I bet Blackman and Severn threw some stiff shots at each other. After that stare, Young better watch himself. Muta's been on a roll and might be the next contender for Gilbert, if Gilbert gets by Adams. I'm glad you're doing more promos. I can never get tired of hearing Cornette talk. His shots at Missy was classic Corny. Looking forward to that big 6 man tag. Wild street fight to end the show. The big story here is the shocking attack of Duggan by the Playboy Club. Well, we all know Rose and Easy Ed can only be babyfaces for so long LOL. I'm sure Duggan is going to come back fighting. LOL, I wonder if Candido will ever accept a handshake. Hansen is doing damage! The heat goes up as Iron and Steel cost Windham and Rotunda a chance at the titles. That 10 man tag would of been a sight to see. Simmons is showing some serious potential. That win over Waylon puts him up a notch. Smothers gets the win over Douglas as he gets ready for his CA title shot against Perez. I think Badd Co. is giving the Midnight's more than they bargained for. I like how you have wrestlers take a break from their current feuds and put two guys together to give the fans a good match. Windham vs. Mando is a perfect example of this. Perez sends a message to Smothers by putting Young down. Snowbirds are closing in on the Guerrero's titles. Good week in Pacific!

The David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament
Day 3! Let's get it on! Bruise Brothers advance to the semi's with a big win over Tatum and Victory. The Texas champs might of been eliminated but can certainly brag about their tournament showing. The heat is on in Texas as The Rich's are somehow still alive. Nightmares give them a fight but the Rich's dirty tactics give them the win. Rich's vs. Bruise Brothers...YES! LOL! I loved how Morrow and Fergie graced the fans with a toast when they officially received the bye. Nice touch. Wild Bunch and Stud Stable put on one hell of a hard hitting match! Wild Bunch advance with a crowd rock'n win. And now the finals! It all comes down to the Wild Bunch and Texas fan favorites the Rich's LOL. I'll tell you what, the Rich's have some brass balls, coming out to Stranglehold while wearing Tennessee colors. Another nice touch with the Wild Bunch using David's old theme song. The stage is set. The fans go wild as the Wild Bunch totally dominate the early moments. Then comes the long Rich heat segment. This had to be their best performance of the weekend. They really worked Bart over. Bart makes the tag but here comes the Ref bump. More heat for the Rich's and it looks like the money is theirs. Hold on! It can't be! It is! Kerry and Kevin Von Erich are in the house!!!!!!! I can't imagine the reaction. The fans go absolutely bonkers! The Von Erich's taking out the Rich's was a moment of pure satisfaction Texas fans will never forget. Even more satisfying was making Tommy bleed with the claw. I couldn't think of a more fitting way to end the show. The Wild Bunch take home the money and trophy. They certainly earned it. I'm glad you came up with this idea Bleh. I had a lot of fun planning this with you and Gene. I'm sure we can all get a bottle of Morrow's champagne and have a toast to another one next year.

