Peterson proves she's a worthy champion by beating the very credible Kai. Luna puts some sizzling heat on her feud with Medusa. That beatdown was brutal. I'm loving this feud! WOW! Richter is really losing it. Combs takes advantage of, well, everything and puts Richter down. Either Richter is going to have a full on mental breakdown or somehow manage to regroup. This is one of the best storylines going.

Black Gold gets the serious momentum with that win over Orton and Miller. The heat is hotter than ever between Eddie and Barr. Severn makes it to the finals! Victory better be ready because Billy Jack is coming. Pillman once again puts up a valiant effort but you defiantly have to be at 100% to defeat Backlund. WOW! I figured Severn would make it to the finals, but Jarrett surprises me and makes it. Great story here with tag team partners in a Submission finals match. Vegas Vengeance is beyond stacked! Big Cat mows down Barr. Tenta gets his biggest Pacific win over Orton. Executing his finisher on Orton catapults Tenta to the next level. Rainbow Warriors are going to feel the Wild Bulls wrath. I'll be watching the Hart Foundation in Vegas. Grizzly is really proving his worth. DAMN! A Garvin/Finlay double punch! Rose got KO'd! Owen retains but damage is done. Like I said earlier, you have to be at 100% taking on Backlund. The Vegas odds are in Backlund's favor. OMG does the hit and Payne gets the fall on Windham. Konan looks strong heading into Vegas. Victory, quietly has a major win streak going. Badd Co's reign might be in trouble, because TDT is for real. Speaking of title reigns, will Bubba's strong TV title reign come to an end at the hands of St. Clair? Tiger and Mando probably stole the show. Classic tag match ends the night as the Midnights retain over the battle worn Owen and Pillman. . Great week! Vegas is going to be another epic Pacific event.

The Bruise Brothers will collide with Cabin Fever. Also in action will be Bob Armstrong, Wendell Cooley, Corporal Kirchner, Scott Putski, the Teamsters and of course Kevin Kelly. Fans, you saw what went down in the Dunn Center. Well, I've been told that Blackjack Mulligan will get a rematch for the world title. That match will take place in two weeks at the Monroe Civic Center in Milwaukee. On that note, coming out now is the AWA world champion Tommy Rich, along with Baby Doll. Thundering boos as Tommy comes out with his head bandaged up. Baby Doll: You're on thin ice with us Lance, so watch yourself. Lance: Alright, ok, just relax. Tommy, we all saw the footage and once again Blackjack Mulligan had you laid out with the claw. Rich: Shut up Lance! That no good cheating Mulligan did that after the bell rang! Why should he get another shot at my title? Why? He fights dirty and I don't condone that type of behavior. This title means I'm the best wrestler in the world and I should be facing top contenders, not cheating hacks like Jackass Mulligan. This is downright ludicrous! Fine! Let this be a warning to Jerry Jarrett and Jackass Mulligan. In 2 weeks, I guarantee it will be Mulligan's last match. There's no place here for people like him. Baby Doll, let's go. Putski: (pauses) You know, for weeks now, Carlos Colon and Curtis Iaukea have been going crazy and punishing a lot of young wrestlers. They claim they want competition. Well, I just can't take it anymore. If they want a match, I'll be happy to give them one. Carlos Colon! Why don't we do it on TV, next week! Putski pumps his fist to the cheering fans and exits. Britton: I know that idiot cried to Jerry Jarrett and now you will face him this weekend at the Alumni Coliseum. Yea, good luck Slater. You're a dead man walking. Ok, showtime. My guest tonight is one of my all time favorites. Please welcome out the charming and suave Gerry Morrow, along with his Top Dollar Phils. Boos as Morrow and the Phils walk out. The Phils don't look so confident. Morrow still takes time to kiss Brenda's hand. Britton: Aw Gerry, you're still my favorite. I hate to be a downer, but things haven't been looking so good for your tag team here. I know it's not your fault. I just don't want to see you stress. I mean you do have a million dollars riding on this team. I have to ask, what's the plan? Morrow: Brenda, out of de upmost respect for you, I will get right to de point. The Top Dollar Phils are no more. The Phils are shocked and waving their arms at Morrow. Britton: (eyes bugged out) What? Morrow: De bottom line is this just isn't going to work out. Ranger Ross gets a couple house show wins but comes up short against "The Natural". I'm enjoying Fleming's TV title reign. Stan Hansen remains undefeated on his Roadkill tour. The biggest win coming over Wahoo. Jason and Zodiac get a grand debut. Duggan and Ritter is one hard hitting match up. Put these guys in a feud and watch the money flow. I always liked the faces wanting 5 more minutes after a draw, only for the heels to retreat LOL. If I was in Greenville, I would've been pumped up for the Savage/Parsons main event. The newly crowned 6 man champs are in sync and gelling well. Savage retains and Liz gets a good slap on Slick. I'm pretty sure the Adorable One sent the letter and Savage is hot. Slick defiantly makes his presence known on this loop. YES! I popped for the Rhodes vs. Fuller main event. I had these two go at it a couple times last year and had a lot of fun with it. NWA is drawing!

