USWA TV @ The Knoxville Convention Center 3-12-86 Show opens with footage from the Freedom Hall as Dick Slater returns to the ring. Lance Russell: Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA network. I'm sure you all have heard by now and if you haven't, I'll announce it again. Our next big closed circuit event, the Happening will now take place on Friday, March 26th. The good news is, we only have to wait two weeks for that tremendous event. On that note, USWA Champ Terry Funk will be here tonight as well as his Happening challenger, Dusty Rhodes. A lot of action tonight including Carlos Colon vs. Mark Lewin with Curtis Iaukea in his corner. You will... Boos as Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll come out. Tully: What the hell is going on around here? That dirt bag Dick Slater shows up at the Freedom Hall and that stooge Jerry Jarrett is ok with it? Dick Slater wasn't medically cleared so in my opinion he should be suspended from the USWA. Oh but no, he's one of Jarrett's golden boys. I want Jarrett to know my personal team of lawyers are launching an investigation into his corrupt politics. You're done Jarrett! You hear me? Done! Cheers as Jerry Jarrett comes out smiling. Jarrett: First off Tully Blanchard, Dick Slater was medically cleared. Turns out he was a week ahead of schedule as he responded well to the physical therapy. Don't forget Tully, it was you who attacked him like a coward in the training room and it was you who forced him to vacate the Mid America title. You'll be in that cage at the Happening but why should we all wait for that? I've decided that tonight's main event will be Dick Slater versus you Tully Blanchard! Tell your lawyers to look into that! Jarrett leaves as Tully throws a tantrum while Baby Doll tries to calm him down. Lance: Ok, big main event set for tonight. Fans, let's get to the ring. Hart's Afire vs. Clinton Stitch and Sam Smith Hart's use a lot of technical maneuvers while throwing in a lot of cheap heeling. Keith executes a backbreaker on Smith then tags in Bruce. Bruce applies the Boston Crab and it's all over. Harts cut a promo on their Happening opponents Adrenaline Rush. They say they are nothing but boys trying to make it in a man's world. At the Happening they will show Adrenaline Rush why their wrestling skills separates the men from the boys. Commercial Break Bob Roop vs. Todd Rooney Roop works his opponent over pretty good before finishing him off with the running shoulder breaker. Lance: Ok, Bob Roop looking pretty sharp as he tunes up for his match with Kevin Kelly at the Happening. Speaking of the Happening, on that night you will see a special international match between TV champ Tony St. Clair and UWA Mexican Champ El Canek. I want to show you some highlights of El Canek in action and then we'll hear from Les Thornton and Tony St. Clair. Samba Pa Ti by Santana plays as highlights are shown of El Canek in action. Canek uses a variety of moves including body slamming huge men, Argentine backbreaker rack, spinning leg lariat, bow and arrow hold and his Gorilla press drop. Footage ends with Canek standing in the middle of the ring holding his UWA title up. Lance: I'm here with TV champ Tony St. Clair and his manager Les Thornton. You gentlemen have got to be impressed with what you just saw. I'm sure you're in serious preparations for that international star. Les: Anything else you would like to add? You truly make me sick. Tony St. Clair has held this TV title for almost a year. That's unheard of! Yet, we come out here and you sing praises to El Canek. I'll tell you what Lance. How about we really see just who is the superior wrestler at the Happening. Lance: What exactly do you mean? Les: Real simple. El Canek puts his UWA title on the line and Tony St. Clair puts his TV title on the line. I want Mexico to know what Europe and the United States already knows and that Mr. St. Clair is simple the best. Tony, I have to ask you a question. After you beat El Canek and win his title, do you have enough space in your trophy room to showcase it? Tony: (Laughs then stops to contemplate that) Not yet but I'll make the necessary renovations. Les waves the UK flag as Tony holds up his TV title to the booing fans. Commercial Break The South Pacific Connection (Siva Afi and Cocoa Samoa) vs. Neil Jurgens and Davey Klein SPC double chop Jurgens out of the ring. They double slam Klein, then hop on opposite corner middle turnbuckles and crash down with stereo diving headbutts for the win. Lance: Ok, South Pacific Connection, come on over here. At the Happening, you will be wrestling Ox Baker's Beasts of Burden for the vacated Central States tag team titles. Boos as Ox Baker comes out. Lance: Easy Ox, I don't want any trouble. Ox: Shut up Lance! Do you see my team out here with me? I'm not out here to start trouble. I'm out here to give these savages a simple message. You two don't stand a chance against my Beasts. They're hungry! They have desire! They've been on a path of destruction and nothing can stop them. You two are just in the way. I'm here to say GET OUT OF OUR WAY! Ox walks away leaving his ominous words behind. Cocoa: He talks like we've never been in fights before. Ox Baker! Siva and I have been in wars in the ring, spilt blood in the ring, so brother bring your beasts. Siva: Because we'll be waiting! Commercial Break Carlos Colon vs. "Maniac" Mark Lewin w/Curtis Iaukea Lewin and Iaukea attack at the bell. The Ref threatens Iaukea with a DQ and Iaukea calmly exits. Lewin is all over Colon with kicks, stomps and a lot of choking. Lewin swings Colon to the ropes and clotheslines him down, swings off the ropes and hits a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Lewin distracts the Ref as Iaukea chokes Colon. Iaukea holds Colon. Lewin charges but Colon elbows Iaukea and moves as Lewin nails Iaukea, sending him flying off the apron. Colon fires up and unloads on Lewin, swings him to the ropes and back drops him. Lewin staggers up and Colon scoop slams him. Colon goes to the top rope. Lewin staggers up and Colon nails him with a flying clothesline 1..2..NO! KENDO NAGASAKI hits the ring and nails Colon with his kendo stick! The Ref signals for the DQ. Iaukea makes a signal and out comes KAMALA! Kendo smacks Colon with the kendo stick as Lewin stomps on Colon. Kamala is ready to hit the big splash but BILLY JACK STRONG and THE STOMPER run in with fists flying! It's an all out brawl into the commercial. Commercial Break Lance: My goodness. Stomper and Strong are helping Colon over here. I hope all this gets resolved at the Happening when those 6 men will meet in an elimination cage match. Colon: (shaking the cob webs) Iaukea! Kamala! Lewin! Nagasaki! You started a war and we intend on winning it! At the Happening it will be a battle of survival. Just look at us! We are fit and ready for war. We promise, Iaukea and his monsters will be eliminated and gone! Lance: A very intense Carlos Colon. This certainly has been a war between those two groups and only one team will survive at the Happening. Back to the ring. The Super Destroyer w/Paul Jones vs. Todd Rooney Jones shouts out words of encouragement as Super D dismantles his opponent. Super D finally puts him out of his misery with the Superplex! Jones leads Super D to the podium. Jones: Tick tock, tick tock. Only two more weeks until I get to relish in seeing my Super Destroyer beat down and defeat the Spoiler. And then I will take the upmost satisfaction and pleasure of ripping that mask off and exposing that ugly face of his. It's his turn to be embarrassed and embarrassed he will be! Lance, I can't wait! Oh I can't wait! Jones walks away as Super D bumps Lance's shoulder on the way out. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink neon 'Beauty Shop' sign then pans down on Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome once again to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. Now, there's no way I can top last week's show. After all, I was in the presence of the one and only true King of professional wrestling Roy Lee Welch. However, I do have a pretty big announcement to make. At the Happening, yours truly has been asked to be the special ring announcer for the USWA world championship bout between Terry Funk and Dusty Rhodes. That's right! You all get to hear me! I just hope I don't overshadow the match. Anyways, my guest tonight is a pretty big deal himself but I think his title is in serious jeopardy at the happening. Please welcome out the Mid America Champ, Rocky Johnson. Big pop as Johnson comes out with jeans, a tank top, gold chain and the title on his shoulder. Britton: Welcome champ, (looks him up and down) I will admit, you are pretty well put together. But, at the happening, you'll be facing the ever so classy Champagne Gerry Morrow. He's a good friend of mine you know. Johnson: Sorry to hear that Brenda. Britton: Hey, that's not nice. Just what's your problem with him anyway? Right now he's at the hospital visiting his best friend Carl Fergie. That makes him a good man in my book. Johnson: Trust me, he's no man. This all started with that cowardly and vicious attack he did on my good friend George Wells. By the way, Carl Fergie was involved in that as well. George just got out of the hospital and now Fergie is feeling what it's like. Sounds like bad karma to me. Britton: You're just mean. Johnson: Just giv'n it to you straight. Britton: You may have defeated Gerry to get that title but at the Happening I think he's going to win it. Johnson: Well he sure can come and try. I'm looking forward to it. We have unfinished business and rest assured I'm going to finish it at the Happening! The fans cheer as Johnson holds up his title before exiting. Britton: Oh he's so arrogant. I can't wait until Gerry beats him and then I'll have him on my show for a toast. I know he won't want to toast with that square Lance Russell. Until next week tooooodles. Commercial Break Curt Hennig vs. Vic Dutro Hennig puts Dutro down with a beautiful high dropkick. Hennig picks up Dutro and executes a bridging cradle suplex for the win. Lance: Another impressive win for Curt Hennig. Curt, it's you and Greg Gagne at the Happening. For some reason he's taken issue with you being a second generation star. Hennig: I don't know what his deal is and why he has issues with his father. Hey, I'm proud of being the son of Larry the Axe Hennig. I'm just hoping I can live up to the name. As for Gagne. He can keep talking but at the Happening I'll be doing my talking in the ring. Gagne, you better be focused buddy. Commercial Break Bodacious w/Vin Man vs. Willie Lopez and Trent Watkins Vinnie is having a great time as his team works over their opponents. Every time they hit a devastating maneuver, he looks at the camera, winks and smiles. Sommers and Donovan finish things off with a double hot shot for the win. Kevin Kelly joins them at the podium. Vin: Can you feel it Lancey? Lance: (rolls his eyes) What might that be? Vin: (deep breath) Sweet victory is upon us. You go first Kev. Kevin: I saw Bob Bloop out here earlier. I'm sure he's sucking oxygen in the back right now. Everybody laughs. Vin: Bloop is next up on Kev's list. Everybody on that list is gone courtesy of Mr. Magnificent. NOW! I hope the Clown Brothers have those USWA titles shined up nice for my team of Bodacious. Lancey, wont those titles look soooooooo good around Chick and Doug's waists? It's meant to be. Bodacious has the look, the moves, the charisma and the soul to get it done, something those clown brothers are very very very short of. Come on guys, group hug. Not you Lance. They all laugh and have a group hug as the fans boo. Commercial Break "Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs. Tully Blanchard w/Baby Doll The bell rings as Slater slides in. Tully runs out of the ring. Slater goes out after him but Tully puts Baby Doll between them. Baby Doll is yelling at Slater, Tully tries to cheap shot Slater but Slater blocks it and pounds away on Tully. Slater slams Tully's head on the apron and hurls him back in the ring. Slater swings Tully to the ropes and puts him down with a big right punch, then follows with a well targeted fist drop 1..2..Tully gets his shoulder up. Slater grabs Tully by his hair and just punches away. Slater swings Tully into the corner and follows with a running forearm blast. Slater hops on the turnbuckles and the fans count along as Slater punches him 10 times. Slater hops down as Tully slowly walks forward and drops. Slater hoists Tully up for a vertical suplex but Baby Doll reaches in and trips Slater. Both men crumble down. Slater staggers up, goes to the ropes and warns Baby Doll. Baby Doll yells and distracts Slater as Tully regroups. Tully charges and nails Slater with a high knee to the back. Tully shakes the cobwebs, grabs the top rope and drops several knees on Slater. Tully vertical suplexes Slater and follows with several consecutive elbow drops 1..2..Kick Out. Tully hoists Slater up and atomic drops him into the corner. Slater hits the turnbuckles and staggers into a back suplex by Tully 1..2..Slater gets his shoulder up. Tully and Baby Doll berate the Ref. Tully slams Slater by the ropes then swings off the opposite ropes and baseball slides Slater out of the ring. Tully distracts the Ref as Baby Doll rakes Slater's eyes. Tully goes out to the apron and waits. Slater slowly rises, Tully leaps off going for a double axehandle but Slater flips him over with a punch to the gut! The fans fire Slater up. Slater grabs Tully and slams him on the concrete! Slater picks up Tully by his hair and hurls him into the ring. Slater goes to the top rope. Tully slowly rises and Slater puts him down with a double axehandle. Slater picks up Tully and hits his swinging neckbreaker 1..2..WAIT! RON and ROB FULLER hit the ring and put the boots to Slater. Once again we get a DQ. Jimmy Golden comes out on crutches and cheers his guys on. Fullers grab Slater and choke him at the ropes. Golden whacks Slater with his crutch! MEGA POP! As the FABULOUS ONES run out! They push Golden over and hit the ring with fists flying! Another fight into the commercial. Commercial Break Lance: Another volatile situation. Now I know why Jarrett put together 2 cage matches for the Happening. Ok, here they come, Tully Blanchard and the Stud Stable. You guys better be ready for that steel cage, taped fist tornado match. You wont be able to count on Baby Doll or Jimmy Golden's crutches. ROB: Now you just hold on there Lance Russell. You're looking at civilized men. Did you just see what those animals did to cousin Jimmy. Very uncivilized. Ron: Tell em Rob. Fabulous Nones, you boys are in a lot of trouble. Come the Happening, you're going to find out just what a fight is. Tully, we told you we got your back, so let's take them down. Tully: Ron, I couldn't of asked for better partners. Dick Slater! You've been nothing but a pain since I got here. You're not as tough as you think you are. My taped fists will be red with your blood! Lance: Tensions are on the rise as we head into the Happening. I'll be talking with Dusty Rhodes when we come back. Commercial Break Lance: Ok, please welcome out the man who will be facing Terry Funk for the USWA world title at the Happening, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. The fans are up and cheering as Dusty comes out in jeans, boots, T-Shirt and cowboy hat. WHAM! He's nailed from behind by TERRY FUNK! Terry's in jeans, western shirt and boots. He puts those boots to work as he stomps on Dusty. Terry is screaming "PIG!" as he picks up Dusty and hurls him in the ring. Terry swings Dusty to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Dusty swings back and puts Terry down with a clothesline. Dusty is pissed as he tears his shirt off. Terry staggers up and Dusty unloads with fists, then spins them and puts Terry down with a bionic elbow. Terry rolls out of the ring. Dusty goes out after him, grabs him and rips the shirt off his back. Terry is in a daze as Dusty hurls him back in the ring. Dusty goes up to Terry but Terry lowblows him, then rakes his eyes. Terry uses the ropes to help himself up. Terry takes off his boot and whacks Dusty over his head. Dusty falls back and under the ropes to the outside. Terry is pacing around the ring like a madman. Dusty is on the ground but he's taking off his own boot. Terry goes out to the apron and jumps off with another boot shot but Dusty hits him with his boot first. Funk is on his knees as Dusty whacks him across the face with his boot. Finally a swarm of wrestlers come out to stop this. The show ends with both men bleeding and wanting more. Miller is proving to be one tough customer in Pacific. Adams now has a personal vendetta with Steamboat as this feud heats up. I wonder what Morton's deal is with Douglas? I'm a big fan of Badd Co. but man I really love the team of Atlas and Cameron. Iron & Steel get the win tonight but I think we're going to get another showdown. Wild Bulls get a big test with the Guerreros. A lot of teams will be gunning for the champs. The heat is on. Looks like Gilbert puts an end to his hot feud with Adams. However, Muta is next. This is going to be awesome. Hansen is back on a path of destruction. Watch out! Midnight's rebound from their Badd Co. loss and put down the Thundercats. Easy Ed's loyal friend Buddy Rose helps him out but Busick gets some help from good ol Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Busick and Duggan would be one hard hitting alliance. Smothers gets his first successful title defense. Nice finish. Bam Bam proves his TV title win wasn't a fluke as he takes down former champ Orton.

