Dibiase should've known that Watts isn't for sale. The fans end up getting a solid main event. Boone comes to town with fire but Borne puts it out. Great choice putting the TV title on Borne. WOW! After what went down last week, things get heated between Woman and Luger and just like that their relationship is over. Vader and Barbarian stay loyal and give Luger a beating. Luger's going to be one fired up babyface. Herc takes down Lombardi and now wants a piece of Borne. Loving Muta here. Walking out on Bruno was hilarious. Bruno trying to save face was icing on the cake. Fun Mid Southern main event. Dibiase was so awesome here. Pays off the Ref and ends up leaving Embry hanging. I was wondering if we would see crooked Ref Danny Davis in the game and here he is. Great stuff! Can't wait for Dangerous Uprising. You've done a great job building these matches up.

Moretti kicks off the Supercard with a win. I agree, she deserves another title shot. Kat works off Linda's distractions and gets the big win over Maxine. Things really heat up with the tag title bout. Monsters get DQed but the fight continues in the back. Love all the chaos with the Staff even taking bumps. The heat is on! West looks strong with a win over Hosaka. The veteran Combs stays in title contention with a nice win over Morgan. Brown gets a tainted win over Ray, but a win is a win. Medusa vs. Richter for literally all the marbles! I loved the hype all throughout the show. This was built into something special. 35 minutes with everything you could've asked for. Medusa wins it all! Awesome visual of her holding all the titles. This was a perfect summer card because it was HOT!

Double A gets his shot tonight. Haystacks once again proves his dominance over 3 men! Ross nails his Combat kick before Thunderfoot can load his boot. It takes a distraction and an axehandle to put Siva down. New Breed are getting into title contention. Yamada excites the crowd with the Shooting Star Press. Fuller gets his loaded boot in to defeat Hase. Adias and The Grapplers retain over Sherri's group. I'm sure Sherri will want a rematch. Flair ends the night on a high note by retaining over Arn in a classic.

Malenko's rack up another victory. Whether it's tag matches or single's, Warrior is mowing down the competition. Sabu takes Tiger to a double c.o. I'm so ready for a rematch. The LHW matches have become show stealers. Backlund is impressed with Anvil. However, Young, not so much. Speaking of Anvil, he ruins the tag title bout and pays a huge price. I think Bob needs to have a sit down with Anvil and Young. Furnas shines but my man St. Clair pulls it out. I love St. Clair's finisher.

