  1. Second Sons are getting over with the AWA fans. I hope the Killer Bees realize what they've gotten themselves into. LOL, can't wait to hear HTM's new hit single. Link and Angel make quite the pair. Great hype video for Abby. Can't wait to find out who's bringing him in. Bad News looks good with a nice win over Jessie Barr. The AWA goes 80s high tech by bringing out the Apple computer. Fun heel vs. heel TV title bout. Things get crazy as Rocky Johnson comes out swinging! Passionate promo follows and it looks like we're heading into a major feud. PIPER wins the North American title! Great match! Pringle has a dynasty but Piper has some heavy hitting back up with Hogan and Jumbo. This is going to get good!
  2. Jerry Jarrett and the USWA welcomes Twin States! Looking forward to the partnership. LOL, Jarrett's influence comes quick as half the roster is banned from Huntsville's card. I'm sensing that Jimmy Jam really misses Precious especially after that comment by Golden. Great way to end the show with the Candy Man getting the better of Big Bubba. Youngblood's have arrived! Royal's plans for the Jr. Title might be on hold after getting the fireball. Norvell is rolling in Twin States. The fireballs are going crazy tonight. Man, that poor Ref. Sawyers and Nightmares in a cage...OH YEA! Cooley and Armstrong put down the Assassins to earn a title shot. These guys have been red hot and could end up with the belts! Candy Man once again gets the better of Bubba and I'm sure Bubba and Carson will be back for more. Solid tag title main event that gives the fans their money's worth with 3 falls. Violent Gentlemen retain. I'm liking this title reign.
  3. Dog Pound score an impressive upset over Badd Co. Props to Rotunda for staying focused and getting the 3 count on Waylon. Cabin Fever made a serious statement tonight and are closer to getting that tag title shot. Scorpio continues to excite the fans and gets a solid defense over Starr. After his recent loss to Steamboat, I thought Gordy was going to plow right through Beefcake but Beefcake gave him a battle and Gordy had to earn this one. I'm curious to see where Gordy goes from here.

Brown and George seem satisfied with the payback and exit to cheers. Gagne can't compete and the match is a No Contest. The Samoans hold Colon as Kai tosses the chain to Morgan. Morgan wraps the chain around his fits and is ready to hit Colon but wait! The fans roar as HERCULES AYALA hits the ring with a chain! Ayala looks like a madman as he swings the chain around. Samoans and Morgan head out. Morgan is irate as he swings his chain around and yells up at Ayala. Ayala is begging him to get in the ring as he holds his chain up. The fans are going nuts. Hercules Ayala is back! USWA Heavyweight Title Bout Jerry "The King" Lawler (C) vs. "Champagne" Gerry Morrow Big time boos as Morrow strolls to the ring wearing a white suit jacket, black fedora hat and sunglasses. And like he said he's carrying the most expensive bottle of champagne on the planet. The fans boo as he holds it up and sets it on the ringside table. He has words with the timekeeper and tells him to guard that bottle with his life. Many people wondered if Jerry Lawler was going to be able to compete but those doubts are answered as the fans explode when he makes his way down the aisle. Lawler is looking confident with his crown and cape. Lawler gets in the ring and holds up the title as the fans are up and cheering. The bell rings and some words are exchanged. Morrow points to Lawler and says "The title goes home with me tonight HAHAHAHA" Morrow swings Lawler to the ropes but Lawler comes back and shoulder blocks him down. Morrow gets up but Lawler scoop slams him back down. Morrow rises but Lawler once again scoop slams him down and follows with an elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Morrow throws a punch but Lawler blocks it and fires away. The fans go nuts as Lawler pulls down his strap. Lawler hammers away with his Memphis punches, grabs Morrow and swings him towards the corner but the Ref gets sandwiched in and takes a bump. Lawler continues to punch away on Morrow and punches him through the ropes. Morrow is in a daze. He staggers up and goes to the timekeepers table. The fans boo as Morrow picks up his champagne bottle. Lawler is checking on the Ref. Morrow enters the ring and is going to hit Lawler from behind with the bottle. The Ref gets Lawler his title and raises his arm. Lawler puts his foot on Morrow's chest and holds the title high.
  5. I always know when Pacific comes to LA, the fans are going to get a big card. Freebirds get heat early and cost the Southern Boys their match. If Busick and Bigelow stay on this path, they will get some gold. Solid match between Burke and Orton. These are guys who always have their working boots on. I loved that you paired up Muraco and Snuka as a heel team. Big fan of this team. Southern Boys get some great payback and cost the Freebirds a chance at the titles. Steamboat vs. Gordy, the rematch we've been waiting for! Gordy of course brings the fight but in the end Steamboat's resilience wins the match. This match solidifies Steamboat's reign. To Santa Barbara, I would hate to be a Ref for a Jake match. Poffo gets a little satisfaction by getting the fall. Muta is rising the ranks. Perez is finding out he's going to have some serious competition gunning for his CA Title. Hito is giving him some tough matches. Texas Red getting main event spots show how much faith the bookers have in him. This kid is going places.
  6. This might of been the wildest show to date in Texas! Show kicks off on a high note with newly crowned Texas Champ Scott Casey. Casey and Sunshine seem more than ready for Spoiler and Akbar. Smirnoff and Jones fight all over the place. I'm glad you booked these guys together. Next week's match is going to be good. Oh man Bart and Miller make a devastating debut together. They're fired up for that cage match and I can't wait to see who's crazy enough to team up with them. You have done an amazing job with El Jefe. Estrada is a heat magnet! He makes the mistake of messing with Lightfoot's headdress, then again the way things turned out maybe Lightfoot made the mistake. Lightfoot is in serious trouble. Cocoa proves to be a good friend and might get some revenge for Lightfoot. However, El Jefe is one dirty fighter, so Cocoa better be on high alert. The Glamour Boys are back!!! One of my favorite feuds has been reignited. Glamour Boys get the title shot against the Highwaymen next week...YES! I always look forward to your main events and tonight was a wild one. A 6 man tag in Texas is always going to end in chaos LOL. The Gold Dust Trio is born along with Kat Leroux. This will literally be GOLD in Texas! Halloween Spooktacular is going to be must see TV! Man, it's going to be insane!