If you want to get a crowd going, send out the Rockers. Adams is looking like a true star. That win over Budro puts him in serious contention. Rotunda has arrived. I'm into the Steiner/Grappler feud. 2 Grapplers strike again but in comes Rotunda to even things up. Soulman fires the crowd up but Kamala is in full on monster mode. Creative finish. Who can stop Kamala? Akbar's terror doesn't end as the Savages destroy the Battens. Taylor and Jimmy Jam give the fans a fun match. Thanks to the always reliable Precious, Jimmy looks pretty good putting Taylor away. Harley means business. RPMs arrive with the heat. This program will help elevate the New Breed. Spivey and Brown have a fight! Bad News for Spivey as Brown not only hits the ghetto blaster but cuts his hair as well. I think this could unleash the beast in Spivey. Ace and Zenk don't have enough to take the gold. Nasties are looking good but now have the Rockers to deal with. Solid main event that gives the fans their money's worth. Race is oh so close to winning the title but thanks to Budro, Idol once again retains. Adams saves the day and we're set for the next big main event! Windy City is fresh and exciting!

Show kicks off in high gear with Barr getting some payback on Eddie. Finlay finally has enough and quits the club. Club gets in some shots but Finlay seems to have new friends. Young Jarrett's stock rises after making Hito tap. Backlund uses the tournament snub as motivation. Poor Blackman felt the pain. If you want to pack a house in Portland, Rose vs. Hayes will do just that. Rose is falling on hard times. I think he's going to miss Finlay. Burke still has fuel in the tank as he advances to the semis. Wow, even Hart and OMG don't know who their partner will be. Very, very interesting. TDT puts an end to Bad Co's win streak and has just earned themselves a title shot. Oh man, this Barr/Eddie feud is stealing the shows. Sweet finish as Young picks up a nice win over Cactus. Victory racks up another victory. Playboy Club suffers again. Damn, what a 10 man tag match! Who would get up from a Warrior/Simmons double clothesline? A great night of action ends with an awesome cage match. I really enjoyed this feud and you put a great cap on it. Pillman comes out a star and Bubba looks invincible. The teams are tuning up for the big tournament. My man St. Clair scores another win. I'm sensing a title shot soon. Thanks to a hockey mask, the monsters put down the Harts. Still a huge win. Credit to Candido for trying but nobody gets up from the Quake. Yea, I know Sweet Stan was surprised by Douglas. RPG has his men looking good. What better way to conclude the night than with an Owen vs. Eaton match. Pacific continues to bring the heat!

The road to Crockett Cup begins! Tough guy Inc. I love it. Myers and Bass defiantly live up to the name. "Lone Star" and "Superstar" get in some good showcases. The Outlaws call out the Road Warriors! They do have a good point. I'm sure the Warriors will gladly accept the challenge. Brickhouse pumps up the crowd. Fuller sure knows how to use a loaded towel. I'm sure the Stud Stable will get a Crockett Cup invitation. Worldwide, Siva puts down Bubba. Damn, with Shaska and Conway along with Ritter and Iceman, Slick's Crockett Cup odds are pretty good. Hase shows why he's super. LOL, Adonis dedicating his win to Liz was great stuff. I'm all for a Savage/Adonis feud. MegaMan gets the beatdown by a group of monsters. Who is this mysterious group? Keep up the great work AD!