The David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament
USWA @ Reunion Arena 1-14-86 The David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament Lance: Thank you very much Marc. This has been one heck of a tournament. It started with thirty two teams and now we're down to the final four. You will see the Continental tag team champs, the Rich's taking on the Central States tag team champs the Bruise Brothers. The Wild Bunch will face the team of "Champagne" Gerry Morrow and "Mr. Money" Carl Fergie. One of those four teams will walk away with one hundred thousand dollars and the David Von Erich Trophy. You will also see Dick Slater defend the Mid America title against Tully Blanchard. And of course, Terry Funk defends the USWA World title against Dusty Rhodes. After all that, I'll turn it back over to Marc for the final match of the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team tournament. Well enough talking, let's go to the ring for the first of two championship matches. Mid-America Title Bout "Unpredictable" Dick Slater (C) vs. Tully Blanchard w/Baby Doll Slater and Tully have quite a stare down during introductions. The bell rings. Baby Doll walks up to Slater, slowly looks him up and down and shakes her head. Slater warns Baby Doll. Tully sneaks around and nails Slater with a high knee to the back. Baby Doll gets out of there as Tully stomps away on Slater. Tully drags Slater to the ropes and chokes him. As the Ref backs him off, Baby Doll slaps Slater across the face. Tully grabs the top rope and drops several knees on Slater. Tully pulls Slater up and hits a delayed vertical suplex 1..2..Kick out. Tully picks up Slater and goes for another suplex but Slater blocks it. Tully tries again but Slater blocks it, then hoists Tully up and suplexes him back. Both men are lying there. Slater regroups. Tully rolls to the apron. Slater swings off the ropes and baseball slides Tully out of the ring. Slater goes to the outside. Baby Doll gets in front of Tully and yells at Slater. Slater grabs Baby Doll by her shoulders and simply lifts her up and out of the way. Slater slams Tully's head on the apron and hurls him back in the ring. Slater climbs to the top ropes. Tully staggers up and Tully crashes down with a double axehandle 1..2..Baby Doll puts Tully's foot on the rope. Slater goes to the ropes and points down at Baby Doll. Tully staggers up, nails Slater from behind and hurls him through the ropes. Tully distracts the Ref while Baby Doll scratches Slater's eyes. Tully goes to the outside, picks up Slater and swings him into the steel post. Tully hurls Slater back in the ring. Tully goes to the top rope. Slater staggers up. Tully jumps down but Slater nails him with a punch to the gut, flipping Tully over. Both men are reeling. Baby Doll grabs a chair and sets it in the corner. Tully is by the ropes. Baby Doll is telling him where the chair is. Slater staggers up. Tully is crawling to the chair. Slater grabs Tully by his hair and drags him back. Slater clamps on a headlock and unloads with punches. Slater swings Tully into the chair. The Ref finally sees the chair and picks it up. Baby Doll gets on the apron and is yelling at the Ref, telling him Slater put the chair there. Slater walks over. The Ref is questioning him. Slater is pointing at Baby Doll and the fans are agreeing with Slater. The Ref holds up the chair and is now pointing at Baby Doll. Tully yanks the chair from the Ref's hands and blasts Slater with it! The Ref signals for the DQ. Slater is on his knees. Tully hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a chair shot! Tully hits Slater multiple times on his back with the chair. Officials storm the ring. Baby Doll gets in the ring and hands Tully the Mid America title. Tully sticks his boot on Slater and holds up the title as the fans boo. Winner of the match by DQ- Dick Slater. Slater retains the title. Lance: Well it certainly appears that Baby Doll's plan backfired. However, they really did a number on Slater. Slater is being helped out by officials. After that poor display, Tully Blanchard doesn't deserve another shot at that title. Well fans, it's time for the first of our David Von Erich tag team tournament semi final matches . I hear the boos starting and that can mean only one thing. Semi-Final Match Continental Tag Team Champions Tommy and Johnny Rich vs. Central States Tag Team Champions The Bruise Brothers The boos are defining as security escorts the Rich's to the ring. The boos get louder when Johnny shows off his T-Shirt that says "World Class Championship Rich's" The boos get even louder as Tommy holds up a sign that says " The Von Erich's got run over on Bad Street" Trash hits the ring which prompts an announcement asking fans to please refrain from throwing any kind of debris into the ring. Security even has to escort a few rowdy fans trying to hop the railing. Thank goodness "Boogie Fever" plays over the speakers and the Bruise Brothers make their way down the aisle. The Bruise Brothers hit the ring as the Rich's flee to the outside. They stay out there during introductions. The bell rings and the Ref threatens the Rich's with a count out. The Rich's start arguing with front row fans which nearly causes a fight. Bruise Brothers go to the outside and the brawl is on! The fans are going wild as the Bruise Brothers go to town on the Rich's. Cash hurls Tommy into the ring as Snowman body slams Johnny on the concrete. It's all Bruise Brothers during the opening moments as the fans are up and cheering while the Rich's bump all over the ring. The tide turns when Tommy trips Snowman from the apron. Snowman staggers into a clothesline by Johnny. Johnny tags in Tommy. Johnny holds Snowman as Tommy comes off the top rope with an elbow to the head. Tommy and Johnny work over Snowman as they break all the rules. Tommy tags in Johnny. Tommy slams Snowman as Johnny comes off the top rope with an elbow drop 1..2..Cash breaks it. Tommy runs in but Cash sends him through the ropes with a headbutt. Cash goes back to his corner. Johnny swings Snowman to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Snowman swings back and clotheslines Johnny down, then makes the hot tag to Cash. Cash relishes the moment. Cash swings Johnny to the ropes and back drops him. Tommy runs in and gets back dropped. Johnny staggers up and gets scooped slammed. Tommy staggers over and gets a scoop slam. Cash picks up the Rich's and knocks their heads together. Cash swings Johnny to the ropes and nails him with a cross body diving headbutt 1..2..Tommy drops an elbow on Cash. Snowman runs in, swings Tommy to the ropes and puts him down with a punch to the face. Tommy rolls to the apron. Tommy reaches in his tights and puts a pair of brass knuckles on his hand. The Bruise Brothers swing Johnny to the ropes and double clothesline him down. The Ref guides Snowman to his corner as Cash hits a jumping elbow drop on Johnny. Cash is covering as Tommy comes off the middle ropes with a brass knuckles shot to Cash's head. As Tommy rises, Snowman takes himself and Tommy over the top rope with a diving clothesline. Johnny puts his arm over Cash (bleeding from his forehead) as the Ref counts 1..2..3! BOOOOOS! Winners of the match- Tommy and Johnny Rich Lance: My goodness, what a match. It was clear to me the Bruise Brothers had the match won until Tommy brought in a pair of brass knuckles. What a travesty. I can't believe it but the Rich's are now going to the finals. They will face the winners of our next match between the Wild Bunch and Morrow and Fergie. I would say the odds would be in the favor of Morrow and Fergie. They bought off the Sheepherders and then received a bye. Meanwhile the Wild Bunch earlier had a hard fought match with the Stud Stable. Speaking of Morrow and Fergie. Last week at the Rupp Arena, Carl Fergie showed up and helped Gerry Morrow defeat George Wells in a ghetto street fight. After the match, Morrow did one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. After they hit George with a champagne bottle, Morrow dropped George with not one but two falling DDT's on the concrete. I understand George is still in the hospital. His friend Rocky Johnson has been with him and will give us an update on George's condition next week. We wish George a speedy recovery. Ok, let's get down to the ring for another semi final match. Semi-Final Match The Wild Bunch (Black Bart and Ron Bass) vs. "Champagne" Gerry Morrow and "Mr. Money" Carl Fergie w/Slick Morrow, Fergie and Slick are in the ring and the arrogance is at an all time high. The Wild Bunch walk down the aisle. They point to Slick, then look back and wave their arms. Wild Bill Irwin comes out with his whip. The fans cheer as they enter the ring. After introductions are made, Slick grabs the mic. Slick: Hold on, hold on, just one sec. Now there's no need for him and his whip. I aint gonna cause any trouble. Matter of fact I'm gonna help you boys. As you all saw. we made Boyd and his Sheepherders some very rich men and they didn't have to do a thing but walk away. By look'n at you hillbilly hicks. (Wild Bunch walk forward) Whoa whoa whoa, I didn't mean that. What I'm trying to say, is you boys can certainly use some green, if you know what I mean. We just the men that can provide. Money talks, so why don't you boys take it and walk. The Wild Bunch converse while Slick pulls out an envelope from his pocket. Slick smiles and holds it out. In the background, Morrow and Fergie smile and hold up champagne bottles as an added bonus. The fans roar as Wild Bill whips the check out of Slick's hand! Bill grabs Slick and hurls him over the top rope! Bart and Bass attack Morrow and Fergie as the bottles fly out of their hands. The Ref gets the bottles and hands them off to a ring attendant then signals for the bell. Bart punches Morrow to his corner and follows up with several kicks and stomps. The Ref guides Bart to his corner. Bass swings Morrow to the ropes and puts him down with a back elbow smash. Bass follows with a knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Bart sticks out his boot. Bass runs Morrow over and slams his head on Bart's boot then tags him in. They swing Morrow to the ropes and double clothesline him down. Fergie runs in. Bart and Bass put him down with a double punch. Wild Bunch continue to control the match. Slick is still reeling on the outside as Bill closely watches him while cracking his whip. A few minutes later, Bass picks up Morrow but Morrow rakes his eyes and pushes him in the corner. Fergie chokes Bass while Morrow puts the boots to him. Bart runs over but the Ref is on him. Morrow chokes Bass on the middle ropes, then holds him out by his legs as Fergie comes off the middle ropes with a knee to the back. Morrow hits a gut wrench suplex on Bass then tags in Fergie. They hoist Bass up and double suplex him back. Fergie drops a knee 1..2..Kick Out. Fergie and Morrow yell at the Ref. After a few minutes of taking turns working over Bass, they swing him to the ropes and go for a double clothesline but Bass ducks, swings back and clotheslines them both down. Bart and the fans fire Bass up. Bass staggers back up and makes the tag to Bart. Bart just hammers away on Morrow and Fergie. Bart slams Morrow. Bart picks up Fergie and hangs him upside down on the turnbuckles. Bart kicks away until the Ref's count of 4. Bart grabs Fergie's hands and yanks him out of there. Bart hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a knee drop 1..2..Morrow kicks him on the head. Bass runs in and pounds Morrow in the corner. Slick runs over but Bill grabs Slick by his shirt and pushes him down. The Ref guides Bass back to his corner. Bart picks up Fergie but Morrow nails Bart from behind with a knee to the back. Bass runs over and punches Morrow through the ropes. On the outside Bill is watching Slick. Morrow grabs a champagne bottle. The Ref is tied up with Bass. Fergie picks Bart up. Morrow yells up at Fergie and shows him the bottle. Just as Morrow throws the bottle, Bart lowblows Fergie. Bart catches the bottle. Bass sees this and continues to distract the Ref. Morrow tries to get back in the ring but Bill runs over and holds him by his legs. Bart opens the bottle, takes a swig, then blasts Fergie over the head!!! Bart covers. The Ref turns around and counts 1..2..3! HUGE POP!!! Winners of the Match- The Wild Bunch Lance: (smiling) Well I can't say I condone the actions of the Wild Bunch, it was nice to see Morrow and Fergie get a taste of their own medicine. Unbelievable. Fans, the finals are now set. The Wild Bunch will take on the Rich's. One of those two teams will walk away with one hundred thousand dollars and the David Von Erich trophy. Texas All-Star will have the honor of showcasing that tremendous match. Our next match is for all the marbles, the USWA world title. It happens next. An Advertisement is shown for the next USWA closed circuit event Friday...April 2nd...Market Square Arena...The USWA presents...The Happening! USWA World Title Bout Terry Funk (C) vs. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes Before the match, Terry Funk storms the podium. Funk: My brother Dory and I were cheated out of the tournament! Those two pukes Casey and Mantell couldn't lace up a Funk's boot. So you tell me Lance, how is it possible they could beat us Funks? (Funk pokes Lance) Tell me Lance! Tell me! Lance: I don't know Terry, maybe they were the better team. Funk stares daggers through Lance. Funk: You're just like all the rest. Everybody is against the Funks. You know who's going to pay? That fat pig Dusty Rhodes! Oh yea, I heard he was back stage patting those pukes on the back and having a good laugh at our expense. Dusty Rhodes! Tonight I'm going to beat that putrid body of yours til it's black and blue with bruises and then I'm going to make you bleed like the pig you are! Terry races to the ring. Lance: That man is out of his mind. Never the less, our world title match happens right now. Funk is running around the ring. He picks up the timekeeper and pushes him over, then grabs a mic. "Dusty! Get out here you fat pig!" Funk gets in the ring and pushes the ring announcer. The place erupts as Dusty Rhodes comes down the aisle! Dusty gets a mic "The talk'n is ova Terry Funk! It's time for a Texas ass whipp'n!" The fans cheer as Dusty gets on the apron, grabs the top rope and gives Funk a big point. Funk gets out of the ring as Dusty enters. The introductions are made and the bell rings. Dusty goes out after Funk. Funk slides back in the ring. Dusty slides in but Funk is all over him. Funk swings Dusty in the corner and charges in but Dusty nails Funk with his boot. Funk staggers back and falls down. Dusty walks over and gives Funk's hand a stomp. Dusty picks up Funk, swings him into the corner and follows with a running clothesline. Dusty hops on the turnbuckles. The fans count along as Dusty punches Terry 10 times. Dusty hops down. Funk staggers out, swinging in the air. Dusty picks up Funk and atomic drops him. Dusty mimics Funk as Funk stands there with his legs twisted. Dusty spins his arms and puts Funk down with a bionic elbow 1..2..Funk gets his foot on the ropes. Dusty reaches down but Funk rakes his eyes, grabs him by his trunks and pulls him through the ropes. Funk regroups and staggers around before going to the apron. Dusty staggers up and Funk puts him down with a double axehandle. Funk picks up Dusty and slams his head on the timekeeper's table. Funk drags Dusty over and slams his head on the apron, then hurls him back in the ring. Dusty is bleeding. Funk picks up Dusty and chokes him on the top rope, then flings him back. Funk picks up Dusty and hits a swinging neckbreaker 1..2..Dusty gets his foot on the rope. Funk pulls the Ref by his shirt. The Ref threatens with a DQ and Funk reluctantly lets him go. Funk picks up Dusty, swings him to the ropes and flips him over with a knee to the gut. Funk picks up Dusty and executes a rib breaker, then picks him up and drops him with a Russian Legweep 1..2..Dusty barley gets his shoulder up. Funk is furious and yells at the Ref, even raising a fist to him. Funk picks up Dusty and hits a shin breaker, then quickly follows with a spinning toehold but Dusty rakes his eyes, grabs him by his trunks and hurls him out of the ring. Dusty uses the ropes to help himself up. The fans are up and cheering as Dusty pumps his fists. Funk gets on the apron. Funk goes hysterical and finally is able to reach the ropes. Dusty swings Funk to the ropes and clamps on the sleeper! Funk's arms are flailing and he hits the Ref. The Ref goes down. Dusty wrenches away as Funk goes down. Funk is out. BOOOS as RON FULLER comes to the ring with a cowbell. Ron slides in the ring and blasts Dusty from behind with the cowbell! Ron goes over to revive the Ref. Ron gives Dusty a stomp before leaving. Funk is just laid out over Dusty. The Ref crawls over and counts 1....2....3! Massive boos. The Ref lays the title across Funk, then signals for help. Officials help Funk out of there. Before they can help Dusty, Ron Fuller, Rob Fuller and Jimmy Golden hit the ring. Rob and Jimmy hold the unconscious Dusty as Ron slaps him around. Ron says something to Rob and Jimmy. They smile and set Dusty up for a spike piledriver. The place goes nuts as the FABULOUS ONES (Bandages on their heads) hit the ring swinging chairs! Stud Stable bails. Fabs attend to Dusty while staring down the Stud Stable, Winner of the match and still USWA World Champ- Terry Funk Lance: Well once again we get a tainted victory. I knew Ron Fuller had issues with Dusty Rhodes but that was totally uncalled for. Thank goodness the Fabulous Ones were around, obviously still showing effects from that mysterious assault yesterday. Very volatile situation between those groups. Well fans, I've enjoyed being a part of this historic event. And now I get to enjoy the final match of the David Von Erich Memorial tag team tournament as a fan. Without further adieu, I will turn the time over to you Marc Lowrance. Take it way.