Tomorrow night at the Louisville Gardens, Champagne Gerry Morrow will get a USWA title shot against The King Jerry Lawler. Morrow will be in the ring tonight. Well, you all just saw what went down in Jackson... The Grapplers storm the podium. Grappler 1: Yea, everybody saw what went down and once again Road Warriors you didn't prove anything! This is far from over! Grappler 2: But first we need to take care of those punks the Lone Stars! You stuck your noses in our business and now you're going to pay dearly boys. Grappler 1: That's right! Tomorrow night in Louisville we got you! And you're going to be sorry you ever got in our way! Grappler 2: And Road Warriors! We're going to settle this once and for all! Lance: Oh boy, those are two are not at all happy right now. We'll be hearing from the Lone Stars a bit later. Let's go to the ring. Carlos Colon vs. Vic Dutro Colon is aggressive tonight as he works over the leg of Dutro. Colon hits a shin breaker then clamps on the figure four leglock to get the win! The fans cheer as Colon heads to the podium. Lance: Come on over Carlos. I know life has been rough for you every since Tiger Jeet Singh put that bounty on you. Colon: It hasn't been easy but Lance I'm still standing. Singh is to much of a coward to do his own dirty work and.... Boos as Leilani Kai comes out with Ripper Morgan on a chain. Morgan is stomping and huffing but Kai yanks the chain to reel him back. Kai: Mr. Colon I have a lot of respect for you but money talks. Tomorrow night in Louisville, Ripper Morgan is going to collect Tiger Jeet Singh's bounty plain and simple. You saw what he did to Bob Roop didn't you? The money is as good as ours. Morgan huffs and takes a step towards Colon but Kai yanks him back. Kai: Not now! Kai takes Morgan to the back. Colon: Leilani Kai and Ripper Morgan are going to end up like all the rest of them. Nobody will collect that bounty and soon I will get my hands on Tiger Jeet Singh! Commercial Break The Rock N Roll RPMs vs. The CEOs These two teams have been going at it and tonight is no different. After a few minutes of back and forth action, RPMs take control and nail Timbs with a double dropkick. Davis covers 1..2..Crews hits Davis with his briefcase! The Ref signals for the DQ. Lane knocks Crews through the ropes then tends to his partner. Timbs rolls out of the ring. Commercial Break Lance: I'm here with the CEOs. Pretty cheap way out of defeat. Crews: Hey they cheated first! Look, we run a billion dollar company and we have investors to worry about. We need to stay healthy. A man in a suit approaches the podium. Man: Gentlemen, I'm here to tell you that your company is under investigation. Timbs: What are you talking about? What kind of investigation? Man: Please follow me. The CEOs look extremely nervous as they follow the man. Lance: (pausing as he watches them leave) Ahhh ok, back to the ring. "True Grit" Mike George w/Bulldog Brown vs. Clinton Stitch Mike looks focused as he enters the ring wearing his boxing style robe and hood over his head. Mike is in total control as he picks up his opponent and atomic drops him into the turnbuckles. Stitch hits hard and staggers back. Mike grabs him and hits the Russian Leg Sweep for the pin! Brown gets in the ring and raises Mike's arm as the fans cheer. They head to the podium. Footage from Jackson is shown as the Elite triple team George and Greg Gagne nails him with a standing dropkick. Lance: Bob, your man Mike George has defeated 2 of the 3 members of the 6-Man tag champs. Looks like Greg Gagne took advantage of the numbers game. Brown: Of course he did because he's a weak man. But I have some news for the so called Elite. Tomorrow night in Louisville, Mike George will face Gagne but the other members of the so called Elite have been banned from the building. It's just going to be you and me on the outside Skaaland. And I would love to see you try something. George: You got a fight coming Gagne! See you in Louisville. Commercial Break Footage from last week is shown as Timothy Flowers hits Sunny War Cloud with a chair then steals his headdress and does a mock War Dance. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers vs. Gary Williams Flowers gets massive heat as he enters the ring wearing Sunny's headdress and does a mock dance around the ring. Flowers spends most of the match putting the hurt on Williams and yelling at the booing fans. Flowers backdrops Williams then goes to the top rope. He lets out a mock war cry then finishes the match with a tomahawk chop! Boos as Flowers puts on the headdress and heads to the podium. Lance: Alright that's enough. I think you better listen to these comments by Sunny War Cloud. pre recording Sunny: Timothy Flowers! You just committed the ultimate act of disrespect! You disrespected me and my heritage! So help me, you will pay! I'm not coming just to win a match, I'm coming to hurt you and hurt you bad and take back what is mine! Back Live Flowers: (Adjusting the headdress) Don't you think this looks good on me Lance? Why is Cloudy Rain Cloud so mad? I mean come on, I give this headband some style. He's not man enough to take this back so I'm going to make some alterations and keep it. Like I say, I'm like the mailman and I always deliver! Commercial Break USWA Tag Team Champs Karachi Vice vs. Todd Rooney and Ray Glader The champs are in sync tonight. Makhan swings Glader to the corner and follows with a running avalanche. Makhan tags in Gama. Gama hits a backbreaker and follows with the camel clutch to get the easy win. Rooney comes in to help his partner but Makhan drops him with a clothesline. They grab their titles and head to the podium. Lance: I have to admit you guys have been very dominating champions. Makhan: Why would you think anything less? Gama: That's right Makhan. We have beaten everybody! Every single team that has stepped into the ring with us has been destroyed. There is no competition left. None! Lance: Well I understand that Jerry Jarrett has made some calls to Frank Dusek of our Texas affiliate and it appears they might be setting up something for you guys. Makhan: Texas? That's a laugh. Gama: It is very laughable. So laughable that I will tell Mr. Jarrett and Mr. Dusek this. We will gladly face a team from Texas here on TV and I'll make this even more interesting. If they can beat us. Makhan: Which they wont. Gama: Exactly. Makhan, we are just going to embarrass them on national TV. However, if they beat us, we will more than gladly give them a title shot. Texas might think this is a great opportunity but they might want to think long and hard about the consequences of facing us. Lance: Ok, well I want to see how this turns out. We'll be back. Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign then pans in on Brenda Britton. Brenda: Hi everybody and welcome to the most watched segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. First off I want to congratulate Champagne Gerry Morrow on his upcoming USWA title victory. I just know he's going to beat that wannabe King. Now, tonight I have a very interesting guest. Please welcome out Sweet Brown Sugar. Cheers as Sugar comes out wearing his old white mask. He pumps his fists and waves to the fans. Brenda: Ok, well first off what's with the mask? Sugar: Brenda baby, glad you asked. Now Sweet Brown Sugar has been doing a lot of tag team wrestling lately but my man Norvell has gone on to Twin States and I wish him all the best. We had a great run but now I have to focus on a solo career. I had to go back to my solo roots and dust off my old mask. I brought it back to get me on track. I'm gonna make a serious run and go for the TV title! Brenda: Pretty lofty goal Sugar. Sugar: You're right about that and that's why I want to pursue it. I feel rejuvenated, re energized and ready to rock! Brenda: Well you do have enthusiasm, I'll give you that. Ok everybody, the recharged Sweet Brown Sugar. Until next week tooooodles. Commercial Break The Lone Stars vs. Sam Smith and Harold Bannister Total squash as the Lone Stars obliterate their opponents and finish them off with a double clothesline! Boos as they head to the podium. Lance flinches as Deaton cracks his whip. Young: You know, we heard the Grapplers out here crying. They need to face facts, they couldn't get the job done against the Road Warriors. If we faced those freaks, they wouldn't of been able to walk out of Jackson. That's a fact. Lance: Well your interference didn't help any. Just why did you do that? Deaton: Oh you have such a short memory don't ja Lance? Those masked buffoons' costed us that bounty money on Carlito Colon. If it wasn't for those idiot Grapplers, we would be living it up on a beach somewhere. Now, the Grapplers want us tomorrow in Louisville? Well that suits us just fine. You boys thought the Road Warriors were tough, you aint seen nuthin yet! Lance flinches as Deaton cracks his whip again. Commercial Break The Rolling Stones song "Gimmie Shelter" plays as the words WRESTLESTORM 2 flashes across the screen. Lance: Fans, Saturday night, December 5th, broadcasted on closed circuit TV across all our arenas, the USWA will present it's biggest event of the year WrestleStorm 2. Next week, Jerry Jarrett will give us our first WrestleStorm 2 report and announce the first series of matches. I'm looking forward to that. Let's get to the ring for a big match up. Yoshiaki Yatsu w/Masnobu Fuchi vs. Kevin Kelly w/Nick Kiniski Both tag teams look pretty sharp as the Red Dragons have on their red robes with yellow flaming dragons on the back. The Magnificent Ones are wearing shiny gold robes. It's suppose to be a one on one match but things escalate quickly. Nobody gets a chance to take their robes off because before the bell even rings they start fighting! It's pure chaos and the Ref doesn't even bother to try and get control. This one's a No Contest. Commercial Break Lance: Ok well things finally settled down in the ring. My guest at this time... The Central States title appears in front of Lance. The Dream Machine holds it up right to his face. Dream: I am the undisputed Central States Champion and don't you forget it babay! Lance: (rolls his eyes) How could I forget it? Dream: Don't get smart with me Lance! Every since I beat Dicky Boy Slater for this title and sent him packing, I've been on the streak of a lifetime. Lance: I'm glad you brought up Dick Slater. I understand his tour of Japan is ending and he will be coming back very soon. Dream: OOOOOOHHHHH I'm really scared Lance! I'm shaking in my boots babay. You're a fool Lance! You just don't get it, old Dicky Boy isn't coming back! Not after that beating I gave him. He was born yellow and he's going to stay yellow for the rest of his pathetic life! I'm gone babay! Dream holds the title up and nudges Lance with it before leaving. Lance: I wish he would knock that off. Back to the ring. "The Vin Man" Vinnie Valentino vs. Stu Jersky Vinnie spends a