AWA @ The Dunn Center 7-24-87 The Original Midnight Express w/Norvell Austin defeated Salvatore Bellomo and Tim Patterson with a Double Hot Shot Scott "Powerhouse" Putski defeated Vinnie Valentino with the Polish Hammer, Vin Man had to be helped out. Commando Boone defeated Corporal Kirchner- During a Ref bump, Boone actually hit Kirchner with his own American flag. Boone followed with giant elbow drop for the tainted win. "The Beast" Rip Morgan defeated "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly- In a rare heel vs. heel match, Kelly seemed a bit unfocused without The Vin Man. Morgan took advantage with a big boot to the head for the win. Polynesian Power vs. Carlos Colon and TNT w/Curtis Iaukea was declared a NO CONTEST- Both teams came out with kendo sticks and beat the hell out of each other before the bell even rang. AWA World Tag Team Title Bout The Bruise Brothers (Tony Atlas and Larry Cameron) w/the Snowman vs. The Cripplers Due to the Freebird rule, it's Atlas and Cameron in the ring tonight. This doesn't seem to throw the Cripplers off their game as they come out with fists of fury. The Bruise Brothers put their strength to work and overpower the challengers for a good amount of time. Cripplers come back hard and almost get the win with a double rib breaker on Cameron. The match goes on for a few more hard hitting moments. The finish comes when the Ref is tied up with Cameron and Oliver fighting in the opposite corner. Snowman runs in the ring and nails Kerry with a running double axehandle to the back of his head. Atlas follows with a splash as the Ref turns around and counts 1..2..3! Bruise Brothers retain! "Bullet" Bob Armstrong, "The Fabulous One" Steve Keirn and "The Z-Man" Tom Zenk vs. Tommy "Wildfire" Rich, "The Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol and "Terrific" Terry Taylor w/Baby Doll There's a lot of commotion in the ring when Armstrong and Keirn show up without Zenk. Rich, Idol and Taylor are laughing when Rich grabs the mic. Rich: Hey boys, looks like you're a man short. Where's the Z-Man? (Laughs) Oh that's right, he got nailed upside his head with a chair, trying to be a hero. (Looks at Taylor) Great job Terry, or better yet, terrific job. Taylor smiles and pats himself on the back as Idol and Baby Doll applaud. Armstrong snatches the mic. Armstrong: You know Tommy, I do agree with you on one thing. It's great to have friends. Tom Zenk will be back soon, count on it. However, we found a friend to fill in tonight. And you boys know him real well. Armstrong gives the mic back to the announcer and whispers in his ear. The crowd goes bonkers as JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER is announced as the substitute!!! Rich, Idol, and Taylor are having a meltdown. Baby Doll gets out of there as Lawler hits the ring with a vengeance. The bell rings and the place goes nuts. Lawler gives Rich a pounding! Armstrong is all over Idol as Keirn works over Taylor. The heels take a beating and get knocked through the ropes. The fans are going wild. Things eventually get as calm as can be and a match does happen. It's 40 minutes of heat filled action with everybody getting their shine. Of course the match ends with a pier six brawl. It's pure chaos! Armstrong clotheslines Idol over the top rope. Keirn dropkicks Taylor out of the ring. Baby Doll tosses Rich her purse (Obviously loaded) but Lawler intercepts it and wallops Rich with it. Rich spins around and goes down. Armstrong and Keirn go to the outside and pound away on Taylor and Idol. Lawler hoists up a lifeless Rich and piledrives him down 1..2..3! The fans blow the roof off the place!

Warriors and Steel kicked the night off in a big way. Rose's plan works to perfection. He's a very wise man. Cactus Jack sends a message that he's a real threat. The Odd Couple are on the rise again. Earlier this year, if you told me Eddie and Barr would be teaming up, I would've said you're crazy! They come up short tonight, but I can see them wearing gold in the future. Loved the Bock/Red booking. Old lion vs. Young lion. Bubba better get ready because Red is going to be look'n for some Texas justice!

I really liked the TV format and back to back episodes. It showcases the stacked roster you've built up. Good job balancing out the shows with wrestling action and interview times. Everybody will get a chance to shine here. Cool seeing Wild Bill get the win and extra heat with his bullrope. Savage and Adams is becoming my favorite feud. Both of these guys are in top form. Precious better not get in Jake's way. Hall and Spivey are on the verge of something big. Is there a tougher faction in this game than the Untouchables? Rotunda's hard work pays off as he gets a shot at Reed. The Untouchables might be the toughest group but Akbar's Army is a true monster faction. Bam Bam is the perfect guy to hold the Street Fight title. Scott Casey gets a HUGE win over Khan! Damn! Look at that card in Bloomington. Race vs. Mulligan...YES!

AWA @ The Louisville Gardens 7-23-87 "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko defeated A Local Talent with a swinging neckbreaker . Pure showcase for Zbyszko who manages to rile up the fans early. The Wild Bunch w/Nelson Royal defeated Stoney Burke and Gene Ligon with a double running bulldog on Burke Billy Jack Strong defeated "Dynamite" DJ Peterson- DJ went for a running shoulder thrust in the corner but Strong moved and rolled DJ up with a handful of tights. The Technicians and Venomous battled to a 10 minute draw- With the Technicians wrestling skills going up against the high flying offense of Venomous, things seemed to be just getting warmed up when the 10 minutes expired. AWA International Title Bout El Canek (C) vs. 'The Great" Gama Singh These guys give the fans over 30 minutes of back and forth action. Gama gets in the zone and works Canek over, then when the moment strikes, he clamps on the cobra clutch. The title is within his grasp, until Canek uses all his strength to back pedal Gama into the turnbuckles. Canek makes the ultimate comeback and finishes things off with a flying legdrop from the top rope. Canek retains! AWA National Tag Team Title Bout The Quebec Coalition w/Frenchy Martin vs. The British Bombers Another match that goes past 30 minutes. Both teams shine and show off some tremendous teamwork. Things get a bit crazy and both teams end up fighting on the outside, resulting in a double c.o. Frenchy makes the mistake and tries to interfere but ends up getting a double clothesline from the Bombers. Quebec Coalition retains but it's the Bombers who are standing tall. AWA World Title Bout Bad News Brown (C) vs. Crusher Blackwell This one's hard hitting and physical. It's evenly matched during the first few minutes with both men getting in some serious blows. Blackwell gets the upper hand and has Brown reeling and bumping. Brown comes back and works Blackwell over with some Judo moves. The tide turns again and Blackwell turns it up. Blackwell puts Brown down with a back elbow smash, follows with a couple body slams and a vertical suplex. The fans are up and cheering for Blackwell. Blackwell swings Brown to the corner and charges for an Avalanche but Brown moves. Blackwell hits hard and staggers back as Brown nails him with the ghetto blaster 1..2..3! Clearly Brown is feeling the affects as he staggers up. Brown regroups and holds his title high.