USWA Breaking News Lance Russell: Hello everybody, Lance Russell here with a special announcement. Due to a last minute NBA schedule change, the USWA's next big close circuit event, The Happening will now take place on Friday March 26th at the Market Square Arena. Everything has been worked out and finalized. On that night you will see Terry Funk defend the USWA World title against The American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Once again that's Friday March 26th. I look forward to seeing you there.

Love the pictures. Mean Mike Miller has arrived and lives up to his moniker. Gator and the Mega Man! Sounds like a classic 80s TV buddy show. New stars always emerge from the Brigade. A pissed off Hansen is a very dangerous Hansen. Can't wait for him and Busick to lock horns. Candido and Douglas go at it in a battle of the youngsters match. Wait a minute! Todd Morton is back and attacks Douglas! What's going on??? Bam Bam takes down the last man standing and wins the TV title! I enjoyed Orton's TV title reign but now it's Bam Bam's turn to shine. Yet another new chapter begins in Pacific.

USWA @ The Kentucky Freedom Hall 3-6-86 Kansas Jayhawks vs. Two Local Talents Jayhawks get the crowd going by winning the match with a double clothesline. "The Great" Gagne w/Bodyguard Duker vs. Bob Roop Roop wins the match by DQ after Duke nails Roop with a loaded forearm smash right in front of the Ref. The Stomper vs. Kamala w/Curtis Iaukea Stomper put a beating on Kamala but in the end, Iaukea hits Stomper with a kendo stick and Kamala puts him down with a double thrust shot for the pin. The South Pacific Connection vs. The Beasts of Burden w/Ox Baker These two teams will meet at the Happening for the Central States tag titles. This match was signed before that announcement, so the fans in attendance get a preview. Well if their match at the Happening is anything like this one, then it's going to get wild. They battle to a chaotic 10 minute draw and keep on fighting long after the bell rings. Carlos Colon vs. "Maniac" Mark Lewin w/Curtis Iaukea Speaking of chaos, that's exactly what we get here. It's nothing but a non stop brawl. Once again Iaukea tries to get involved but this time it backfires as Colon pushes Lewin into him, sending him flying off the apron. Colon rolls up Lewin for the pin! Kamala hits the ring but Stomper is on it. Stomper gets some payback on Iaukea and plows right over him as he goes after Kamala. Post match brawl ensues. Curt Hennig vs. Keith Hart Good technical bout but Hart gets in some cheap shots and heel tactics. Hart goes for a suplex but Hennig blocks it and hits a bridging cradle suplex for the win. After the match, Gagne and Duker come to ringside and taunt Hennig. Hennig invites Gagne in the ring but Gagne smirks and walks away. USWA Champ Terry Funk/Tully Blanchard/Super Destroyer and the Fullers w/Baby Doll, Paul Jones and Jimmy Golden (on crutches) vs. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes/The Spoiler/The Fabulous Ones and ??? Everybody is in the ring. The heels are wondering who this mystery partner is. The fans go bonkers as DICK SLATER runs into the ring and blasts away on Tully! The Ref says the heck with it and signals for the bell. The first few minutes is a fight! Dusty and Funk are trading blows. Spoiler and Super D are fighting in the corner. The Fabs and Fullers are brawling around the ring. Slater has Tully down and is unloading on him. Jimmy Golden tries to hit Lane with his crutch but Keirn runs over and Jimmy falls backwards and on the ground. Paul Jones jumps on the apron but Spoiler knocks him off. During all the chaos Baby Doll scratches Slater across his face, then pulls Tully out of the ring. Things get somewhat restored and we get a back and forth fight for the next 30 minutes. Everybody gets in theirs. At the 45 minute mark another wild melee happens and everybody is brawling again. Tully tries to run up the aisle but Slater catches him and hurls him into the guard railing. Dusty clotheslines Funk over the top rope but the momentum carries both men over. On the outside, Jones finally gets a shot in on the Spoiler with his cane, allowing Super D to stomp away on him. Keirn and Rob Fuller are fighting in the corner. Lane hoists Ron Fuller up for a suplex but Jimmy Golden hits Lane's knee with his crutch. Fuller falls on top as the Ref runs over and counts 1..2..3! Post match fight continues. Slater keeps pounding away on Tully's bloody head. Super D body slams Spoiler on the concrete. Fullers get out of there as the Fabs regroup. Dusty and Funk fight up the aisle.