lot of time strutting around with his entourage of ladies before finally getting in the ring. Vinnie works Stu over with some high flying moves. Vinnie slams Jersky then goes to the top rope. Before Jersky can fully rise, Vinnie hits a sunset flip for the pin! Commercial Break Lance: I've been joined by Moose Morowski. What's on your mind Moose? Moose: It appears I'm at a crossroads in my career. Lance, I've been in this.... Vinnie Valentino strolls up with his ladies. Vinnie: Whoa. Whoa. Whoa! This is the Vin Man's time. Lancey, why are you wasting your time talking to a washed up has been relic like this guy? I'm the future of this business and this guy should be a statue in an antique store. I.... WHAM! Moose punches Vinnie right in the mouth! Vinnie fly's back and down. His ladies are screaming and yelling. Moose puts his knee on Vinnie's chest, grabs him by his hair and just unloads on him with punches! The ladies are screaming in terror. Officials run out to get Moose off him. Moose gets up, pushes the officials out of his way and storms off. Vinnie is battered and knocked out cold. Lance: (looking down at Vinnie) He's going to need some help. Commercial Break "Champagne" Gerry Morrow vs. Trent Watkins Morrow's confidence is at it's highest peak tonight as he just toys with his opponent. Morrow finally ends the match with the sleeper. Boos as Morrow strolls to the podium. Lance: Ok Gerry, tomorrow night at the Louisville Gardens, you get a shot at the USWA title. The champ Jerry Lawler might not be 100% but he promises he'll be there. Morrow: You know Lance, I came into a lot of money and I now have the finest things in life. All the luxuries a man could ask for. (Morrow holds up a bottle of champagne) You see this bottle? It's the most expensive bottle of champagne on the planet. I will bring this bottle to Louisville and I will open it up and celebrate with it after the match. The only thing missing from my life, something I want very badly, is the USWA title. After tomorrow night I will have everything. And Lance, if you behave you may come to the party afterwards. HAHAHAHA! Commercial Break Footage from last week is shown as the Rich's attack Matt Borne and Rip Oliver in the hallway leaving them a bloody mess. Pre recorded Oliver and Borne are standing with bandages on their foreheads. Oliver: Rich's! You got us pretty good didn't you. You think this is over? Boys, it's only the beginning! Borne: We like to fight to! We like to make people bleed to! And Rich's, we're going to make you bleed boys! Oliver: Oh and boys, I think you will like the announcement Jerry Jarrett has for you next week. Both men smile. Back Live Lance: I wonder what that announcement will be? I guess we'll find out next week. Also next week, I'll be talking with Siva Afi and Duke Myers about their unfortunate in ring accident last week where Duke ended up with a broken arm. Jerry Jarrett will have his first WrestleStorm 2 report and Jerry Lawler will be here. Will he still be the USWA champ? Again, tune in next week. Our big TV title main event when we come back. Commercial Break TV Title Bout Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair (C) w/Les Thornton vs. Corporal Kirchner The entrances couldn't of been more different. Kirchner had the fans on their feet while he stormed out waving the American Flag. On the other hand, Les and Tony drew massive boos as they arrogantly walked out. Les added heat by coming out and waving the Union Jack flag. Tony entered the ring, walked up to Kirchner, turned around and pointed to the back of his jacket which said "Simply the Best" Tony unhooked his TV title and held it up to Kirchner while shaking his head NO at him. The bell rings and we get a lock up. Tony hip tosses Kirchner over. Kirchner looks up while Tony smiles and rubs his hands together. Les waves his flag on the outside as the fans boo. They hook up again and Tony goes for another hip toss but Kirchner stops it and puts Tony down with a short arm clothesline. The fans go wild as Kirchner picks up Tony, swings him to the ropes and gives him a high back drop. Les gets on the apron but Kirchner runs over and clocks him. Les and his flag fall on the apron. Kirchner grabs Tony, swings him to the ropes and kicks him in the mid section then follows with a bulldog 1..2..Tony gets his shoulder up. Kirchner picks up Tony and swings him to the corner and follows with a running clothesline. Kirchner follows that up with several shoulder thrusts as the fans go wild. Kirchner swings Tony to the opposite corner and charges in but Tony moves and Kirchner hits shoulder first into the corner. Tony is on his knees regrouping. Les gathers himself on the outside and cheers Tony on. Tony grabs Kirchner from behind and hits a German Suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Massive boos as Tony rolls out of the ring. Tony gets his title, smiles and holds it up while Les is in the background waving the Union Jack Flag.
  8. I really like what you're doing with this roster. It's good to see guys like Ox, Garea and Goulet having a fun run during their twilight years. George Wells was always one of my favorites so it was cool to see him hold the TV title. Bravo was a great choice to end Wells reign. I can't imagine the heat Patterson, Bravo and Brito will get in Houston. Ox and Masked Superstar is one brutal duo. Props to you for building a nice woman's division. I hope Richter has a long reign. Killer Khan will cause a lot of destruction here. Great main event between Race and Eaton. Eaton almost scores an upset but the legend Race pulls it out to retain. No doubt about it, Harley can still go.
  9. A Ugandan Death match between Kamala and Bullet is the perfect match for an event named HELLoween. Big things going down in Twin States with a partnership coming. Very interesting. LOL, Garvin drops the classic "It's not my fault" line. Love it! I like the crazy TNT/Bota pairing. In a place like Twin States, Mulligan better have eyes in the back of his head with that bounty placed on him. Glad Norvell found a good home and partner with Hamilton. Things are getting heated between the Sawyers and Cooley/Armstrong. To Montgomery, Rose gets a nice payback win over Ash. I really liked the Armstrong/Nelson program and thought it would get resolved with a 60 min time limit but no, TNT and Bota spoil everything and give both men a beating. I'm sure Nelson and Armstrong will put aside their differences for some revenge. Hamilton and Norvell are off to a great start with a win over AOD and Strong. Looks like trouble in the Wright Army. Jimmy Jam wins this round over Brisco. Things will be different once Boogie Woogie man is healthy. All hell breaks loose in the bounty match as basically everyone in the locker room gets involved! Heels come out on top...tonight. LOL, the Nightmares are getting the better of Wright. I'm sure the Sawyers aren't done. Poor Ron Fuller, he just can't catch a break in title matches. After that beat down by Stomper, who knows how long he'll be out. Carson will be doing some bragging next week on TV. HELLoween is going to be nuts!
  10. Badd Co. has a pretty good win streak going. They might have earned themselves a title shot in the near future. Nothing like a good brawl between 2 powerhouse wrestlers like Cameron and Nord. The Guerreros are getting a lot more then they bargained for with British Steel. TITLE CHANGE! Lanny's solid run comes to an end at the hands of Scorpio. this has been an exciting division to watch and no doubt Scorpio will continue that. Gordy gets the fall in the 6 man tag and now is squarely focused on Steamboat and his title. That match should draw big in LA.
  11. I'm good with Bleh using Dark Journey. And Gene is right, Jody Hamilton did wrestle as the Flame for the next couple years.

Hart and Sammartino pick up George and hold him while Gagne relishes the moment before putting George down with a high standing dropkick. The Rock N Roll RPMs vs. The CEOs Both teams have their working boots on and give the fans a good back and forth battle. A pier six brawl breaks out. Special Challenge Match Bob Roop vs. "The Real Deal" Ripper Morgan w/Leilani Kai Roop is a man possessed tonight as he takes the fight to Morgan. Roop has Morgan in the corner and punches him down then starts stomping away and even starts choking him. The Ref backs him off. The Grapplers vs. The Road Warriors w/Precious Paul Ellering This is the one the fans have been waiting for and these teams do not disappoint. The crowd is going crazy during the entrances. Even though the Grapplers are the hometown team it's hard not to pop during "Iron Man" The Road Warriors hit the ring and the brawl is on! Ellering is on the outside encouraging his men. The Ref is showing a lot of leniency as he lets them tear into each other for the first few minutes. These guys fight all over the place. After a good brawl, the Ref miraculously gets control. Animal swings Grappler #2 to the ropes and puts him down with a flying shoulderblock then picks him up and Military Presses him up and slams him down! Grappler #1 runs in and both Grapplers swing Hawk to the ropes and go for a double clothesline but Hawk ducks, swings back and clotheslines them both down. Hawk dives over and tags in Animal. Animal is a madman as he pounds away on both Grapplers. Animal sends Grappler #1 flying back to his corner with a kneelift. Animal swings Grappler #2 to the ropes and powerslams him over 1..2..Grappler #1 barley makes the save. Hawk comes in but the Ref guides him back. Animal picks up Grappler #2 but Grappler #1 hops on the middle ropes and nails him with a double axehandle to the back. The Ref turns around as Grappler #2 tags in Grappler #1. Grappler #1 stomps away on Animal then hops on the middle ropes and comes down with a double stomp to the mid section. Grappler #1 picks up Animal and hits a rib breaker 1..2..Hawk drops a fist on Grappler #1. Here comes Grappler #2 and the brawl is on! Hawk and Grappler #2 brawl through the ropes to the outside. Animal and Grappler #1 are fighting inside the ring. Wait a minute! The fans are booing as the LONE STARS come to ringside in black cowboy hats and trench coats! On the outside, Hawk is dazed. Grappler #2 sees the Lone Stars and they start yelling at each other. Hawk comes from behind and pushes Grappler #2 into the Lone Stars. The Lone Stars start mauling Grappler #2. Ellering is yelling at Hawk to get back in the ring. Hawk gets in the ring and the Road Warriors double team Grappler #1. They double slam him and Animal picks up Grappler #1 and hoists him on his shoulders. Hawk goes to the top rope and hits the flying clothesline 1..2..3!!!!!!!! Once again, Animal hoists Grappler #1 on his shoulders as Hawk comes off the top rope with another flying clothesline! Ellering grabs each arm of the Road Warriors and holds them up as the Road Warriors stand strong in the middle of a USWA ring.
