USWA TV @ The Sportatorium, Dallas TX 9-4-85 Lance: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. This week we're broadcasting from the world famous Sportatorium right here in Dallas Texas. Fans, this weekend at the Fort Worth Convention Center, the USWA will present the Labor Day Star Wars event. We'll be talking a lot about that tonight. We'll bring you all the highlights of that tremendous event next week. As for tonight's show you will see The Elite defend their Central States 6 Man titles against The Technicians and Ben Bassarab. Current rivals Duke Myers and Timothy Flowers will go one on one. Vinnie Valentino takes on Sunny War Cloud. Steve O will be in action. And the Company Men make their long awaited televised tag team debut. Fans, I do have some big news regarding Star Wars. Due to previous booking obligations, the Road Warriors will not be able to compete at Star Wars. I'm sorry to have to be the... The Grapplers come out. Grappler 1: We heard the news Lance and we're not the least bit surprised. Booking obligations? Yea right, in other words they're just scared! Grappler 2: What an excuse. However, I don't blame them. I wouldn't want to face us either. Lance: Well here's the other part of the announcement. The match will take place and it will take place next week on TV. Grappler 1: Oh so they call the shots now? Grappler 2: Don't worry brother, don't you see what this means? It means we get to beat them on national TV and show the world why we're the greatest team in wrestling! Grappler 1: You're right! Paul Ellering, for being such a smart manager, you really didn't think this through did you? Road Warriors! You're going down! Grappler 2: Nobody comes into our house and pushes us around! Lance: Huge match set for next week. Wow what a blockbuster that will be. Well be right back. Commercial Break Sunny War Cloud vs. "The Vin Man" Vinnie Valentino A few weeks ago these two wrestled and Vinnie knocked Sunny out with the ringside bell! Vinnie and his entourage of ladies stroll to the ring. Vinnie is wearing his Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses. They stand on the outside while Vinnie gives each of his ladies a peck. Vinnie slowly enters the ring blowing kisses out to the booing fans. The fans cheer as Sunny storms the ring and unloads on Vinnie! The Ref signals for the bell and the match is on. Sunny punches Vinnie to the ropes then clotheslines him over the top. Sunny goes to the outside and grabs the ringside bell. Sunny scares the woman off with a war cry. Vinnie staggers up and Sunny levels him with the bell! The Ref signals for the DQ but Sunny seems very satisfied. Sunny throws the bell down and exits. The woman all run over to the unconscious and busted open Vin Man. Commercial Break Lance: Well I can't say I condone the actions of Sunny War Cloud but I guess he believes in pay back. Fans, one of the big matches at Star Wars will be Carlos Colon taking on Tiger Jeet Singh. Here's some highlights of events leading up to this point. Highlights are shown of their match in Japan followed by Singh attacking Colon at a house show and throwing a fireball in his face. Colon's return attacking Singh. A wild match that ended in a double c.o. Several brawls. Lance: A lot of hatred there. I really hope things will be settled at Star Wars. Another grudge match will pit Rip Oliver against Tommy Rich. These two have had some bloody battles but Rich has come out on top a few more times thanks to interference by his cousin Johnny. We'll see if Johnny once again gets involved or maybe Oliver can figure out a way to counter him. We'll find out at Star Wars. Yet another match with some animosity will be Hercules Ayala taking on Leilani Kai's monster Ripper Morgan. Kai and Morgan have targeted Ayala and say there's only room for one at the top of the mountain and that Morgan is going to knock Ayala off it. Ayala has been on a rampage and says he's the one who will be standing on top. Fans we'll be right back. Commercial Break Arthur Crews and Kenneth Timbs join Lance at the podium. They are wearing half black and half navy colored wrestling singlets and each man is holding a briefcase. Lance: Ok, the Company Men are up next but appear to have something to say. Crews: Yes we do. First off Lance, check out our singlets. Black and Navy. The two most powerful colors in business. Timbs: That's exactly what we represent. You see Lance, thanks to investors like Brenda Britton and a few others, our company has risen to the top. Crews: And we are no longer just company men. You're looking at the CEO's, so from now on you will refer to us as the CEO's! Now watch us take care of business in the ring. The CEO's vs. Sam Smith and Trent Watkins The CEO's make good on their promise and take care of business in the ring. They are in total sync and finish things off with a Double DDT for the decisive win! Crews and Timbs hold their briefcases high and point to their heads as the fans boo. Commercial Break Lance: Star Wars is upon us and another match you will see is Dick Slater defending the Central States title against Dr. Dream Machine. These two have had some battle of words as well as some wild fights in and out of the ring. Should be a dandy. Another title bout will be Tony St. Clair defending the TV title against Yoshiaki Yatsu. These two have wrestled to several 10 minute draws but at Star Wars there will be no time limit. Tony's manager Les Thronton says his man will give Yoshiaki a wrestling lesson he'll never forget. And for the tag team titles, Karachi Vice will defend against the RPMS. The RPMS defeated the Fabulous Blondes to earn the shot. The Blondes insisted they cheated. Karachi Vice says the only thing the RPMS earned was a beating. Fans we'll be back. Commercial Break Duke Myers vs. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers These two feuded during the summer with Myers coming out on top. Flowers reignited things when he interfered and costed Myers a chance at the 6 man titles. Flowers bragged about getting the pin on Myers during a recent tag match and now Myers wants him one on one. The bell rings and Myers is all over Flowers. Myers back drops Flowers and drops an elbow 1..2..Flowers gets his foot on the rope. Myers drags Flowers out and starts stomping on him. Myers picks up Flowers and slams him down then hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a forearm drop. Myers hoists Flowers up and suplexes him back. Flowers rolls out of the ring. The Ref reaches 8 but stops when Myers goes to the outside. Myers reaches down to pick up Flowers but Flowers lowblows him then grabs him by his head and smashes it on the apron, then grabs him and rams him head first into the steel post. Flowers rolls him back in the ring. Myers is out of it and his head is resting on the bottom rope. Flowers gets on the apron and hits a leg drop on Myers head! Flowers pulls Myers in and covers 1..2..3! Boos as Flowers runs to the podium. Flowers: I told you so! I told you I would deliver and I did! I'm the best! Diamond Timothy Flowers is back on track and nothing can stop me! And I mean nothing! Commercial Break The camera pans in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign then zooms in on Brenda Britton. Brenda: I'm sorry I'm not my usual cheerful self but I'm still furious over what happened last week. I'm never going to mention it again but I want the RPMS to know they will pay dearly for that despicable and classless act. Ok I feel better already. Now I've said that this is the show with all the major scoops and tonight I have a big one. My guest is Corporal Kirchner. The fans cheer as Kirchner comes out waving the American Flag. Brenda: My oh my you are a patriot. Ok, noticeable missing is your tag team partner Don Kernodle. Kirchner: Yes Brenda, Don isn't here. Don and I had a great run together but have decided to part ways. Brenda: Sounds like he's a chicken. I mean he really took a beating at the hands of Karachi Vice so I guess I don't blame him for running out on you. What a coward. Kirchner: Hold on Brenda. That had nothing to do with it. We had a lot of long talks and we both wanted to pursue separate goals. Simple as that. I wish Don the best of luck and I'll always be there if he needs me. Brenda: (Rolls her eyes) Oh how noble. Well since your here and this is the place to be. Just what are your goals? Kirchner: My goal is to win the TV title and that's the road I'm going to travel. I'm in the best shape of my life and I have all these great American fans backing me up! Big POP! Brenda: (Sarcastically) Well good luck because I don't think you could last 5 minutes with Tony St. Clair. He is after all simply the best. Well fans that's all for this week until next week tooooodles. Brenda is annoyed because she's drowned out by the fans cheers as Kirchner is waving the flag in front of her. Commercial Break "Super" Steve O vs. Vic Dutro Steve wins it with a flying press! The fans boo as Steve puts on his T-Shirt with a Superman symbol on the front, then heads to the podium. Steve: Lance, I know these people were booing the man I just defeated but it's ok because I put down yet another villain so you can stand up and cheer. (More Boos) Lance, there is just to much chaos going on in the USWA and like I said it takes a superhero to stop it. What's this I hear about some evil invaders coming in next week? I've heard they've been called the Legion of Doom. Legion of Doom Lance! I knew this day would come. This is serious, but I want you and all these great people to know that I will protect them. Super Steve O is on the job! Lance: (puzzled look as he watches Steve walk away) I really think he should be checked out. Big 6 man title match when we return. Central States 6-Man Tag Title Match The Elite (C) w/Arnold Skaaland vs. The Technicians and "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab Solid match as both sides show off some great technical ability. The Elite take control as they work Rheingans over. Gagne nails him with a high dropkick then tags in Hart. Hart executes a hanging suplex then tags in Sammartino. Hart swings Rheingans to the ropes and Sammartino hits a powerslam 1..2..Rhengans barley gets his shoulder up. Skaaland and the Elite are irate and are yelling at the Ref while holding up 3 fingers. While they're yelling at the ref, Rheingans crawls over and tags in Roop. Sammartino turns around and is put down with a shoulder block. Gagne runs in and gets slammed. Hart runs in and Roop back drops him. Roop picks up Sammartino, swings him to the ropes and puts him down with a back elbow smash. Roop tags in Bassarab. Bassarab goes to the top rope. Roop body slams Sammartino and Bassarab crashes down with a flying leg drop 1..2..Hart and Gagne break the count and stomp away on Bassarab. Roop and Rheingans run in and we got a pier six brawl going on! The Ref is trying to get order. Sammartino swings Bassarab to the corner and charges in but Bassarab moves then rolls Sammartino up but the Ref is distracted. As the Ref is guiding the Technicians to their corner, Skaaland loads his towel and hands it to Gagne. Gagne whacks Bassarab with it as Sammartino rolls him over just as the Ref turns around 1..2..3! Technicians run in as the Elite roll out of the ring. Skaaland hands them their titles and they raise them high as the fans boo. Skaaland leads his team to the podium. Lance: Well that was a pretty shady victory Arnold. Skaaland: What are you talking about? That was teamwork at its finest. These guys are a unit, a force a true team and most of all champions. That my friend is why they are the Elite! The Elite all smile and hold up their titles as Skaaland wipes their titles with his towel. Commercial Break Lance: Fans, next stop is Star Wars. The main event will be Jerry Lawler defending the USWA title against Terry Funk. Here are some highlights followed by pre recorded comments from both men. Highlights go back to last year when Lawler and Funk battled over the title. Cuts to Funk's return a few weeks ago when he attacked Lawler and gave him 3 piledrivers. Multiple brawls during tag matches and run ins. The shocking parking lot fight where Funk tried to run Lawler over with his car! Funk: Lawler! You're nothing but a good for nothing jackass! That title belongs to me and so do you! I'm going to beat you until you're bleeding and begging for mercy and then I'm going to take that title and then I'm going to make sure you're out of the wrestling business for good! Lawler: Terry Funk! You and I have gone round and round but this title proves that I'm the better man. I beat you before and I guaran damn tee you I'll beat you again! You're running so scared that you actually tried to run me over but you even failed at that. You're nothing but a failure and you're defiantly not a man. Come Star Wars I'm going to expose you for the fraud that you are. Because behind that tough and crazy act of yours, you're nothing but a chicken ----! Labor Day Star Wars! Solid card with something for everybody. Liked the opening battle between the up and coming tag teams. Buddy Jack's cockiness costs him big time as Armstrong gets the upset win. Rotunda shows some fire as he takes it to his former partner Waylon. This is far from over. Boone looked liked a monster as he gets an impressive win over Smiley. Perez vs. Mando was my favorite match on the card. What an exciting match up! Poffo is having a nice run as LHW champ. Hard hitting match to end the night. Manny gives Texas Red a real fight but Red retains in the end.