The David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament
You the man Gene! Two awesome shows in one day! Texas Champs Tatum and Victory take down the SPC, well with a little help from Dark Journey. I've got to give them credit, Tatum and Victory are doing pretty well. Bruise Brothers advance with a DQ win. Not only do the Highwaymen stay strong but they get some good heat by taking out the Ref. After getting hit with the Moondog's bones and a chain from the Highwaymen, I wonder how much of a toll this will have on the Bruise Brothers for tomorrow's matches. I couldn't wait to see what you had planned for the Rich's. LOL! I can't believe these guys are still alive. From the 'Tom Sawyer' theme to the T-Shirts, these guys go way over the top. I'm sure the fans were looking forward to the Fabs saving the day but not tonight. Who attacked the Fabs???? I couldn't stop laughing when RPG said they did that to each other. LOL that was freakn hilarious. Very creative booking and gives the Rich's even more heat, if that's possible. RPG with another great line about the Nightmares agreeing to a technical match with a team called the Technicians. RPG was rolling tonight. Moondogs strike again and actually cost the Technicians the match. Nice twist. Once again you had me cracking up with the Slick/Boyd conversation. Looks like Boyd loves him some champagne. Boyd takes the check before Luke eats it LOL. Great heat for Priceless. Will the pay off be worth it? We'll find out tomorrow. "The old Milwaukee that you and the Dynamite Duo drink" LOL RPG! Dynamite Duo and Gunslingers battle to a clean draw. Good change of pace with all the craziness going on. Thanks for plugging the upcoming closed circuit event. Just when I thought things couldn't get funnier with RPG's comments, along comes Buddy. "Rick Harris was worse, I don't know what happened to him" Super Destroyer Two" The Rich's mama's must be proud" Buddy is gold! Wild Bill comes out to counter Johnny V and it works. LOL! Irwin cracking the whip and scaring Johnny with the powder was hilarious. The Wild Bunch are looking dadgum good. The truce is over and the fight is on! Bullet and Taylor have things going their way until The Tennessee Stud makes an appearance to make sure his family advances. Looks like the family feud is in full throttle. What a way to end the show! The "Mr. Pro" open challenges have been one of my favorite segments and I knew something big would come out of these. Big indeed as Bruiser Brody answers the challenge and gives "Mr. Pro the lesson. Can't go wrong giving the Texas fans an appearance by Brody. Damn Gene, this is going to be a hard act to follow. Tremendous job!

The David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament
LOL! RPG doesn't waste any time warming up to a wider audience. Poor Lance and Lowrance. They took some verbal shots. The matches start on a high note as the Dynamite Duo take down the very charismatic duo (especially Gagne) of High Fly'n Fever. Gagne is going to be mad, so watch out! Dynamite Duo could be the sleeper team in the tournament. I'm so glad Buddy made an appearance. Very smart move showcasing Buddy and Bock on a major network. I think Buddy and Dusty are going to have to cross paths soon. We could make some money on that match. My boys the Texas Rangers have a nice showing but those sneaky Fabulous Blonds walk away with the win. Vicious bump by Lonestar. Devil's Duo make a mistake by trying to brawl with the Wild Bunch. Wild Bunch advance with a dominating win. This was a nice throwback match from their feud in Texas and the Wild Bunch put a final stamp on that. I wonder how Paul Jones will react? Bock looks like a big deal (as he should) and makes his intentions known. He's competing in the tournament and wants a shot at Funk. Funk vs. Bock needs to happen! HAHAHA! BOOOOO! Bullet and Taylor totally deprived the fans of a solid cover of 'We are family' by Vin Man and Bodacious. Vinnie getting escorted out was hilarious. Some good fun going on. Cool seeing Taylor get the fall. Don't worry, Vinnie's crew will rebound LOL. I have to say, Bullet and Taylor gelled well. Stud Stable and Glamour Boys gives us another fun match. Loved the interactions on the mic. Glamour Boys once again prove they can fight but the Stud Stable squeak out the win to advance. Awesome first show Gene! Nice job with the commentary and in between match promos. Good work.

Look at that, British Steel finally pulls off a win over the Hart Foundation. That's a big time confidence booster. Wild Bulls don't disappoint their Bullpen fans, with that decisive win over Zenk and Perez. Thundercats get back on the winning track. It was only a matter of time before the Bullpen and Wild Dogs crossed paths. Pacific better amp up security. Midnight's win this round over Badd Co. but these teams will fight another day. Taylor is racking up the wins. I know Orton and Rose gave the fans a solid match. DQ finish keeps the feud hot. My guys Iron and Steel drop one to Windham and Rotunda but they'll get a chance for payback at Aloha Spectacular. Muta ends the night with his innovating moonsault. LOL, Candido is going to have a breakdown. I would of bought a ticket for that Hansen/Bigelow match. Security is now on high alert every time the Dog Pound wrestles. Guerreros retain tonight, but they have those pesky Snowbirds at Aloha Spectacular. Simmons impresses by taking Orton to the limit. Simmons is a star in the making. Aloha Spectacular looks stacked. These feuds have been built up so well. I'm looking forward to the pay offs.