  13. Texas is on fire! I got a good laugh at Spoiler taking a swipe at Marc. Akbar makes some valid points and Dusek agrees. Casey vs. The Spoiler for the title on free TV! OH Yea! Gaylord continues to impress. Brooks cuts a very sinister promo. That cage match challenge sounds freaking nuts! I'll defiantly be tuning in for Halloween Spooktacular! Good job in making Brooks a top heel. "From Outta Town" hahaha I totally remember that. Snake tried his best but Cocoa prevails tonight. McCord gives Iron Mike more than he bargained for but Sharpe's power gets him in the end. Nice to see Sharpe getting a push. The man was a great heel. I can't wait to see Gaylord and Sharpe go at it. Good big man brawl. That was one hell of a main event between Simpson and Hickerson! Very well written. Simpson wins and gets his team a title shot... but wait, Highwaymen do a number on S&S! Talk about getting heat back. I don't think Joe will be able to compete after that wicked spiked piledriver on a chair! We'll see how this turns out. Always something going in here. Great job!

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 10-16-85 Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. Tremendous show lined up as you will see Timothy Flowers go one on one with Sunny War Cloud. In a battle of fan favorites, Siva Afi squares off against Duke Myers. The team of Matt Borne and Rip Oliver will be in tag team action. Also in action will be DJ Peterson, the RPMs, Scott Doring, Ben Bassarab and the Central States 6 man champs The Elite. Last week Bob Roop challenged Ripper Morgan to a match, I understand that match will take place tomorrow night in Jackson. Now we all heard Jerry Jarrett say that Jerry Lawler must defend the USWA title against Gerry Morrow in Kentucky next week. Let's hear from Jerry Lawler, who's at home resting his neck injury. Lawler is standing in front of his house wearing jeans and a T-Shirt along with a neck brace and the USWA title on his shoulder. Lawler: I know people thought I was out of my mind for fighting Terry Funk in a non sanctioned match but that was something I had to do. I didn't come out on top and my neck suffered for it. I'm a man of my word and Funk will get his shot and pick the stipulation. But let me tell you something Terry Funk, I don't care what stipulation you choose because you saw what I am capable of and when we go at it again, rest assured I'm going to finish you off for good! I hope your sitting in that hospital bed thinking of me and how I put you there. You did this to my neck and brother I almost took your eye! This wont be over until one of us is gone and I plan on staying around a very long time. Now as far as me having to defend my title against Gerry Morrow next week, well I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm a fighting champ and Gerry Morrow you better be ready because I plan on walking out of there with this title! And then Terry Funk, we finish this once and for all! Lance: Ok, the King is ready. As for Terry Funk, he is still in the hospital recovering from that brutal eye injury suffered at the Empty Arena Match. I hope we never see a match like that again. I don't think either man will ever be the same. Fans, let's get to the ring. The Rock n Roll RPMs vs. Sam Smith and Carl Kellerman RPMs get the fans going with their high impact offense, quick tags and cohesive teamwork. RPMs finish things off with the Spandex Splits (powerbomb/neckbreaker combo)! RPMs are pumped up tonight as they head to the podium. RPMs cut a promo on the CEOs and say they've ran other teams out of town and they plan on doing the same to them! Commercial Break Sunny War Cloud vs. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers These guys battled to a double c.o. two weeks ago and kept on fighting. The bell rings and they go right into a furious exchange. Sunny gets the upper hand and chops away on Flowers. Flowers is against the ropes and a big chop from Sunny sends him over and onto the ground. The fans cheer as Sunny does a war dance while Flowers is throwing a tantrum on the outside. Flowers is yelling up at Sunny. Sunny goes out after him. Flowers grabs a chair and nails Sunny over the head! The Ref signals for the DQ. Flowers tosses the chair and starts stomping on Sunny then abruptly stops. Flowers has a huge grin as he walks over to the table and picks up Sunny's Headdress. Thundering boos as Flowers puts the Headdress on and starts doing a mock war dance. Lance: What a despicable act. We're going to a commercial. Commercial Break Lance: Sunny War Cloud was helped out of here and Timothy Flowers walked out with Sunny's Headdress. Just disgusting behavior from Timothy Flowers. Let's go back to the ring. "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab vs. Clinton Stitch Bassarab is on his game tonight as he works Stitch over with hip tosses, dropkicks and arm drags. There's a buzz from the fans as Les Thornton circles the ring scouting the match. Bassarab slams Stitch then goes to the top rope and crashes down with a flying leg drop for the win! Thornton nods in approval then heads to the back. Lance: The wins keep on coming for Ben Bassarab. Ben, come on over. Last week we saw Thornton scouting Porkchop Cash and now this week it's you. Any idea what that's all about? Ben: Haven't got a clue but if he's scouting potential TV title challengers then I would like to say I'm more than up for the task. Commercial Break Lance: On the topic of...what's going on? Fans, we have a situation going on in the hallway of the arena, our cameras are going to the back. They go back to the hallway and Tommy and Johnny Rich are attacking Rip Oliver and Matt Borne! Borne is down in a puddle of blood. Tommy slams Oliver's head into the wall then picks him up and holds him as Johnny takes a trashcan and slams it over Oliver's head! Officials rush in there but the damage has been done. Commercial Break Lance: Shocking development as the Rich's have just attacked Matt Borne and Rip Oliver in the hallway. Both Borne and Oliver were unconscious... The Rich's storm out. Johnny: We told you all the Rich's were coming for blood and brother we just got it! Tommy: HAHAHAHA! Did somebody say something about fired up! You see what happens when you mess with the Rich's! If Borne and Oliver want more, well come on! Rich's hug before leaving. Lance: I don't know what's gotten in to those two. I hope to have an update on the conditions of Borne and Oliver soon. Well, back to the ring. My goodness. "The Wrecking Ball" DJ Peterson vs. Curtis Moore Before DJ even comes out, MOOSE MOROWSKI hits the ring and beats up Moore then hurls him through the ropes! The fans cheer as DJ hits the ring and unloads on Morowski. DJ punches Morowski through the ropes. DJ pumps his fists as the fans roar. Lance: I have no idea what that was all about. Ok, here comes Moose. Morowski: I said I was here for the big payday and I was robbed of that last week! I had to take out my frustrations on somebody. That punk Peterson wants to interfere in my business fine by me! Listen up boy, we can settle this tomorrow night in Jackson! Morowski storms off. Lance: A very angry Moose. Well speaking of Jackson, tomorrow night we will get the long awaited rematch between the Grapplers and Road Warriors. The Grapplers aren't here tonight but sent in this video. Grappler 1: Oh it's been a long long wait and that wait has been well worth it because we've spent that time thinking about destroying the Road Warriors! Grappler 2: We guarantee that after the beating we give them, those paint faced freaks will never show their faces here ever again! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink neon "Beauty Shop" sign then pans down to Brenda Britton. Britton: Hi everyone and welcome once again to the highest rated segment in wrestling the Beauty Shop. What a treat I have tonight. Please welcome out the next USWA Champion Champagne Gerry Morrow. Boos as Morrow strolls out wearing a suit and fedora hat. He's also carrying out a bottle of champagne and two glasses. Morrow: ( grabs Brenda's hand and kisses it) Ah Brenda, this is such a nice change of scenery. It's so nice to be in the presence of class. Britton: Oh my what a gentleman. You're exactly what the USWA title needs...class. Morrow: Thank you very much and I couldn't agree with you more. Jerry Lawler has been playing games and now things are going to get very real. Next week I'm going to win the USWA title from him. It's a shame it has to be in a place like Kentucky but never the less that wont stop me from accomplishing my goal. Now, Brenda as you can see I have a bottle of champagne with two glasses. Would you like to partake in a toast with me? Britton: I would be honored. After all, I'm not some square like Lance Russell. Morrow hands Brenda a glass then fills up both glasses. Britton: May I give the toast? Pretty please! Morrow: (Smiles) Of course. Britton: To the new USWA Champion, the ever so classy and suave Mr. Champagne Gerry Morrow. They raise their classes and drink. Morrow: AHHHHHHH very good. Britton: Well this has been an absolute pleasure. I can't wait to have you on here wearing the USWA title. Until next week tooooodles. Commercial Break The Rolling