Nothing like a good OMG squash to get things going. LOL, Percy paying Slinker was classic. I imagine Piper will be coming back with a vengeance but he'll need some back up going up against the Dynasty. I remember liking Hall and Hennig as AWA tag champs. They look ready for all challengers. Watch out AWA, Bad News is coming! Martel gets some payback and Tyree Pride scores a big upset over HTM. I'm all for a Fabs/Rockers feud! Those matches will be off the charts! Poor Steve Doll. Nikita puts an end to Doll's short reign and is now a dual champ! Very interesting. Wild match to end the show! This can only mean we'll be getting a rematch...YES! Can't wait for SuperClash!

Can't think of a better match to kick things off then Hart and Tanaka. Busick is becoming a star. He gets a hard hitting win over Starr then helps out Blackwell. Busick could be a threat to Jake and co. That Kabuki/Hito match was worth the price of admission. Kabuki gets a lot of satisfaction here. Another solid match between Orton and Armstrong. I really like Orton's CA title run. WOW! Is it possible? Billy Jack and the Playboy becoming a cohesive unit? Great story going here. I have a feeling the Warlords are going to be coming back for more.

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 8-28-85 Show opens with footage from last week's parking lot brawl between Jerry Lawler and Terry Funk. Then it cuts to where Funk gets in his car and actually tries to run Lawler over but luckily Lawler dove out of the way at the last minute. More footage from last week is shown of Carlos Colon and Tiger Jeet Singh brawling into the crowd as a swarm of security tries to break them up. Lance Russell: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. Fans we once again witnessed the shocking footage of what went down last week. As I said Jerry Lawler did not press charges against Terry Funk but instead wanted him in the ring tonight. Well listen to this, Jerry Lawler will team with Carlos Colon to take on Terry Funk and Tiger Jeet Singh! But that's not it. Jerry Jarrett doesn't want them putting the fans in danger so this will be a lumberjack match! I'm still not sure I want to be anywhere near that match. Also tonight, Kevin Kelly and DJ Peterson will go at it in an arm wrestling match. That should be interesting. Right now I want to show all of you a tape sent to us by Mid Atlantic Championship wrestling. Bob Caudle is standing with The Road Warriors and Paul Ellering. They finish watching the tape of the Grapplers challenging them to a match at Labor Day Star Wars. Caudle: Gentlemen, your response? Ellering: Bob Caudle...the last time these masked men faced my Road Warriors, they were left broken and beaten. Afraid?!? What the hell do we have to be afraid of from the likes of you? Grapplers! If you want another beatdown, we will be happy to come down to Fort Worth...and provide it. Animal: Grapplers! You think you can intimidate us? You're lookin' at two of the baddest men from the mean streets of Chicago. We snack on danger and dine on death! And on September 5th, we just might put you out of wrestling! Hawk: Ohhhhhhh what a RUSH! Back Live Lance: Ok with me now are the Grapplers. Well you just heard the Road Warriors answer. Grappler 1: Oh we heard it and that's exactly what we wanted! At Star Wars, we're going to show the world that we are the greatest tag team in wrestling. And we know they're running scared because they know that we can go toe to toe with them and come out on top! Grappler 2: You talk a big game but Road Warriors you don't intimidate us one bit! And Ellering, don't even think about getting involved because if you do we'll put you down! (Grappler 2 slaps his hand) Grappler 1: Road Warriors! You're the ones who will be left beaten and broken down! That's just a cold hard fact! Lance: Ok, there you have it. Should be an outstanding match up. Fans in Fort worth, you won't want to miss that one. It all happens on September 5th at the Labor day Star Wars event. We'll be right back. Commercial Break The Technicians and "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab vs. Chet Stevens, Arnold Goldstein and Orson Jones Technicians use an extensive amount of their wrestling arsenal while Bassarab comes in with his high octane offense. Match ends when the Technicians double suplex Stevens then tag in Bassarab, who crashes down from the top rope with a flying leg drop for the pin! Lance brings them over and announces that next week's TV show will be broadcasted from the Sportatorium in Dallas. On that show The Elite will defend their Central States 6 Man titles against the Technicians and Bassarab. Technicians say they've earned this shot by beating all the different combinations of the Elite in tag matches. Technicians say they have found the perfect partner in Bassarab to take the straps away from the not so Elite. Commercial Break "The Vin Man" Vinnie Valentino vs. Willie Lopez Once again Vinnie comes out with an entourage of women. Vinnie is wearing a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses. Vinnie works his opponent over and makes sure the fans hear him brag about every move he performs. Vinnie body slams Lopez then goes to the top rope. Lopez slowly rises as Vinnie hits a sunset flip from the top rope for the pin! The fans boo as Vinnie and his entourage head for the podium. Lance: Ok Vinnie, two weeks ago you hit Sunny War Cloud over the head with the ringside bell. Last week Sunny was in action and said all it did was upset him and he wants you in the ring. I've been informed that next week Sunny gets his wish and the two of you will meet in the ring. Vinnie: Lance, what's with that Misty Cloud? The guy's a lunatic. He wears that face paint and goes around screaming and scaring my woman here. All I did was try and knock some sense into him. Obviously it didn't work. I guess I'll have to finish him off next week and send him back to whatever looney bin he came from. I'm the one that can do it because I'm the Vin Man..Yea! All the woman grip his arms as he escorts them out. Lance: I still don't know what to make of him. We'll be back Commercial Break Arm wrestling match "The Wrecking Machine" DJ Peterson vs. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly The table is set up in the middle of the ring. DJ is pumped up and ready but Kelly just smirks and waves him off as he grabs the mic. Kelly: Look here DJ Dummy, I know you're putting on a show for these people by acting like you're ready to do this but why don't you save yourself the embarrassment and just walk away. Come on! You can't compete with these guns. Kelly tosses the mic and gives DJ a double bicep pose. The fans cheer as DJ sits in his chair and puts his arm up and yells "Come on!" The Ref tells Kelly to sit down or he's declaring DJ the winner. Kelly yells at the booing fans then sits down. After a few lock ups, Kelly gets major heat as he continues to pull away. The Ref gives him one last warning. They finally lock in and the Ref officially starts it. Both men put all their strength into it and go all out. Kelly gets the upper hand for a bit but the fans rally behind DJ and he comes back hard. The fans are going wild as DJ pulls Kelly's arm slowly over and is ready to put it down. Kelly pulls DJ forward and over the table, then grabs his chair and hits DJ over his back! Kelly swings the chair down and gives DJ another whack! The Ref steps up but Kelly pushes him down. Kelly drops his chair, picks up DJ by his hair then slams his head on the table! Kelly smiles then clamps on the full nelson! Kelly wrenches away then swings DJ around and tosses him across the ring! Officials hit the ring as Kelly calmly walks out. Commercial Break Porkchop Cash vs. Vic Dutro Cash is all over Dutro before he swings him to the ropes and puts him down with a crossbody flying headbutt! The fans cheer as Cash pumps his fist to them and heads for the podium. Lance: Ok, next week you will get your long awaited match with Gerry Morrow at Star Wars. Cash: Morrow! Boy you made a big mistake and brother you gonna pay big time at Star Wars! I know you think you're something special with all that money of yours. You think you're better than everybody else. Yea, you might be able to buy a lot of nice things but brother you can't buy happiness and happiness is going to be me putting you down for the one, two, three! And then you can take all that money of yours and enjoy retirement! And then, when you get to wherever it is you're going... tell them Porkchop Cash sent ya! Lance: (Smiling and laughing) Ok, Porkchop Cash everybody. We'll be back. Commercial Break We come back to a music video that shows Bob Brown training Mike George as CCR's Fortunate Son plays. George is running, hitting the weights and sparing with wrestlers in a ring set up outside. The video ends with George standing at the top of a hill in front of a sunset. Back Live The Lone Stars vs. William Hillman and Todd Rooney Total hard hitting squash as the Lone Stars win the match with a double clothesline on Rooney! Hillman goes in to help his partner but the Lone Stars put him down with a double clothesline! Boos as they head to the podium. Lone Stars cut a promo and say they only have a week to wait until they get to put another beating on the Sweet Ebony Express! They say they're going to have a fun time doing it! Commercial Break "The Tidal Wave" Tui Selinga w/Leilani Kai vs. Carl Kellerman Tui breaks a lot of rules but also pulls out some high flying maneuvers. Tui ends things with a flying elbow drop from the top rope! Kai brings her entire stable to the podium. Tui and the Medics walk over as Kai hooks the chain around Rip Morgan's neck before pulling him to the podium. Lance: Big night for your men at Star Wars. I know Siva Afi is more than ready especially after your guy Tui costed him a chance at the TV title last week. And of course (looks nervously at Morgan, who's stomping and yelling) the wild man here will have his hands full with Hercules Ayala. Tui: Whoa, first of all, there was no way that uneducated banana eating monkey Siva Afi was going to win the TV title. Could you imagine a savage like him representing the USWA on TV? At Star Wars, I'm going to get rid of that disgrace to the Polynesian people and then the sky's the limit for me! Kai: (pulls the chain on Morgan) That's exactly right. This is very personal and important for Tui and I'm supporting him all the way. Siva Afi, you're on borrowed time. Now, you see my Medics and it wont be long before you see them wearing gold. And Hercules Ayala, come Star Wars, this chain comes off and the monster will be released. It will be out of my hands. Ripper Morgan is going to brutalize, beat and destroy you. We told you there can only be one man at the top of the mountain and you're looking at the real deal! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign then pans down on Brenda Britton. Brenda: Hi everybody and welcome once again to the highest rated segment in wrestling, the Beauty Shop. Now last week my guests were the very delightful Fabulous Blondes. What a difference a week makes because joining me now (lets out a sad sigh) are Tommy Lane and Mike Davis, the Rock N Roll RPMS. The fans pop as the RPMS come out. Brenda: I'm not sure why they cheer you but boo a classy team like the Fabulous Blondes. I know you guys are cheaters and I saw you cheat your way to the big title shot at Star Wars. IIIIIIIII think you should do the right thing and give the Fabulous Blondes that shot. Davis: Well Brenda we could care less what you think. Massive cheers as Brenda is shocked. Lane: The Ref made the count and raised our hands. The title shot is ours. And we know what you're trying to do. You and the Blondes are trying to distract us before our title match with Karachi Vice at Star Wars. But it's not going to work! Brenda: Cheaters! Davis: Hey! We've worked long and hard for this shot and come Labor day we're winning the belts! Brenda: Spoken like true cheaters! I can't believe I had to lower this show's standards by having you two punks as my guests. You boys are frauds and should be ashamed of yourselves! You ruined this week's show! Just get out of here! Brenda starts pushing the RPMS and telling them to leave. Lane: You know Brenda, I think it's time we gave you something that's long overdue. The fans are up and cheering as Lane pulls Brenda over his knee and Davis starts spanking her! Brenda is kicking and screaming as the fans are loving it! The RPMS have a good laugh and head out. Brenda is heated as she tries to speak but is to upset to say anything. The fans cheer louder as she just throws the mic down and storms out. Commercial Break Hercules Ayala vs. Mike Atkins Ayala is pumped up tonight as he clamps on the bearhug, rams Atkins into the turnbuckles and belly to belly suplexes him over for the pin! Ayala cuts a promo while holding up his fist and tells Morgan he's going to feel the pain at Star Wars! Commercial Break "Crippler" Rip Oliver vs. Roy Glader Oliver just pummels Glader before finishing him off with a flying forearm blast from the middle ropes! Oliver is fired up but is nailed from behind by TOMMY and JOHNNY RICH! The Rich's put the boots to him. Johnny picks up Oliver and holds him while Tommy slaps him several times across the face while laughing. They hurl Oliver out of the ring and raise their arms as the fans boo. Vinnie Valentino goes against Sunny War Cloud. The Elite defend the 6 Man titles against the Technicians and Ben Bassarab. And I've been informed by the Corporation that the Company Men, Arthur Crews and Kenneth Timbs will make their televised debut. Fans... Dr. Dream Machine pops up. Lance: Dream Machine, what are you doing here? Dream: (Grabs Lance by his shirt, shakes him and pushes him back) DOCTOR Dream Machine! Lance: Alright I'm out of here! Dream grabs the mic. Dream: I'm out here babay to tell Dicky Boy Slater that his Central States title reign ends on Labor Day! Dicky Boy you can't compete with a competitor such as myself. Commercial Break Lance: Ok fans I'm back but I don't know for how long. The wrestlers are coming out and surrounding the ring. This is going to get crazy I'm sure of that. Siva Afi, Hercules Ayala, Tui Selinga, Tommy Rich, Dream Machine, Lone Stars, Sweet Ebony Express come out and surround the ring. Tensions are high as the wrestlers are already yelling at each other. Lumberjack Tag Team Match USWA Champ Jerry "The King" Lawler and Carlos Colon vs. Terry Funk and Tiger Jeet Singh Massive boos as Funk and Singh wildly make their way out. Funk's got his branding iron and Singh's swinging his sword around. WHAM!! Lawler and Colon storm out and nail them from behind! The branding iron and sword go flying as all four men start brawling. The other wrestlers run over to try and get control but in only a matter of seconds all out chaos ensues. Lone Stars and Sweet Ebony Express are battling up the aisle! Tui Selinga and Siva Afi are exchanging blows. Hercules Ayala tries to break them up but from out of the back, Leilani Kai unhooks the chain and Ripper Morgan runs over and gives Ayala a big boot to the head! Tommy Rich grabs Lawler and let's Funk pound away on him. Wait a minute! Rip Oliver runs out and knocks Tommy down and puts the boots to him! Hold on! Johnny Rich of course runs out and nails Oliver! Dream Machine nails Colon and Singh regroups and starts stomping on Colon. It's not over because the fans go nuts when Dick Slater runs out and tackles Dream Machine and unloads on him with fists! While all this is going on, Singh grabs his sword and starts choking Colon! Funk and Lawler are fighting non stop! Lance: Fans this is out of control! We have to go! I've mentioned this before but I'll say it again, I love your format and storytelling during the matches. An example would be when you mentioned Dundee's past mentoring coming into play in Cameron's match. Waylon DDT's his way to a victory over Smiley but hey he aint such a bad guy as he shakes an unconscious Smiley's hand afterwards LOL. Kabuki and Adams have a wild one! That 6 man match at Firestorm is going to be an even wilder one! Poffo and Brookside put on a fast paced exciting match that keeps the fans on the edge of their seats. Flamboyance and British Steel will be a classic tag match at Firestorm. Gilbert vs. Hart! Thank You! Great main event with a great finish as Gilbert gets the big win with his Hot Shot!