The David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament
Texas takes the baton and runs with it! Opening match gets the fans going as the Nightmares and Jayhawks tear into each other. Pringle's interference backfires and Nightmares keep the momentum going to gain the victory. Big win for the Nightmares and Continental. Pringle's temper gets the best of him as he slaps Jaggers. LOL big mistake! Jayhawks might of walked in as heels but defiantly got over with the fans on the way out. Fun way to start the show. One thing I like about tournaments is matches like the Technicians vs. Armstrongs. Great fast paced technical match up. Roop's experience comes into play and the Technicians advance. I like the little moment at the end when the Armstrongs took it as a lesson to learn from. Good sportsmanship. In the midst of all these chaotic brawls, this was a refreshing change of pace. LOL, on the USA network, we knew we would get a Luscious spot. I'm loving the suspense. Morrow, Fergie and Slick's entrance and ring gear was, well priceless. This didn't seem to faze Cooley and Armstrong as they come out swinging. Fantastic showing by Cooley and Armstrong until we get one of the all time best finishes. The champagne bottle comes into play but this time doesn't actually shatter. LOL what a great finish. Fergie should get an academy award for that selling. Happy fan favorites Good and Plenty go up against the violent Sheepherders. I was looking forward to this intriguing match up. They put on a very entertaining match. Boyd spoils everything with a flagpole shot on the Candyman. Good and Plenty stay strong while the Sheepherders advance. Other teams better be on the look out for Boyd. HAHAHA! YES! Here we go, the Fiesta Garden. I'm sure the USA network scored high in this segment. LOL, Al even gets Slinker to say "Hello Ron" Al takes advantage of the wider audience and tears into poor Brenda. That comes to a stop when Lancelot comes out. Lance gives Al a piece of his mind but we all know Al gets the last word. Al and Slinker do a number and handcuff and gag Lance. Al goes off and takes away all of Lance "Von Erich's" credibility. Man, that was a verbal assault. The license topped it all off. I couldn't stop laughing when Lance apologized and rushed out while still handcuffed. LOL nice touch! After this, I'm not sure if Brenda will want anymore of this. Unless she can get somebody like Greg Gagne to fight for her. Show couldn't of ended on a higher note as the Gunslingers upset the Funks to advance! Terry's antics had me rolling. The Gunslingers were already the top babyfaces but this win catapults them to a whole new level. They have to be considered favorites to win it now. I know Sunshine loved this. Oh man, how will this effect Terry in his upcoming title defense against Dusty???? Awesome first show Bleh. Can't wait for Gene's shows!

The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. The Highwaymen Duncum and Hickerson enter the ring wearing their long trench coats and cowboy hats. They look focused and mean. Cheers as the RPMs hit the ring wearing their trademark spandex attire. The RPMs don't look as confident tonight. Word has it that they really took that TV loss to the Rose Cousins pretty hard. Pacific Coast Wrestling
Hase shows his skills in a good showcase match. Big win for Taylor as he makes Mando submit. Blackman gets the win over Candido but this feud is far from over. Great promo by Adams as he heads into his big title match with Gilbert. I like Anvil getting his two cents in. No doubt with Big Bubba around, Cornette wont be afraid to shoot his mouth off. Rose and Easy Ed win a battle over the Crazy Gang but I have to wonder what's going on between Duggan and Rose. Things are heating up as Pacific heads into the Aloha Spectacular.

Continental Championship Wrestling
RPG opens up the first Continental show stating nothing but facts of what went down at Gulf Coast Clash. The Continental title is going to be a huge deal judging by all the talent coming in to compete for it. Fujinami throws his name in and has an impressive debut. Will be interesting watching the Japanese superstar in Continental. Bullet Bob is coming after Dory but right now is focused on the tournament. YES! I was hoping Chicky and Ayala would cross paths and it happened. These guys will be trouble. Poor Bruno just lost a big henchman. Dundee and Street tune up for the tournament. WOW! Dundee and Barnes in a street fight on TV! Oh yea! Slick and Fergie are lucky to be alive and lucky Bad News decided to cool down and not appear live tonight. It's scary when a guy like Bad News takes time out to think about what he's going to do next. And here we go. The most hated men in the game, the Rich's are back on TV. LOL they take shots at everybody and I mean everybody! I can't imagine what it's going to be like when they're in Texas. They're going to have every team gunning for them as well as the fans. It's going to be nuts! I really don't think they're going to make it out alive. I don't think the Rich's can ever be babyfaces again. Fergie knows how to invest and Dory Funk is a great investment. Bullet could be in serious trouble. Good thing his sons are around. I don't know why but the sight of Slick and Dory conversing just cracked me up. All hell breaks loose as Brody runs in to help Olympia from a Platinum Club beatdown. Even if I had 3 men by my side, I still wouldn't want to mess with Brody. AWWWW man bummer, thanks to that no good Barnes, the Iceman is gone. BOOOOOO! It looks like the Dynamite Duo/Sheepherders feud still rages on. At least they have Dundee to take care of Barnes. Now they just need somebody to counter Boyd. Great stuff Gene! Next stop, the tournament!

Texas All Star Wrestling
It's simple things like Dusek meeting the Wild Bunch in front of the arena that capture this territory so well. A coin toss determines it will be Bass and Bart competing in the tournament. The Cartel look impressive as they tune up for the tournament. Even Marc Lowrance had to give them their due. Great job hyping up the tournament and reminding us who's representing Texas. Ok it's official, I think the Rich's are going to die in Texas! OMG they took some serious shots at the Von Erichs! I wonder if Kerry and Kevin caught wind of this up in NY? I have to say, I think the Rich's are the most hated team in the entire game. Damn that was some nuclear heat. It was one thing when they were doing this in Continental but now that the fans in Texas got to see this first hand, it could cause a full blown riot. The Texas teams will be out for some Rich blood. No doubt about it, the ratings will be way up during the Rich tournament matches LOL. Thank goodness the Gunslingers were up next. Very smart placement. Gunslingers are fired up and have to be considered favorites. Speaking of heat, it's now time for the Fiesta Garden. Well it was only a matter of time before Al got a bodyguard. He gets none other than 27x karate champ and former officer of the law, Ron Slinker! What a pair! HAHAHAHA Al and his shots at Brenda have become my favorite part of the Fiesta Garden. He cracks me up. But he better watch it because Brenda has a plan. Al almost gets in serious trouble as White Lightning Tim Horner has enough and challenges him on the spot! Awesome segment as Slinker earns his money and helps Al get the win. Al's the man! Luscious is coming in with some serious hype. I can't wait to find out what this is all about. The suspense is killing me LOL. Kansas Jayhawks take care of business and Pringle tells them they better not let him down. The managers must be feeling the pressure because Paul Jones said the same thing to the Devil's Duo. Awesome main event as we get closure to one of the best feuds in the game. Wild Bunch take "Killer's Gang" down and advance to the tournament. Meanwhile Miller doesn't seem to impressed with Brooks anymore. Great go home show to the DVE tournament. I'm looking forward to this epic event. So many great teams competing. It's going to be a wild 3 days!