RPG cracked me up by questioning Bock's tournament wins because he wasn't there to see them. Tim Horner looks to be the top ranked contender for the Jr. title. We see a different side to Landel tonight as he's serious and focused in the middle of all that tension between the Platinum club. Nothing gets a monster over more than a squash handicap match. Goliath isn't playing around. Bock is one smooth dude. Calm and focused. Always loved that picture. A true class act. Gauntlet match for the new USA network TV title. Oh yea, I'm tuning in next week! Not only that but Mulligan and Khan in a bunkhouse match. YES! Young Jarrett wins his debut. It's a good thing he's got Street and Dundee watching his back. Senor Dinero! Love it! I'm expecting big things from the Starr Corporation. He's defiantly got the funding now. Looks like RPG was eating well. An uneasy win for the Platinum Club. I feel Borne is going to snap at any moment. Awesome cage match to blow off one hard hitting feud. It was a good run but it looks like Humperdink is officially done with the Moondogs. Embry gets to be the top comedian tonight. "The one minute manager" "The exceptional intellectual" LOL that's great stuff. Bock and Landel give the fans a great match as they battle for the Continental title. Chaos ensues and major screw ups follow. Everything backfires on the Platinum Club and Bock is the new Continental Champ! I can't wait to see how Landel reacts to all this. It's nice to see greats like Harley Race and Bockwinkel doing so well in this game. Even though they're getting up there, they could still go in 86. I'm sure the USA network is very pleased with the addition of Continental and Texas.

Texas tag champs Tatum and Victory along with Dark Journey gets things going quick. They demand respect and challenge DVE tournament winners Bass and Bart.! WOW! New champs!!!! Hell of a way to kick off the show! Bass and Bart holding the tag gold and Irwin as reigning TV champ. Yea, the Wild Bunch are having one spectacular run. I wonder how Tatum and Victory will react? Good to see DJ Peterson back in the game. I think a lot of people like him and are looking forward to a good push. The time has come! After weeks of hype it's now time for the anticipated debut of Luscious! Fantastic segment. We get a couple teases with AOD and Woman before none other than Luscious Lanny Poffo comes out. The way he made Lowrance uncomfortable was hilarious. Lanny always had a way with words and he put them to good use tonight. He follows all that with an impressive in ring debut. This was so well done and so worth the wait. I wonder if Roy Lee Welch was watching LOL. That picture really summed up his character here. This gimmick is going to draw massive Texas heat. Only on this show would the Fiesta Garden bring back normalcy LOL. The conversation between Al and Percy was solid heel work. They really tore apart the Texas fans. The visual of them laughing together was good stuff. I'm all for a Irwin/Oliver TV title program. Oliver looks more than ready for Irwin as he lives up to the "Crippler" name. Oliver was another one of those guys who were criminally underrated. I could see him having a Portland like heel run here. Casey defending his Texas title against El Jefe! Talk about a main event! Great back and forth match. Casey is on the verge of winning until the no good Cartel spoils everything. But wait, here comes Mantell! USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 3-5-86 Show opens with an advertisement of the upcoming closed circuit event, The Happening. That's followed by Jerry Jarrett standing in front of a USWA banner. Jarrett: Hello wrestling fans. I can't tell you how excited I am for the Happening. That event will take place on April 2nd at the Market Square Arena. Throughout tonight's program Lance and I will be announcing more exciting matches. I just couldn't wait to make this announcement. At the Happening, Terry Funk will defend the USWA world title against The American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Both men will be here live next week. But right now we have some pre recorded comments from both men. Dusty: Terry Funk! I told you we had unfinished business. It seems like we always have unfinished business. At the Happening, I'm looking to finally take care of business if you will. It's you and me, one more time but this time I'm walk'n away with that USWA world title baby! Funk: Dusty Rhodes! You're a sickness that wont go away! No matter where I go, you follow me. You're nothing but an egg suck'n dog! You know what I do with an egg suck'n dog? I put it down! That's exactly what I'm going to do at the happening. You're just pathetic! There's no way in hell your taking this here title from me. I will be counting down the days until I finally put that sickness which is you out of my mind forever! Lance: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA network. Well you heard the big news, Terry Funk will defend the USWA title against Dusty Rhodes at the Happening. Jerry will be out here later for another huge announcement. Big show lined up tonight. Billy Jack Strong will take on Kendo Nagasaki. Steve Keirn takes on Rob Fuller. The Spoiler will go one on one with the Super Destroyer. I've been told they will also meet at the Happening but couldn't wait until then. Also tonight, the real King of wrestling will supposedly make his debut on the Beauty Shop. All that and so much more. Let's go to the ring for the debut of a new tag team. Adrenaline Rush (Ben Bassarab and George Takano) vs. Sam Smith and Trent Watkins Bassarab and Takano come out wearing matching neon green knee length wrestling pants and green high top wrestling shoes. It's all high flying offense. Takano executes a inverted piledriver on Smith, then tags in Bassarab. Bassarab hits a flying leg drop from the top rope for the exciting win. Cheers as they head to the podium. Lance: Congratulations on your win. Boy, the name Adrenaline Rush really suits you. How did you guys connect? Bassarab: Well Lance, my former partner Scott Doring wanted to try some other things and decided to leave the territory. I wanted to continue my quest for some tag team gold. I called up my old friend George Takano and Adrenaline Rush was born. We were told earlier that we'll be facing Harts Afire at the Happening. You can bet we'll be pumped up for that match. Commercial Break Steve Keirn w/Stan Lane vs. Rob Fuller w/Jimmy Golden Before the match, Rob Fuller and Jimmy Golden go to the podium. Jimmy is on crutches. Golden: Look what those animals did to my leg! Both will pay! I guran damn tee it! Rob: Like they say, an eye for an eye Lance Rob gets in the ring. The fans go crazy as Keirn slides into the ring and the fight is on. Fists are flying as they hammer away on each other. Keirn gets the upper hand, swings Rob to the ropes and back drops him. Rob staggers up and Keirn dropkicks him down. Rob rolls out of the ring. Jimmy is yelling over at Lane. Booooos as RON FULLER runs out and blasts Lane from behind with a chair! Keirn goes out but Rob grabs one of Jimmy's crutches and blasts Keirn with it! The bell is ringing but the Fullers continue their assault. Several officials run out. The Fullers get in a few more stomps before leaving. Commercial Break Lance: Well, the Fabulous Ones were pretty battered and had to be helped out. Yea, ok, here they come. Ron Fuller, I hope you, Rob and Jimmy are real proud of yourselves. Ron: Hold on Lance. My brother Rob told you this was going to be an eye for an eye. Look at Jimmy's leg! What just happened was some good old fashion southern justice. Rob: Ha Ha Ha! Southern Fuller justice indeed. The Stud Stable exits. Lance: (shaking his head) Back to the ring. Mid-America Champ "Soul Man" Rocky Johnson vs. Gary Williams Johnson nails Williams with several lighting quick jabs then puts him down with a big punch. Williams slowly rises and Johnson hits a sunset flip for the win! Lance: Rocky, come on over. It's now official. At the Happening, you will be defending the Mid America title against Gerry Morrow. Johnson: Oh Lance, that's ok with me brother! I still have some thumping to do on Morrow's head and I couldn't think of a better place than at the Happening. I get to put a beating on Morrow in front of millions of viewers. Gerry Morrow, I'm going to enjoy every bit of that! See ya there chump! Commercial Break "The Great" Gagne w/Bodyguard Duker vs. Todd Rooney Gagne just toys with his opponent. Duker even gets a forearm blast in for the fun of it. Gagne swings Rooney to the ropes and hits a high dropkick for the win. Gagne cuts a promo on his upcoming match with Curt Hennig at the Happening. He says Curt was coddled by his father and is nothing but a little Daddy's boy. Commercial Break Billy Jack Strong vs. Kendo Nagasaki w/Curtis Iaukea Kendo attacks at the bell and works over Strong with several thrusts, chops, kicks and chokeholds. Kendo swings Strong to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Strong kicks him. Strong regroups. Kendo staggers up, Strong grabs him and executes an overhead German Suplex. Strong picks up Kendo and hits a delayed vertical suplex. Strong swings off the ropes but Iaukea nails Strong with a kendo stick shot to the back! The Ref signals for the DQ. Kendo staggers up. Iaukea tosses him the kendo stick. Kendo hits Strong several times with the stick. Kendo hops on the middle ropes. Iaukea runs in, picks up Strong and holds him while Kendo crashes down with a kendo stick shot to the head! They exit and leave behind a bloody Steve Strong. Commercial Break USWA Tag Team Champs The Bruise Brothers vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez "Boogie Fever" blasts over the speakers and the fans know what that means. Mega pop as the champs head down the aisle. Bruise Brothers are on fire tonight. Cash tags in Snowman. Cash hits Lopez with a jumping headbutt. Lopez spins around, Snowman hoists him up and hits a running powerslam for the win! Cheers as they head to the podium. Lance: Alright, you guys will be defending against Bodacious at the Happening. I'm sure you heard Vinnie's comments last week. Cash: We heard them alright. You know Lance, the Bruise Brothers love to have a great time. We have a lot of fun and we like to get down. But make no mistake about it, when that bell rings we're all business. Snowman: Bodacious, we hope you know what you're getting yourselves into. Vinnie talked a big game and says you boys are taking home the gold. Yea, great plan until that bell rings. Then it's all Bruise Brothers! Count on it! Cash and Snowman high five and hold the titles up to the cheering fans. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign then pans down to Brenda Britton. Brenda is standing at the end of a long red carpet. Brenda is smiling and wearing an elegant dress. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to the number one rated segment in wrestling the Beauty Shop. Can you feel the excitement? I sure can. I couldn't sleep at all this week. Look at this dress! Don't I wear it well. I had to look my best because tonight, myself and all of you will be in the presence of a King. Not just any King but the true King of professional wrestling. Just a reminder, I did what nobody in the USWA could do. I booked the King on my show! I know you all are dying to meet him. Now, I want to tell all these ingrates out here that the King deserves respect. From them, the USWA and all the wrestlers. I'm a King and I deserve it. They should all be bowing down to me. They should be thanking me as well. There once was an imposter walking around here claiming to be a King. I'm talking about that phony Jerry Lawler. These idiots cheered that so called King and where is he now? Gone! So I've come here to show the wrestling world what a true King is all about. Welch grabs her hand and once again kisses it before walking back up the red carpet. Welch stops and spins around slowly before walking through the curtain. On that note, tooooodles. Commercial Break "Champagne" Gerry Morrow vs. Clinton Stitch Morrow seems a bit distraught tonight then starts to get really aggressive. He executes a hangman's neckbreaker then picks up Stitch and drops him with a fall away DDT for the win. Morrow picks up Stitch and drops him with another fall away DDT. Morrow puts his Billionaire's title on his shoulder and heads to the podium. Morrow: Lance, right now you would think I would be ecstatic about getting to beat up Poorman Johnson at de Happening. However, I'm sure you heard de bad news. My best friend Carl Fergie is going through most difficult times. He was swindled out of his fortunes, was severely beaten up and is now in de hospital. Carl, do not worry, your medical bills will be taken care of. I have to go visit him. That's what friends do. Something you know nothing about. Lance: Um..ah..ok, we'll be right back. Dutch: That's right! It feels so good to be back and you can bet we're coming after the titles! Lance: Well, with your resume, I'm sure you'll get that opportunity very soon. BOOOOS as KARACHI VICE comes out Makhan: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! What makes you two so special that you can walk right in and demand a title shot? Gama: Brother Makhan is right! You have done nothing to earn it. Karachi Vice held the titles for 9 months! We are the ones who deserve the shot...not you! Lance: Relax gentlemen. Just take it easy. Lance jumps back as Karachi Vice attacks the Jayhawks! Fists are flying as the 4 men fight all around the podium! Security runs out to contain things as a commercial hits. Commercial Break Lance: My goodness, that was explosive. I understand Jerry Jarrett will be out here in a moment. While we're waiting for him, I want to show you some footage from the big press conference earlier this week to hype up the huge international match at the Happening between TV Champ Tony St. Clair and the Mexican UWA champ El Canek. Reporters are in the audience taking pictures and asking questions. Up front, behind a long table, sits several officials, promoters and Les Thornton. St. Clair sits with his TV title in front of him. Canek is sitting behind his UWA title. An official is saying this will be a very special international match between 2 dominant champions. Neither title will be on the line. Canek and St. Clair talk about the match, then Les Thornton speaks. Les: Tony and myself have the upmost respect for El Canek. Canek is very well known throughout the wrestling world. With his tremendous credentials and accomplishments, this will no doubt be the greatest victory for Tony St. Clair. Canek is gifted but he's no match for Mr. St. Clair. That draws some boos. Canek even stands up. Which brings St. Clair up. Officials separate them. Les: We came here for a friendly press conference to promote this great match and this man is already resorting to violence. Don't worry, you will get your wish. Just remember one thing, you're stepping into the ring with a man who is simply the best. Not that he has anything left to prove, but Mr. St. Clair will soundly defeat this man. El Canek is truly talented but his skills pale in comparison to Mr. St. Clair. That will be all. Good day. Commercial Break Lance: Ok, I'm with Jerry Jarrett. Jerry go ahead. Jarrett: Lance, I've seen enough. Things have got to be resolved! First up, at the Happening, the Kansas Jayhawks will meet Karachi Vice. They wanted a match, well they got one. Next up, also at the Happening, Carlos Colon, The Stomper and Billy Jack Strong will take on Kamala, Mark Lewin and Kendo Nagasaki in a 6-Man Steel Cage elimination match! That's right, it will be survival of the fittest. Before I announce the next match, I want Tully Blanchard to get out here and now. Boos as Tully and Baby Doll steadily walk to the podium. Tully: Jarrett, let's get one thing straight. Don't ever threaten me again. You got that? It's not my fault Dick Slater is to weak to be in this business. It's not my fault he couldn't hack it and had to vacate his Mid America title. The man should just stay home. He isn't cut out for this. Jarrett: Well, I've spoken to Dick Slater and we came to an agreement. I think you'll want to hear this announcement. At the Happening, there will be another steel cage match. Only this one will be a taped fist, tornado street fight cage match. It's going to be the Fabulous Ones and Dick Slater taking on the Fullers and you Tully Blanchard! The fans go nuts! Tully is throwing a tantrum! Baby Doll is trying to calm him down. Tully: You cant do this! You hear me Jarrett! Jarrett: I can and I did! Jarrett walks out. Lance is watching Tully throw a fit. The Fullers come out and calm Tully down. Rob: Tully, Tully, Tully. Don't worry about a thing Son. The Fullers got your back. Tully calms down and walks out with the Fullers. Lance: Oh my what a blockbuster announcement. Two steel cage matches set for the Happening. Fans, our main event when we come back. Commercial Break The Spoiler vs. Super Destroyer w/Paul Jones The bell rings and the fight is on. Nothing pretty as they just club away at each other. The fight spills to the outside. They fight all around the ring as the Ref reaches the 10 count. Both men are counted out but keep fighting. Spoiler knocks Super D down. Jones sneaks up behind Spoiler but Spoiler turns around and clamps on the claw! Jones is flailing, Super D runs over but Spoiler hurls Jones into him. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, what a show. A lot of major announcements regarding the Happening. Next week both Dusty Rhodes and the USWA world champ Terry Funk will be here. I... Super Destroyer and a disoriented Paul Jones storm the podium. Another action packed Continental loop. Dynamite Duo and Sheepherders are heading for some kind of wild gimmick match. Khan is still a bad man as he gets a good win over popular Wendell Cooley. Dirty White Boys might be thinking twice about messing with the Armstrong's. Oh man, Fujinami is on a roll in Continental. That win over Dory is big time. I wouldn't want to be Slick when Bullet gets a hold of him. Of course he's got to get through Bad News to do that. Garvin is picking up some nice wins. Young Jarrett is playing with fire. Barnes must be furious right now. Nightmares and Moondogs continue to tear it up. Chicky Starr is going to be huge. I can feel it. Rich's take down the Mulligans. I'm sure this was a crowd pleaser lol. Awesome main event to send the fans home happy. Brody/Olympia and Bock, damn what a team!