Stones song "Gimmie Shelter" plays as the words WRESTLESTORM 2 appear on screen. Saturday night, December 5th from the Mid South Coliseum and broadcasted throughout the USWA arenas on closed circuit TV. The biggest event of the year...WrestleStorm 2. Central States 6 Man Champs The Elite w/ Arnold Skaaland vs. Gary Williams, Todd Rooney and Roy Glader The Elite enter the ring wearing matching 70's style Track suits, with their titles around their waists. Elite seem more aggressive tonight as they lay into their opponents. Sammartino hits a backbreaker then tags in Hart, who executes a snap suplex then tags in Gagne. Gagne picks up his opponent, swings him to the ropes and connects with a high dropkick for the win. Skaaland leads his men to the podium. Skaaland shines each man's belt up with his towel. Lance: How about we talk about Mike George. (Smiling) Since his comeback, he's scored victories over David Sammartino and Bruce Hart. Skaaland: Oh laugh it up Lance. The fact of the matter is that big goof got lucky. Tell him Greg. Gagne: Extremely lucky. Listen up Mike Georgie, let's you and I have a match in Jackson tomorrow night and I'm going to prove that lighting wont strike three times. Hart: Tell him Greg! Sammartino: You're in big trouble Georgie! Skaaland: The Great Greg Gagne is going to embarrass that washed up loser! The Elite hold their titles up and smile as the fans boo. Commercial Break "The Surge" Scott Doring vs. Vic Dutro The bell rings and Doring puts Vic down with a vicious clothesline. Doring picks up Vic, swings him to the ropes and hits a heavy duty powerslam for the win! Lance: WOW! Scott Doring picks up another victory in record time. He's scheduled for an interview. Doring walks towards the podium then just turns around and walks away. Lance: Well it appears that Mr. Doring is a man of few words. We'll... ok here comes Les Thornton along with the TV champ Tony St. Clair. Ok, your man is set to defend the TV title next week against Corporal Kirchner. Les: Corporal? You know there's a reason he's never risen in the ranks and it's because he's an underachiever. The man has no business being in the ring with simply the best. He's going to be severely outclassed and embarrassed. All of you spoiled Americans are going to be nothing but disappointed. Tony: Once again I concur with everything Les has said. I've held this title for 6 months and I will not lose to an inferior opponent such as this Corporal. Lance: Ok, switching gears, Les Thornton, why are you out here scouting matches? Les: Lance, you will get your answer in due time. Good day. Lance: Alright well, our main event when we come back. Commercial Break "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi vs. Duke Myers The bell rings and both men shake hands. Back and forth clean wrestling for the first few minutes. Duke swings Siva to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Siva leapfrogs over, swings off the ropes and puts Duke down with a dropkick. Duke rises but Siva scoop slams him down and follows with a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Siva swings Duke to the ropes and back drops him. Duke staggers up as Siva swings off the ropes and hits a flying press 1..2..Kick Out. Siva swings Duke into the corner and charges in but Duke moves and Siva hits hard into the turnbuckles. Duke regroups, grabs Siva and hip tosses him over then follows with a neck snap. Duke picks up Siva and drops him with a jaw breaker 1..2..Siva barley gets his shoulder up. Duke picks up Siva and body slams him then hops up on the middle ropes and crashes down with a forearm drop 1..2..Kick out. Duke picks up Siva, swings him to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Siva swings back and hits a flying headbutt. Both men are down and reeling. Both men stagger up. Duke nails Siva with a hard right fist that puts Siva against the ropes. Duke charges at Siva but Siva back drops Duke over the top rope. Duke's arm hits the apron on the way down. Duke is on the outside holding his arm. Lance: It appears that Duke Myers injured his arm on the way down. He looks to be in bad shape. The Ref looks down and asks Duke if he can continue. Duke grimaces and nods. Siva wants to stop the match. Duke slowly gets into the ring, holding his arm and grimacing in pain. Siva goes over and ends it quickly with a cradle 1..2..3! Siva and the Ref help Duke up and help him out. Commercial Break Lance: What a shame for Duke Myers. I hope he's ok. Well fans next week you will see Tony St. Clair defend the TV title against Corporal Kirchner. I hope to have an update on Matt Borne and Rip Oliver. You will... There's a huge eruption from the fans as the Road Warriors storm the podium!!!! Lance is in a nervous shock. Animal: We might be suspended from TV in Mid Atlantic but that doesn't mean we can't show up here! Because Hawk and I, we do what we want! If we want to show up and wreck your studio again...or beat you down, Lance Russell, who's going to stop us?!?! Lance seems genuinely fearful. Animal: But you don't gotta worry, Lance, because we're focused right on those two masked goofs, the Grapplers! They want us again? Well, be careful what you wish for, boys, because we're coming to Jackson for your heads. Tell em, Hawk! Hawk: WELL...the Grapplers SURE are popular here, ain't they? Here's a tip for all you people who might want to send them fan mail. Just send it directly to the hospital...maybe they can even share a room with Steve O! We don't back down for a fight. You want it? You got it. And in Jackson, we're going to make the Mississippi River run red with your blood! OHHHHHHHH WHAT A RUSH!
  15. Young Sam Houston kicks things off with a win as his partner Kendall watches on. These kids have a lot of enthusiasm. Blue Demon gets saved by the Killer Bees. Looking forward to some action packed 6 man tags. The Axe catches everyone off guard with his comments. Could we soon see a father going up against his son??? I wonder who Larry will get as a partner? Very interesting. With Madril's heel mic skills and Herc's power, these guys could get some good heat as a team. Wow! Dewey Johnson got a first hand look at the Movement attacking his Dad. I'm sure the Soulman will be back with a vengeance! Oh man Chicky took a brutal beating from Krusher. How is anybody going to get the title away from the Russians? Missing Link and Angel What a pair. For some reason, Link always had a way with beautiful woman. Looking forward to more of these two. Hogan and Ventura go at it in a classic 80s style match up. I thought for sure Piper was going to nail Hogan with the chain LOL. But it looks like Piper defiantly has Hogan's back. Percy better have a plan. Outstanding main event! Bass and Jaggers can go but in the end Brody was to much and set things up perfectly for Savage's elbow drop. Brody and Savage have got to be one of the craziest teams in the game. Another great week for the AWA!
  16. Perez will defiantly have a long line of challengers gunning for his title. Hito is one of them. Playboy Club is getting the best of the Dog Pound...for now. I'm looking forward to Busick, Bigelow and Burke brawling with Cabin Fever and Orton up and down the coast. I hope when Neidhart comes back 100%, we can see a Hart Foundation/Steamboat-Gilbert rematch. I love seeing Adams and Taylor as the arrogant heels. They play their parts so well. I would have paid just to watch Rose and Haynes battle the Pacific Warlords. That match will always draw in this territory. Bret Hart shows he can go as he gives the champ Steamboat quite a match. Rotunda pinning Jake is a pretty big win. I'm sure Jake and Waylon wont forget this. Even though he recently lost the Pacific title, Gordy is looking as devastating as ever. Hopefully he gets a rematch with Steamboat. Texas Red continues to have an iron grip on the TV title. Fun 2 out of 3 falls tag match to end the night. British Steel is learning a lot and even managed to score a fall on the Guerreros. I hope the Guerreros have a lengthy run because they're so entertaining.
  17. I have to agree with the others, the Jimmy Jam interview was classic! I cracked up when Precious was mentioned and totally ruined Jimmy's mood LOL. Another great night of action at the Farm Center, Bill Ash has some momentum going. He could be a nice challenger for the Jr. Title. Cant wait to find out who Hamilton brings in to fight AOD and Strong. I really like this Armstrong/Royal program and seeing that they went 20 minutes, I cant imagine what they will do given a 60 min limit. You're right, the Sawyers stole that win. I know Brad and Cooley will be back for more. Kamala was on a rampage tonight until the BULLET hits the ring with a baseball bat! Even though his ribs are still banged up, Bullet is ready to fight. Boogie Woogie Man makes a surprise appearance and gets a little payback as Jimmy Jam gets rolled up for 3. Cant wait to hear what Jimmy has to say about that LOL. Another wild and chaotic main event! RON FULLER returns and knocks out Stomper with the glove. Oh man I thought Mulligan had won the title. The reverse decision will be worth it, if we get to see a Mulligan/Fuller alliance. Carson better have an army ready. Can't wait for the follow up.