USWA
USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 2-5-86 Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA network. We're just one week away from the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Three nights of incredible action as thirty two tag teams from the USWA, Texas All-Star and the newly named Continental wrestling compete for 100.000 dollars and the David Von Erich Trophy. All that will be televised right here on the USA network. I'm especially excited about going to the Will Rogers Coliseum on night one. Also at the tournament you will see Dick Slater defend the Mid America title against Tully Blanchard. We'll hear from both men tonight. And of course Terry Funk will pull double duty as he will team with his brother Dory in the tournament and will also be defending the USWA World Title against the man set for action right now, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Let's go to the ring. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes vs. Trey Steinbach The fans are up and cheering as Dusty hoists Steinbach up and drops him with a delayed vertical suplex. Dusty swings off the ropes and hits a jumping elbow drop for the win! WHAM! Dusty's nailed from behind by Terry Funk! Terry picks up his branding iron. He swings Dusty to the ropes and tries to clothesline him with it but Dusty ducks, swings back and clotheslines Funk down! Dusty swings off the ropes and hits a jumping elbow drop on Funk! The fans go crazy when Dusty picks up Funk's branding iron and holds it up. Dusty pushes the iron down on Funk's chest and leaves a mark! Funk is screaming in pain and rolling around frantically. Dusty throws the branding iron. The fans cheer as Dusty does the title motion around his waist. Dusty heads to the podium. Dusty: Terry Funk! Did you forget who you was mess'n with? Last week you said this was war. Brother, we declared war on each other a long time ago. Many many battles and a lot of blood spilled but the war continues to rage on. I won tonight's battle but the war will be won next week when I put you out to pasture and take that USWA world title away. That will be an American Dream ending. I'll see ya in Texas Funk! Commercial Break Lance: Wow, Dusty Rhodes just sent a message to the world champ Terry Funk. Their saga continues at the David Von Erich Memorial tag team tournament. Tonight, you will see many teams tuning up for the tournament. You will also see Gerry Morrow take on George Wells in a grudge match. Tony St. Clair defends his TV title against Big Man Steel. So let's keep things moving and go to the ring. The Stud Stable (Rob Fuller and Jimmy Golden) vs. Gary Williams and Neil Greenwood Stud Stable toy with and humiliate their opponents before finishing them off with a spiked piledriver. Ron Fuller joins them at the podium. Rob: Well now, everybody is talking about this big high dollar tournament coming up. Yes indeed. And everybody also knows that myself and cousin Jimmy are going to win that grand cash prize. Jimmy: That's right! And we heard those Fabulous Nones shooting off their mouths and saying they hope we cross paths in the tournament. Those boys love getting a good beating don't they. (laughs) Ron: I told you, the Stud Stable is running things around here. Rob and Jimmy are walking away with the trophy. Now, Dusty Rhodes is prancing around like he's king of the mountain. Dusty, don't get to comfortable because like I said, you and I have unfinished business boy. Commercial Break Carlos Colon vs. Peter Crowell Colon is on fire tonight and wins the match with a flying clothesline from the top rope! Colon heads to the podium. Lance: Carlos, tomorrow night at the Rupp Arena, it's you and Kamala one on one. Last week at the Roanne Fieldhouse, Iaukea, Lewin and Kamala attacked their own man TNT and did a number on him. This is one evil group. Are you mentally and physically prepared for Kamala? Colon: Iaukea and his goons have been on a path of destruction. Kamala has hurt me very badly but here I am, standing and ready to fight. Kamala! I bring the fight to you tomorrow night! Commercial Break The Devil's Duo w/Paul Jones vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Paul Jones is very vocal tonight and makes sure the Duo is focused. Vines executes a backbreaker on Dutro and holds him while Sword comes off the top rope with a stomp to the chest for the win. They head to the podium. Super Destroyer joins them. Jones: (looks at the Duo) I want you two to look at this man (looks at Super Destroyer) This man has a killer instinct and is going to put the Spoiler out of wrestling. I want the two of you to get your killer instinct back. You failed against those clowns the Bruise Brothers and last week you two bungled an opportunity for a TV title match. I will not be embarrassed at the DVE tag team tournament! You boys better only have winning the whole damn thing on your mind. Got it! Jones and Super Destroyer storm off. Vines and Sword look pissed then walk off. Commercial Break "Champagne" Gerry Morrow vs. George Wells The fans boo as Morrow flaunts his Billionaire's title. Huge pop as Wells runs to the ring. He slides in but Morrow blasts him with his title! Morrow heads to the outside, grabs a bottle of cheap Thunderbird, then goes back in the ring. Morrow pours the bottle all over Wells. Morrow laughs and heads to the podium. Lance: Ok, alright, that was just despicable. Morrow: Oh I know why you're upset. You thought I wasted de good champagne on him. HAHAHA don't worry Lance, George is not worth de good stuff. I used the cheapest on him. Enough about George. De big news is I have a true partner and friend I can count on. Of course I'm referring to none other than Mr. Money Carl Fergie. Together we will win de tournament and we will become even richer together. If dat is even possible HAHAHA. Lance, you really should think about investing in our team. Good day. Commercial Break The South Pacific Connection (Siva and Cocoa) vs. Trent Watkins and Carl Kellerman Siva and Cocoa double back drop Watkins. Kellerman runs in and gets a double chop. Siva and Cocoa hop up on opposite turnbuckles and crash down with diving headbutts to get the win. Lance: Fantastic win for the South Pacific Connection as they head into the tournament with some steam. Boos as Greg Gagne comes out. Gagne: Oh yea everybody is happy and pumped up about this tournament. Well I'm not! Last week, those fools the Bruise Brothers beat up my partner Joe so bad he had to be stretchered out of the arena. Not only that but some fat slob fan poured a beer on my head! Joe's a tough kid and he will be at the tournament. But we're not going to take this abuse anymore! I'm serving notice to every team out there. High Fly'n Fever is coming after all of you! Lance: Ok, a very threatening Greg Gagne. We'll be back. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, I have some great news. Curt Hennig is coming back to the USWA. Let's take a special look at Curt Hennig. "The Heat is on" by Glen Frey plays The video shows Curt Hennig swimming in the ocean, running on the beach, playing golf, driving a convertible and working out at the gym. "Curt Hennig is on his way" Lance: We certainly look forward to Curt Hennig's arrival. Let's go back to the ring. "The Real Thing" Rip Morgan vs. Arnie Goldstein Rip just tears his opponent up before finishing him off with a big boot to the head! Rip stomps and huffs around the ring. Commercial Break Lance: We're set for our next match but Rip Morgan is still stomping around the ring. Rip finally exits the ring. The participant for the next match comes out and it's Nord the Barbarian. Rip stomps and huffs then sees Nord stomping and huffing. Both men start stomping and huffing around each other. They start yelling at each other. Officials come out to escort Rip back. Rip finally leaves but continues yelling at Nord. Nord gets in the ring for his match. Nord the Barbarian vs. Todd Rooney Nord is very aggressive and finishes things off quick with a devastating clothesline! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the 'Beauty Shop' sign then pans down to Brenda Britton Britton: I'm not happy and I have a lot to say. Just listen to this. So, a couple days ago I got this special package in the mail. It was so beautifully wrapped with heart decorations on it. I opened it and it was a tape that said 'watch me'. Needless to say I was excited. I watched it and it was that no good Alvin on his third rate show. You know what he said? He referred to me...(deep breath) he referred to me as a rat!!! A rat! (Fans laugh) Hey! That's not funny! I was so mad. I was in tears. Oh I was so upset. Well I'm not upset anymore because I have a plan. I'll get to that in a minute. Right now I want to bring out tonight's guest, Lance Von Erich. Cheers as Lance comes out. Britton: (smiles and slides her finger down his arm) Hi Lance, oh my you sure have big muscles. Lance: (smiles) Thank you Ms. Britton. Britton: (seductive smile) Oh please, call me Brenda. Now you heard what that Latin Loser Alvin called me right? Lance: Yes, I did. Britton: Well I was thinking. I need a knight in shinning armor to defend me. I need somebody to go down to Texas next weekend and put that Alvin in his place. Well, who better than a Von Erich. The Von Erich's are Texas toughest and a Von Erich should be at the big tournament. You're a true Von Erich right? Lance: Well... Britton: Wait a minute...Lance...Lancelot! Yes! You're my Lancelot! (starts stroking his hair) What do you say Lancelot? Will you defend my honor? Lance: (Smiles) Well I guess it wouldn't hurt if I went down and had a word with him. Brenda gives Lance a huge hug. She finally lets go. Britton: You're my hero Lancelot! Thank you, thank you so much! (looks at the camera) You're in big trouble now Alvin! I'll be back on the Beauty Shop in two weeks and guess what? My guess will be Lancelot, my hero. Until then tooooodles. Brenda gives Lance another hug and kisses him several times on the cheek as the segment ends. Commercial Break Kamala w/Curtis Iaukea vs. Ray Glader Kamala puts Glader down with a thrust shot, picks him up and slams him down. Kamala swings off the ropes and finishes things off with a body splash. As Iaukea leads Kamala to the podium, footage is shown of Kamala, Lewin and Iaukea brutally attacking TNT. Lance: I can't believe you would do that to one of your loyal men. Kamala is walking around slapping his belly while Mark Lewin joins them. Iaukea: TNT was a weak child! You know what you with a weak link? You cut it off! Soon there will be another man joining us. This man is a true assassin. This man is pure evil and this man will join our quest to destroy all who stand in our way. That means you Rocky Johnson! You Billy Jack Strong and most of all you Carlos Colon! You will feel the wrath of Kamala tomorrow night! Be prepared! Commercial Break Bodacious (Sommers and Donovan) w/The Vin Man vs. Sam Smith and William Hillman Vinnie is all smiles as Bodacious wins the match with a double hot shot on the top rope. On the way out, Vinnie looks in the camera and says "You're looking at the tournament winners, no doubt about it...yea!" Lance: Bodacious gets the win and look very confident as they head into the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team tournament. Fans, that all starts next Friday Night as this show will kick things off at the Will Rogers Coliseum. I... George Wells storms out with a bandaged up head. George: Lance, I'm getting real tired of wearing bandages on my head! Morrow! Tomorrow night at the Rupp Arena, it's gonna be me and you in a ghetto street fight! You're not the only one who can get down. Get ready cuz I'm gonna put a thump'n on your head! Lance: Ok, Wells and Morrow in a ghetto street fight tomorrow night at the Rupp Arena. I would hate to be Gerry Morrow right now. Commercial Break Lance: I'm here with the Mid America Champ Dick Slater. Dick, you'll be defending that title against Tully Blanchard at the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Slater: Lance, I'm a fighter and I'm a fighting champion. I'll be damned if I'm going to let Tully waltz in here and take this here title. That aint going to happen and if.... Boos as Tully and Baby Doll stroll out. Lance: Wait a minute, just hold on, I don't want any trouble out here. Tully: Relax, we're both civilized men. (looks at Slater and smirks) well at least I am. Just.... Slater decks Tully! Baby Doll screams at Slater while comforting Tully. Slater: (looking down at Tully) Boy, you talk to much. Lance: (Smiling) We'll be right back Commercial Break The Elvis version of Also Sprach Zarathustra plays A man with his back turned is wearing a king's crown and cape. "The real King of professional wrestling will appear on February 19th" Lance: Well it appears the self proclaimed King of wrestling will grace us with an appearance in 2 weeks. Fans, I can tell you Tully Blanchard was in an uproar. I'm not so sure he should of messed with Dick Slater. That match will take place next weekend along with Terry Funk defending the USWA world title against Dusty Rhodes. We all saw earlier as Dusty branded Terry with his own branding iron. Their match next weekend will be like they say, a war. All that, plus 32 teams vying for 100.000 dollars and the David Von Erich trophy. 3 nights of incredible action, all here on the USA network. It will be a historic event, one that I'm excited to be a part of. I've spoken to Marc Lowrance in Texas as well as Charlie Platt in Continental and they share the same excitement. Fans, our TV title main event when we come back. Commercial Break TV Title Bout Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair (C) w/Les Thornton vs. Big Man Steel Last week Steel defeated Jeff Sword in the newly announced TV title contender's match to earn tonight's shot. Steel patiently waits as Thornton waves the UK flag in front of him. Tony smiles at Steel as he unstraps the title and holds it up in front of him. The bell rings but Thornton is still waving the flag and insulting Steel. Steel grabs Thornton by his throat, lifts him up and choke slams him down! Tony charges but Steel mows him over with a shoulder block. Thornton slowly rolls out of the ring and falls to the outside. It's all Steel as he works over Tony with power moves. Steel swings Tony to the corner and follows with a running clothesline that takes Tony off his feet. Steel swings him to the opposite corner and hits another running clothesline. Tony staggers forward and drops face first to the canvas. Steel picks up Tony and slams him down then follows with a big elbow drop 1..2..Les pulls Tony's foot under the rope and screams at the Ref. The Ref sees it and tells Steel. Steel gets up and goes to the ropes to give Les a warning. Tony staggers up but Steel turns around and scoop slams him down. Steel picks up Tony and swings him to the corner and charges in with an avalanche but Tony just collapses and Steel hits the turnbuckles hard. Tony rolls out of the ring to regroup. Les goes over to help. The Ref starts the count. Steel rolls out of the ring. Les runs away. Les gets on the apron and starts yelling at the Ref and pointing at Steel. The Ref goes over and starts arguing with Les. Boos as Kevin Kelly runs out, grabs Steel and rams him into the steel post! Kelly runs to the back. Les hops down. Tony picks up Steel and rolls him back in the ring. Tony swings off the ropes and finishes up with a showboating senton 1..2..3! Boooooos as Tony holds his TV title high while Les waves the UK flag behind him. Lance: What a shame. Big Man Steel was on the verge of winning the TV title until Kevin Kelly showed up and ruined everything. Steel comes over obviously still feeling the affects. Steel: Kelly! This place isn't big enough for both of us. Tomorrow night, Rupp arena, if you've got the guts. You and me, loser leaves town! This all ends, got it! Lance: Well I think I would have to agree. The Rupp Arena is shaping up to be a big night of USWA action. Well fans, I'll see you next week from the Will Rogers Coliseum as we kick off the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament.