Oh man I would of loved to been at this super card. The fans in Hawaii defiantly got their money's worth tonight and some. Perfect opener between 2 hot newcomers. The power of Simmons was to much for Candido to handle. Simmons is making serious waves. Vic Steamboat is certainly making a name for himself and this win over Adams puts him up another notch. That finish by Steamboat was an awesome visual. Dog Pound puts a stamp on their feud with the Thundercats but they also get their respect. WOW!!!! Busick gets the pin on Hansen! This is huge! However, Busick has been built up so well I wouldn't really call it a total shocker. Still, a pin on Hansen (even in a tag match) is enough to elevate anybody. Busick's stock just went way up. Badd Co. defiantly has the Midnight's number. This match was awesome and might be the show stealer. LOL, Cornette has an epic tantrum. Tough act to follow but Orton and Taylor do it by giving the fans a classic 20 minute draw. I hope we get more classics from these two ring technicians. I was really looking forward to the next match. Good seesaw battle. I was rooting for Iron and Steel but I'm ok with Windham and Rotunda getting the win. I'm sure this earns them a title shot. Man, Duggan and Rose put on one heck of a brawl! Even Easy Ed takes a 2x4 shot. This match was hard core and it looks like we're going to get more. These two really mesh well in a match like this. Cornette gets a little payback as he helps Bubba defeat Blackwell in the battle of the bodyguards. British Steel gets that high profile win over the Hart Foundation! Yea, I would say British Steel has defiantly arrived. No nonsense Severn scores the Hollywood Knights the win over Black Gold. Severn still seems to be pissed at Young. After a good chase, the Snowbirds defeat the Guerreros for the Ca. State titles!! I loved the matches between these teams and what a great pay off. Another outstanding championship match between Perez and Smothers. Back to back title changes! Perez had one heck of a run in Pacific. Well it didn't take long for Smothers to take over the Hollywood Knights LOL. I'm sure Severn had no problem doing some damage to Young. I think we're in for a wild Smothers reign. No Way! Yes! The Wild Bulls get the title shot! Cabin Fever showed how tough they are and put up a fight but in the end the Wild Bulls take the straps and that's 3 title changes. What a night! I know the Bull Pen was thrilled. After all that, we now get the big Gilbert/Adams Pacific Title showdown. Adams really came close to dethroning Gilbert. Adams proved how tough he is as it took 2 piledrivers to put him down. Gilbert also showed his toughness coming back from some serious punishment and retaining the title. Another great pay off to send the fans home happy. Job well done! Props to all your hard work. Every match meant something and this is everything a super card should be.

Tournament is off to a great start with some exciting first round action. Taylor's been on a pretty good roll but he was in there with a ring general in Dory Funk. Garvin was a master of the sunset flip from the top rope. Obviously still a lot of bad blood between Mulligan and Khan. Mulligan wins the fight but Khan advances. Brody putting Ayala down with a jumping piledriver was impressive. HAHAHA! Rich giving the finger to Bock after his loss was priceless. Even in defeat Tommy, still keeps his heat. Fujinami defeats Street in a classic. Looks like the fans were into this one. Borne and his brass knuckles pull of an upset on Olympia. Another hate filled match as Bullet and Bad News get themselves eliminated. Dory's a smart man as he takes advantage of Garvin's previous injury to advance. WOW! That Brody/Khan match was nuts! Maybe we'll get more between these two monsters. Bock gets a big win over Fujinami. I know these guys had their working boots on. This time the tactic backfires and Bock advances over Borne. The maniac in Borne comes out and Johnny V felt it. Bad night for the Rich's. Doesn't get much better than a Bock/Dory finals showdown. Bock wins it! Yes! Now we get Landel vs. Bock for the title! Solid tournament Gene. Nice to see Bock win it.