  18. USWA releases Norvell Austin and picks up The Snowman To fill in my last spot, USWA would like to pick up Chris Markoff

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 10-9-85 Footage is shown of last night's Empty Arena match between Jerry Lawler and Terry Funk Lance: Hello again everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA network. Well we all saw what went down last night between Jerry Lawler and Terry Funk. What a brutal fight that was. I understand both men are in the hospital. Lawler is getting his neck checked out while Funk's eye was in terrible shape. I should have an update on both men next week. Right now I want to bring in the owner Jerry Jarrett. Jerry, I understand you have an announcement regarding the USWA title. Jarrett: Lance, what happened last night was exactly why I wouldn't sanction that match. Both men suffered serious injuries and are now in the hospital. I wish them both a speedy recovery. Now, regarding the USWA title. As you know this is a business and unfortunately that means the title must be defended. Terry Funk won the match last night and Lawler promised him a title shot if he won and Funk gets to choose the stipulation. Right now Terry Funk cannot wrestle for the title but he will get a shot in the near future. As for Lawler, he is obligated to defend the title in two weeks in Kentucky. His opponent will be Gerry Morrow. If Lawler cant compete which I would fully understand then the title will be forfeited. Lance: Well there you have it, very unfortunate circumstances for Jerry Lawler. I can only hope he heals up well in the next couple of weeks. Well as they say, the show must go on. Big main event tonight as the Karachi Vice defend the USWA tag titles against the Sweet Ebony Express. Mike George goes one on one with Bruce Hart of the Elite. All that and a lot more. Let's get to the ring. Porkchop Cash vs. Hal Goodman Cash gives the fans a reason to cheer as he takes it to Goodman. Something interesting is happening as Les Thornton is circling the ring scouting Cash. The fans pop when Cash wins the match with his crossbody/flying headbutt! Thornton nods in approval then heads to the back. Cash is at the podium and Lance asks him about Thornton. Cash: I haven't a clue why Thornton was out here but I'll tell you something, I sure would love a shot at the TV title! Commercial Break "The Real Deal" Ripper Morgan w/Leilani Kai vs. Todd Rooney Footage from a house show is shown as Morgan practically decapitates Brad Rheingans with his chain during a 6 man tag. Kai has the chain around Morgan's neck but as soon as the bell rings she unleashes her monster. Morgan just destroys Rooney before hitting his big boot to the head for the easy pin. Kai hooks the chain back around Morgan's neck and drags him to the podium. The Super Samoans join them. Lance looks very nervous as Morgan is huffing and stomping around. Kai yanks the chain. Kai: Relax Lance, I've got him under control. However, when that bell rings I unleash the beast. That is a warning to any wrestler foolish enough to get in the ring with the Real Deal. Look what happened to Hercules Ayala. He was knocked off the mountain and went tumbling down. You saw what happened to Brad Rheingans. Him and his partner Bob Roop couldn't hang with my Super Samoans. I came here to take over the USWA and I would say I'm off to a great start. Commercial Break "The Wrecking Machine" DJ Peterson vs. Willie Lopez DJ brings the power tonight as he slams and tosses Lopez all over the ring. DJ nails Lopez with the flying shoulder block from the top rope and it's all over. Lance: Another dynamic win for DJ Peterson. Switching gears, last week it was announced that next week in Jackson, the Road Warriors are coming to town to do battle with the Grapplers. Let's take a look at this feud then I'll be talking with the Grapplers. Highlights of the feud are shown going back to the Warriors Crockett Cup win over the Grapplers. It cuts to the Grapplers C.O. win over the Warriors on TV. Then it goes to the Road Warriors destroying the USWA TV set. Lance: I'm standing here with the Grapplers. A lot of bad blood between you and the Road Warriors. Well, you get your match, next week in Jackson. Grappler 1: A week is to long to wait! I wish we could beat them up right now! Road Warriors your day is coming and get ready for the stomping of your life! Grappler 2: They think they can come into our backyard and get away with what they did? Think again! You guys might think your big and bad, but boys in Jackson the Grapplers are going to show you just who the baddest tag team in wrestling is! Grappler 1: Your going down Road Warriors! Grappler 2: And your going back to Mid Atlantic with your tails between your legs, that is if you can even walk. Commercial Break House Show footage is shown as MOOSE MOROWSKI jumps Carlos Colon. Lance: I'm here with Moose Morowski. Moose I'm sure we all know why you're here. Moose: Oh your such a smart man Lance. It's real simple and it aint no secret. I'm here for the money! Tiger Jeet Singh's bounty is a lot of money and I'm here to collect. I've been in this business a long time and beat up a lot of men. And what have I gotten in return? I deserve a big payday and I don't care if it's at Colon's expense! The fans erupt as Carlos Colon hits the ring. Carlos yells at Moose "I'm here! Come and get it!" Moose: Time to get paid! Lance: Ok looks like we have an impromptu bounty match Carlos Colon vs. Moose Morowski Moose gets in the ring and Colon is all over him! Colon hammers away, swings Moose to the ropes and clotheslines him down! Colon picks Moose up and slams him down then hops on the middle ropes and comes down with an elbow drop. Colon picks up Moose and hits a Shin Breaker. The fans go wild when Colon clamps on the figure four! Wait a minute! 2 men in black trench coats and black cowboy hats hit the ring and attack Colon! Ok Mr. Interpreter, tell me about the Red Dragons. Interpreter: The Red Dragon represents the element of fire. The Dragon also symbolizes good luck, good fortune along with power, strength and wisdom. I think these two honorable men are the perfect representation of that. Brenda: They might be, but I think they got themselves into trouble by messing with the Magnificent Ones. I mean Kevin Kelly and Nick Kiniski are two strong specimens. It's going to take more than a couple of crazy dragons to beat them. Interpreter: Just watch this demonstration and I think they will show you how prepared they are. Yoshi goes off screen and comes back with 2 bricks. Yoshi holds one up in front of Masanobu. Masanobu yells and breaks it with his fist! Masanobu picks up a brick and holds it. I've been traveling from arena to arena putting down every challenger that got in my way. So who's going to beat me? That scared Dick Boy Slater? Oh that's right he's on "tour" in "Japan" yea sure he is. I ran him out of town and you and all these morons know it! From now on he will be known as Dicky Scared Straight Slater! HAHAHAHAHA! The CEOs vs. Sam Smith and Carl Kellerman The CEOS (Art Crews and Ken Timbs) come to the ring wearing matching purple singlets, purple boots and knee pads, also wearing sunglasses and carrying their briefcases. CEOs show that they're a very cohesive unit. They put on a tag team exhibition before finishing things off with a double DDT! Lance: Ok the CEOs have joined me. At a recent house show you guys came out of the crowd and jumped the RPMs. Just what was that about? Crews: Lance, you didn't say what the best part of that was. Did you see the suits we were wearing when we did that? We have style don't you think? When your a CEO you have to look the part. Timbs: The RPMs want to continue this? Fine with us. We're going to show everybody why people like the RPMs punch the clock and why people like us run the company. Commercial Break Vinnie Valentino is shown sitting in a Spa with several lovely ladies. Boos as the Karachi Vice grab the titles and hold them up. The Ebony Express are clearly disappointed.
  20. It's hard to write battle royals let alone a Texas Round-up but you seem to have this mastered. Incredible job! I was hooked from the start. Got to give it up to Jack Victory, he had a very impressive performance. Spoiler was taking everybody out! He defiantly took the Blondes by surprise LOL. Loved the Iron Mike Sharpe shower reference LOL. Gaylord might of gotten the biggest elimination pop by putting Khan out in seconds. It was fun watching Black Bart brawling in there. Brooks didn't last long but he sure made an impact. The Brooks/Bart feud is taking the game by storm! Poor Joe Lightfoot. I liked the Smirnoff/Jones interaction. These guys could have a fun program. Kim Duk's elimination of Miller was quite impressive. "El Jefe" is one of my favorite gimmicks here. He gets some good heat eliminating Adias. What a feel good ending. Spoiler has the claw on a bloody Casey but Casey manages to get Spoiler over the top rope! That last scene with Sunshine and Mantell was a great visual to end an outstanding show. Good call with Casey. The man defiantly represents Texas. Awesome job Bleh.