Doesn't get more hard hitting than a Simmons/Anvil match. Wild Bulls are quickly getting over especially with the Bullpen LOL. Iron & Steel pull off a huge win over Windham and Rotunda. Loving the Atlas/Cameron pairing. Burke and Black Gold win round 1 against the Hollywood Knights. Adams gets the fall in the 6 man match and now gets a shot at Gilbert's Pacific Title. I've been waiting for this huge match up. Can't wait for Aloha Spectacular. Scorpio and Hase defiantly got the fans warmed up. Nobody gets up from Stan's lariat! Stan could go all the way in Pacific. WOW! Badd Co. score another win over the Midnight Express. Badd Co has been built up so well here that I can't call it an upset. Candido gets some shine but Perez is really coming into his own and has a firm grip on the CA title. Damn good matches!

Love the feud going on between Sheik and Adnan! This one's going to get bloody!

With the addition of Hase, the Snowbirds are well represented around the globe. They score another win over the Guerreros. The Guerreros titles might be in serious jeopardy. British Steel gets a good rub tonight as Missy offers to help them out. Taylor will no doubt be a strong influence. Good back story here. Will they finally get that big win over the Hart Foundation? Black Gold debut and have their sights set on the Hollywood Knights. Speaking of Hollywood Knights, they give Zenk a lot of distractions which allow Smothers to get the win and an upcoming shot at Perez. That match might steal the show at the Aloha Spectacular. Duggan gets a big win over Boone and earns himself and Rose a tag title shot. I wonder why Rose and Easy Ed weren't to excited? We'll see how this plays out. With all the great feuds going, the Aloha Spectacular will be nothing less than spectacular.

Gulf Coast Clash has arrived! Mr. Pro gets focused (and bends the rules) and defeats Ricky Gibson. Welcome to Pro Wrestling Jeff Jarrett. Man, Barnes gave the kid quite a beating until Dundee stops it with the towel. I will give Jarrett credit, he hung in there. Chicky turns heel and takes the title with one painful lowblow. It might take Armstrong a while to recuperate from that shot. Chicky was such a great heel in Puerto Rico and I cant wait to see the heat he draws here. Looks like a new feud is born between Parsons/Dynamite Duo and the Sheepherders and Boyd. Morrow comes to town and helps his new partner by blasting Taylor with a champagne bottle! With the money Fergie and Morrow have, buying more bottles isn't a problem LOL. I can't wait to see these guys in the tournament. Nightmares draw first blood but the Moondogs get payback quick. I hope we get another gimmick match. I'm enjoying this feud. Mulligan gets some big time revenge by pinning Khan and clamping the claw on Humperdink! All is well until the Moondogs hit the ring and leave Mulligan and son laying. Moondogs caused a lot of havoc tonight. LOL, Funk is so awesome! Only he would start a match with a promo. Funk and Bullet are putting on a show when DORY hits the ring and blasts Bob with the branding iron! Oh yea looks like we're going to get another round of a Funk/Armstrong family feud! The cage match lived up to my chaotic expectations and then some. Huge twist as Matt Borne turns out to be a traitor Olympia. Poor DJ must go. I do like the attention he's been getting in this game and I hope it continues wherever he ends up. The Platinum Club better be on high alert because Brody and Olympia coming after them! This was truly a fitting way to close out the Twin States name. Great job Gene!