Get real use to that, because at the Dunn Center, that's exactly where you're going to end up! Commercial Break "The Beast" Rip Morgan vs. Chance Collins Morgan hits the ring swinging his chain before tossing it out. The bell rings and Morgan blasts Collins with a big boot to the face for the quick pin. Resnick: (Nervously awaits Morgan) Rip Morgan, it's you and Buzz Sawyer at the Dunn Center. This all started at Big Brawl when you interfered in the world title bout. I know Buzz is looking for payback. Morgan: (Swings his chain) Buzz Sawyer! Very realistic loop, combining spot shows with big venues. The College Gym gets a fun little card. A couple of solid tag matches, along with some lower card guys getting a chance to shine. Hmmm, I wonder what Myers wants with Bass? Albany, Ross gets a big win over Conway. Mega Man excites the crowd. Fleming continues his TV title roll with a win over the Super Rookie. The Stan Hansen Roadkill tour is going to be a lot of fun. Wild Bill goes down on stop number 1. Stud Stable are finding out how tough the Jayhawks are. Sommers might not be so pretty after that headbutt from Afi. Already Bass's luck changes with Myers in his corner. Brickhouse Brown is victim number 2. Fleming has an iron grip on the TV title. Awesome 6 man tag title match! Jaggers is one tough dude, but nobody is getting up after a Haystacks legdrop. Wahoo beats Ritter in a main event caliber match. Ole gets frustrated and uses the belt. Keeps things heated. I'll say this, Tully always finds a way to win. Tully is the type of heel champ who's going to draw. Fans will pay to see him get beat up LOL. NWA is on fire!

AWA @ The Jackson Coliseum 3-6-87 Gama Singh defeated Gene Ligon with the sleeper The Glamour Boys defeated The Teamsters- During the match, Lightning Strike appeared at ringside and distracted the Teamsters. This allowed the Glamour Boys to double dropkick Charland out of the ring, then double dropkick Huber for the win! After the match, Lightning Strike gave the Teamsters a dose of their own medicine with a beatdown. "Dynamite" DJ Peterson defeated Ricardo Santana- Santana gave DJ quite a fight but DJ managed to put Santana down with a diving shoulder tackle. The Bruise Brothers defeated The Chosen Ones- Barr and Smiley put their technical skills to work and displayed some outstanding teamwork. Bruise Brothers came back hard with some serious power moves. The end came during a pier six brawl. Bruise Brothers swung the Chosen Ones into each other, and Cameron put Barr down with a running double axehandle to the back of Barr's head. "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley w/Nelson Royal defeated Scorpio- Scorpio had the crowd rock'n and even managed to get in some good shots on Nelson. Later, Nelson managed to distract Scorpio long enough for Cooley to nail him from behind and hit the running bulldog for the win. AWA TV Title Bout Nick Busick (C) vs. Jerry "Crusher" Blackwell These guys might be AWA fan favorites, but they went at each other hard. This was a brutal hard hitting match but stayed within the rules. Each man traded slams, clotheslines, shoulder blocks. They were having a serious punch exchange, when the 10 minutes expired. After a couple of cooling down minutes, they shook hands as the fans were up and cheering. Nick Busick remains AWA TV Champ AWA International Title Bout El Canek (C) vs. Soldat Ustinov Soldat struck hard but I think he might of been preoccupied with Corporal Kirchner showing up at TV on Friday. Soldat did have his moments but then Canek came back with fire. Canek executed a variety of suplexes, before hitting a gorilla press slam followed by a standing leg drop for the win! El Canek retains the AWA International Title AWA National Tag Team Title Bout Larry Zbyszko and Al Perez (C) vs. Cabin Fever Larry pisses both the crowd and Cabin Fever off with his stalling. Him and Perez even exited the ring for more stalling. Finally, Cabin Fever had enough and went at them. Boone grabbed Perez and hurled him into the guardrail. Billy Jack is back and I'm sure wants another piece of Victory. Cactus joins the Army. A bit of guidance from Burke won't hurt. Severn is defiantly my pick to win the Submission tournament. Nice move pairing Gossett with Hughes. I love it! Hito continues to give Warrior problems. Now with Fuchi back, it's only going to get worse. Hector proves he's going to be a threat in the tournament. Mr. Backlund can make millions as a motivational speaker. That was inspiring! British Steel take advantage of things to get in a win. Fit and Easy Ed are heading for an explosion. Vancouver, Eddie pisses Barr off by beating him with his own move LOL. Hart Foundation get a big win over Orton and Miller. Fun match. Backlund's words lead the Bomb Squad to victory. Can anyone escape Steel's bearhug? Simmons and Hennig squeak out a win but I'm sure this war is far from over. Playboy is the master of the pulled tights pin. OMG gets a lot more heat with Windham. Now it's gotten physical. Kelowna, With Gossett in their corner, the Wild Bulls might be wearing gold again. Billy Jack's full nelson means defeat. Backlund leads by example by defeating another leader. Tenta shakes Hito's world. Bomb Squad aren't as lucky tonight but hey they were in there with Owen and Pillman. I'm sure the DQ loss didn't bother the Midnights. However, I'm sure the Bulls attack bothered the Rainbow Warriors. To answer the question, NO, I don't think anybody can stop Big Bubba. Great stuff this week!