USWA @ The Roanne Fieldhouse 10-8-85 The USA Network Presents USWA Champ Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Terry Funk Empty Arena Match Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to this very special event here on the USA Network. Tonight you will see Jerry Lawler square off against Terry Funk in an empty arena. As you can see it's just me, the cameraman and the Referee. This match is non sanctioned and anything goes. The Referee's only job is to declare a winner. Lawler challenged Funk to this match and has said that if Funk beats him here tonight then he will not only give Funk a USWA title shot but Funk will get to pick a stipulation for that match. This all started last year when these two men were involved in some epic battles over the title. Funk left for a while and returned this summer. Those two picked right back up and had a match at Star Wars. Let's take a look at what happened. Footage from Star Wars as Funk piledrives Lawler through the announcers table. Lance: Lawler has been out of action since but tonight he gets his fight. I have to agree with Jerry Jarrett in not sanctioning this match because Lawler has yet to be medically cleared. EMT's and an ambulance is standing by outside. This could be.... Terry Funk storms out! Funk: Where is he Lance? Where is that jackass Lawler? I'm here! I knew he was all talk. The man is a gutless coward! He doesn't have the guts to fight me. Where is he? Lance: He'll be here Terry, just give him a moment. Funk: Why don't we just give me the title right now. Lawler isn't coming. We're on national TV and now everybody watching knows what kind of a man Lawler is. Gutless! You hear me Lawler! You're gutless! WHAM!! Lawler (still wearing a neck brace) storms out and nails Funk from behind! Lance: Here we go and I'm backing up. Lawler pounds away on Funk then slams him on the concrete. Lawler puts his knee on Funk's chest, grabs his hair and starts unloading with punches. Lawler chokes Funk then starts slamming his head on the concrete. Lawler picks up Funk and swings him headfirst into a row of chairs. Funk is buried under the chairs. Lawler has his fists clenched and goes towards Funk. Lawler throws chairs out of his way then reaches down but Funk lowblows him hard. Lawler falls over while Funk regroups. Funk finally staggers up and his head is bleeding. Funk walks around then falls back down. Funk staggers back up and starts kicking Lawler. Funk goes down, grabs Lawler's head and grinds his face in the concrete. Funk rips off Lawler's neck brace. Lance: Oh come on Terry! There's no need for that. Funk kicks Lawler's neck several times. Funk picks up Lawler and hurls him into the ring. Funk gets in the ring, picks up Lawler and executes a delayed vertical suplex then yells at the Ref to count 1..2..Lawler gets his shoulder up. Funk berates and threatens the Ref. Funk stomps away on Lawler, picks him up and swings him into the corner. Funk charges in but Lawler moves and Funk hits the turnbuckles shoulder first. Funk is half way through the ropes. Lawler is laid out. Both men start to move. Lawler grabs Funk's legs and yanks him out. Lawler stomps on Funk then drags him to the ropes. Lawler grabs the top rope and drops several knees on Funk. Lawler kicks Funk out of the ring. Lawler goes out, picks up Funk and slams his head on the apron a few times. Lawler grabs Funk by his hair and rams him into the steel post. Funk is bleeding profusely. Lawler hurls Funk into the ring. Lawler picks up Funk, holds him by his hair and slowly punches him. Funk's legs are wobbly but Lawler keeps him up by his hair. Lawler winds up and knocks Funk down with a big right punch. Lance: Ok Jerry, I think Terry may of had enough. Lawler picks up Funk and swings him to the corner and charges in but Funk lifts his knee and Lawler nails it head first. Lawler staggers back holding his neck. Funk quickly grabs him and executes a neckbreaker 1..2..3!!!!! Funk rolls over and is laying there. Lawler is laying in pain holding his neck. Lance: Terry Funk has won the match. Thank goodness that's over. I could tell Lawler was in serious pain. I just don't want to see either of these men's career end tonight. I will go to the back and get the medical personal out here. Funk comes staggering over. Funk: I did it Lance! I did it! But I'm not done yet! Funk goes off and grabs a wooden chair then shatters it on the steel post. Lance: Wait a minute Terry. The match is over. You won. What are you doing? Funk comes back with a piece of wood in his hand. Funk: I'm going to finish Lawler off once and for all. I'm going to take his eye Lance. That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to take his eye! Lawler is sitting against the turnbuckles holding his neck. Lance: Please Terry. Do not do this. Please. Funk gets in the ring holding the piece of wood. The Ref tries to stop him but Funk punches him down. Funk goes at Lawler and tries to stab him in the eye but Lawler is holding his hands. Funk is yelling "I'm going to get his eye!" Lawler rakes Funk's eyes. Funk staggers back but has a firm grip on the piece of wood and goes back in but Lawler kicks Funk's hand and the piece of wood goes up into his eye! Ok guys, I just had to do this. Funk crumbles to the ground holding his eye. Funk: AAAAAAHHHHHH MY EYE! MY EYE! I CAN'T SEE! I..I...I CAN"T SEE! DOCTOR! HELP ME! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME! Lawler gets up and stares down at Funk. Lance: Ok, Jerry, ok, he's had enough. It's over. Lawler slowly exits the ring obviously in serious pain. Funk: Lance! Lance! Are you there? Lance? Lance: I'm here Terry, I've got to get you help. Funk: Don't leave me here Lance! Don't leave me alone. Lawler! Where's Lawler! Lawler you bastard! Come back here! Look what he did to me Lance! Look at my eye! You're going to pay Lawler! You YELLOW PIG! PIIIIIIG! Lance: Fans, I've got to get him help. I'll see you tomorrow night for our regularly scheduled program.
  22. Great follow up from Rocket Rampage. LOL, RPG and his second of silence for Jimmy Valiant was such a classic heel move. Nelson Royal plays the part of the old vet heel well. The Violent Gentlemen might be short but brother they can fight. Johnny V better watch himself or he might get a beating. Cooley and Brad can easily become the top babyface team here. If they're helping Davis then that means they're going to go at it with the Sawyers. That could be a top dollar feud. The Ugandan Headhunter is back in beast mode! Bullet is still recuperating but no doubt he'll be back. Kamala brawling with Bullet will tear the houses down. Mulligan is fired up for his rematch with Stomper. Oh man the Oates take a beating from the Sawyers and it would of been a lot worse if the faces didn't stop it. Great set up for the upcoming 10 man tag. To the Farm Center, Ash comes to town and starts off with a solid win over Hamilton. Nelson Royal doesn't take the strap tonight as Scott holds him to a draw. I hope these guys go at it a few more times. I think this program has some legs. Big Bubba has a huge night as he sends Gypsy out on a stretcher then later attacks the Candyman. Looks like Bubba wants to be the only big man standing in Twin States. Exciting 10 man tag! Brad is getting a big time push and has some serious momentum going. I have a feeling the Sawyers are going to be coming after him and Cooley. WOW! Jimmy Jam has arrived! I was wondering where he was LOL. I think losing Precious is going to make him a bit crazy and a crazy Jimmy can be very unpredictable as we saw tonight. Jimmy is such a good fit for Twin States. I cant wait to see what he does here. Fans don't go home happy as Stomper puts Mulligan down with a little help from Carson. I'm sure Mulligan wont forget this. No, I would say Mulligan is going to be PISSED! Carson and Stomper better be ready for a real fight. As always, great job Gene. Your storylines just flow so well.

After the match, Vinnie's female entourage ran into the ring to help him. The Grapplers vs. The Lone Stars Wild hard hitting fight. The match ends when the Grappler 2 clotheslines Deaton over the top rope. Grappler 1 hoists Young up as Grappler 2 climbs the ropes then hits the diving clothesline on Young for the win! Carlos Colon vs. "Champagne" Gerry Morrow As Colon heads to the ring he's attacked from behind by MOOSE MOROWSKI! Moose puts a beating on Colon then rams him into the steel post! Security runs out to stop this. Colon is helped to the back. Looks like another attempt to collect on Tiger Jeet Singh's bounty. The match is a No CONTEST. Moments later, Morrow strolls to the ring with a bottle of champagne and pours himself a drink. Morrow gets the mic and says "I consider that a victory so I deserve a toast" Morrow drinks his champagne and casually leaves as the fans boo. The Technicians and "The Wrecking Machine" DJ Peterson vs. The Super Samoans and Ripper Morgan w/Leilani Kai Chaotic 6 man action. At the 15 minute mark a pier six brawl breaks out. During the chaos, Rheingans cradles Sakalia for the pin! The bell rings but the brawl continues. Kai tosses Morgan his chain and he nearly decapitates Rheingans with it. Samoans and Morgan exit as Roop and DJ attend to Rheingans. Central States Title Bout Dr. Dream Machine (C) vs. Porkchop Cash Cash takes it to Dream and has him reeling as he headbutts him out of the ring. While on the outside, Dream pulls a foreign object out of his trunks. Dream gets on the apron. Cash runs over, Dream swings but Cash ducks and back suplexes him, but while in the air, Dream nails him on top of his head with the foreign object. They crumble down with Dream on top 1..2..3! Dream retains. Matt Borne and Rip Oliver vs. Tommy "Wildfire" Rich and "The Memphis Mafia Man" Johnny Rich . This is one hard hitting and bloody brawl! All 4 men end up fighting. They take the fight to the outside and battle to a double count out. They keep fighting for several more minutes and the fans love every minute of it. Oliver and Borne end up getting the upper hand of the fight to send the fans home happy.
  24. LOL, the opening segment already had me cracking up. From the antics of Jack Victory to the old card in the sleeve by Hickerson. Funny stuff! The laughing continues with...The Laser Blondes! HAHAHA! Fun match but the SHOCKING moment happens when the Blondes are unmasked! It's Regal and Donovan!!!! Mr. Ebony arrives and is ready for one last big run in Texas! More comedy gold! Victory making up names for everyone was classic. My biggest laugh came when the Blondes thought they were fired. Then their reaction when Dusek had to give them an explanation. These guys have become a huge highlight every week. Wearing a mask with the Texas colors will defiantly get you over here. Impressive debut for the Texas Ranger. Damn that was one epic match for the tag titles! Very well written. Both teams showed why they were in the finals. I like both teams but I have to admit I popped when the Highwaymen won it. Awesome tournament with a grand finale. Now we get a 25 man gauntlet match next week for the Texas Title! It gets better and better!