USWA @ The Roanne Fieldhouse 1-30-86 Powerage vs. Hard Knocks These teams have unfinish business since a double DQ eliminated them from the DVE tag tournament. The finish sees Bassarab dropkick Myers out of the ring, then climbs to the top rope. Doring hits a snap suplex on Flowers and Bassarab follows with a flying leg drop to get a satisfying win! Billy Jack Strong vs. TNT w/Curtis Iaukea After a hard hitting few minutes, Iaukea gets on the apron and holds Billy Jack. TNT charges but Billy moves and TNT hits Iaukea off the apron. Billy grabs TNT and hits a German suplex for the 1..2..3! "Bulldog" Mike George vs. "The Lone Wolf" Jesse Barr George pins Barr with a quick roll up. After the match, Barr has a complete meltdown. He flips over chairs and even flips over the announcer's table. He almost starts a riot by wanting to fight several rowdy fans. Central States Tag Team Title Bout The Bruise Brothers (C) vs. High Fly'n Fever Gagne and Savoldi make the mistake of taking the fight outside the ring. Cash sends Gagne into the crowd with a jumping headbutt. A fan pours a beer on Gagne. Savoldi tries to hit Snowman with the ring bell but Snowman kicks Savoldi, snatches the ring bell and blasts him, then picks him up and executes a running powerslam on the concrete! The match ends in a double c.o. Savoldi is stretchered out while Gagne staggers along with him, holding his beer soaked head. Big Man Steel vs. "The Vin Man" Vinnie Valentino w/"Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly Vinnie spends the first few minutes stalling and trying to stay away from Steel. Kelly distracts Steel. Vinnie goes to the top rope. Steel turns around and Vinnie hits a flying press 1..2..Steel throws Vinnie off him. Kelly gets on the apron but Steel gets up and sends him flying with a forearm blast. Vinnie tries to run but Steel catches him, swings him into the corner and hits an avalanche. Steel pushes Vinnie down and covers 1..2..3! Kelly runs in and nails Steel from behind. Kelly gets Steel up, barley clamps on the full nelson and slams him face first into the canvas. Kelly helps Vinnie to the back Carlos Colon and "Soulman" Rocky Johnson vs. Kamala and "Maniac" Mark Lewin w/Curtis Iaukea This is a wild one! After 10 minutes of crazy fighting, the Ref takes a bump. Kamala and Johnson are fighting on the outside. Iaukea runs in the ring. Him and Lewin double team Colon. TNT runs in the ring. Lewin holds Colon. TNT executes a spin kick but Colon ducks and TNT nails Lewin! Billy Jack Strong hits the ring and hurls Iaukea out of there. Colon covers Lewin as the Ref crawls over and counts 1..2..3! Billy and Colon run outside and help Johnson fight off Kamala. The babyfaces finally exit. TNT helps Lewin up but Lewin pushes him away. Iaukea and Kamala get in the ring. Iaukea is berating TNT. Things get heated and Iaukea slaps TNT. TNT is livid and punches Iaukea. Lewin comes from behind and clamps the sleeper on TNT! Iaukea gets up and starts kicking TNT. Lewin throws TNT on the ground. Kamala swings off the ropes and hits a big splash! Iaukea yells for more. Lewin slams TNT and Kamala hits another splash! Cheers as Colon, Strong and Johnson come back to the ring to stop this madness. The Spoiler vs. Super Destroyer w/Paul Jones Chaos is the theme tonight. This one's a no contest as Spoiler and Super D fight all over the place before the match even starts. Jones manages a few shots but takes a few more. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes/Mid America Champ "Unpredictable" Dick Slater and The Fabulous Ones vs. Tully Blanchard w/Baby Doll and The Stud Stable (The Fullers and Jimmy Golden) After a wild night of wrestling, the fans get an action packed main event. This match goes back and forth for 45 minutes. Of course it ends with all 8 men fighting. Dusty and Ron Fuller are brawling on the outside. Slater sends Tully over the top rope with a clothesline. The Fabs atomic drop Rob and Golden into each other, then put Golden down with a double dropkick 1..2..3!

Continental Championship Wrestling
Historic day as Twin States morphs into Continental. With your roster, this totally makes sense. The best part is more people get to hear RPG. Always loved it when wrestlers did promos outside of the arena. Mulligan training with his son at the ranch just adds intensity to his match with Khan. I'm still wondering who put the bounty on Mulligan. Humperdink has Khan ready as he destroys 2 men. So many great tag teams here. Sheepherders and Armstrongs qualify for the DVE tournament. Who will take home the money? Speaking of money, Terry Taylor gets his shot at Mr. Money. I'm thinking Fergie has a plan. Another spot on promo by the Funker! "Mongoloid sons" LOL line of the night! I love how Funk is able to do a promo on Jarrett, the Von Erichs, Dusty, Bullet and Bad News all at once. The man sells tickets everywhere he goes. Gibson holds Mr. Pro to a draw. Mr. Pro better be more focused tomorrow night. The 6 man cage match is going to be off the charts. Throw Brody in the mix and it's going to be insanity at its best. Oh man I would hate to be Slick. I think Bad News might actually do some serious damage to him. In the end, we're going to get Funk vs. Bullet for the title! This main event sells out anywhere. I can't wait for Gulf Coast Clash! Great job building to this event.

Texas All Star Wrestling
Pringle is back and Marc Lowrance is thrilled! Damn, as if Rip Oliver wasn't enough, Pringle also brings in the Kansas Jayhawks! Man, it's so good seeing Dutch and Bobby back together. This is one dangerous stable! I had a great time writing for Oliver as a tough babyface but he was such a great heel and I'm looking forward to seeing him in full heel mode with Pringle. Wild Bunch give us a wild match. They want in the tournament and they say ain't nobody can beat them! I'm glad their feud with Brooks and Miller isn't over. The Luscious hype has me very intrigued. I'm doing something similar with "The Real King of Wrestling" LOL The Highwaymen and Glamour Boys has been one of my favorite feuds. You've done a great job keeping the heat on this for a long time. This could be one of those long running feuds where they just keep coming back to each other. I hope they cross paths in the tournament. You know the tag teams are stacked if Brooks and Miller didn't get in. I know they aren't happy. Hmmmm, Miller looked a little annoyed at the "Killer's Gang" comment. OH YEA! Time for The Fiesta Garden! "For a stupid Gringo" HAHAHAHA Al has me laughing already. LOL I couldn't stop laughing when things were going like a standard interview until the Rich's are mentioned and Al's response changes the entire tone. OMG! Al actually referred to Brenda as a RAT!!! WOW! This might have Brenda in tears LOL. How on earth will she respond to that? Things take an unexpected turn as the Wild Bunch and Brooks/Miller get into a crazy brawl and destroy the set. Dusek has enough and we're going to get closure next week! Al shrugging his shoulders with a smile at the end was the topper. What a fantastic segment! Adias and Kendo put on an exciting TV title main event. The finish was great as Kendo accidently sprays Akbar and Adias hits his finisher! I wonder how Akbar will respond to all this? A ton of excitement as we approach the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Loved this show!