Richter retains the TV title but still has a tough night ahead. Without Richter's help, the Nasty Girls say goodbye to the trios titles. Congrats to the Giant Slayers! As tough as Richter is, the Supercard and tonight's matches caught up. Combs plays a smart game and wins the dual titles! Maybe Richter needs to take a breather and regroup. I will say, it's great seeing Combs with some gold again.

And because of you, the Syndicate is no more. Kerry: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! You were the dummy who used brass knuckles and we lost because of you and that dufus Kirby. I had things under control, until you knocked me out with the brass knuckles. The way I see it, is I owe you a beating! Dream: Anytime! Anyplace babay! Kerry: Right here! Next week! Dream: Good with me! But I don't want to hear any excuses when I put you down for good this time. Massive cheers as Corporal Kirchner comes out waving the American Flag. Kirchner sets his fag down and hits the ring! Soldat swings his flag at Kirchner but Kirchner ducks and hammers away on Soldat. Soldat's against the ropes as Kirchner clotheslines him over! Soldat staggers around as Kirchner salutes the cheering crowd. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the now even more glowing "Beauty Shop" sign, then pans down to the red carpet as Brenda Britton walks down. Yoshiaki Yatsu calmly walks out and stands in the corner with his arms folded. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to the Beauty Shop relaunch! Just look at this set! My goodness! Yoshi, you look fabulous. I guarantee nobody is going to mess with me now. Ok, so I needed to make a splash this week and boy am I. My guests tonight are the Vin Man and Mr. Magnificent Kevin Kelly. Boys, come on out. Vin Man comes out smiling and wearing a fedora and Hawaiian shirt, shorts and sandles. Kelly is wearing a sparkling gold robe. They smile and bow to Yoshi. Resnick: You guys will be defending those National titles against Cabin Fever, this weekend at the Jackson Coliseum. Perez: Hold up a second. We know who were defending against but does it matter? Larry: That's correct. It doesn't matter. The AWA can send in any spudhead team they want but the results will be the same. Al and myself, walking out with the National titles. Commercial Break "Bullet" Bob Armstrong vs. Neil Flurry Armstrong gets the fans pumped up before hitting the jawbreaker for the win! Bob heads to ringside. WHAM! He's nailed from behind by RON FULLER! Fuller pounds down on Bob, picks him up and slams him headfirst into the steel post! Armstrong's laid out and bleeding. Resnick: We're going to need help! Ron Fuller! What the hell was that all about? Fuller: Well, now, it's really quite simple. Old Bob and I go way back. I like to keep tabs on old friends. A little while ago, Bob came to the AWA and helped run my brother Rob and cousin Jimmy outta here. That just doesn't fly with me. Did old Bob think he would get away with that? I think not! Rich turns around and the back of his shirt reads "Time to put Mulligan out to pasture: Rich is laughing and turns back around. Rich: Isn't that funny? That was all me! Get it? Cuz Mulligan is old and it's time Wildfire put him out of his misery. I still can't believe he's still wrestling. It's really pathetic if you think about it. I guess you can say he was pretty good when he was younger but clinging on to yesteryear is just, well, sad. Massive cheers as Blackjack Mulligan calmly walks out. Tommy is still ranting as Baby Doll frantically tries to get his attention. Tommy finally turns around and the crowd goes nuts when Mulligan clamps the claw on Tommy! Mulligan wrenches away and Tommy goes to his knees. Baby Doll gets close but Mulligan's look is enough to back her away. Tommy is completely laid out on his back! The show ends with Mulligan ripping the shirt off Tommy and throwing it on his face.

