Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Could they not theoretically all join SAG? I believe some of the disclaimers on the WWE network describe them as actors.

What do you want them to be doing differently?

Also, the Cabana vs Archer match was like 8 minutes so how anyone is getting that it took Archer 20 minutes to put him away. Unless for some mysterious reason we're counting the two video packages beforehand as being part of the match.

There won't be crowds in July.

He's a Cody friend and he's part of the skeleton crew they could get to the tapings. It's not like he was all over television when there were crowds.

Another example for the 'just let them be themselves' argument haha

It's hard to work out whether he's a Prichard-type knowing stooge or just an absolute dullard

In times of unprecedented turbulence, at least we can still count on Seth Rollins being the biggest fucking geek alive.

There's no logic for the cruiserweight thing beyond that it'll fill up a few hours of content. It could be fun though. But I wouldn't have bothered putting Maverick in it unless nobody else was available.

It depends whether he thinks Vince can slap on time at the end of the contract for time missed if he pulls out now.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I know a few of us have said that WWE/wrestling = Vince to outsiders in the corporate world but Dave has mentioned quite a few times recently that stockholders and analysts have been losing faith in him a lot over the last few months. It could take a while but I don't think the 'Vince is a genius' stuff is really going to last.

Unless they sell up to a conglomerate with the proviso that the McMahon's have a seat at the table/HHH gets to run wrestling operations. Although I agree that the perception you mentioned is how the outside world thinks, it seems increasingly clear that Vince is the biggest impediment to WWE nowadays. However, the structures that he has created around himself and the patterns they've gotten themselves into would take a long time to sweep away even if he was gone and someone else was put in charge.

Nia Jax has a fucking cheek to complain about someone else being rough or sloppy in the ring if this comment is legit.

Juice Robinson was a young boy for two years before New Japan pushed him though, was he not? I can understand The Revival not wanting to go down that route. I would love to see Revival vs Dustin & QT in a 15 minute TV match.

Exactly. It's not on the talent that Vince has absolutely no idea how to make stars and make the best out of his acts anymore. Besides, most of these guys signed when there was kinda no other game in town. Now there's another national TV promotion and New Japan expanding their business in the West both in need of drawing acts.

They're malcontents for wanting to leave the company that used them terribly to go somewhere that will likely use them better and for being deflated about having a hot run in developmental being squandered when they got called up? Maybe more people in there ought to be malcontents instead of just being marks for the brand.

Jericho isn't great in the ring any more (still decent though) but I feel like he does a way better job of getting his opponent over than Michaels for the most part. His promos are on another level from Shawn too. Having rewatched Bret vs Owen at Mania recently, I'm also firmly on the Bret > Shawn train having not really cared either way before.

Just saw a brief leaked clip from Gargano vs Ciampa tonight and if it's reflective of the whole match, Shawn Michaels should be in prison