Ted Dibiase is out to prove that everybody has a price. Luger impresses! Bad news follows as Watts vacates the tag titles. Woman doesn't like it and doesn't like Luger's disobedience. I'll be watching this closely. The mysterious Muta is getting over. I see a future with this guy. Great powerhouse match between Shaw and Duggan. Duggan prevails, HOOOOOOOO! It seems Duggan talked some sense into Benoit. I loved the total Mid South craziness in the main event. Dibiase, Sheik, Duggan, Embry, Hercules! All sorts of chaos leads to Borne winning the TV title. You're off to a great start!

The Russians are getting stronger and Solie is pushing his luck with them. JYD and Wahoo aren't intimidated by the Russians. Wahoo doesn't mind adding a little fuel to the fire. Hot Stuff Inc. are on top of the world and even laugh at Sawyer being a challenge. Problem is, it's BUZZ Sawyer! Awesome segment as the Mad Dog tears Gilbert up. Nightmares have arrived. Glad you went with the masked version. Gives them more opportunity to break the rules. Speaking of masked men, Spoiler is on a roll. Ladd is slowly getting over with the fans. He's already over with me. The Labor Day Spectacular is going to rock! Tully's the best! Cuts a tough guy promo on Kaz, then quickly exits when he arrives. Classic Tully. Freebirds and Commonwealth are heading into Revolution's first bloodiest feud. Ladd has Revolution in high gear.