Oh man what a night of surprises! Bravo and Bock both look good. Looking forward to the Fabulous Ones returning! Great to see the Fiesta Garden back! Savage couldn't of picked a better partner than Brody. LOL, I cracked up when Brody destroyed the set and Chicky ran off with his Casio. You have to have a graphic warning if Link and Abby are involved. This will get bloodier. Garvin racks up another KO! Huge upset as Steve Doll wins the TV title!! I wouldn't want to be Valiant and HTM when Martel gets his hands on them. The TV title segment will add so much interest each and every week. AWA champ Nikita calls out Bock. Nikita is a monster but never count Bock out. What an ending! You don't see Piper getting outsmarted often but Percy really pulled one over on him tonight. I was wondering if you would bring the East West Connection back and you did! Along with OMG, the Dynasty is bigger than ever. And now they have some gold. I know Piper will regroup and have a plan. Can't wait to see where this goes.

The build to Beach Brawl was a wild one. That tag team battle royal shows how stack your tag division is. Cool seeing the Cowboys get the big win. Wow! LeDuc beats Fuller for the Twin States title and earns himself a NWA title shot! Beach Brawl opens with some good prelim bouts as Savoldi, Invaders and Brisco get the fans going. Bota has a firm grip on the Jr. Title. He might have the advantage over Armstrong in their upcoming NO DQ match. Dirty Dutch beats Valiant but can he do the same to Brisco next week? Plowboy continues to take Akbar's crew down piece by piece. It helps having allies like Fuller and Golden. The Assassins unmask the Nightmares! Could taking their titles be next??? It's going to be hard beating Sawyer in a dog collar match. Bullet Bob found this out. Even though the Cowboys came up short, I'm sure they earned the fans respect after that solid showing against the NWA tag champs. I bet they earned Harley's respect as well. Big time main event to close the show! Magnum does it again with the belly to belly! Twin States has some serious momentum going.

Looks like Cooley and Mantell are gelling well as they rise the tag team ranks. Ok, I'm pumped up for a Scott Armstrong/Bota feud over the Jr. title. Man, Dirty Dutch is such a great hand to have. He goes from comic heel to violent heel in a matter of seconds. I'm sure Brisco is going to be coming after him with a vengeance. Steve Strong has quickly established himself here. Somebody needs to get that chisel away from Wright. Oh man a third Assassin!!! You've got a great story going on here. Plowboy overcomes his first obstacle as he seeks revenge on Akbar. Violent Gentlemen have an ace up their sleeve in the Australian Rules match. LeDuc is a major factor and puts Fuller down to win the match. Awesome main event! Bullet Bob gives the fans a big feel good moment as he beats Sawyer for the Gulf Coast title! What a pay off! Props to you Gene for all your hard work in getting caught up.

Great to see you back Gene!!!! So much good stuff going on as Twin States gets ready for Beach Brawl. Akbar has arrived and Devastation Inc. is ready to cause some serious trouble! LOL, love this feud going on between Dirty Dutch and Brisco. Violent Gentlemen live up to their name as they win a wild one over Fuller and Golden. Fireball and all. WOW! 8 men handcuffed and somebody still manages to interfere LOL. Steve Strong makes quite the debut. With 3 Nightmares running around, it's going to be hard taking those straps from them. Well Giant Machine didn't last long with Akbar and now Plowboy is going to want some payback. Bota is enjoying a good title reign courtesy of his voodoo dust. Fun character. Like the Cooley/Mantell pairing. Steve Strong is heading for an explosive showdown with Brad Armstrong! When you see Bullet Bob and Mad Dog Sawyer going at it in a lights out match, you know it's going to get bloody! It does and Bullet gets the big win.