Things get going quick, as Singh and Bennett capture the tag titles! It's going to be tough getting the straps off this powerhouse team. Combs puts down Devine and wants a title shot. The odds are against Richter winning the world title after that match with Medusa. Luna better be ready for Medusa's wrath! Velvet's woes continue as Mitchell's stock rises. Can't say Richter isn't tough. She gives Moretti one heck of a fight but the previous injuries catch up. Moretti retains! Another outstanding Supercard. WWW is bringing the heat!

Ladd might be on a 6 month vacation soon but maybe not with Brody fighting for him. Prichard as a Freebird fits so well. I wonder who RnR is bringing in? Aloha! What better way to kick off the show than a Rainbow Warriors victory. Oh snap! Billy Jack is back in Pacific! Venomous Jack spoils his return but I'm sure things are just getting started. US Steel finally gets that long awaited pin on Orton. Damn, TDT put down the Sheepherders with an epic finisher. OMG outfights the Man with the Hands of Stone. After that win, big things are coming for OMG. I absolutely loved that booking of Hito getting a c.o. win over Dingo. Classic case of the ring veteran using his experience over a wild youngster. Black Gold rise the rankings. However, Pacific has a star in the making with Eddie. Nothing solved between Red and Grizzly but hey, I'm all for more of these guys tearing into each other. Badd Co. is the comeback story of the year! NEW LHW CHAMP!!!! Black Tiger is an awesome choice and people will pay to watch his exciting title defenses. I can't overlook Candido's solid reign. Pillman gives Bubba a big time scare, but thanks to Cornette, Bubba retains. I'm enjoying Bubba's reign. Night 2, Miller is the deciding factor as he gets the pin on Cactus. Burke will be a great mentor to help guide Cactus. Tenta is for real! Just ask Easy Ed. Barr tried and put up a game effort but Backlund's experience was just to much to handle. I would've paid to watch the Harts vs. Guerreros alone. Harts win in a thriller. St. Clair racks up another win. Oh man, I would love to see a St. Clair/Backlund classic. Konnan goes down to Finlay but afterwards Finlay helps him back up. Wild tag team action, that ends in a no contest. Simmons and Payne are heading for a brutal one on one. Rose knows all the tricks and pulls one out to put down rival, Rip Oliver. I was looking forward to the Owen/Young match and these two delivered. Owen barely pulls it out but Young shows he's for real. Great match! Nail biting 2 out of 3 falls tag title bout that kept the fans on the edge of their seats. Midnight's retain! Cornette and his men are dominating Pacific. I have a feeling Severn wants a piece of the upcoming submission title. After 2 action packed nights of action, Windham and TNT go at it for the Pacific title. Very creative and crowd pleasing finish. Windham once again stands tall. Wait! Hold on! OMG makes his presence known. Can Windham stop what's coming? Awesome job! I always look forward to your Spectaculars.

TV champ Mark Fleming had an outstanding week by retaining over Afi, Yamada and Adias! Props to you for making Fleming a big time player. Shaska and Conway are back on top! These guys have been a game favorite. Duggan wins the battle royal but comes up just a bit short against Tully. Andersons retain against Good & Plenty. LOL, I wonder if they could do that double gordbuster to Candy? Red Tide almost cause a riot! They might be in big trouble when the Road Warriors come looking for payback. Radiance scores a huge upset over the Jayhawks. This might have earned them a title shot. Dusty vs. Arn was always solid. MegaMan gets his chance to shine but once again Tully comes out on top. Great week as new US champs are crowned, Fleming is solidified as a true champ, hot feud started between Road Warriors and Red Tide. And Tully continues to have an iron grip on his title.

Great go home show. Richter welcomes Trudy to WWW. Singh and Bennet squeak out a victory but it's enough for a tag title shot. Hot main event as Medusa scores the big fall on Richter. This could throw Richter off a bit at the Supercard, but I think it's only going to piss her off more. The Supercard is going to be explosive!