AWA @ The Hammond Center 7-22-87 Footage from last week is shown as Bad News Brown wins the battle royal to become the new AWA World Champion. Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of AWA Major League Wrestling. Tonight you'll see Larry Zbyszko taking in his former National tag team champion partner, Al Perez. Scott Putski goes one on one with Kevin Kelly, and the winner will get a TV title shot next week. And Corporal Kirchner teams with DJ Peterson to do battle with Commando Boone and Billy Jack Strong. We'll also be hearing from the new AWA World Champion Bad News Brown. All that and a lot more, so let's get to the ring. "The Z-Man" Tom Zenk vs. Carl Kellerman Zenk impresses the fans with his high flying offense and wins the match with a missile dropkick! Resnick: Congratulations on another fine win. Tom, things between you and Terry Taylor are still heated as you guys have been trading wins all across the AWA arenas. Is there any end in sight? Zenk: At Wrestlerock my former friend and partner started all this. So, to answer your question Ken. The end will come when I finish this once and for all. Commercial Break "The Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko The bell rings and the former National tag team champs have an intense stare down. Larry then starts jawing and pointing at Perez. Larry turns up the yelling and then shoves Perez. Larry continues the yelling and shoves Perez again. Perez lunges forward and pushes Larry to the ground. The fans are cheering as Perez pumps his fists. Larry quickly gets up and tries to apologize. Boos as Larry extends his hand. Perez slaps it away. A pissed off Larry goes for a wild swing but Perez ducks and atomic drops Larry over the top rope. The Ref starts counting. Larry teases getting back in the ring but sees a pumped up Perez waiting and rethinks things. Larry just simply walks away and to the back as the Ref hits 10. Perez is disappointed with the c.o. victory but pumps his fist to the fans. Commercial Break "Crusher" Blackwell vs. Neil Jordan Blackwell swings Jordan to the corner and follows with the Avalanche. Jordan collapses as Blackwell drops a big elbow for the win. Cheers as Blackwell heads to ringside. Resnick: Crusher Blackwell, last week you had a tremendous showing in the battle royal. Because of that, this weekend in the Louisville Gardens, you will get an AWA world title shot at Bad News Brown. What an opportunity. Blackwell: I've been gunning hard to be a top contender for the AWA world title. And here I am. It took a lowblow for Bad News to get over on me. He caught me off guard. Well, I've got some bad news for him. I won't let that happen again. It's my time to be champion. Commercial Break Resnick: Alright, I'm standing her with the Latin Heartthrob Al Perez. Al, this situation with you and your former partner has really heated up in the last week. After what happened earlier, it looks like you have some unfinished business with Larry Zbyszko. Perez: Hey, what happened last week in the battle royal was fair game and I had no hard feelings with Larry. I thought we.... Thundering boos as Tommy Rich (wearing a 'Where's Lawler'? T-Shirt), Austin Idol, Dream Machine and Baby Doll come out. Resnick: Whoa, ok, just a minute Baby Doll: Geez, relax Resnick, will you. Rich: Ken, I told you, I've got friends and me and my friends have business with this guy. (looks at Perez) Listen up chump, my main man Austin Idol has something to say to you and brother, you better listen! Dream Machine: Once again, listen up babay! Idol: Thank you Tommy. Thanks Dream. (Looks at Perez) Look kid, there's only one heartthrob in the AWA and darling, it's me! So, from this point on, I forbid you to use and disgrace the heartthrob name. Oh and in case you didn't understand me, we've brought along an interpreter to help translate. I'm talking about Everybody's Compadre Alberto Madril. More boos as Madril arrogantly walks up to Perez. He puts his hand on Perez's shoulder and smiles. Madril: Amigo, from one Al to another. Give up the heartthrob name. Come on. Madril lightly slaps Perez across the cheek. Perez angrily pushes Madril's hand away. Madril: Look, I'm your compadre, I'm everybody's compadre. One more time, give up the name. Madril smiles and lightly slaps Perez's cheek. Perez pushes Madril back. Madril looks at Resnick, smiles and shrugs his shoulders. Rich, Idol