USWA trades Lance "Von Erich" to Continental for Carl Fergie

USWA @ The Mid South Coliseum 2-27-86 Hart's Afire vs. Two Local Talents Bruce hits a vertical suplex and Keith follows with a knee drop from the middle ropes for the pin. The Stomper w/Billy Jack Strong vs. "Maniac" Mark Lewin w/Curtis Iaukea After brawling for a few minutes, Lewin misses a charge in the corner and Stomper rolls him up for a quick pin. Kendo Nagasaki runs out and nails Strong from behind. Iaukea and Kendo double team Strong. Stomper heads out and takes Iaukea down. Lewin nails Stomper. Everybody fights for a few more minutes. Winner of the Match- The Stomper Mid America Champ Rocky Johnson and The Spoiler vs. "Champagne" Gerry Morrow and The Super Destroyer w/Paul Jones Tempers flare all throughout the match. Spoiler and Super D end up fighting on the outside. Jones tries to get involved but Spoiler knocks him down. Johnson dropkicks Morrow through the ropes. Morrow crawls over and gets his Billionaire's title. The Ref is distracted by Spoiler and Super D fighting. Johnson gets half way through the ropes to get at Morrow. Morrow blasts Johnson with the Billionaire's title! The Ref turns around and sees Morrow covering Johnson. He runs over and counts 1..2..3! Winners of the Match- Gerry Morrow and The Super Destroyer The Fabulous Ones vs. The Stud Stable (Rob Fuller and Jimmy Golden) It doesn't take long before both teams fight to a DOUBLE C.O. That's just the beginning. Things get crazy when Golden grabs a chair. Rob pushes Keirn into the steel post, then holds Lane. Golden swings the chair down but Lane elbows Rob and ducks. Golden nails Rob with the chair! Keirn clips Golden behind the knee. Lane grabs the chair and hits Golden's knee with it! Keirn applies the figure four as Lane hits Golden's knee with the chair! This continues until several officials run out to stop it. Golden needs to be carried out. Official Ruling- A Double C.O. Carlos Colon vs. Kamala w/Curtis Iaukea These guys give the fans a good 10 minute fight. Kamala has Colon down and goes for a big splash but Colon moves. Both men stagger up and have a furious exchange. Colon gets the upper hand and scoop slams Kamala. Colon goes to the middle ropes and crashes down with an elbow drop 1..2..NO! Iaukea runs in and kicks Colon. The Ref signals for the DQ. Colon gets up in a fit of rage, grabs Iaukea and starts choking him. Nagasaki runs in and nails Colon with his kendo stick! Billy Jack Strong hits the ring and clotheslines Nagasaki down. Lewin hits the ring and puts Strong down with a forearm blast from behind. Stomper runs in and pounds away on Lewin. Bruise Brothers look focused and ready to go as they proudly hold their titles up. After a good 15 minute back and forth match, Karachi Vice is in control. Gama hits a gut wrench suplex on Cash then tags in Makhan. Makhan swings Cash into the corner and charges in with an avalanche but Cash moves, dives over and tags in Snowman. Snowman works over Makhan then puts him down with a clothesline and follows with a jumping elbow drop 1..2..Gama drops a knee on Snowman. Cash runs in, punches Gama to the ropes and sends him over the top with a jumping headbutt. Makhan staggers up, the Bruise Brothers grab him and nail him with a double jumping headbutt. Makhan staggers around. In an awesome display of strength, Snowman hoists Makhan up and powerslams him over 1..2..3! Winners and still USWA Tag Team Champs- The Bruise Brothers Bullrope Match! "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes vs. "The Tennessee Stud" Ron Fuller As soon as they're hooked up, Fuller runs out of the ring but Dusty pulls the rope and yanks him back in. Dusty does a little dance and wiggles his finger at Fuller. Dusty shakes the rope and that cowbell is ringing. Fuller tries to yank the rope but Dusty runs over and clotheslines him down. The first few minutes is all Dusty. After hitting, stomping and choking, Dusty busts Fuller open with a cowbell shot. Dusty covers 1..2..Fuller barley gets his shoulder up. As Dusty rises, Fuller wraps the rope and pulls it up between Dusty's legs. Dusty is down and Fuller regroups. The next segment is all Fuller. Fuller busts Dusty open with a cowbell shot. Fuller picks up Dusty and executes 3 backbreakers followed by 3 body slams with authority. Fuller stomps on Dusty's legs then wraps the ropes around his legs and applies the Fuller Lock! Dusty is screaming in pain as the fans try and fire him up. Dusty frantically fights then rakes the eyes of Fuller several times which finally breaks the hold. Fuller staggers up and rubs his eyes. Dusty grabs the ropes to help himself up. Fuller turns around and into several punches by Dusty. Dusty puts him down with a cowbell blast. Dusty limps around and is feeding off the crowd's cheers. Dusty hops up on the middle ropes. Fuller slowly rises and Dusty nails him with another cowbell shot! Fuller is down. Dusty follows with a bionic elbow drop 1..2..3! HUGE POP! Winner of the match- Dusty Rhodes USWA World Title Bout Terry Funk (C) vs. "Superstar" Bill Dundee Dundee gets a hero's welcome back from the Memphis fans. He looks determined. The rousing cheers turn to thundering boos as Funk wildly storms down the aisle. Big match feel during introductions. The Ref holds the title up and signals for the bell. Funk immediately charges and pounds away on Dundee. Funk swings Dundee to the ropes but misses a clothesline. Dundee swings back and hits a flying cross body block 1..2..Funk barely kicks out. The fans and Dundee thought it was over. Funk quickly rolls out of the ring and staggers around. Funk is livid and flips over chairs then starts throwing them in the ring. The Ref finally gets some order. Funk gets on the apron and yells at Dundee. Dundee goes over, Funk takes a wild swing but Dundee ducks and back suplexes Funk back in the ring 1..2..Kick Out. Funk rolls out to the apron. Dundee swings off the ropes and baseball slides Funk to the outside. After a few seconds, Funk staggers up and takes a wild swing at a heckling fan. Funk finally gets on the apron. Dundee goes over, Funk takes a swing but Dundee blocks it, fires away and this time vertical suplexes Funk back in the ring 1..2..Kick Out. Dundee swings Funk into the corner and charges in with a high knee but Funk moves. Dundee hits hard and falls back. Funk is just lying there. Both men stagger up. Funk grabs Dundee and executes a swinging neckbreaker 1..2..Dundee gets his foot on the ropes. Funk berates the Ref then chokes away on Dundee. Funk hits Dundee with several delayed stomps. Funk picks up Dundee and pushes him into the corner and follows with several shoulder thrusts. Funk pulls Dundee out by his hair and hits a Russian Leg Sweep 1..2..Dundee gets his shoulder up. An irate Funk starts pounding Dundee with fists. Funk hops on the middle ropes and comes down with a forearm drop 1..2..Kick Out. Now Funk is really mad. He pushes the Ref and gets a stern warning. After arguing with the Ref, Funk finally turns his attention back on Dundee. Dundee slowly rises. Funk grabs him and attempts another Russian Leg Sweep but Dundee grabs the top rope and Funk hits the canvas hard. Dundee shakes the cobwebs. The fans are up and cheering as Dundee pumps his fists. Funk slowly staggers up and Dundee fires away with those Memphis style punches, swings Funk to the ropes and back drops him high up and over. As Funk rises, Dundee hits a Bulldog 1..2..Funk gets his shoulder up. Dundee swings Funk to the ropes and a back elbow smash puts him down. Dundee swings off the ropes and crashes down with a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Dundee picks up Funk and executes a delayed vertical suplex. Dundee goes to the top ropes. Funk slowly rises and Dundee hits him with a double axe handle 1..2..Funk barely gets his shoulder up. Dundee sits up clearly frustrated. As Dundee reaches down to pick up Funk, Funk gouges his eyes but Dundee quickly responds and clamps the sleeper on Funk. Funk mule kicks Dundee low. Both men topple over. Dundee is in serious pain. He slowly starts to rise but Funk quickly rolls him over with a handful of tights 1..2..3! Funk slowly rolls out of the ring and yanks the title off the table, then holds it up as the fans boo. HAHAHAHAHA! Oh man Fergie got jacked!!!!! Ayala, Chicky, Fergie, Bad News and Slick, no loose ends here. Brilliant way to write off Fergie and get Chicky going. We'll see if Fergie can ever rebound from this. He better give Morrow a call. This was one of the best opening segments I've ever read. The show's momentum continues to roll as Bock and Buddy go toe to toe with the wisecracks. Gotta say, Bock held his own LOL. This could be a very interesting story. Damn, I still can't get over the quality of those first round match ups. LOL, here we go. I've been dying to hear the Rich's DVE tournament comments. Loved it! They call it like it was and made themselves look like the real winners. That's exactly how you keep the heat baby. "He has long teeth" hilarious. LOL, Bruno introduces the Dirty White Boys which is followed by a loss to the Armstrong's. DWB's get their heat back with a post match beating. I agree with Bleh, Anthony and Gilbert along with Bruno can work. Fujinami continues to get over. I liked this IWGP title match mixed in with all the Continental chaos. Speaking of chaos, main event gives us a lot of it. We didn't get an official match but I think that multi man brawl was enough to satisfy the viewers. Young Jarrett better have eyes in the back of his head after that promo by Barnes. Barnes is really doing a good job with this feud. LOL, Corvette key on a pole battle royal! What a classic 80s gimmick. The USA network execs should be patting themselves on the back. First Texas and now Continental. I'm looking at some sky rocketing ratings! Hey, with the Beauty Shop and Fiesta Garden, maybe Chicky should bring back the Sport Shop LOL. Great stuff Gene! Can't wait for the tournament.

Wow! Texas is on the USA network and gets the action going with a TV title bout. Good battle between two top babyfaces. Irwin wins the title! Adias showed some real sportsmanship in defeat. The Wild Bunch is riding high. Things take a turn as Brooks and Miller storm out. Looks like this feud is getting an encore. I don't blame Miller for being pissed LOL. The suspense is killing me! Who or what is Luscious??? I think it's hilarious we've got the same idea going and both will be answered next week. Great stuff. Oh yea, my man El Jefe wants a shot at Casey's title! I'm positive Casey will accept. I can't tell you enough the incredible job you've done with Estrada. Mantell scores another victory. Another guy you've gotten way over. Awesome debut for the Rose cousins! Loved the promo and it made total sense. That's followed by a tremendous in-ring debut. I know these guys will get over here. They really were an underrated tag team and you'll give them the shine they deserved. Yes, time for the Fiesta Garden! LOL, I'm sure Brenda was so happy to help. Only Al could get away with the two black eyes comment. Without a doubt, he'll bring huge ratings for the USA network (just like Brenda) It's official, Casey vs. El Jefe next week! That might of taken a back seat to the slap by Sunshine. Nice touch having Slinker grab her arm before a second slap. Casey better be watching out for Al. I don't think he's going to let that slap go. Another wild main event match! A frustrated Miller walks and leaves Brooks to get his head knocked off by Bart. Such a fitting official end to this great feud. I wonder if Dusek will have a heart and let Miller stay? They win the tournament and end this feud. Bart and Bass are on fire. I see some tag team gold in the near future. Tatum and Victory better be on high alert. The USA network scored big with Texas wrestling!