USWA
USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 1-29-86 Footage from Evansville is shown with the Technicians holding up the USWA tag team titles. Lance Russell: Hello again everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. Tremendous show lined up. Blockbuster main event as Dusty Rhodes teams with Mike George to take on Jesse Barr and the USWA World Champion Terry Funk. Also in action tonight will be Kamala, George Wells, the Super Destroyer and the Fabulous Ones. I have a big announcement regarding Dick Slater and Tully Blanchard. The RPMs will be tuning up for the upcoming David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament as they will face the debuting Rose Cousins. All that and a lot more. Right now I want to bring in Jerry Jarrett. Jarrett comes to the podium. Lance: I understand you have an announcement regarding the USWA Tag Team titles. Jarrett: Yes I do Lance. Last week in Evansville, Karachi Vice defended the titles against the Technicians. The end was full of chaos and confusion as Roop had Gama pinned while Makhan had Rheingans pinned. Karachi Vice protested the result and after viewing the footage, it clearly shows the Ref made the count on the two illegal men. Unfortunately I had to overrule the Ref's decision and give the titles back to Karachi Vice. BOOOOOOOOOS! Jarrett: This is a one time deal. I want to make something clear. From now on, every decision by the Referee will be the final decision. Switching gears Lance, I just want to say how excited I am about the upcoming David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Thirty Two teams Lance! Just think about that for a second. It's going to be three nights of incredible action as the best teams from the USWA, Twin States and Texas All-Star will compete for 100,000 Dollars and one impressive looking trophy. Boos as Karachi Vice come out flaunting their tag titles. Makhan: Get it straight Jarrett, it's the Karachi Vice Invitational. Normally I would be irritated with you but you actually did something right by giving us our titles back. Everybody knows we soundly defeated the Technicians. That Referee was just stupid and on the take. Gama: Brother Makhan speaks the truth. Everybody wants to see us loose these titles, even corrupt officials. However, at least you have some credibility Mr. Jarrett and saw the injustice. These titles are rightfully ours and will remain that way. Jarrett: Like I said, that was a one time deal because of the importance of the match. I have the upmost trust and respect for our officials. If I were you, I would be focused on the competition and the tournament. Gama: Who do you think you're talking to? We have never been more focused and we will prove that, if any team is brave enough to face us at the Karachi Vice Invitational! Lance: Wow that was a lot to process. I do feel bad for the Technicians and I'm sure they will be granted a rematch. Let's go to the ring. George Wells vs. Vic Dutro The fans cheer as Wells (bandage up head) back drops Dutro. Wells hops on the middle ropes. Dutro staggers up and Wells puts him down with a flying shoulder block for the win! Wells goes to the podium while Lance shows some footage. Footage is shown from Evansville of the Bodacious vs. Wells/Lance Von Erich tournament qualifying match. The finish sees Gerry Morrow shattering a bottle of champagne over Wells head, costing him and Lance the match. Wells: Morrow! You've gone way over the line this time and brother you have to pay! Next week, here on TV, it's you and me! I want the world to see what I'm about to do to ya! Lance: I don't blame him one bit. Next week it'll be Wells vs. Morrow right here. Talk about a grudge match. We'll be back. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, I'm excited to announce a new TV title format that will begin this week. First, I would like to bring out the current TV champ, Tony St. Clair along with his manager, Les Thornton. Boos as St. Clair comes out in a UK themed robe, while Thornton waves the UK flag. Tony smiles as he opens his robe, revealing the TV title around his waist. Lance: Tony, I must say your TV title run has been nothing short of impressive. Thornton: Of course it's been impressive you dunce. The man is simply the best and you and all these American saps can't deny it. Now get on with it Lance. What's this format all about? Lance: (rolls his eyes) Ok, alright, so, starting tonight two randomly drawn wrestlers will wrestle. The winner will receive a TV title shot the following week. Which means, twice a month on TV, Tony St. Clair will be defending his title. Thornton: That's more than fine with us. All that means is Tony St. Clair will get to show all these lazy good for nothing Americans what a true champion is all about. Good day Lance. Lance: Ok well, the two names were drawn earlier and the match will take place right now. Big Man Steel vs. Jeff Sword w/Paul Jones and Doug Vines Steel spends a lot of the match not only fighting Sword but deals with distractions from both Jones and Vines. At one point, Jones distracts the Ref while Vines gets in the ring. The Duo swing Steel to the ropes but miss a double clothesline, Steel swings back and puts them both down with a clothesline! Steel picks up Sword and hits a scoop powerslam for the 1..2..3! The fans cheer. Steel gets a TV shot against St. Clair next week. Commercial Break Kamala w/Curtis Iaukea vs. Todd Rooney Kamala destroys Rooney with several thrusts and chops before putting him out of his misery with a big splash. Iaukea gets in the ring and instructs Kamala to inflict more pain. Kamala starts choking Rooney and wont let up. The Ref is yelling at Kamala to stop but the monster continues to choke the life out of Rooney. Huge pop as CARLOS COLON hits the ring and mows over Iaukea, then starts hammering away on Kamala! Boos as TNT and MARK LEWIN hit the ring. Followed by cheers as ROCKY JOHNSON and BILLY JACK STRONG run in! Its pandemonium! Fists are flying! The viewers get a good minute of fighting before a commercial ruins it. Commercial Break Lance: Oh my, things have finally settled down but this fight is a long way from over. My goodness. Right... Boos as Terry Funk and Jesse Barr storm the podium. Funk snatches the mic. Funk: A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of picking up that fat pig Dusty Rhodes and piledriving him right on (taps his title) this here title. I can't wait to whip that egg sucking dog at the David Von Erich tournament! And I don't have to because I get to do that tonight! Look at this kid (pointing to Barr) He reminds me of a Funk. He's raw and tough just like a Funk. We're going to have a fun time tonight whipp'n up on those two jack asses! Funk tosses the mic and him and Barr storm off. Lance is irritated as he picks up the mic. Lance: Let's go to the ring. The Super Destroyer w/Paul Jones vs. Royce Jenkins Destroyer dismantles his opponent before finishing him off with a Superplex! Jones leads him to the podium. Jones: Did you see that Spoiler? You're going to regret the day you embarrassed Number 1 Paul Jones! The Super Destroyer is going to humiliate you and tear you apart and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it! Lance: You seem more upset than usual. Is it because Big Man Steel got the better of your Devil's Duo tonight? Jones: Don't you start with me Lance! The Devil's Duo are a team and they will be back on track when they win the tournament and collect that money! Watch yourself Lance! Super Destroyer steps up to Lance and stares him down before leaving. Commercial Break The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. The Rose Cousins (Pat and Randy) RPMs look prime and ready for the DVE tournament as they control the match with quick tags, double team maneuvers and high octane offense. All four men end up in the ring. Randy lowblows Lane and hurls him out of the ring. Randy clotheslines Davis from behind. Randy hops on the middle ropes. Pat hoists Davis up in a vertical suplex position, then sets him up on Randy's shoulder. Randy has Davis in a powerslam position and crashes down on the canvas 1..2..3!! Lance: Wow! I think I would have to call that an upset. Lance waves the Rose Cousins over. The RPMs are still reeling and I'm not sure the loss has registered. Lance: Pat and Randy Rose. You guys just made your USWA debut and just upset a top ranked team that's heading into the DVE tag tournament. Randy: Hold on. Upset? If anybody is a top ranked team it's the Rose Cousins! We just put those Punks down with the Rose Bomb! And nobody gets up from that! Pat: This means we're in the tournament right? Lance: It's obvious you guys deserve to be in it but I'm afraid you've arrived just a bit to late. The 10 USWA teams have already been announced. However, I'm sure if you keep up those kinds of wins, a title shot will be in your future. Randy: That's a croc! We just proved our worth. We should be in and not those bleached blonde spandex wearing goofs. Pat: The Rose Cousins are here and we just got your attention! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign and pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everybody and welcome to the number one rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. Now, before I get to my guests I have a few things to say. Somebody sent me a tape from Texas and on that tape was a man name Alvin saying some very false things about me. I assure you Alvin, everything about me is real and 100% natural, so if I were you I would choose your words more carefully. But enough about that Latin Loser and more about my show. Tonight's guests are the Central States tag team champions, the Bruise Brothers. "Boogie Fever" by the Sylvers plays as Porkchop Cash and the Snowman come out wearing matching blue wrestling pants, sparkling blue vests, gold chains, sunglasses and glitter blue bandanas. The titles are around their waists. Brenda: You guys have charisma, no doubt about it. I know you have a lot on your minds. You're the Central States Champs and you'll be in the upcoming David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament in Texas. Texas, did you hear the comments that guy Alvin made about me? Snowman: Sorry Brenda, didn't catch them. The Bruise Brothers have been busy defending these here titles and getting ready to compete in the tournament. We're feeling great! Brenda: Well, he's a liar! Cash: (smiling and shaking his head) Ok Brenda, we believe ya baby. Brenda: Hey, don't make fun of me. You know something? I don't think you're going to be champions very much longer. I hear High Fly'n Fever is coming after you. Those are some really cool guys and make a great team so you're in trouble. Cash: Hey, we ain't ducking anybody! We took down the Devil's Duo and if High Fly'n Fever wants some. Snowman: Then they can come and get some! Cash: That's exactly right! Cash and Snowman high five before leaving. Brenda: I can tell they're scared. And Alvin, if you tell anymore lies about me, then you'll be running scared. I mean it! Until next week, tooooodles. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, as you know on February 12th, 13th and 14th, right here on the USA Network, the USWA, Twin States and Texas All-Star will present the David Von Erich Memorial Tag Team Tournament. 32 teams will compete for 100,000 dollars and the prestigious trophy. Terry Funk will defend the USWA World title against Dusty Rhodes as well as compete in the tournament with his brother Dory. This just announced. On night 1, Dick Slater will defend the Mid America title against Tully Blanchard. We'll hear from both men next week. Another team that will be in the tournament is set for action right now. The Fabulous Ones vs. Willie Lopez and Curtis Moore Fabs have a little more aggression tonight as they take it to their opponents. The match ends when Lane superkicks Moore into a back suplex by Keirn for the pin! The fans cheer as the Fabs head to the podium. Lance: Well it seems that the Fullers and Jimmy Golden have targeted you guys. Lane: Once again they got us. Looks like big brother Ron wants to get involved. Keirn: Don't matter! Stan and I will take down the entire family one by one! Hey Rob! Jimmy! We are hoping and praying we cross paths in the tournament! Lane: You boys are going down! Commercial Break The Elvis version of Also Sprach Zarathustra plays A man wearing a king's crown and cape has his back turned. "The real King of professional wrestling is coming soon" Lance: We keep hearing about the real King but I'm not sure if we'll ever see him. Let's go back to the ring. Lance Von Erich vs. Trent Watkins Lance body slams Watkins, then goes to the top ropes. Watkins staggers up and Lance hits a nice flying press for the win! Commercial Break Lance: Before we get to our main event. I want to remind you next week, Tony St. Clair will defend the TV title against Big Man Steel. George Wells takes on Gerry Morrow in a grudge match. More tag team action as several teams tune up for the DVE tournament... Boos as The Vin Man strolls out. Vin: Don't forget Lance. Next week Bodacious will be in action. You know why? Because they're in the tournament! HA! I told you so! Vin Man was here, YEA! Lance: (pauses then looks at the camera) Our main event when we come back. Should be a barn burner. Commercial Break USWA World Champ Terry Funk and "The Lone Wolf" Jesse Barr vs. "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and "Bulldog" Mike George The bell rings and fists fly! The Ref shows a lot of leniency as these guys tear into each other. George pounds away on Barr in the corner as Dusty hammers away on Funk in the opposite corner. They swing Funk and Barr into each other. Barr staggers back as George clotheslines him down. Funk is spinning around then staggers into a bionic elbow from Dusty. The Ref finally gets control. George and Barr are in. George punches Barr then hoists him up and atomic drops him into a bionic elbow from Dusty on the apron.