Mike George takes on David Sammartino of the Elite. Sunny War Cloud clashes with Timothy Flowers. We'll see the debut of The Surge Scott Doring. Gerry Morrow, the Lone Stars, Ben Bassarab, the Magnificent Ones and Johnny Rich will all be in action tonight. I'll be speaking with Carlos Colon. Jerry Jarrett will be here to address us on the Road Warriors, Grapplers situation. Well fans, this Thursday Night, the USA Network will televise a special broadcast of the Jerry Lawler, Terry Funk empty arena match from the Roanne Fieldhouse. The match will be non sanctioned however Lawler has promised that if Funk wins the match he will not only get a title shot but he will be allowed to pick the stipulation. On that note let's hear from Jerry Lawler at his home and then I'll be speaking with Terry Funk. Jerry Lawler is standing in front of his house still wearing a neck brace. Lawler: It's been a month since that spineless coward Terry Funk put me through a table with his piledriver. Here I am still wearing this thing (Pointing at his neck brace). Now I know a lot of people think I'm crazy for doing this and maybe I am. Hell, the USWA wont even sanction this, but this isn't about anything except me wanting to fight Terry Funk, plain and simple! Just you and me Funk! Nobody else. And believe me I'm coming to fight and pound you to the ground and then put your head through the floor. Then when I'm done I'm going to beat you up again and again and again! Terry Funk, Thursday you're mine! Lance: Ok, a very determined Jerry Lawler Boos as Terry Funk bursts on the scene. Funk: Lance, Lance, Lance, this Thursday Night millions of viewers are going to witness the end of Jerry The Jackass Lawler! But Lance you get to witness it live and get to commentate on the destruction of that Jackass. Once that happens he will have to forfeit his beloved title to me because he wont make it to another match. I can't wait! Thursday night is the moment I've been waiting for. I'm going to destroy Jerry Lawler! I'm going to get that title and when I'm done with all that I'm going to break his crown just for the fun of it! Lance: Ok fans, that comes to you this Thursday here on the USA Network. It's the showdown we've all been waiting for. And that's going to be a fight. We'll be back. Commercial Break "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab vs. Gary Williams The fans are up and cheering as Bassarab is flying all over the place. Bassarab hits a snap suplex, runs up to the top rope and crashes down with a flying leg drop for the pin! Lance: Ben, come on over. Another impressive win and I know why they call you electrifying. Ben: Thank you Lance. I've been rising the USWA rankings for a few months and I haven't backed down from a challenge. I'm charged up and always running on high octane. The fans cheer as Ben raises his fist and smiles. Lance: I really like this kid. We'll be back Commercial Break The Magnificent Ones vs. Sam Smith and Vic Dutro Last week Kevin Kelly introduced Nick Kiniski as his new partner right after they beat up Yoshiaki Yatsu. Tonight we defiantly know why Kelly chose Kiniski. They are gelling well and prove to be a very cohesive unit. The end comes when Kiniski dropkicks Dutro into Kelly's full nelson. The Ref signals for the bell. Kelly swings Dutro around then tosses him. Kiniski grabs Smith and the Magnificent Ones double suplex him. The fans boo as the Magnificent Ones celebrate. The fans roar as Yoshiaki Yatsu and Masanobu Fuchi hit the ring and hammer away on the Magnificent Ones! The Magnificent Ones bail out of the ring. Yatsu and Fuchi want more. The Magnificent Ones just point and yell as we go to a commercial. Commercial Break Lance: Ok, Yatsu and Fuchi show the Magnificent Ones they're ready for a fight. The tag team division is really heating up here and because of that I understand in a couple weeks there will be an announcement regarding the Central States Tag Titles. Speaking of titles, my guests at this time are Les Thornton and the reigning TV champ Tony St. Clair. Welcome gentlemen. I must say Mr. St. Clair has had a firm grip on that title for nearly 6 months. I've been told that the next challenger in line will be Corporal Kirchner. Your thoughts? Thornton: My thoughts? Corporal Kirchner is nothing but a typical American bar room brawler. He's nowhere near the caliber of Tony St. Clair. Tony St. Clair is going to teach that brawling patriotic buffoon a wrestling lesson he'll never forget. And Lance, don't you forget that this man is simply the best. St. Clair: I concur with everything Les just said. I am truly a wrestling genius. My skills are far more superior than Kirchner's. Simply put, he doesn't have a chance. It will just be a sad day for all these American fans. Thornton: Good day Lance Lance: Two very confident men. Back to the ring as Gerry Morrow has returned from vacation. "Champagne" Gerry Morrow vs. Todd Rooney Morrow does look well rested as he works over Rooney. Morrow finishes things off with the Sleeper. Boos as Morrow arrogantly strolls to the podium with a bottle of champagne. Morrow pours himself a glass, holds it up, smiles, nods to Lance and drinks it down. Morrow: AAAAHHHH very good. Did you miss me Lance? I'm feeling fine and while I was in Cabo I came up with an agenda. I want the title. Lance: Which title are you referring to? Morrow: A man such as myself wants the greatest title. I am referring to the USWA title. I know the so called King has his hands full right now but rest assured I will get my title match because a man such as myself always gets what he wants. And when I win that title, I will have a bottle of my best champagne and you and I will enjoy a toast. Commercial Break Sunny War Cloud vs. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers Very even match up. Sunny brings out his chops, slams and back drops while Flowers bends the rules with chokes, boot rakes and eye gouges. Things get heated as they have a furious exchange and fight through the ropes. The Ref counts to 10 and signals for the bell but they keep fighting. The bell keeps ringing but the fists keep flying. They fight into the commercial break. Commercial Break Lance: Oh my we just witnessed quite a match between War Cloud and Flowers.... Flowers comes to the podium. Flowers: What was that!? Can you believe that guy Lance! Sunny War Cloud is nothing but a savage! A wild animal! That injun doesn't know who he's messing with. When I get done with him his name will be Crying Cloud because I'm going to hurt him bad. Like I say, I'm like the mailman and I always deliver! Lance: Ok well, back to the ring. The Lone Stars vs. Arnie Goldstein and Willie Lopez Young and Deaton are ruthless tonight as they give their opponents a beating and win the match with a vicious double clothesline! Lone Stars cut a promo and warn the Grapplers that they're not done with them! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign then pans down to Brenda Britton Brenda: Hi everybody and welcome to the number one segment in the wrestling world, the Beauty Shop. Now tonight is a very special show because my guest is none other than the USWA owner himself Jerry Jarrett. Jarrett comes out and shakes Brenda's hand. Jarrett: Pleasure to be here Miss Britton. Brenda: Oh I know it is. Now, as you and everybody knows, I'm the one who gets all the inside scoops. So I want the answer Mr. Jarrett. Are you going to sign the match between the Grapplers and the Road Warriors? I mean, don't you remember what the Road Warriors did to this place? Don't you remember that they put the true superhero Steve O out of commission? Are you really going to let them get away with all that? I want to know! Jarrett: Just relax Brenda. There was a lot involved in this. I needed time to think and yes I will sign the match. The Grapplers will wrestle the Road Warriors at the Jackson Coliseum on Saturday October 17th. There will be extra security on hand that night.... Cheers as the Grapplers come out! Grappler 1: You did the right thing Jarrett and you wont need extra security because the Grapplers will handle the Road Warriors! Grappler 2: That's right! Road Warriors! We're coming for you boys! Brenda: (SCREAMS) Jarrett gets away as the Lone Stars run out and attack the Grapplers! They put the boots to them. Deaton chokes Grappler 1 with his bull rope as Young slams Grappler 2 then starts kicking Grappler 1 while Deaton chokes him! Prelim wrestlers run out to break it up. The Lone Stars get in a few more shots before leaving. As the wrestlers tend to the Grapplers, Brenda picks up her mic. Brenda: You boys have more to worry about. (Deep breath) Until next week toooodles. Commercial Break "The Surge" Scott Doring vs. Carl Kellerman Doring comes to the ring and the fans are impressed with his muscled powerhouse look. The bell rings, Doring clotheslines Carl, picks him up, swings him to the ropes and hits a powerslam for the quick win! Lance: What a debut for the Surge Scott Doring. He might of just set a USWA record for the fastest pin. I'm going to get a word with him. Lance walks over but Doring just looks at him and walks away then pushes the camera out of his way. Lance: It looks like he wasn't in the mood to talk tonight. Well fans as you know on Saturday Night, December 5th, the USWA will present it's biggest event of the year, WrestleStorm 2. Many cities have been vying to host the spectacular event. It's my privilege to announce that WrestleStorm 2 will take place at the Mid South Coliseum in Memphis Tennessee. Now don't you fans worry because the event will be broadcasted on closed circuit at all of the USWA arenas. What a tremendous night that will be. Commercial Break "The Memphis Mafia Man" Johnny Rich vs. Scott Franks Tommy Rich is on commentary with Lance as Johnny works Scott over. Johnny's head is bandaged up from his matches with Borne and Oliver. Johnny picks Franks up and hits a Snake Eyes on the top turnbuckle to win the match.