That's followed by footage from the Cook Center as Rocky Johnson defeats Gerry Morrow to win the vacated Mid America Title. Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling right here on the USA network. Well we have new USWA tag team champions and we'll be seeing them next week. Once again congratulations to the Bruise Brothers. And congratulations to Rocky Johnson as he defeated Gerry Morrow at the Cook Center to become the new Mid America Champ. We'll be seeing Rocky next week as well. Also tonight, Tony St. Clair defends the TV title against Ben Bassarab. Fans, last week at the Cook Convention Center, Ron Fuller pinned Dusty Rhodes after once again using a cowbell on him. Well apparently Dusty has had enough and this weekend at the Mid South Coliseum, he will face Ron Fuller in a bullrope match. On that note, listen to this, tonight's main event will be Dusty teaming with the Fabulous Ones to take on the entire Stud Stable. You talk about a main event that would sell out any arena. You great fans get to see it right here tonight. So much going on so let's kick things off with our TV title bout. TV Title Bout Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair (C) w/Les Thornton vs. "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab Bassarab remains focused as Thornton takes the UK colored robe off Tony. Tony unstraps his title and holds it up. Thornton grabs it, shows it to Bassarab and shakes his head. The Ref signals for the bell and here we go. They lock up and Tony clamps on a headlock, then gives Bassarab a quick punch to the head. Bassarab backs up as Tony smiles, claps his hands and lets Bassarab know who he's in the ring with. They lock up again and Tony clamps on another headlock. Bassarab hoists him up and executes a back suplex. Tony rolls back into the corner as Bassarab lets him know who he's dealing with. Thornton is throwing a fit and pointing up at Bassarab. They lock up again. Bassarab clamps on a headlock but Tony pushes him to the ropes, Bassarab swings back and puts Tony down with a shoulder block. Tony gets up and Bassarab scoop slams him down. Bassarab swings off the ropes and hits a high jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Bassarab swings off the ropes but Thornton trips him. Bassarab stumbles forward, stops and goes back after Thornton. Bassarab goes to the outside and chases Thornton. Bassarab finally slides back in the ring but Tony meets him with a knee to the head. Tony works over Bassarab with a variety of suplexes but cant put him away. Tony swings Bassarab to the ropes, does a somersault and nails Bassarab with a diving headbutt to the mid section. Tony quickly cradles Bassarab 1..2..Kick Out. Thornton berates the Ref. Tony goes for a vertical suplex but Bassarab blocks it and suplexes Tony back! Both men are reeling. They both stagger up and have an exchange. Tony fires away with European uppercuts as Bassarab fires back with forearm blasts. Bassarab gets the upper hand, swings Tony to the ropes and puts him down with a high dropkick. Thornton gets on the apron and the fans cheer as Bassarab sends him flying with a high dropkick. Bassarab hoists Tony up and atomic drops him. Tony is wobbling and Bassarab puts him down with a clothesline 1..2..Kick Out. Bassarab picks Tony up but Tony rakes the eyes. Tony swings Bassarab to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Bassarab swings back and nails Tony with a Thesz Press but Tony holds on, carry's the momentum and hot shots Bassarab on the top rope. Tony regroups, picks up Bassarab and executes a floating butterfly suplex 1..2..3! Tony St. Clair retains the TV title! Commercial Break Lance: I'm here with the TV champ Tony St. Clair and Les Thornton. My goodness that was an exciting match. I have to say, Mr. St. Clair's TV title reign has been nothing short of spectacular. Thornton: Tell us something we don't know. Lance: Well I know you know about the big plans for our next closed circuit event The Happening on April 2nd but let me inform our fans. Thornton: Yes, very well, you do that. Lance: Ok, at the Happening there will be a special international match. Our reigning TV champ Tony St. Clair will meet the current Universal Wrestling Association champion, from Mexico, El Canek. No titles will be on the line. This should be an all time wrestling classic between two outstanding champions. I understand, next week there will be a special press conference with both participants in attendance. Thornton: Well, to tell you the truth Mr. Russell, I would much rather save my words for next week then to share them with you today. Good day. Lance: Ah..ok. I guess we'll go to the ring. The South Pacific Connection vs. Sam Smith and Gary Williams SPC work their opponents over with chops, slams and headbutts. The end comes when SPC double slam Smith, then hop up on opposite corners and crash down with stereo diving headbutts for the win! Commercial Break Kamala/Kendo Nagasaki/"Maniac" Mark Lewin w/Curtis Iaukea vs. Clinton Stitch/Willie Lopez and Vic Dutro Iaukea's monsters totally destroy their opponents. Kamala finishes the match with a big splash on Dutro. After the match, Lewin grabs Lopez and puts him out with the sleeper. Kendo tortures Stitch with the oriental spike. Lewin lays Lopez down and Kendo lays Stitch on top of Lopez. Kamala swings off the ropes and splashes both men! Iaukea leads his men to the podium. Iaukea: Stomper! You're a very foolish man! You got involved in a fight that was not your concern and now you must pay! Tomorrow night at the Mid South Coliseum you will face the Maniac! (Lewin rolls up his eyes) Stomper! You're going to regret your decision. As for you Carlos Colon, you will face the end when you step into the ring with Kamala! And if Billy Jack Strong wants to get punished, the assassin Kendo Nagasaki is waiting! Iaukea does a manacle laugh before leaving. Funk: Well, well well, little Bill wants the world title. Well little Bill is going to come up short, just like his entire career. It's laughable if anybody thinks he's going to beat me for this here title. Nobody is going to beat me for it. Not Scott Casey! Not Johnny Mantell! Not Bob Armstrong! Not Jerry Lawler, oh wait I already sent him packing. And not that fat pig Dusty Rhodes! I've wrestled them all and I beat them all! And Lance, if you keep staring at me like that, I'm going to beat you to! Funk pushes the mic in Lance's chest and storms off. Lance: (Shaking his head) I think he's losing it. Back to the ring. The Spoiler vs. Rick Linderman Spoiler dismantles his opponent before finishing him off with the claw! Spoiler cuts a promo on his upcoming Mid South Coliseum match where he will team with Rocky Johnson to take on Super Destroyer and Gerry Morrow. Spoiler gives Paul Jones a stern warning if he interferes. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, with me right now is Jerry Jarrett. Jerry, I know you have a few things to talk about. Jarrett: Thank you Lance. First up, I said last week I had some news for Tully Blanchard. Well, I received a message from Baby Doll saying Tully didn't feel like coming in today. Now (Jarrett holds up the Central States tag team titles and sets them on the podium) I want to congratulate the Bruise Brothers on winning the USWA tag titles. They relinquished these Central States titles. I want to say that at The Happening, I will determine two teams that will wrestle for these titles. So we'll see new Central States tag champs crowned. Speaking of The Happening, tonight you all will hear some matches signed for that big event. One match I will announce right now is the Bruise Brothers will defend the USWA tag titles against Bodacious. Lance, this is going to be one tremendous event. Lance: Ok, a lot to take in. And I mean number one, second to none! This week there will be no guest. You want to know why? I'll tell you why. I have such a big announcement that it would overshadow any guest. And I wouldn't want that. It just wouldn't be right. Ok, listen up. The Beauty Shop is where it all happens. So I think it's only fitting that the real King of Professional Wrestling makes his first appearance right here on my show! That's right! I once again did what no suit in the USWA could do. I've officially booked the real King! That's right, I know who the King is but I aint telling. So next week, right here on my show, the real King will grace us with an appearance. The Beasts hold Moore up as Ox grabs him by his hair and puts him down with the Heart Punch! Poor Moore is stretchered out. Lance: I don't know what to say. That was total destruction. I'm going to stay sharp in the ring by flying solo for awhile. Now I heard Kevin Kelly and his flunkie out here earlier and all I have to say is keep laughing and go ahead and underestimate me. Bob Roop has been around and at The Happening, I'm going to give Mr. Magnificent a wrestling lesson he'll never forget. Commercial Break Lance: I've been excited about this for awhile, Curt Hennig is set for action. Curt Hennig vs. Ray Glader ACDC's Back in Black blasts over the speakers as Hennig makes his way out to a rousing ovation. Hennig gives the fans a show with hip tosses, crisp arm drags and high dropkicks. Hennig finishes things off with a Bridging Fisherman's Suplex for the impressive win. Lance: Curt, come on over. Welcome back. Curt: Thank you Lance, it's a thrill to be back in the USWA! Lance: Well you certainly didn't waste anytime. I heard you wanted a match at The Happening and you got one. You'll be going one on one with Greg Gagne. You two have some connected family history. Your dad Larry the Axe and his dad Verne Gagne at one time had quite a heated rivalry. Curt: They sure did and ...... Boos as Greg Gagne strolls out with his bodyguard Duke Myers. Gagne is wearing a flat cap, golf clothes and has a sweater tied around his neck. Duke is wearing black jeans, has a black forearm sleeve and red jersey with DUKER written across the back. Gagne: Lance, you will address me as The Great Gagne, got it. (looks at Curt) Well, look at you Curt, all grown up and ready for the big time. Well it doesn't get any bigger than the Great Gagne. Friendly word of advice. Don't talk about your dad, just makes you look pathetic. Curt: Hey, I'm proud of what my dad accomplished and you should be proud of yours as well. Gagne: Spoken like a true daddy's boy. Baby boy Curt, loves his daddy so much. You make me sick. Curt steps in but Duke gets in front of Greg. Lance: Easy gentlemen, easy. Curt: Out of respect for you Lance, I'll back off. Get ready Gagne, at The Happening your mine! Curt leaves. Gagne: It's the Great Gagne! Get it right baby boy! Come on Duker, let's go. Lance: (pauses) Our blockbuster main event when we come back. The Ref lets it go for a bit. Dusty is all over Ron as he punches him in the corner. The Fabs swing Rob and Golden to the ropes and send them out of the ring with stereo dropkicks. It's Dusty and Ron in the ring as things settle down. Dusty hops on the turnbuckles and the fans count along as Dusty hits Ron 10 times. Dusty hops down, swings Ron into the opposite corner and follows with a running clothesline. Rob and Golden run in but the Fabs are on them. It's another pier six brawl! The Ref tries several times to get some order but not happening. The Ref finally signals for a DOUBLE DQ. The Stud Stable eventually retreats. The fans are up and cheering as Dusty and the Fabs go to the podium. Lane: Stud Stable! That was just a taste. We got you boys again tomorrow night! Keirn: And we're going to have some fun! Downtown loses Ayala but rebounds with the Mighty Goliath. This will be trouble. HAHAHAHAHA! The Fergie/Chicky segment was hilarious! The contract in Spanish was great. "Right here's your name, there's my name and most importantly there's Ayala's name" Works for me LOL. Fergie's going through a rough time. Speaking of Chicky, White Lighting is gunning for his title. After a chaotic brawl and help from young Jarrett, Dundee gets the big and satisfying win over Barnes. I would of loved watching this on TV back in the day. Mulligan and son end the show on a high note taking down the Moondogs. Look at those interesting first round match ups. Brody vs. Ayala will be a brawl! Good heat matches like Armstrong vs. Bad News and Mulligan vs. Khan. I can't imagine what the Bock/Rich match will be like. Good stuff! Continental is on fire!