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 8-21-85 Lance: Hello everybody and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA network. Huge show lined up for you. Listen to these matches. Tony St. Clair will defend the TV title against Siva Afi. Tiger Jeet Singh will be in action tonight! Gigantic 8 man tag main event as Dick Slater, Rip Oliver, Duke Myers and DJ Peterson will clash with Dr. Dream Machine, Tommy Rich, Timothy Flowers and Kevin Kelly. That should be..... wait a minute! What! Fans we have some sort of fight going on in the parking lot. Our cameras are on it. Cameramen are running down the hall and kick open the back door to the parking lot. Jerry Lawler and Terry Funk are in the middle of a slugfest! They're fighting all over the place. Security members run out to stop it but Funk and Lawler throw them aside and resume their fight! Funk gets the upper hand and slams Lawler's head on the hood of a car! Funk grabs Lawler by his hair and slams his head on the car's side door. Lawler's head is busted open. More Security along with officials and prelim wrestlers run out. Funk gets in his car and backs out. Everybody helps Lawler up. Lawler brushes them away and stands up. Somebody yells "Look Out!" Funk is driving full throttle at Lawler! Lawler dives out of the way at the last second as Funk's car crashes into a parked car. Funk opens his door and staggers out. Lawler goes after him but everybody gets in between the two. It's a chaotic scene as a commercial hits. Commercial Break Lance: I don't know what to say. That was one of the most shocking things I've ever witnessed. I understand Lawler has been taken to a nearby hospital. I also understand Funk is being questioned by authorities. More on this as it develops. Let's go to the ring. Sweet Ebony Express vs. Gary Williams and Todd Rooney Norvell and Sugar are electric tonight as they have the fans up and cheering. Norvell back drops Rooney then tags in Sugar. Sugar goes to the top rope. Rooney staggers up and Sugar nails him with a missile dropkick for the win! They pump their fists to the fans and head to the podium. Norvell: Lone Stars! Boys, you are going to regret the day you messed with the oh so sweet Ebony Express! Sugar: That's right, come Labor Day at Star Wars, we're going to beat you at your own game! And I'm talking about a good ol fashion fight baby! Commercial Break "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab vs. Trent Watkins Bassarab is all over Watkins with his high flying offense. Bassarab hits a vertical suplex then goes to the top rope and crashes down with a flying leg drop for the pin! Commercial Break TV Title Bout Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair (C) w/Les Thornton vs. "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi Tony executes a couple hip tosses and says to Siva "That's how it's done" They lock up and this time Siva hip tosses him over. Tony gets up and Siva dropkicks him through the ropes. Les runs over to help Tony while Siva shakes his fists to the cheering fans. Tony gets on the apron but doesn't want to get in the ring. Him and the Ref are arguing. Siva walks over and Tony rakes his eyes, then snaps his head on the top rope. Tony picks up Siva and hits a delayed vertical suplex, then picks up Siva and hits a gut wrench suplex, then follows with a German suplex 1..2..Siva raises his shoulder. From the outside Les is yelling at the Ref. Tony executes a backbreaker then climbs to the top rope and goes for a flying elbow drop but Siva moves! Siva clears the cobwebs, picks up Tony and hits a snap suplex. Siva swings off the ropes and delivers a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out! Les jumps on the apron. Siva runs over and a chop puts Les down. Siva body slams Tony then goes to the top rope. TUI SELINGA runs out and pushes Siva off the rope! The Ref signals for the DQ. Leilani Kai is telling Tui to put the hurt on Siva. Tui hits the ring and puts the boots to Siva. Tony staggers up and joins in. Les even gets in the ring and joins in. Boos as they stomp away on Siva. The boos turn to cheers as Yoshiaki Yatsu and Masanobu Fuchi run in and quickly clear the ring! Commercial Break Lance: What a shame. Siva Afi was on his way to becoming the TV champ until Tui Selinga interfered. At Star Wars, Siva will go one on one with Selinga. Also Tony St. Clair will defend the TV title against Yoshiaki Yatsu. Les Thornton better watch out because I'm sure Fuchi will be watching his friend's back. Back to the ring. Sunny War Cloud vs. Willie Lopez Sunny's head is bandaged up from that ring bell shot last week by Vinnie Valentino. It doesn't seem to affect him much because Sunny makes quick work of Lopez and finishes him off with a tomahawk chop from the top rope! Cheers as Sunny heads to the podium. Sunny: Vinnie Valentino! You're nothing but a coward! Yea you nailed me real good but as you can see the only thing you did was make me mad. You and I will meet very soon and when it's over I'll be the only one standing! The fans cheer as Sunny yells out a War Cry. Commercial Break "Champagne" Gerry Morrow vs. Vic Dutro Morrow finishes the match with a sleeper. Morrow grabs a bottle and glass and heads to the podium. Lance: Ok, I know you're having a good time but you better be ready for Porkchop Cash at Star Wars. Morrow pours champagne into his glass. Morrow: First things first, a toast to another fine victory. Morrow takes a drink. Morrow: AAAHHHH! That's the good stuff. Porkchop Cash is a foolish man. For the first time in his pathetic life, I gave him the chance to come with me and enjoy the finer things. He was very rude and ended up getting knocked out. I will do the same at Star Wars. Now onto other things. Lance, did you know I just bought a brand new Cadillac? Lance: No, I wasn't aware. Morrow: Of course, I should of known. You're just like Porkchop Cash, not in my class, not even close. Morrow laughs and walks out. Lance: (Rolling his eyes) Alright, we'll be right back Commercial Break A Car is driving down a road as the camera looks ahead then turns to the driver. It's Bulldog Bob Brown. Bob drives the car up to a house and parks. Bob: This is the place. Follow me. They get out and walk towards the house. A man is sitting on his porch carving on a piece of wood. The camera zooms in revealing Mike George. Mike looks up and sees Bob. He stops what he's doing. Bob: Hello Mike, it's been awhile. Mike: Bob, this is quite the surprise. What are you doing here? Bob: I've come to bring you back. Back to wrestling. Mike: (long pause) Bob, I think you wasted your time. I'm done for awhile...maybe forever. Bob: I want you to listen up and quit feeling sorry for yourself. So that jerk Arnold Skaaland gave up on you. So your previous tag team partners gave up on you. So what! The Mike George I know beat me for the Central States title once upon a time. That's the Mike George I want to see again! I'm here to help you and show the world just who you really are. Now get up and let's get started! Mike looks down unsure of what to do. Bob: Come on Mike. I'm here to help. Come on and let's do this. Mike slowly looks up and nods. Mike rises and shakes Bob's hand. Bob: That a boy! Back live Lance: Well ok, it looks like Bob Brown has returned and it seems he wants to get Mike George back on track. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of this. Fans, get ready because when we come back, Tiger Jeet Singh will be in the ring. I have to admit, I'm a little nervous about this. Commercial Break Tiger Jeet Singh vs. Carl Kellerman There's a big commotion as Singh heads to the ring swinging his sword around like a madman. An attendant is in the aisle and Singh pushes him over then kicks him. Singh hits the ring and nails Carl with his sword then starts choking him. The Ref tries to pull him off but Singh grabs him and throws him out of the ring. Singh starts beating down on Carl with his sword. Massive cheers as Carlos Colon hits the ring and nails Singh from behind! Colon and Singh are brawling all over and through the ropes! They keep fighting and fight into the crowd! For the second time tonight, Security, officials and prelim wrestlers run out to try and stop this. It's another crazy scene. Commercial Break Lance: This has been one of the wildest shows I've ever been a part of. My goodness! Ok, things seem under control, back to the ring. "Super" Steve O vs. Arnold Goldstein Steve takes off his Superman T-Shirt and is ready for action. Steve simply outclasses his opponent and wins the match with a flying body press. Steve puts his shirt back on and goes to the podium. Steve: Lance, you've been through a lot tonight so I'll take it from here. You know it's villains like Jerry Lawler and Carlos Colon that put innocent people in danger. I want you and all these great people to know that Super Steve O will not rest until all the villains in the USWA have been eradicated! Lance, fear not because Super Steve O is on the job! Steve exits. Lance: I wonder where Super Steve was during all that chaos earlier. Ok, we'll be back. Commercial Break The camera pans in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign then zooms in on Brenda Britton. Brenda: Hi everybody and welcome once again to the highest rated segment in wrestling the Beauty Shop. As you all know I have all the inside scoops and right now I want to announce that on September 4th, the night before Star Wars, the USWA will have a special TV show broadcasted from the Sportatorium in Dallas. And listen to this, a team that I have a financial investment in will make their televised in ring debut. I'm talking about none other than the Company Men! I can't wait. Now, speaking of great tag teams, my guests tonight are two of my favorite people, Steve Regal and Chick Donovan, the Fabulous Blondes. Boos as The Fabulous Blondes strut out. They each take Brenda's hand and give it a kiss. Brenda: Oh my, such gentlemen. Now, I defiantly watched last week as those cheating RPMS cheated their way to a title shot. The politics here are ridiculous. Chick: Absolutely right Brenda. A woman with brains like you have, totally sees what's going on. Regal: RPMS! Jerry Jarrett says that was the last match against you but we say no way! You cheated us out of a tag title shot and we're not going to let it slide! Brenda: I support you guys all the way! Commercial Break USWA Tag Team Champs The Karachi Vice vs. Sam Smith and Roy Glader Makhan powerslams Smith over, then swings off the ropes and hits a big body splash! Makhan tags in Gama. Gama applies the camel clutch and it's all over. Boos as they head to the podium. Lance: Ok, last week the RPMS defeated the Fabulous Blondes to earn a shot at those tag titles on Labor Day at Star Wars. Makhan: The who? Those two pretty boys don't stand a chance against a devastating force like us! Gama: For months we have held these titles and nobody has come close to defeating us! At Star Wars we are going to make an example of that weak team. The only thing they earned was a severe beating by us! Lance: Ok there you have it from the USWA tag team champs. Our big main event when we come back. It's a wild one and the Ref has a tough time controlling it. Slater and Dream Machine have their brawling moments. DJ and Kelly give the fans a good slugfest. Flowers tries to avoid Myers. Oliver gets in a lot of shots on Rich. Everybody knew it would happen and it did. A pier six brawl starts and it's pandemonium! Slater clotheslines Dream Machine over the top rope then goes out after him. DJ and Kelly end up brawling through the ropes and to the outside. Oliver hurls Rich to the outside and follows but Johnny nails him from behind. Tommy and Johnny put the boots to Oliver. Inside the ring, Myers finally gets a hold of Flowers and put him down with a back elbow smash. Myers looks out and sees the Rich's double teaming Oliver. Myers goes to the ropes. Flowers pulls something out of his tights. Flowers runs over and clocks Myers on the back of his head then rolls him over as the Ref counts 1..2..3! Slater and Dream are fighting on the outside while DJ and Kelly are brawling on the other side. The Rich's pick Oliver up and push him into the steel post, busting him open. While all this is going on, Flowers runs to the podium. Flowers: Did you se that Lance! I told you I would do it and I did! I beat that dope Duke Myers! HAHAHAHA I told you, I'm the mailman and I always deliver! Lance: Ok, enough, we need more help out here. Fists are still flying as the commercial hits. Commercial Break Lance: Oh my, what a show. Fans, you're not going to believe this but Jerry Lawler will not press charges against Terry Funk and instead wants him in the ring next week. I've been told that next week, here on TV, Jerry Lawler will team with Carlos Colon to face Terry Funk and Tiger Jeet Singh! I can't believe it. I really hope Jerry Jarrett brings in extra security. Solid card in Eugene. Blackwell and Nord will always be a fun hard hitting match up between two monsters. No doubt Brookside will get some valuable experience by being in the ring with Taylor. Zenk gets a much needed win over Starr to get back on the winning track. The 6 man tag match alone would of been worth the price of admission. Busick once again gets the shine with his Spinebuster slam! Fun TV title match as Red once again retains, this time over a game Tatum.