and Dream Machine jump Perez and give him a 3 on 1 beating. While this is going on, Madril grabs the mic. Madril: I tried, I really did. Madril then hits Perez with the mic. Now it's 4 on 1. Massive cheers as Tom Zenk comes out swinging a chair. WHAM! He's hit with a chair from behind by Terry Taylor! Perez is hurled into the ring. Dream drops several elbows on him. Rich picks up Perez and piledrives him down. Idol clamps on the Las Vegas leglock! While he's wrenching away, Larry Zbyszko strolls out. Larry smiles and twirls his finger off his head as to say "Carry on" Larry then turns around and walks away. Taylor stomps away on Zenk. Idol continues to wrench away on Perez as Rich, Madril and Dream put the boots to him. Commercial Break Resnick: My goodness, Al Perez was just taken out on a stretcher. Tom Zenk was helped out by several trainees. What a horrible incident. We'll be right back. Commercial Break Winner gets an AWA TV title shot next week Scott "Powerhouse" Putski vs. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly w/The Vin Man Vinnie distracts Putski as the bell rings. Kelly puts Putski down with a clothesline from behind. Vinnie laughs and calmly exits the ring. The Ref backs Kelly off, which allows Vinnie to slap Putski across the face. Kelly picks up Putski and swings him into the corner, then follows with a running knee to the mid section. Kelly hits a gut wrench suplex 1..2..Putski barley gets his shoulder up. Kelly and Vinnie berate the Ref. Kelly finally returns to Putski. Commercial Break AWA National Tag Champs The Quebec Coalition w/Frenchy Martin vs. Ray Glader and Todd Rooney Frenchy proudly waves the Quebec Flag as Charland hits an inverted piledriver and Lefon follows with a Senton for the win. At ringside, the Coalition hold up their titles while Frenchy cuts a promo on how his team will make short work of the British Bombers this weekend in Louisville. Commercial Break Polynesian Power vs. Marvin Jones and Rance Jackson Kokina hits the Samoan Drop on Jackson, and Snuka follows with the Superfly Splash for the win. Resnick tries to interview them, but Snuka and Kokina break out kendo sticks and shout threats at Colon, TNT and Iaukea. Polynesian Power have some serious rage going on right now. They storm off. Resnick: (Deep breath) I wouldn't want to be Colon, TNT or Iaukea right now. Commercial Break An advertisement is shown for the next AWA Closed Circuit event. Collision at the Coliseum, Saturday September 3rd at the Alumni Coliseum. The camera zooms in on the glowing pink "Beauty Shop" sign, then pans down on Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. (Looks over at Yoshiaki Yatsu) Yoshi, it's great to see you. I wish I had some good news but I don't. I've been unable to locate Gerry Morrow. I don't know what to do. Again, if anybody has any information please call this number at 555-SHOP. I won't give up on you Gerry. Ok, now, I've said it a million times, this is where all the scoops happen. And boy, do I have a doozy tonight. My first guest is none other than the President of the AWA, Jerry Jarrett. Jarrett comes out with a serious look and shakes hands with Brenda. Britton: Jerry, I know you have something big and you came to the right place. Floor's yours President. Jarrett: I'll get right to it. On Independence Day, the Glamour Boys were attacked in the parking lot and suffered injuries. That also costed them a world tag team title shot. Britton: Come on Jerry, tell us something we don't know. Jarrett: I'm getting to that. It turns out there was a video camera in the parking lot. I know who was responsible. I've asked them to come out and explain their terrible actions. The men responsible are Phil Hickerson and Killer Brooks. Britton: What? Are you sure? Hickerson and Brooks walk out. Jarrett: You boys are in a lot of trouble. There's no way out of this. You were caught. Brooks: So what! Do we look scared? My friend here will happily explain everything. Hickerson: Good to see you again Jarrett. Hey, I'm not hiding! Of course we did it! And you know what? We enjoyed every minute of it. The last couple years my partner Bobby Duncum and I bruised and bloodied those pretty boys all over Texas and Florida. Then, it all came down to a cage match. Duncum lost the match and then just retired. What was worse, is he shook those punks hands! Well, good ol Bobby might have been ok with