USWA @ The Cook Convention Center 2-20-86 Harts Afire vs. Two Local Talents The Harts are sporting matching shiny red singlets with yellow flaming hearts. Total showcase. Keith executes a backbreaker and Bruce finishes things off with the Boston Crab. "Bulldog" Mike George vs. "The Lone Wolf" Jesse Barr Another hard hitting fight between these two current rivals. The fight spills out to the floor and Barr puts George down with a belly to belly suplex on the concrete! Barr rolls George back in the ring and gets the pin. Barr isn't done yet as he gets his bullrope and chokes George. Barr picks up George with the bullrope around his neck and flings him over the top rope and hangs him. The Ref tries to intervene but Barr kicks him down. Very graphic scene as Barr continues choking George until several officials come out. George is stretchered out. The Spoiler vs. Super Destroyer w/Paul Jones These guys fight all over the place. Spoiler takes control and hoists Super D up for a suplex but Paul Jones nails Spoiler at the knees with his cane. Spoiler crumbles down with Super D on top 1..2..3! Jones is very happy with himself. Special Challenge Match The Fabulous Ones vs. The Stud Stable Fabs are pretty beaten up from the Stud Stable but demanded a match with them tonight. Stud Stable take advantage of that and control most of the match. Pier six brawl breaks out. Fabs swing the Stud Stable into each other, Keirn grabs Golden's tights and rolls him over 1..2..3! Fabs roll out as the Stud Stable throw a tantrum in the ring. Carlos Colon/ Billy Jack Strong and ??? vs. Kamala,/"Maniac" Mark Lewin and ??? w/Curtis Iaukea WOW! Coming down the aisle with Kamala, Lewin and Iaukea is none other than Kendo Nagasaki! Kendo gets in the ring and swings his kendo stick around. Iaukea has his monsters ready for battle. The fans cheer as Colon and Strong walk out, stop, turn around and wave their partner out. The place erupts as THE STOMPER comes out! They hit the ring and fists are flying! The match never officially starts but they give the fans a wild and insane 10 minute brawl! It takes awhile for things to settle down. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes vs. "The Tennessee Stud" Ron Fuller Some bad blood here. After going at it for 20 minutes, Dusty gets control. The fans are on their feet as Dusty punches away on Fuller and puts him down with a bionic elbow. Dusty hops on the middle ropes. Fuller staggers up. Dusty jumps off with a double axehandle but Fuller pulls the Ref and Dusty nails the Ref. Dusty is trying to help the Ref. Fuller sneaks up but Dusty sees him and punches away. RON FULLER and JIMMY GOLDEN hit the ring and attack Dusty. Ron rolls out of the ring, looks under the ring and pulls out a cowbell. The fans go crazy as the FABULOUS ONES hit the ring and take it to the Stud Stable. They knock them to the outside and chase them to the back. Ron gets back in the ring. Dusty slowly staggers up and WHAM! Ron blasts him with the cowbell. Ron covers as the disoriented Ref slowly crawls over and counts 1..2..3! BOOOOOO! For the Mid-America Title "Soul Man" Rocky Johnson vs. "Champagne" Gerry Morrow Jerry Jarrett stands in the ring and holds up the Mid-America title. Morrow arrogantly walks over and compares it with his Billionaire's title. The bell rings and Rocky is all over Morrow. Morrow tries to run out of the ring but Rocky grabs him by his tights and sends him flying with an overhead German suplex. Morrow staggers up and wildly swings but Rocky ducks and atomic drops him into the turnbuckles. Morrow staggers back and Rocky drop kicks him back into the turnbuckles, then rolls him up 1..2..Morrow barely gets his shoulder up. Morrow rolls out of the ring and stumbles around. The Ref reaches 8 but stops when Rocky goes out after him. Morrow kicks Rocky low and swings him into the steel post, then rolls him back into the ring. Morrow goes to the top rope and crashes down with a forearm drop 1..2..Kick Out. Morrow stomps on Johnson and chokes him with his boot, then rakes it across his head. Morrow swings Rocky to the ropes and clotheslines him down. Morrow picks up Johnson and drops him with a Hangman's neckbreaker 1..2..Johnson gets his shoulder up. Morrow berates the Ref. Morrow executes a gut wrench suplex 1..2..Kick Out! The fans start to chant "Rocky" Rocky" Morrow hoists up Rocky and delivers a delayed hanging suplex. Morrow smiles and yells "Get de champagne ready" Morrow slowly goes to the top ropes. Morrow smiles and holds out his arms as the fans boo. Those boos turn to a cheering roar as Rocky gets up, runs over and slams Morrow off the top rope! Morrow is reeling as the fans fire Rocky up. Rocky shakes his fists. Morrow staggers up, Rocky swings him to the ropes and hits a big back drop. Morrow staggers up and Rocky puts him down with a high dropkick 1..2..Morrow gets his foot on the rope. Rocky reaches down but Morrow rakes his eyes. Morrow rakes his eyes again. Morrow swings Rocky into the corner. Morrow smiles and gestures his hands around his waist. Morrow charges in but Johnson sunset flips over him 1..2..3!!!!! The place goes bonkers! Jarrett goes in and presents Johnson with the Mid-America Title. Morrow is arguing with the Ref and Jarrett but they're not really listening. Morrow heads towards Rocky but thinks twice when Rocky raises the title towards him. Morrow gives Rocky a warning point then exits. The fans cheer as Rocky holds up the title. Winner of the Match and new Mid-America Champion- Rocky Johnson

Mad Dog Vachon is back in Lutte! Yea, Terry Daniels better be on his A game. Wow, Apollo really wants a piece of the Sheik. Be careful what you wish for. Speaking of being careful, Kaluha might want to think twice and heal up a bit before going after Leduc.

These 2 loops show just how stacked your roster is. The Armstrong's/Moondog's match would of been a lot of fun to watch. Young Jarrett better be careful messing with Barnes. Bad News and Dory is the type of team that would just slowly dismantle somebody before putting them away. Landel survives Brody...for now. What better way to kick off a show with none other than Mr. Money. Good to see Ron Garvin back in action. I really think Garvin's stiff style fits in so well here. I'm going to keep an eye on the Chicky/Ayala combo. LOL, Embry's playing peacemaker again. Borne better watch his back. The Rich's keep their nuclear heat from the tournament going. Can't wait to see what's next for them. Fujinami quickly gets over with the Southern fans with a decisive win over Khan.