What an action packed night of tag team wrestling! Every since their attitude change, the Guerreros have been on a roll. Busick gets the pin on Manny. Busick is quickly rising the ranks. Love that spinebuster slam finisher. Hyatt's men vs. Hart's men is the type of feud that can go on forever. So many different match ups. The Snakepit is on the verge of taking over Pacific. That British Steel/Flamboyance match is a show stealer. WOW! Buddy Rose and Billy Jack on the same side! What a moment for the Portland fans! Can this unlikely duo eventually win the titles? It's going to be a fun ride. Steamboat and Southern Boys win round 1 over the Freebirds. Gordy and Steamboat at Firestorm could be the match of the year.

The AWA is back baby! Show kicks off with a bang as Parsons, Slick, Conway and Whatley make their presence and unity known. WOW! The Rockers are heels and have aligned with Sherri! This is what fantasy booking is all about. Sheepherders get a big TV win over the Killer Bees. I'm glad you're keeping the TV title lottery. We're guaranteed a good match every week. I know Martel isn't going to let HTM get away with that guitar shot. LOL! Slinker shows off his martial arts skills then gets knocked out cold by Garvin. This was great. The Piper/Percy segment was hilarious. Piper is gold on the mic. I wonder who Percy is bringing in? Savage looks better than ever but then takes a vicious beating from Bass and Jaggers! I'm thinking Savage is going to find himself a partner to get some payback. I like the highlights of the guys who weren't on the show. Like Den mentioned, keeps them fresh in the fans minds. Awesome start! And yes, Wahoo, you defiantly know how to scout talent.

USWA House Shows 8-15 to 8-20 Dunn Center, Eblen Center, Ellis Auditorium "Super" Steve O vs. Larry Hazelton Steve wins it with a flying press. The Technicians vs. The Medics w/Leilani Kai After a few minutes all four men are fighting. In the middle of all the chaos, Rheingans cradles Medic 2 for the pin! Medics quickly get their heat back with a post match beating on the Technicians. Duke Myers vs. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly These two take a break from their other feuds. You would think they were involved in a feud with each other because things get intense. They fight to the outside. The Ref counts as fists are flying. Kelly is going for a piledriver but Myers back drops him on the concrete and rolls back in the ring to beat the count and get the win. Tiger Jeet Singh vs. "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab Singh is a madman as the boos thunder down on him while he swings his sword at the fans. Singh storms the ring and nails Bassarab with the sword! Singh beats Bassarab down as the Ref is trying to pull him off. A swarm of officials hit the ring and warn Singh. Singh threatens them with his sword before leaving. The match is a no contest. Hercules Ayala and "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi vs. "The Real Thing" Ripper Morgan and "The Tidal Wave" Tui Selinga w/Leilani Kai Wild tag match! Ayala and Morgan provide the hard hitting power while Siva and Tui provide some high flying action. Things get crazy when Siva and Tui fight to the outside while Ayala and Morgan brawl through the ropes on the other side. The Medics run down and ambush Siva! "Crippler" Rip Oliver vs. Tommy "Wildfire" Rich w/"The Memphis Mafia Man" Johnny Rich Once again these guys are both bleeding within minutes. After a wild 10 minutes, the Ref takes a bump. Oliver is in total control but Johnny Rich jumps off the top rope and nails him with a foreign object. Oliver goes down. Johnny puts Tommy on top, then throws the Ref over. The Ref slowly counts 1..2..3! Porkchop Cash and The Sweet Ebony Express vs. The Fabulous Blondes and "Champagne" Gerry Morrow This match keeps the fans on the edge of their seats. These guys go all out for over 30 minutes. Fabs and Express go back and forth with a fast pace. Cash gets his moments with Morrow but Morrow was always quick to tag out. The finish sees Cash knock Morrow off the apron. Norvell sends Regal flying. And Sugar nails Chick with a missile drop kick for the pin! Mega pop to end the night. USWA House Shows 8-15 to 8-20 Corpus Christi Convention Center, Amarillo Civic Center, Humble Civic Center The Company Men (Arthur Crews and Kenneth Timbs) vs. Dave Penson and Joey Souza Yea, the Texas fans don't like these corporate types. They end the match with a double DDT. "The Japanese Fury" Yoshiaki Yatsu vs. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers Flowers breaks all the rules but cant put Yatsu away. Flowers makes the mistake of yelling at the Ref to long. He turns around and Yatsu blasts him with a super kick to the head for the crowd pleasing win. "The Wrecking Machine" DJ Peterson vs. "The Vin Man" Vinnie Valentino DJ makes a big comeback and is all over Vinnie. DJ swings Vinnie to the ropes and sends him flying out of the ring with a flying shoulder block! Vinnie's woman rush to him and help him up but Vinnie falls back down. Vinnie staggers up again and waves his arms. The woman escort him to the back as he gets counted out. American Made vs. The Lone Stars Hard hitting match. The Ref is guiding Kirchner to his corner when Deaton comes from behind and nails Kirchner with a high knee to the back. Lone Stars double team Kernodle and finish him off with a double clothesline for the win! Non Title Match TV Champ Tony "Simply The Best" St. Clair w/Les Thornton vs. Masanobu Fuchi Fuchi gives St. Clair more than he can handle. Fuchi hits a bridging back suplex but Thornton runs in and causes a DQ. Thornton and Tony put the boots to Fuchi. Tony picks up Fuchi and hits his Floating butterfly suplex. Thornton picks up Fuchi and holds him while Tony nails him with a European uppercut. The fans cheer as Yoshiaki Yatsu hits the ring! Yatsu puts Thornton down with a palm strike. Yatsu nails Tony with several palm strikes before Tony bails. Yatsu helps up Fuchi and escorts him out. The Rock n Roll RPMS vs. Central States 6 Man Champs The Elite (Hart and Sammartino) w/Arnold Skaaland Elite combine their scientific skills and rule breaking while the RPMS use their quickness and chemistry. Skaaland tries to interfere with a loaded towel but Davis dropkicks him and the towel falls. Lane picks it up, rewraps it and whacks Hart. Lane covers as Davis tackles Sammartino while the Ref counts 1..2..3! Carlos Colon vs. Central States 6 Man Champ Greg Gagne Skaaland must still be frazzled because he's not out here with Gagne. Pretty decent match that stays relatively clean for awhile until Gagne rakes Colon's eyes on a break. Gagne takes control and seems to be very pleased with himself every time he hits a move. Gagne swings Colon to the corner and charges in but Colon moves. As Gagne staggers back, Colon climbs to the top rope and nails Gagne with a flying clothesline for the pin! USWA Champ Jerry "The King" Lawler, Central States Champ "Unpredictable" Dick Slater and The Grapplers vs. Terry Funk, Dr. Dream Machine and USWA Tag Team Champs Karachi Vice What can you say about a main event like this? This match goes 45 minutes and everybody gets a chance to shine. Of course it ends with chaos. Lawler and Funk are involved in a furious slugfest on the outside. Slater and Dream Machine are fighting up and down the aisle. The Grapplers double clothesline Makhan over the top rope. Gama tries to take a powder but the Grapplers grab him and double slam him. Lawler hurls Funk into the crowd while Slater and Dream Machine disappear to the back. Grappler 1 hoists Gama up while Grappler 2 comes off the middle ropes with a diving clothesline 1..2..3!