that, but not me! I spent months planning my next move. Then, out of the blue, I get a call from my old friend Dennis Condrey. And wouldn't you know it, he tells me the Glamour Boys are here. The rest was easy. I went out and got the best bounty hunter in the business, Killer Brooks. Paid him a few bucks and it was on. I got what I wanted. I got the last laugh. How does that feel Glamour Gals? Britton: Well, that makes perfect sense to me. Those punks got what they deserved. Jarrett: You all might think this is a big joke. I was set to blackball the two of you from wrestling, However, once the Glamour Boys were informed of this, they begged me for a match with you two. I reluctantly said OK. That match will happen next week right here on TV. Hickerson: (laughs) Well, this just keeps getting better. You ready Killer? Brooks: Always ready for a fight! Britton: There you have it! As always it all happens here on the Beauty Shop. Until next week tooooodles. Commercial Break Corporal Kirchner and "Dynamite" DJ Peterson vs. Commando Boone and Billy Jack Strong 2 feuds in one match. The bell rings and Kirchner and Boone have a slugfest. Strong and Peterson fight to the outside. It's chaos. The Ref finally gets control. Kirchner fires away on Boone and tags in DJ. Kirchner and DJ double bodyslam Boone! Strong runs in and gets a double back drop. DJ drops a jumping elbow on Boone 1..2..Kick Out. DJ tags in Kirchner, Kirchner swings off the ropes and nails Boone with a running knee. Boone staggers back and tags in Strong. Strong and Kirchner go at it. Kirchner gets the upper hand and swings Strong into the corner as DJ puts him down with a punch. Kirchner tags in DJ. Strong staggers up as DJ scoop slams him down and follows with a standing leg drop 1..2..Kick Out. DJ picks up Strong and swings him to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Strong kicks him and makes the tag to Boone. Boone comes in but DJ dives over and tags in Kirchner. Kirchner hammers away on Boone but Boone rakes his eyes and slams him down. Boone regroups and stomps away on Kirchner. Boone swings Kirchner to the ropes and puts him down with a back elbow smash. Boone tags in Strong. Strong swings Kirchner to the corner and follows with a running clothesline. Strong follows with several shoulder thrusts, then hip tosses Kirchner out. Strong pushes Kirchner into the corner. Boone chokes Kirchner as Strong puts the boots to him. Strong tags in Boone. Boone chokes Kirchner on the top rope and flings him back. Boone picks up Kirchner and twirls him around. Kirchner's boot hits the Ref. The Ref goes down. Boone slams Kirchner down. Strong comes off the top rope with a double forearm smash on Kirchner. DJ runs in and pounds away on Strong. Once again, they fight to the outside. Boone drops a leg on Kirchner and covers but the Ref is still out. On the outside, Strong whips DJ towards the steel post but DJ reverses it and whips Strong into the post. DJ climbs to the top rope. Boone is pissed and gets off Kirchner. As Boone turns towards the Ref, DJ nails him with a flying shoulder tackle from the top rope! DJ wakes up the Ref. Kirchner staggers up and drops a jumping knee on Boone as the Ref crawls over and counts 1..2..3! Big Pop! Commercial Break Resnick: Wow! What a match! Switching gears, I understand Al Perez was taken to the hospital for evaluations. I hope he's ok after that horrific attack. Tom Zenk was shaken up, but I understand he'll be ok. Well, please welcome out the new AWA World Champion, Bad News Brown. Brown walks out with a scowl, and holds his title high. Resnick: Congratulations are in order. You outlasted everyone in the battle royal and are standing here as AWA world champ. As you know the challengers are waiting. Ricky Steamboat will get a chance when he returns from Japan and this weekend in Louisville, you've got Crusher Blackwell. Brown: First off, I don't need congratulations from a condescending idiot like you Resnick! I don't need anything from anybody! I train alone, I travel alone, I stand alone, and I won this here world title on my own. I don't care who it is, you step into the ring with me and it's bad news for you! Blackwell! You're the first up and you're the first one I'm knocking down! Steamboat, Lawler, Rich, Armstrong, Singh, it don't matter! They'll all fall like dominoes! Bad News holds his fist up and slowly raises the title up.

