume. LOL I wish I could of seen Percy in there with Street or Linda. Andre gets another big moment on a super card. That's always a crowd pleaser. I love the contrast of styles between RnR and Brody/Hansen. I'm sure RnR gave them a heck of a fight and there's no shame losing to the almost unbeatable team of Brody/Hansen. The War Games Match! It exceeded expectations. These guys went all out and gave performances of a lifetime. Everybody looked strong. It really was an all out war. Terry gives up and pays a price for it. If this sets up a Funks vs. Dibiase,/Awesome Twosome feud, I'm all for it! How do you follow a War Games Match? Oh yea with a huge NWA World Title Bout involving Nikita Koloff and Kerry Von Erich. This match really had me on the edge of my seat. So much drama and excitement along with crazy run ins. I loved this match. What a finish! Kerry Von Erich wins the NWA Title! The final picture says it all. What a historic moment. Fantastic job and all your hard work surely paid off.
  20. Getting caught up. MACW traded Hacksaw Duggan and Jimmy Golden to WWF for Bad News Brown and Bull Gantner.
  21. I agree with Gene. Golden would of been brought in with a gimmick and Bunkhouse fits so well with this era. It reminds me of Blackjack Mulligan's Gimmick in the WWF at this time IRL. Just a tough brawling cowboy. And like Dawho says, it's usually a happy thing when these gimmicks arrive early.
  22. I agree with the squash matches. It's a great way to keep all your talent strong on TV. I've enjoyed the Ranger Ross vignettes, they did a great job in hyping him up. Love seeing the Heavenly Bodies debut. Prichard works very well with charismatic managers Cool seeing a potential Superstar/Sika feud. Portland can be a great place for these guys to really shine. Really looking forward to the Gauntlet Match. I'll be cheering Rip Oliver on LOL. You're doing a great job with the Summer Gold build.
  23. MACW @ Township Auditorium, Columbia SC 7-20-86 'Cowboy' Scott Casey vs. Pat Rose Pat works over Casey with some stiff shots and body slams. Casey fires up and makes a comeback. Sugar swings Pardee to the ropes and back drops him then jumps over him with a head snap. Sugar quickly goes to the top turnbuckle. Pardee rises and Sugar hits him with a missile dropkick to get the pin! Bad News Brown vs. ? There's confusion in the ring as Brown's opponent Tim Straw is a no show. The announcer is set to announce the forfeit when there's a commotion. Straw is being dragged down the aisle by Mark Lewin! Straw is a bloody mess. Lewin just throws him down and points up to Brown and challenges him. Brown is more than willing and tells him "Come on!" The Ref says "OK" and signals for the bell. Bad News Brown vs. 'Maniac' Mark Lewin Nothing fancy here as these two trade punches and brawl all around the ring. They finally get back in the ring and continue to brawl. Lewin gets an upper hand and punches away. Lewin body slams Brown and stomps on him, drops a knee and chokes him. Lewin puts Brown's head on the bottom rope and continues with the choking. 24. Duggan is really making an impact! He's taking on Flair at the house shows and takes out the Horsemen with his 2x4. Duggan is already a major player here. The tag team division is on fire. Hart Foundation/Demolition and Power and Glory/Rockers are trading wins. Blade Runners making noise and now the Nasty Boys have arrived! So many contenders for Arn and Tully to work with. Muta has an impressive TV debut. Bunkhouse Buck in the WWF should be a lot of fun. Wahoo and Studd should be a solid hard hitting feud. The Battle Royals are a great idea to set up the next IC contender.
  25. Muta/Kendo vs The Southern Boys is all kinds of excitement. I really like the Mr. Wrestling 3 angle and it's nice to see Mr. Wrestling 2 playing a big part in this. Their feud with Tojo's men has been fun. Brutus gets a big shine here as he gets the pin on Gilbert. Street wins the match, that's great because now we get that mixed tag at the Bash which will be a spectacle. Wow, Hansen and Brody are on a monster roll in WCCW and win the straps. Looking forward to their match with the RnR Express. Interesting note here, these two teams met at Starrcade, that shows the significant of a match like this. I'm sure the fans were disappointed the Freebirds couldn't make it. However, the fans in Daytona probably weren't to happy they showed up there LOL. Von Erichs get some revenge on the Funks and send the fans home happy.