USWA TV @ The Knoxville Civic Center 8-14-85 Lance Russell: Hello wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA Network. Tonight you will see the final showdown between the RPMs and Fabulous Blondes, at stake will be a tag team title shot at the upcoming Labor Day Star Wars event from Fort Worth Texas. Also tonight, Vinnie Valentino takes on Sunny War Cloud. Carlos Colon will be in action and we'll see the TV debut of Masanobu Fuchi. Central States 6 man champs The Elite will grace us with a match. All that and Terry Funk will be in the ring! And we'll hear from the USWA champion Jerry Lawler. Fans let's get to the action. Masanobu Fuchi vs. Vic Dutro The fans like Fuchi's hard hitting aggression as he nails Dutro with several palm strikes. Fuchi hits Dutro with a knee lift then grabs him and executes a bridging back suplex for the win! The fans cheer as Fuchi gives them a bow. Commercial Break Central States 6 Man Tag Team Champs The Elite w/Arnold Skaaland vs. Sam Smith, Willie Lopez and Trent Watkins The fans boo as The Elite strolls around the ring in their matching sweat suits. The Elite simply outclass their opponents. Gagne puts Watkins down with a high dropkick then tags in Hart. Hart executes a hanging vertical suplex then tags in Sammartino. Sammartino finishes the match with a powerslam! Boos as Arnold leads them to the podium. Lance: Well I have to say, your men are enjoying an impressive run as Central States 6 man tag champs. Arnold wipes the foreheads of the Elite with his towel. Arnold: Why do you seem surprised Lance? Of course they're enjoying their run. It's just to bad there's no serious competition. Sunny is out cold as Vinnie and his ladies go to the podium. Lance: Oh come on Vinnie, that was clearly a cheap shot out of desperation. Vinnie: Whoa Whoa Whoa! Cheap shot? Nonsense. You saw that no good Misty Cloud threaten my ladies. Look how frightened they are. Misty Cloud is nothing but a monster! Commercial Break "The Real Thing" Ripper Morgan w/Leilani Kai vs. Lucas Jones Kai escorts Morgan to the ring with the chain around his neck. The bell rings and she unleashes him! Pure squash as Morgan literally destroys Jones before putting him out of his misery with a big boot to the head! Kai hooks the chain back around Morgan's neck and takes him to the podium. Tui Selinga joins them. Lance: Leilani Kai, Star Wars will be a big night for your men. Morgan will clash with Hercules Ayala. Tui Selinga goes one on one with Siva Afi. Morgan is stomping and yelling as Kai yanks on the chain. Kai: Look at this man! Do you really think Ayala has a chance? After Star Wars, Ripper Morgan will stand alone at the top of the mountain. As for Siva Afi, well tell him Tui. Tui: Siva Afi, you uneducated banana eating monkey! It's time for the great Polynesian people to be represented by a civilized islander such as myself. You're a disgrace to the Polynesian culture and it's a good thing someone like me has the guts to finally put an end to the embarrassment of you! Kai takes them away. The fans cheer as the Grapplers come out. Brenda: I have to say, your resume is beyond impressive but some people say that every since you lost.... Grappler 1: (grabs the mic as Brenda flinches) Let me stop you right there Brenda because we're so sick and tired of hearing that! You were going to bring up our Crockett Cup loss to the Road Warriors and we're warning the next person that says that is going to get beat down! Grappler 2: That's right! We've been challenging the Road Warriors and we haven't heard anything. It's clearly because they're afraid! Grappler 1: So Brenda right now we are issuing a challenge once again to the Road Warriors but this time we're going to personally send this tape to Mid Atlantic because we want to make damn sure they hear our challenge! Huge 6 man tag match as Rip Oliver teams with Duke Myers and DJ Peterson to take on Tommy Rich, Timothy Flowers and Kevin Kelly. Missy proves to be a smart business woman aligning with Kabuki and Angel. I'm interested in watching a focused Gilbert's quest for the title. Waylon gets a big win over Zenk. Jake has put together one heck of a monster stable. Pacific Warlords! What a great name for Muraco and Snuka. Credit to you for putting these guys together. They're off to a brutal start by putting Bam Bam out and taking Burke down tonight. Busick has guts! This story is going to get good. Didn't see that turn coming as the Dog Pound and Vice Squad set up the Playboy Club! Buddy is going to need reinforcements and fast. Orton and Perez put on another classic. Perez gets the big TV win. USWA House shows 8-9 to 8-13 Tennessee, Indiana and Kentucky loop Gentry Center, Terre Haute Armory, Alumni Coliseum The Technicians vs. Central States 6-man champs The Elite (Gagne and Sammartino) w/Arnold Skaaland Solid tag match between two feuding teams to open the show. After a few minutes, chaos breaks loose. The Ref is trying to break up Gagne and Roop in the corner. Sammartino is holding Rheingans while Skaaland is ready to hit him with a loaded towel but Rheingans ducks and Skaaland nails Sammartino! Rheingans grabs the towel from Skaaland then nails him with it! The Ref turns around as Rheingans covers 1..2..3! Skaaland remains knocked out cold. Terry Funk vs. Curtis Moore Poor Curtis. Funk just annihilates him before putting him out of his misery with a piledriver! Funk then gets his branding iron and leaves his mark on Moore. Duke Myers vs. Central States 6 Man Champ Bruce Hart Skaaland is still reeling in the back so Hart is on his own. Good back and forth match with Hart using his wrestling skills against the roughness of Duke. Boos as TIMOTHY FLOWERS comes out and circles the ring. After a minute, he sees his opportunity and trips Myers coming off the ropes. Myers staggers into a cradle suplex 1..2..3! Flowers has a good laugh while back pedaling up the aisle. The Medics w/Leilani Kai vs. The Rock n Roll RPMS Awesome fast paced tag match that ends in a 10 minute draw. The teams keep fighting. RPMS knock the Medics out of the ring and want 5 more minutes but Leilani Kai smiles and tells them NO. "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab vs. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers Bassarab has Flowers reeling with his high octane offense. Flowers comes back and breaks all the rules. Flowers throws Bassarab out of the ring. While the Ref is looking down and counting, DUKE MYERS his the ring and drops Flowers with a running forearm blast! Myers quickly exits. Bassarab climbs to the top rope and hits a flying leg drop for the pin! The fans cheer as Myers is the one laughing now. "The Wrecking Machine" DJ Peterson vs. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly Another hard hitting contest that ends in a double c.o. NON-TITLE MATCH USWA Tag Team Champs Karachi Vice vs. Yoshiaki Yatsu and Masanobu Fuchi Fuchi has just arrived on the scene and his friend from Japan Yatsu wanted to team up with him. The very confident champs said they would be happy to unleash some punishment and agreed to the non title match. The champs arrogance might of been to much. The Japanese team totally caught them off guard. In the end, Makhan went for an avalanche in the corner but Yatsu moved, quickly tagged in Fuchi who nailed a staggering Makhan with a flying press from the top rope but Gama ran in and hit Fuchi with a chair to get Disqualified! Yatsu then super kicked the chair into Gama's face! That got a big pop. USWA Heavyweight Title Bout Jerry "The King" Lawler (C) vs. "The Vin Man" Vinnie Valentino Vinnie struts around with his entourage of women then grabs the mic. "It's about time! You're all invited to my big title win celebration later tonight because you're looking at the new USWA Champ, The Vin Man, Yea!" The place erupts when Lawler enters. The bell rings and Vinnie doesn't know what hit him. Lawler is all over him as he just beats Vinnie down for the first few minutes. Vinnie's head is busted open. However, Vinnie eventually turns things around and actually impresses with his skills. Vinnie suplexes Lawler then goes to the top rope. Lawler staggers up as Vinnie executes a beautiful sunset flip but wait, Lawler is still up and gets his balance then drops a fist down on Vinnie. Lawler slams Vinnie then goes to the middle rope and crashes down with his fist drop 1..2..3! The fans cheer as Lawler holds his title high. Screams as Terry Funk hits the ring but Lawler turns around and hits him! Both men are going at each other in a furious exchange. A swarm of security hits the ring. They keep breaking free and fighting. It takes awhile to finally separate them. TV Title Bout Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair (C) w/Les Thornton vs. Sunny War Cloud After a few minutes, Sunny is in total control and on the verge of winning the title. Sunny goes to the top rope and is ready to leap off but Les pushes him off! St. Clair follows up with a floating butterfly suplex for the win. BOOOOOOO! The Fabulous Blondes vs. American Made Kernodle's back is still hurting from the TV match with Karachi Vice. After a valiant effort the hurt back comes into play as the Fabs really work it over before finishing him off with a double hot shot! Kirchner had to help Kernodle out of there as the Fabs were jumping up and down celebrating. "Ebony Express" Sweet Brown Sugar vs. "Lone Star" Joel Deaton Due to the events earlier both men's tag team partners are banned from ringside. This one is a wild back and forth match. The Ref gets knocked out and Deaton tries to hit Sugar with his bull rope but Sugar kicks him, grabs the bull rope and levels him with it! The Ref crawls over and counts 1..2..3! Young hits the ring and nails Sugar but Norvell quickly hits the ring! The Express double clothesline Young with the bull rope as the fans cheer. Central States Title Bout "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater (C) vs. Dr. Dream Machine This match never officially begins as they fight everywhere but inside the ring. 10-Man Tag Carlos Colon, Siva Afi, Rip Oliver, Hercules Ayala and Porkchop Cash vs. Tiger Jeet Singh, Tui Selinga, Ripper Morgan, Gerry Morrow and Tommy Rich w/ Johnny Rich This match goes over 50 minutes and everybody gets a chance to shine. The Ref really earns his money tonight as chaos breaks out several times. In the end it's pandemonium! Colon and Singh are both busted open and going at it! Tui is on the outside when Siva literally leaps over the top rope and dives on him! Ayala and Morgan are slugging away on each other! Cash and Morrow are fighting up the aisle. Rip Oliver is beating down on Tommy Rich's bloody head! Johnny Rich pulls out a pair of brass knuckles, climbs to the top rope and hits Oliver on the back of the head! Johnny yells at the Ref. The Ref runs over and counts 1..2..3! Heels win but the fight is far from over as the fans get another 10 minutes of chaotic brawling!

Waylon is devastating with that DDT. Wild 6 man tag with all sorts of chaos! Oh man if Terry Taylor has hooked up with Hart that's big trouble for Hot Stuff Inc. LOL The War of the Roses! Nice. Hayes tried hard but Steamboat gets passed him as he gets ready for Gordy. Speaking of Gordy, he uses Gilbert's move and adds in a piledriver to retain. Man, Gordy has been a dominating champ. Hart Foundation get the win but British Steel gets a lot of respect. Love the father/son team of Kabuki and Angel. They score a big win over rivals Hito and Adams. The Freebirds/Southern Boys story is really heating up. Vice Squad gets in a hard fought win over Wiskowski and the Pound. Busick is really getting over big with the fans. That Thundercats/Guerreros match stole the show. Starr really gave Red a run for his money but the TV champ prevails. I really liked this week's match ups.