Pardue brings the heat, but it's not enough to beat Nellie. Devine and Hosaka go at it hard with Devine coming out victorious. Wild backstage brawl tells me things are far from over. Change of pace as Peterson beats Adams in a clean match. Solid sportsmanship from both ladies. The Season's matches have added so much interest. Everybody has something to do. Great idea! WWW once again delivers a top notch main event. Combs and Misty exhaust Richter, but the triple champ retains. Is there anybody on a hotter streak than Richter?

National Wrestling Alliance
Glad everything worked out for you. It would've been a major bummer without the NWA for a month. Ross and his Combat kick is getting over. Ace puts up a fight, but Linda and Dundee are too much for anyone. Chic and Gigolo along with Sherri make a splash by taking down Good & Plenty. I really like the push Adias is getting. Mega Man keeps riding his wave of momentum! Big time win over the Iceman. However, Smiley is waiting. YES! Budro has arrived! This is awesome!!!! Can't wait for the Battle of the Nature Boys! The NWA will be racking in the money. Worldwide, In a very short time, the Grapplers have become a top team here. Looking forward to Lightfoot's heel run. The Chief means business. Black Bart will give Mega Man a fight. No doubt about it. The Soul Man is coming! Great way to showcase his arrival. Exciting week!

Windy City Pro Wrestling
In just a few months, Windy City has put together one money making roster. 1st round matches do a great job of putting the big names over. Butch Reed was a nice surprise as was his new manager, Paul Jones. As if the tag division wasn't stacked enough, in comes the RnR Express! 2nd round is a lot of fun. Hall gets his moments but Reed advances. More heat added to the Savage/Adams feud. Jake DDT's his way to the semis. And Jimmy Jam gets the heel bye. The new team of Champion and Thompson arrive, but unfortunately, they had to face the Nasty Boys. Here we go! Reed vs. Jake! Jones gets in his heat and Reed takes advantage to advance. Adams shocks old rival Jimmy Jam and backslides his way to the finals. Renegade Warriors get in their showcase and are quickly rising the ranks. Even though he lost, Adams comes out over more than ever. I have to admit, I'm looking forward to a heel Reed tearing it up here. WHAT!?!?!?! Harley turns on Bam Bam! WOW! Harley, Reed, Orton, Slater and Jones! They hold all the gold and they are UNTOUCHABLE! What an ending! Windy City has made its mark and is ready for TV!

Cool seeing Ray Stevens getting a career resurgence. Wright's heel heat is helping a lot with this. Koloff's look to be the top heels here and rightfully so. It's going to be fun watching a babyface Spoiler taking on the bad boys here. I know Ladd is a heel but the man always makes the right moves for good business. The tag tournament is going to be epic. I like the touch of scouting out potential arenas. Wow! Kaz has got to be one happy man. He debuts and immediately gets into a program with Tully. Not a bad first night. Gilbert retains, thanks to Missy. Hot Stuff Inc. is rivaling for the top heel faction. Fun read!

Never a dull moment with the Knights. Looking forward to their next interview. The Odd Couple are back and haven't lost a step. LOL, I could totally see Warrior chasing a terrified Cornette. I'm loving St. Clair's TV title run and the variety of challengers he's taking on. Great match with the Big Cat.

I knew I was in for a good show when I read what the main event was. Nellie gets a good shine and wins her Season's Match. Pardue's darker side, or as she calls it "quick thinking" pays off. If it wasn't for Frenchy's interference last time, I believe you would be standing here with the titles. Dave: We've been known to break the rules, but we made a pact with Frenchy and his boys to go at it clean. They broke it and now all bets are off. Smith: The belts are coming home with us and Frenchy better stay out of our way! Commercial Break AWA TV Title Bout Nick Busick (C) vs. Randy Rose w/Norvell Austin and Dennis Condrey The bell rings but Norvell and Condrey distract Busick as Rose nails Busick from behind with a high knee. Road Warrior Animal gets his shot at Stan Hansen. WOW! The fans get one heck of a main event to look forward to. Always liked the "Combat Kick" name as a finisher. Looking forward to watching Lightfoot perform as a heel. Gigolo is out and Chick Donovan is in! I've enjoyed Chick throughout the game. The new Radiance is off to a good start. Big win for Yamada as he takes down the Iceman. The visual of Hansen putting Animal down with the lariat was awesome. Stan is the man! Fort Meyers, Siva gets the crowd going with a big win. Smiley continues his win streak with a win over Jump'n Jim. Deaton vs. Brickhouse is the kind of mid card match up I like. Slick gets his men out of there. However, I think S&S have earned another shot.

Welcome! Watts gets things going quick with a fired up promo on Ladd and the TV tournament announcement. Nord looks like a beast as he advances over Biff. Great segment with Dibiase and Duggan. Watts will make a ton of money off these guys going at it. This segues into quick heat between Graham and Borne. Thanks to Sheik, Borne will advance. It looks like Adnan and Woman will be battling for the top heel faction spot. No denying Woman, her guys have the gold. Looking forward to Luger's first contender. Herc dismantles Johnny Rich to advance. Benoit is nervous and Embry is over confident. Fun match up as Benoit leaves Embry laid out. Embry did leave a mark on Benoit. Will see how that plays out. Herc doesn't take the money and is clearly established as a babyface. However, he pays the price and Borne is in the finals. Show ends with a huge upset! Benoit (sore eye and all) shocks Nord and goes to the finals. Outstanding first show. Great idea starting with a tournament. You quicky established the newcomers as well as getting Borne and Benoit over. Dibiase is without a doubt, the red hot heel here. It was also important for Woman to get TV time. Can't wait for next week!

Apache scores a huge upset and slays the monster Singh. However, Singh immediately gets her heat back. Action packed Trios match ends the show with the babyfaces standing tall. Both teams really shined here.
