World Class Championship Wrestling: May 1986
What a great promo by Dibiase! This bounty on Rhodes could be one of the biggest storylines in the NWA! It kicked off with a bang as Link went for it but it's going to be a tough task taking out the Dream. I'm loving the Parsons/Onyx storyline. And now that Parsons regained the TV title, he brings credibility to his words. Kamala and the Funks do a number on Lawler but he comes back with a measure of revenge. That Freebirds/Garvin, Embry, Big Bubba match would of been a lot of fun to watch live. Dream and Hansen go at it with Hansen bringing in the bullrope! Things are really heating up with those two.

We've seen Singh perform a number of these acts and Tony you heard that Carlos Colon is blind right now due to Abdullah. These two men are pure evil. Now this Sunday at the Memorial Day Event, they will get a shot at the NWA World tag team titles. Fans, lets here some pre recorded comments from the champs themselves, the Road Warriors. From a UWF Locker Room Paul Ellering is patting his Wall Street Journal on his mouth. Animal: Singh and Abdullah think they're some real bad dudes! Well this Sunday we're going to show you what bad is all about because you're getting in the ring with the Road Warriors! Tell them Hawk! Hawk: Well! I don't think these guys are so bad. WWF on Tour May 1986
The TV title tournament has been very intriguing. Hennig is looking good with a nice win over HTM. I liked the finish to the Muraco/Billy Jack match. How awesome was it to see Arn and Wahoo going at it in a WWF TV title tournament. Very interested in seeing where this Roma injury goes. The Harts and Russians looked like some fun matches on the loop. You cant go wrong with Flair and Santana going almost an hour. What a segment to end with as Flair rips up the contract and the Horsemen give Hogan a beating. Their eventual showdown will be a money making blockbuster and the fact that no footage has been seen of Flair's title win adds so much to this mystique.

NWA World Wrestling Council May 1986
Owen on the Sports Shop was priceless. I'm looking forward to that alliance. Owen showed serious brutality against his brother. The Singh/TNT feud continues to be one of my favorites. I know El Profe is up to something but I cant imagine what. I'll get my answer on July 5th. Solid TV debut for the Battens. Invader 2 seems to be 100%. Bam Bam BIGELOW makes a huge statement tonight. Very good promo. Once again I love how the announcers continue the storylines. My favorite line "I cant believe the fans have that much garbage left" LOL

UNIVERSAL WRESTLING FEDERATION (UWF)
Bawh Gawd! What a supercard! This was so well written and what a night of twists, turns and title changes. Nikita has done it! The most dangerous man in the NWA, now holds the World Title. After all that out comes Baba, what an ending! Really liked the opening matches to get the crowd going. Warrior and Khan is my guilty pleasure match tonight. I guess I should of seen it coming LOL, but I was still surprised when Fuller turned on Armstrong. Luger blows the feud off with Dr. D and gets Baby Doll as well. Another twist I didn't see coming was Ray Candy! The Nation looked dominant as they attacked Reed, Simmons and Atlas. RnR Express win the titles in style by throwing the Midnights off the Scaffold! Another surprise as Missy helps Hot Stuff send Rich packing. That was one awesome feud! Things get way out of hand with the Road Warriors/Devastation Inc title match. Who is this new alley??? And of course Magnum TA gets a most deserving UWF title run. Great show with a true Mid South 80s feel.

AWA results for May 1986
Lots of great stuff happening in the AWA this week. I like the Douglas/Guerreros feud going on. Great way to get Douglas over but man when it comes to 6 man tags, the Guerreros rule that match. The Spivey/Rotunda alliance continue to dominate. Sabu has taken Piper's Pit to another level. Poor Jake just cant seem to find a way to beat Piper. Zenk continues his winning ways. Loved that Zenk/Pillman match. Black Irish and British Steel continue to put on great hard hitting matches. I'm liking this Chris Adams and he sneaks a pin on Garvin in that tag match. Heck, I would also love to see a Steamboat/Adams match.

NWA Lutte Internationale/International Wrestling May 1986
Great TV! Man, the Nightmares are perfect for Creatchman. Nice continuity, showing footage from Japan. Brito gets a nice win over Gilbert but of course Hot Stuff has to have the last laugh. Jeez, Tonga just destroyed Armand in that cage, which makes Kevin Von Erich's Calgary win over Tonga all the more impressive. Loved that SST/RPM cage match and that Harts/Rougeau's match is a classic.

NWA Lutte Internationale/International Wrestling May 1986
What an announcement! Armand's got guts but also might be a bit crazy to get in a cage with Tonga. I'm a little worried about Armand here.

NWA World Wrestling Council May 1986
The Commissioner laying out fines everywhere. I think Castillo has the toughest job in the wrestling world. That beat down on the RPMs was insane. Only Chicky can cut a promo during all that craziness. Which Hart will prevail next week? Cant wait to find out. That Colon segment from the Hospital was set up perfectly. His return to the ring will be a huge moment. Invader 3 earns his shot against Benoit with a hard fought victory over Santana. July 5th cant come soon enough, man that is one stacked card!

Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling News The NWA has announced that the Great American Bash Tour will be taking place in July. MACW has officially announced that their Great American Bash show will take place on July 2nd at the Memorial Stadium in Charlotte NC. The event will be followed by a fireworks show. MACW hopes to draw 30,000 fans for the event. The Crockett's think they could draw this by putting together an incredible show. Already booked for the event is Stan Hansen, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes, WWC Champion Abdullah the Butcher and Antonio Inoki. All Mid Atlantic titles will be defended as well as an NWA World Title defense by Rick Martel. Official matches will be announced during the month of June. After the departure of the 4 Horsemen, Mid Atlantic's house show numbers dropped a bit. The Crockett's expected this and didn't panic. The turnaround came at the Spring Spectacular with the shocking debut of Ted Dibiase. House show attendance went up for Dibiase's first few title defenses. Last week, Orlando drew a huge number as the main event saw Ted Dibiase and Stan Hansen take on Hacksaw Duggan and Dusty Rhodes. The Crockett's have been more than pleased with the Dibiase/Duggan program and hope to sell out Richmond with that main event. Another feud drawing well has been Harley Race and Paul Orndorff. In his short time with Mid Atlantic, Orndorff has really gotten over with the fans. Harley has done an amazing job with the Mid Atlantic title and the Crockett's rewarded him with a raise. Another angle that appears to be getting over is JJ Dillon's 10, 000 dollar challenge to anyone who can defeat King Kong Bundy. The Crockett's have praised JJ because after he lost the 4 Horsemen, he took this new angle and ran with it. In other big news, Don Kernodle returned from Canada with the Canadian International title. This is a tremendous career rejuvenation for Kernodle. MACW is very pleased to be working with Lutte and the Crockett's were thankful they gave Kernodle this opportunity. This opens up so many doors for Kernodle and Corporal Kirchner as well. The Crockett's have high hopes for this feud and they think it could turn into one of the summer's hottest programs. MACW has also expressed gratitude to Wild West Wrestling. It gave wrestlers like Spike Huber, Bar Room Brawlers and Hot Property a place to showcase their talents. All of this talent has improved tremendously since appearing there. The Crockett's have enjoyed working with the other territories in the NWA and have said having talent come in for spots has eased the departure of the 4 Horsemen. A perfect example is when Dick Slater came in for a match with Terry Taylor. When that was announced there was a big spike in ticket sales. Also, the Road Warriors and Midnight Express boosted attendance when they came to town. Look for more talent across the NWA to make appearances in MACW. After a crazy spring, MACW is back on track and looking forward to an amazing summer.

Big Time Wrestling (San Francisco) May 86
What a turn by Blassie! Man, that Cow Palace crowd must of been furious! This sets up a huge money making rematch between Stevens and Flowers. I thought Stevens would win the title but after reading this, you made the right move with Flowers. I like your pairing of Flowers and Royal. Kansas Jayhawks automatically brings credibility to the tag team titles. Boogie Down Productions still look strong in their loss. After reading the results, I think you have a fun roster to work with. Looking forward to the future of Big Time Wrestling.

World Class Championship Wrestling: May 1986
Yea, Rod's promo was hilarious. Parade of Champions should be an awesome day of wrestling. Hall gets a big win over Parsons but Parsons manages to get the last laugh on Doll. Dirty White Boys and Onyx Express could be a good feud. Well, looks like the Texas Dream is gone. It seems like Dusty Rhodes is about to explode in WCCW. Freebirds/Kamala and Nasty Boys must of been an insane brawl and that's followed by Road Warriors/Funks! Fantastic way to end the card!

NWA Lutte Internationale/International Wrestling May 1986
Good Grief that cage match was insane! A 60 minute cage draw definitely gives the fans their money's worth. Looks like Kokina is still rattled from his title loss as he falls to Leduc.

I cant tell you how great it is to finally have a top notch tag team like the Southern Ramblers in my Army. Now my enforcer Rip Oliver has already taken care of that thorn in my side Jimmy Valiant (Laughs) He hasn't shown his face in weeks. Thank you Rip. Rip, it seems Terry Taylor wants to meddle in our business. Tell these idiots what you're going to do to him on May 25th. Oliver: Paul it was my pleasure to rid this place of that poor sap Jimmy Valiant. I'm sorry, I meant that poor OLD sap Jimmy Valiant (More Laughs) I hope you're paying attention at what I'm capable of Terry Taylor, because come May 25th you're going to get a big dose of what I'm serving and I don't think you're going to like it at all! The fans boo heavily as Don comes out smiling with the title around his waist. Don: You know Tony, as you can see I'm on quite a roll in Canada. At least Lutte gives me the respect I deserve. I won this prestigious title fair and square and I'm going to be a fighting champion. Like I said, I'm the pride of the USA, but I'm also the pride of Canada. I'll defend this title against all comers, that cry baby Jacques Rougeau, or that even bigger cry baby, Corporal Kirchner. By the way, you don't know how liberating it is to be done with that deadweight of a partner, he... Kirchner blasts Kernodle from behind at the podium! The fans roar as Kirchner pounds away on Kernodle! Several officials come out to restrain Kirchner. Kernodle stands up, staggers back and falls. Crockett: Oh brother, what can we do for you Rock? This is Mark's time. Riddle: Not anymore, it's the Television Champ's time. Go ahead Tom. Tom: You know Mark, I'm getting tired of your goody goody attitude and how you're more than ready for me. WWF on Tour May 1986
Really liked the tournament matches. Valentine looked good. Sting and Bad News was my favorite with a good ending. Sika and OMG was out of control fun. The Tully/Bravo match was so realistic. Savage and Arn tore the house down. What a TV main event. I think Savage is going to need some help in his fight with the Horsemen. Wahoo and Tito look to be up for it. All they need is one more to even the odds. That Flair/Tito MSG match was a classic.