Commercial Break "Champagne" Gerry Morrow vs. Frank Miles Morrow easily wins the match with the Sleeper. The fans boo as Morrow heads to the podium with a bottle of champagne and a glass. Morrow: Just one moment Lance. Morrow pours himself some champagne. Morrow: A toast, to yet another victory. Ahhhhhh yes. While Morrow drinks, footage is shown of Morrow smashing his bottle of champagne over Porkchop Cash's head! Lance: What you did to Porkchop Cash last week was absolutely despicable. Morrow: I poured the man a glass of champagne and offered a toast but what does he do? He pours it on the ground. What he did was despicable. I did what I needed to do and like I've said before I'm not going to sweat the small stuff and Mr. Cash is not worth my time. Now if you'll excuse me I have finer things to do with my time. Now at Star Wars we already know Tui Selinga will face Siva Afi. I've been told that Ripper Morgan will clash with Hercules Ayala. A lot of bad blood there. Kai: Next week Tui Selinga will be here and you'll hear what he has to say about that monkey Afi. As for Ayala, there can only be one man at the top of the mountain and that man is Ripper Morgan. You can all watch when Ripper tosses Ayala down that mountain and into oblivion. Steve gets on the apron, Ben nails him with a forearm blast, grabs him and suplexes him back in the ring. Ben hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Ben swings Steve to the ropes and back drops him then swings off the ropes and hits a jumping elbow drop 1..2..Steve gets his foot on the rope. Ben body slams Steve then hops on the middle ropes and comes down with a forearm drop 1..2..Steve barely gets his shoulder up. Ben picks him up, swings him to the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Steve ducks, swings back and hits a crossbody press 1..(Grabs the tights)..2..3! Steve quickly rolls out of the ring while Ben is telling the Ref he was holding his tights. Lance: Ok, here he comes. Steve if your suppose to be some kind of superhero then why did you resort to that cheap tactic to win the match? Steve: That Electrifying Man is a true villain. You saw all the cheating he was doing. He's a bad person and Super Steve O had to defeat him because in the end the hero always wins. Commercial Break "The Japanese Fury" Yoshiaki Yatsu vs. Roy Glader As Yatsu is wrestling, Les Thornton is circling the ring scouting. Yatsu finishes the match with an impressive sit out powerbomb for the win! Les Thornton and the TV champ Tony St. Clair join Lance at the podium. Lance: Les, your man Tony St. Clair and Yoshiaki Yatsu have been battling to several 10 minute draws. I've been told that at Star Wars, Tony will defend his TV title against Yatsu in a no time limit match. Les: Mr. Russell, that is right up Tony's ally. One of the many reasons he's simply the best is because he's just getting warmed up at the 10 minute mark. Mr. Yatsu is a tremendous wrestler but Tony St. Clair is in a league all by himself. At Star Wars there will be one guarantee and that is Tony St. Clair will remain TV champion. Tony: (taps on his TV title) I couldn't of said it better myself. They swing Gama to the ropes and double back drop him. Makhan runs in and American Made knock him back with a double forearm blast. The Ref guides Kernodle back. Kirchner picks up Gama but Makhan nails Kirchner from behind. Gama rolls over and tags in Makhan. Makhan works over Kirchner. Makhan slams him down and follows with a knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Makhan swings Kirchner to the corner and follows with a running clothesline then tags in Gama. Makhan chokes Kirchner while Gama kicks away. Kernodle runs over but the Ref guides him back. Makhan continues to choke Kirchner while Gama hammers away. Gama grabs Kirchner by his hair and throws him over then follows with a running neck snap. Gama runs over and slaps Kernodle. Kernodle runs in but the Ref guides him back. Makhan runs in, they swing Kirchner to the ropes but miss a double clothesline, Kirchner swings back and clotheslines them both! Kirchner dives over and tags in Kernodle. Kernodle hammers away on Karachi Vice. He knocks Makhan through the ropes. He body slams Gama then hops on the middle ropes. Gama rises and Kernodle nails him with a double axehandle to the head. Kernodle hoists up Gama and executes a fireman's carry slam 1..2..Makhan drops a knee on Kernodle. Kirchner runs in and pounds away on Makhan. Kirchner swings Makhan to the ropes and nails him with a boot to the mid section then follows with a knee lift. Gama sneaks up and nails Kirchner with a lowblow then hurls him out of the ring. Kernodle gets up, grabs Gama from behind and hits a back suplex 1..2..Makhan breaks it. Makhan picks up Kernodle and powerslams him over. The Ref guides Makhan back. Makhan jumps off the apron, grabs Kirchner and slams him into the steel post! He's wearing blue trunks (logo on the back) and red boots. Pure showcase as Steve wins the match with a crossbody press. "Diamond" Timothy Flowers vs. Sunny War Cloud After a few minutes both wrestlers fight through the ropes. Sunny rolls into the ring just as the Ref counts to 10. A frustrated Flowers sees the Ref raise Sunny's arm and throws a fit. The Sweet Ebony Express vs. The Lone Stars Another hard hitting and wild match between these teams. During a pier six brawl, the Ref guides Sugar to his corner which allows Deaton to clothesline Norvell from behind. The Ref turns around as Young covers 1..2..3! TV Title Bout Tony "Simply the Best" St. Clair (C) w/Les Thornton vs. "The Japanese Fury" Yoshiaki Yatsu Great technical match that ended in a 10 minute draw. St. Clair remains TV champ. The Grapplers vs. The Medics Leilani Kai is booked elsewhere so the Medics are on their own. These guys put in a solid 20 minutes. The finish sees the Grapplers give the Medics a taste of their own medicine as Grappler 1 put a foreign object in his mask and headbutts Medic 2 for the pin! Central States 6-Man Title Bout The Elite (C) w/Arnold Skaaland vs. The Technicians and Duke Myers Back and forth match that gives everybody a chance to shine. Chaos breaks out as Roop and Hart battle in the corner. Rheingans and Sammartino fight to the outside. Skaaland is distracting the Ref. Myers has Gagne up for a vertical suplex but TIMOTHY FLOWERS runs in the ring and clips Myer's behind the knee! Flowers quickly exits as Gagne falls on Myers. Skaaland yells at the Ref to turn around. The Ref turns around and counts 1..2..3! The Elite retain the 6-man titles! Central States Title Bout "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater (C) vs. Dr. Dream Machine These two give the fans one heck of a fight! Slater is bleeding but that just seems to make him fight harder. Both men have a heated exchange. The Ref tries to break them up but they both push the Ref down. The Ref calls for a DOUBLE DQ. The bell is ringing but these guys continue to fight. They fight all over the place for another few minutes until officials and security have to break them up. Dick Slater remains Central States Champ. After the match he gets the mic and says the USWA still owes him a title shot. 2 out of 3 falls match The Rock n Roll RPMS vs. The Fabulous Blondes RPMs won fall 1 with their Spandex Split finisher on Donovan Fabulous Blondes won fall 2 with a double hot shot on Lane Fall 3 ended in a draw "The Electrifying" Ben Bassarab vs. Masanobu Fuchi Fuchi makes his USWA debut here. Very fast paced and clean match that ends when Bassarab hits a flying press from the top rope but Fuchi carry's the momentum over for the pin! Afterwards the fans cheered as both men shook hands. Hercules Ayala/ "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi / Porkchop Cash vs. "The Tidal Wave" Tui Selinga/"The Real Thing" Ripper Morgan/ "Champagne" Gerry Morrow w/Leilani Kai A lot of hate in this match and it shows. The match is crazy and chaotic! At the end everybody is in the ring fighting when Siva fly's off the top rope and hits a flying press on Tui for the 1..2..3! "Crippler" Rip Oliver vs. Tommy "Wildfire" Rich w/"The Memphis Mafia Man" Johnny Rich Within minutes both men are bleeding. Oliver hoists Tommy up on the turnbuckles. Oliver hops up and pounds away on Tommy's bloody head. Oliver goes for the superplex but Johnny runs over and grabs Oliver's leg. Tommy crashes down on Oliver. The Ref counts while Johnny holds Oliver's leg 1..2..3! USWA Tag Team Title Bout Karachi Vice (C) vs. American Made After 25 minutes of solid action the Ref gets knocked out. Both teams continue to fight. Kirchner and Kernodle double clothesline Gama over the top rope. They turn around and take it to Makhan. They swing him to the ropes and double back drop him. Kirchner follows with a standing leg drop. Gama hits the ring with a chair and levels Kernodle across his back! Kirchner kicks Gama, takes the chair and blasts him over the head and covers. Another Ref runs to the ring and counts 1..2..3! The fans go crazy! Kirchner goes to help his partner. The Ref gets the titles. The original Ref runs over and is shaking his head NO. The announcer gets with both Refs. It's announced that the original Ref saw Gama use the chair first therefore Karachi Vice is DQed! The fans are booing. Kirchner helps up Kernodle and they both are clearly angry and disappointed. Karachi Vice remain tag team champs. Terry Funk vs. Carlos Colon Funk immediately gets on the mic and berates Jerry Lawler. He calls Lawler a gutless pig and a lot of other names. The boos are thundering but turn to a roaring cheer when Colon hits the ring with fists flying! The fans are going wild as Colon knocks Funk through the ropes. Funk walks around on the outside and just falls down. The match hasn't even officially started. Colon goes out after him. Massive boos as TIGER JEET SINGH runs out and attacks Colon! Singh rams Colon into the steel post! Funk staggers up, walks over and puts the boots to Colon. Singh starts choking Colon with his sword while Funk gets his branding iron then starts hitting Colon with it. The crowd erupts as HERCULES AYALA runs out and knocks Singh and Funk down! Ayala pumps his fists but is nailed from behind by RIPPER MORGAN and his chain! SIVA AFI runs out but TUI SELINGA is right behind him and they fight up and down the aisle! Officials must have told the wrestlers in the back what was going on and needed help but it only added to the chaos because RIP OLIVER and the RICH cousins joined in the fighting along with PORKCHOP CASH and GERRY MORROW! There was fighting going on everywhere!