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 2-19-86 Show starts off with a complete highlight package of the David Von Erich Memorial tag team tournament. Highlights end with the team of Black Bart and Ron Bass holding up the trophy and 100,000 dollar check. Lance: Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling right here on the USA network. You all saw the highlights, the historic David Von Erich tag team tournament is now in the books. It was an event of epic proportions and I was very proud to have been a part of it. Congratulations to the team of Black Bart and Ron Bass. They had a tremendous showing and defeated a lot of top ranked teams to win it all. They defiantly earned every dollar. Unfortunately there is some bad news to report. Not only did Tully Blanchard hit Dick Slater several times with a chair after their match but he attacked Slater in the back while seeking medical treatment. Cameras were able to get some footage towards the end of that vicious attack. Let's take a look. Slater is on the ground as medics are trying to back Tully away. Tully pushes them back, picks up Slater and suplexes him on the floor. Camera view is blocked by Security running in there. Lance: I understand Dick Slater's back was injured and he will not be cleared for at least 30 days. I also understand Jerry Jarrett will have an announcement regarding the Mid America Title, later tonight. Very best wishes to Dick Slater. I do have some good news for you. Our first match tonight will be for the USWA tag team titles. Karachi Vice will defend against the Fabulous Ones. Let's get right to it. USWA Tag Team Title Bout The Karachi Vice (C) vs. The Fabulous Ones The bell rings but before the match gets going, ROB FULLER and JIMMY GOLDEN hit the ring and jump the Fabs! Fabs start fighting back but Karachi Vice jumps in and it's a 4 on 2. Karachi Vice double slam Keirn as the Stud Stable drop Lane with a spiked piledriver! Officials hit the ring. Commercial Break Lance: After what just went down, Jerry Jarrett is on his way out. Jerry briskly walks to the podium. Jarrett: I've had it Lance. We're coming off a tremendous event and tonight should of been a great follow up. The Stud Stable have been kicked out of the building and trust me, they will be severely punished. Speaking of punishments, what Tully Blanchard did to our Mid America champ Dick Slater went completely over the line. Tully was banned tonight because I didn't even want to see his face. However, next week I will be talking with him and I think I have a pretty good idea to share with him. Unfortunately Dick Slater will not be able to defend during the next 30 days. That is a shame because Dick represented what a fighting champion is all about. Lance, you and I know things must go on. I've decided that tomorrow night at the Cook Convention Center, the match signed between Gerry Morrow and Rocky Johnson will be for the Mid America Title. And finally, Karachi Vice is not getting away with their part in all this. They will defend the USWA tag titles tonight! Most of our teams were given the week off but there's a team that's here for an interview and instead of that, they will get a tag team title shot tonight. Boos as Karachi Vice storm out. Makhan: Oh what a surprise. What is your problem Jarrett? Gama: Great question brother Makhan. You talk about fighting champions, well we've been just that for 10 months! What is our reward? Why does all the other inferior teams get the week off and we don't? This is nothing short of injustice! We didn't have anything to do with what just happened. That is not our fight! Jarrett: You were in on the attack and honestly I think you both were still seething from that tournament loss to the Fabulous Ones. They earned that shot tonight and now they can't compete and I bet that's exactly what you wanted. The bottom line is, later tonight you will defend those belts so get ready! Jarrett leaves as Karachi Vice yell at Lance. Commercial Break "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly w/The Vin Man vs. Todd Rooney Vinnie and Kevin hug as the bell rings. Kevin is all business as he pummels Rooney. Kevin hits Rooney with several rabbit punches to the back, then picks Rooney up and clamps on the full nelson. The Ref signals for the bell as Kevin twirls Rooney around and tosses him across the ring. Vinnie gets in the ring, swings off the ropes and drops an elbow on Rooney for the fun of it. Vin and Kevin walk to the podium. Vin: As you can see the entire family isn't here tonight because Bodacious is enjoying some well deserved time off after their awesome tournament showing. BUUUUUT, lucky for you and all these cool wannabes, you still got the Vin Man and Mr. Magnificent. That's more than enough to get by on. Kev just showed why nobody wants to get in the ring with him and hey I don't blame them. Kev's the man and I'm the Vin Man...YEA! Commercial Break Billy Jack Strong vs. Curtis Moore Strong excites the crowd with a variety of power moves before executing an overhead German Suplex. Strong hoists Moore up and drops him with a delayed brainbuster for the win! Strong is joined by Carlos Colon at the podium. Lance: Gentlemen, tomorrow night at the Cook Convention Center, I understand it will be Kamala, Mark Lewin and a mystery partner facing the two of you and a mystery partner. Originally Rocky Johnson was your partner and things have taken a different turn. Colon: That is right. Things have changed. Rocky had a long talk with us and I understand what he's doing. He's fighting for a friend and now for a title. He has our blessing. Rocky being the true friend he is, called up somebody and that somebody will take his place in this fight. Strong: We wish Rocky all the best and believe us Lance when we tell you, he found us a fighter. Colon: Iaukea! Kamala! Lewin! We don't care who your partner is because we have a bigger surprise. Just wait and see! Commercial Break Another video is shown of Curt Hennig. Highlights of him in the ring and in the gym. The video cuts to him driving a convertible. He cruises up, stops, smiles and looks in the camera. "I'll see you next week" Lance: Ok, Curt Hennig returns to the USWA next week. Uh..hello A man wearing a tuxedo approaches and hands Lance a note. The man exits. Lance: (opens the note and reads it) I know how excited the fans were that the real King of wrestling was set to make an appearance tonight. However, because the King is in demand all around the world, I will not be able to attend tonight. Do not worry, the King will be there next week. Just remember, good things come to those that wait. (Lance folds the note) Well fans, I guess we'll have to wait another week for the self proclaimed King of wrestling. Yea, I'll believe it when I see it. Let's get to the ring for this week's TV title contender's match and the two names that were drawn. Winner receives a TV title shot next week "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab vs. "The Lone Wolf" Jesse Barr The fans cheer as Bassarab waits in the ring waving to them. Boos as Barr comes out but with a different look. He's now wearing a lone ranger mask and carrying a bullrope. Barr walks around the ring threatening fans with his bullrope. Barr finally gets in the ring and swings the bullrope wildly around. The Ref warns him and Barr sets his bullrope on the outside by the steel post. The bell rings. Barr charges but Bassarab hip tosses him over. Barr gets up and Bassarab puts him down with a dropkick. Barr staggers up and Bassarab dropkicks him through the ropes. Barr gets up and stumbles back down. Bassarab goes out on the apron. Barr slowly rises and Bassarab nails him with a flying press! The Ref starts the count. Bassarab hurls Barr into the ring and goes to the top rope. Bassarab goes for his flying leg drop but Barr moves! Both men are lying there. Barr uses the ropes to help himself up. Barr stomps away on Bassarab, then chokes him with his boot. Barr picks up Bassarab, kicks him, snapmares him over and nails him with a knee to his back. Barr picks up Bassarab and executes a delayed vertical suplex. Barr hops on the middle ropes and hits an elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Barr raises his fist to the Ref. Barr picks up Bassarab and drops him throat first on the top rope. Barr picks up Bassarab, swings him to the corner and charges in but Bassarab moves and Barr hits hard. The fans fire Bassarab up. He pumps his fists and unloads on Barr, then hoists him up and atomic drops him through the ropes! Barr crawls over to his bullrope. Bassarab goes out after him. Barr grabs his bullrope and blasts Bassarab with it then starts choking him! The Ref signals for the DQ. Barr doesn't care and keeps choking him. The Ref goes out and tries to stop it but Barr pushes him down. The fans cheer as MIKE GEORGE runs out and nails Barr from behind! Barr takes off. George attends to Bassarab while staring down Barr. Lance: Thank goodness Mike George was here. That Jesse Barr is completely unhinged. In the end, Ben Bassarab will challenge Tony St. Clair for the TV title next week. Good for him. Commercial Break Friday...April 2nd...Market Square Arena...The USWA presents...The Happening Lance: Fans, our next closed circuit event will be The Happening. I understand we'll have some matches announced next week. Huge pop as Johnson comes out. Lance: Rocky, first off how's George Wells holding up? Johnson: He's doing a lot better but still has a ways to go. Lance, I can't tell you how mad I am right now. What Gerry Morrow did was sickening! He knew George was kicking his butt all over the place and knew he couldn't beat him on his own. Then after help from his dirt bag friend Carl Fergie, he gets the win. But no, he wasn't satisfied with that. He had to DDT George on the concrete...TWICE!!! George is a good friend of mine and I assure, you I will finish the job on you Morrow. Winning that Mid America title will be icing on the cake brother. Thundering boos as Gerry Morrow arrogantly walks out smiling with his Billionaire's title on his shoulder and a bottle of champagne. Lance: Stand back Morrow. I don't want trouble. Please Rocky, just stay calm. Rocky is visible pissed off. Morrow: Easy, Rock, easy. Look, we are both simply competitors vying for a prestigious title. Hey check dis out, I already have one and would like another. I don't know why you are so upset. Hey, I always liked George. Did he get my bottle of champagne I sent? Rocky walks forward, clenching his fists. Lance: Please Rocky just stay calm. Morrow, you better leave. Morrow: Look, do not worry about George. Here, let's have a toast to him. He has a future with me. I will even give him a choice, he can be my butler or driver. You know what, even better, he can be both, How does that sound? WHAM! Rocky tackles Morrow and unleashes with punches! Security is quick to the scene. Commercial Break "Maniac" Mark Lewin w/Curtis Iaukea vs. Clyde Putnam Lewin just destroys his opponent before putting him out of his misery with the sleeper! The bell rings but Lewin has his eyes rolled back and wrenches away. Iaukea runs in and puts the boots to Putnam. Lewin throws Putnam down and Iaukea leads him to the podium. Iaukea: Carlos Colon! You can't intimidate us! You're friend Rocky Johnson knew he was in a fight that can't be won! I warned you that a true assassin was coming and tomorrow night you will see. You just witnessed what the Maniac will do to you and you have already felt the wrath of Kamala. If Billy Jack Strong had any brains he would waaaaalllllk. Nobody will show up in your corner tomorrow night. Carlos Colon! You will be aaaallll alone and at our mercy! You have yet to sink in the deepest depths. That will happen soon enough. My guest was suppose to be Lancelot Von Erich but by now you all know what happened to poor Lance. Lance was hurt fighting for my honor and I was shocked and sad at what transpired. BOOOOOS! Britton: Hey! I really was! I didn't know he wasn't a Von Erich! I didn't! I went into a deep depression. Not only because of what happened to Lancelot but at all those names Alvin called me. That was uncalled for and down right mean. You know what snapped me out of it? Well, let me show you. Please welcome out tonight's guest Greg Gagne. Gagne comes out with a flat cap and sweater tied around his neck. Behind him is Duke Myers, wearing jeans, a black forearm sleeve and a black T-Shirt. Britton: Hi Greg! So great to see you. I want you to know I've been saying those words of wisdom all week. Gagne: Brenda, I'm so happy to hear that. I can tell it's working because you're glowing. Why don't you say those words right now. I know you have lots on your mind. Gagne: First off, as you know my partner Joe Savoldi suffered injuries a few weeks ago. Being the tough kid he is, he decided to wrestle in the tournament. Well, the injuries caught up and he'll be gone for awhile. So I've decided that the Great Gagne is flying solo and going after some gold. Britton: That's wonderful! And what's Duke doing here? Gagne: Well, after Joe's injuries, me getting a hot dog thrown at me and beers poured on me, I decided to do something about it. Duker here is now my personal bodyguard. You mess with me, you mess with the Duker. Britton: You're so smart. And I heard you had a talk with Lance. Gagne: I did. He's a great kid and after our talk, he's decided to go and find his true self. I told him he didn't have to use the Von Erich name. He's going to be just fine. Look at me. I don't have the pressure of living up to the Gagne name because I've far surpassed anything any other Gagne has ever done. Britton: I agree, you're so successful Gagne: Yes, very successful. So it proves that Lance doesn't need to be a Von Erich to make it in this business. As for me, I am what I am and don't have to prove anything to anybody. And now for the big surprise. You ready Brenda? I want to bring out some old friends, who also don't need to live up to any name. The next Tag team champions of the world, Bruce and Keith Hart, known as Harts Afire! Bruce and Keith come out in shiny red jackets with flaming yellow hearts all over. They all hug. Britton: OH wow! What a happy surprise. Gagne: So glad you guys are back! I can see it now. Harts Afire, USWA tag team champs and the Great Gagne, the USWA World Champ. Brenda, this has been an adventure. Gagne gets in between the Harts and raises their arms as the fans boo. Commercial Break Super Destroyer w/Paul Jones vs. Gary Williams Super D is all over his opponent. Jones tells him to finish him. Super D hoists Williams up on the turnbuckles and hops up. Super D hits the superplex for the pin! The fans go crazy as the Spoiler comes out, spins Jones around and applies the CLAW!! Super D looks out and sees what's going on, them rushes out. Spoiler throws Jones into Super D and punches away on him. Spoiler and Super D brawl into a commercial. Commercial Break Lance: The situation between Super Destroyer and the Spoiler is really escalating. Those two will meet tomorrow night at the Cook Center. Speaking of that card. Dusty Rhodes will go one on one with Ron Fuller. You all saw footage from the tournament as Fuller blasted Dusty with a cowbell and costed him his world title match with Terry Funk. Let's here prerecorded comments from both men. Fuller: Dusty Rhodes, I sent you a fair warning that we had unfinished business. Did you think I was kidding? (Fuller holds up his cowbell) Did this get your attention? Now I get exactly what I want. You and me are going to settle this tomorrow night at the Cook Center and believe me, this time you wont be getting up. Dusty: (bandage on his forehead) Unfinished business. That's what you call it. Ron Fuller, this business is just getting started, you understand? The business is at hand. Now my business is to take care of you and that I will do come tomorrow night babay. Terry Funk! Don't think this is over because you and I have a little unfinished business. But for right now, my business is all on you Ron Fuller!