Lance: Hello again wrestling fans and welcome to another edition of USWA wrestling here on the USA network. Big show lined up as Jerry Lawler will defend the USWA title against Vinnie Valentino. Central States 6 Man champs, The Elite will be in action. Leilani Kai will be here with her newest acquisition, Ripper Morgan. Siva Afi is back in action. The Grapplers will be in the ring as well as the Central States Champ Dick Slater. Fans as I mentioned last week, the USWA's next big event will be the Labor Day Star Wars on September 5th. The first match has been signed and it will be Carlos Colon going one on one with Tiger Jeet Singh! That will be an incredible night of action. Fans. let's get to tonight's action. "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly vs. William Hillman Kelly beats his opponent down then gets a lot of boos as he spends a good amount of time flexing. Kelly clamps on the full nelson and it's all over. Kelly keeps it applied then swings his opponent around and tosses him as the fans boo. Kelly cuts a promo and says he looks forward to beating up DJ Peterson again. He ends the promo with a double bicep pose. Commercial Break Duke Myers vs. Vic Dutro The fans have taking quite a liking to Myers because he keeps on beating Timothy Flowers. Myers swings Dutro to the ropes and puts him down with a back elbow smash. Myers hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a knee drop for the pin. Myers heads for the podium. The fans cheer as Myers is joined by The Technicians, Bob Roop and Brad Rheingans. Lance: Big news for the three of you as you get an upcoming 6 man title shot against The Elite. Duke I bet this is a nice break from one Timothy Flowers. Duke: Yes it is. I'm done with Flowers and it's time to focus on some gold. I'm looking forward to teaming with two of the best wrestlers this business has to offer. Commercial Break The Grapplers vs. Sam Smith and Dave Penson Pure squash ends as Grappler 1 hoists Penson up and Grappler 2 just about decapitates him with a clothesline from the middle rope! Grapplers head to the podium. Grappler 1: So Leilani Kai and the Medics want to fight dirty? Hey fine by us because we wrote the book on that! Lance: I hate to mention this but people say you guys have lost a bit of focus because you've been calling out the Road Warriors. Is there any truth to that? Grappler 2: We've proven why we're the best team in wrestling. We're the only team to hold both the USWA and Central States tag titles at the same time! Grappler 1: We are the best! The Road Warriors got a fluke win at the Crockett Cup and we want it back. That doesn't mean we've lost focus and the Medics are going to find that out real soon! Commercial Break "The Polynesian Prince" Siva Afi vs. Mark Reynolds Siva's first match since that vicious assault by Tui Selinga a few weeks back. Siva looks sharp tonight as he dropkicks Reynolds down then body slams him. The fans cheer as Siva climbs to the top rope and crashes down with a big splash 1..2..3! Siva: Tui made a big mistake and on Labor day he's going to pay dearly. Commercial Break The Lone Stars vs. Gary Williams and Willie Lopez The Lone Stars head to the ring. WHAM!!! They're jumped from behind by the Sweet Ebony Express! The fans are up and cheering as the Express take it to the Lone Stars! Norvell body slams Deaton on the concrete! Sugar swings Young into the steel post! The Express pick up the bull rope. Deaton staggers up and the Express clothesline him down with the bull rope! The fans are cheering as the sweet Ebony Express stand tall holding up the bull rope! Commercial Break Lance: Oh my that was something else as the Sweet Ebony Express give the Lone Stars some sweet payback. My guest at this time is Steve Olsonoski. Steve, you left myself, Mike George and all the fans a bit puzzled last week. Would you care to elaborate? Steve: (Very calm and monotone) It's all very simple Lance. After my miraculous healing from that broken arm I realized who I am and my purpose in wrestling. The USWA needs a true and blue superhero and I'm just the right man for the job. Right now you're talking with Steve Olsonoski but in that ring I'm Super Steve O. And Super Steve O is going to rid the USWA of all the bad guys and villain's. Let me run them down for you. The Japanese Fury, Sunny War Cloud, Duke Myers. Those names are scary and they're very bad people and must be stopped. The first name on my list is the Electrifying Ben Bassarab. Lance: (pauses) I..ok, ah we'll be right back Commercial Break "The Real Thing" Ripper Morgan w/Leilani Kai vs. Todd Rooney Kai is holding Ripper back with a chain around his neck. The bell rings and Kai unhooks the chain. Ripper just destroys his opponent and finishes him off by swinging him to the ropes and putting him down with a big boot to the head! Kai shouts something at Ripper. Ripper presses Rooney up and throws him over the top rope! Kai hooks the chain back around Ripper's neck and pulls him to the podium. Lance looks a bit nervous as Ripper stomps and yells while Kai yanks on the chain. While this is going on footage is shown from a house show as Ripper storms the ring and attacks Hercules Ayala and sends him out of the ring with a big boot! Lance: (eyeing Ripper) Just why has this man targeted Hercules Ayala? Kai: Just relax Lance, (pulls on the chain) I'm the only one who can control this beast. However when I release the chain there is no controlling him. I'm here to show why Ripper Morgan is the real thing. He stands alone at the top of the mountain. Everybody told me that Hercules Ayala is the toughest man in the USWA. Not anymore! Ayala I believe you're a smart man so listen carefully to this warning. When I release the Real Thing on you there is no turning back. Ripper stomps and yells as Kai pulls him away. Lance seems relieved. Commercial Break Central States 6 Man Champs The Elite w/Arnold Skaaland are at the podium with Lance. Arnold is in a cheap suit holding his towel while the Elite are wearing matching sweat suits. Lance: Alright, just what is going on? Your men have a match scheduled. Skaaland: Not today Lance. My men are champions and they wrestle on their watch. Gagne: Arnold is correct. We have a title defense coming up with that goof Dookie Myers and that bottom of the heap tag team. What's their names again? Hart: I don't know. They claim to be real wrestlers but they're not elite. Sammartino: Not even close. These titles prove that we're the best unit in wrestling. Skaaland: You see Lance, my boys are more than ready so they deserve the night off. The Elite walk out to boos. Lance: Oh brother they're something else. I'm sure Jerry Jarrett will have something to say about this. A montage video is shown of the Carlos Colon/Tiger Jeet Singh rivalry. Those two will meet at the Labor Day Star Wars event! Commercial Break Central States Champ "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater vs. Carl Romer Slater is all over Romer and quickly finishes him off with a swinging neckbreaker! The fans cheer as Slater holds up the Central States title and heads to the podium. Lance: Dick, you heard the challenge made by Dr. Dream Machine. Dick: Oh yea I heard it alright and I have no problem beating him from one side of the ring to the other! (holds up his fist) I'm going to inflict some serious pain on him! It's a damn good thing he's a Doctor because when I get through with him he's going to need a lot of medical attention! Commercial Break The camera zooms in on the pink "Beauty Shop" sign then pans down to Brenda Britton. Brenda: Hi everybody and welcome once again to the highest rated segment on TV, the Beauty Shop. This week's guest is a far cry from the classy guests I had on last week. I mean Les Thornton and the TV champ Tony St. Clair are just so classy. Well anyways my guest this week is the Crippler Rip Oliver. Cheers as Oliver comes out. Oliver smirks at Brenda. Brenda: Ah ok, so why do they call you the Crippler? Oliver: I've been in a lot of fights and I've hurt a lot of people. That's why! Brenda: Whoa take it easy. It seems you've gotten on the wrong side of Wildfire Tommy Rich and his bodyguard, the Memphis Mafia Man Johnny Rich. I don't think you can hurt them. Oliver: Oh right, Tommy is so tough he needs a bodyguard. That don't matter because if his goon wants to get involved I'll put him down along with his yellow cousin! Commercial Break American Made vs. Trent Watkins and Royce Jones Kirchner hits the Fallaway Slam on Watkins then tags in Kernodle. Kernodle finishes the match with a fireman's carry slam! Cheers as American Made heads to the podium. Lance: You guys have really been giving the champs Karachi Vice some tough matches and there's yet to be a decisive winner. Boos as Karachi Vice head out. Gama: Just one second! We are the champs and this should be our time! Makhan: We've destroyed these patriotic flag waving morons and there's no reason why we should have to do it again! Kirchner: It sounds to me like you boys are a bit scared. Gama: We are scared of nothing! Kernodle: Ok, then how about we settle this once and for all, next week here on TV! Gama: You want another severe beating! Is that what you want? Consider it done! Lance: Ok, looks like we have a big USWA tag team title match for next week's show. Should be a great one. Fans our big USWA title match is next! Commercial Break Lance is suddenly joined by Vinnie Valentino and his entourage of beautiful ladies. USWA Title Bout Jerry "The King" Lawler (C) vs. "The Vin Man" Vinnie Valentino Mega pop as Lawler enters the ring. Vinnie waves Lawler back then gives each of the woman a peck on the cheek. They applaud him then step out to the outside. The bell rings but Vinnie is showboating in front of his ladies. Vinnie smiles then turns around. Lawler clotheslines him over the top rope!! The woman all run to Vinnie and try to help him up. The fans are cheering as Lawler smiles and blows kisses to all the woman. WHAM!!!!!! Lance: Oh my goodness that's The fans are shocked as Terry Funk puts the boots to Lawler! Funk is yelling at Lawler and calling him a pig! Funk stomps on Lawler then hoists him up and piledrives him down! Funk hoists Lawler up again and piledrives him down! Funk piledrives Lawler a third time! All the woman escort Vinnie to the back. Funk gets his branding iron and sticks it on Lawler's chest and pushes it down! Prelim wrestlers and officials run in as Funk slides under the ropes and heads to the podium. Lance: I can't believe this... Funk: (snatches the mic) You better believe it! Did you miss me Lance? I sure as hell didn't miss you. I sure as hell didn't miss that jackass Lawler! Hey Lawler! You jackass! Did you think I would forget about you? You have something that belongs to me. That USWA title! And I'm here to take it back! Boos as Funk throws the mic at Lance then yells at the booing fans. Lance: I can't believe my eyes. Terry Funk is back and Jerry Lawler is laid out in the ring. Fans, I'll see you next week.
