It depends where they're going afterwards though. A strong heel Orton vs WWE Champion Kofi would be a good throwback to their feud from ten years ago so they might be tempted to put Orton over leading into that.

It's fair to say that Braun should be a limited use special attraction type. But you need to shine him up really good so that he's a made man before you can transition him into that sort of character imo. They teased him being around the title for so long without ever pulling the trigger that he just looks like someone you can't buy as the top guy. All they needed to do was give him his big win over Brock, run him with the title for four or five months and then he's a made guy. As it stands, he was on the bubble for too long without ever getting over the line that anything he does feels like a disappointment because that promise was never fulfilled. That being said, although he was a victim of circumstance in some ways, I feel like he was salvageable right up until about autumn 2018 when he unnecessarily turned heel and back in a few weeks and then jobbed out to Brock in the Saudi show. He needs to go to Smackdown and go back to being a monster heel after Mania if they're really considering doing anything with him. Him bullying Rey, Jeff, Ali, AJ and Kofi could revitalise the act.

Yeah, he's way better with Gonzalez than with Alvarez. It's amazing that Dave and Bryan have been recording together for so long and still have absolutely no chemistry.

Sometimes Dave and co don't really help themselves with overcriticism of really minor and stupid stuff. Like Randy Orton saying inaccurate things about independent wrestling on Smackdown or whatever. He's meant to be a condescending prick heel who's trying to belittle AJ, not giving a factual assessment. Nah, Bryan is just an idiot. Kofi objectively wasn't cooled off by that booking, whether it was the best way to do it or not. So it made it look like he was grasping for the worst case scenario in the booking so he'd have something to be mad at.

I've no idea why Kofi couldn't just win the title at Fastlane and get himself a big superstar entrance at Mania as his golden watch and then lost it back to Bryan on the night. Simple stuff.

But weird to do two choreography matches one after another but Rey still astounds me with how amazing he is

This is such a PWO thing but my biggest issue with Kofi as the underdog is that his strikes aren't good enough

With the Smackdown to Fox thing coming soon, they might switch some bigger names like Roman over to there in the coming months. Especially if Becky is going to win the Raw women's title and presumably be on Mondays from now on. So I can definitely see that feud happening down the line. Maybe Roman vs Bryan can be the Summerslam programme to conclude this Bryan title run. I think Dave would be the kind of guy to turn down a Saudi match. In fact, I kind of imagine that this Mania thing could be his last match because he always talked about wanting to retire against HHH at Mania.

It's very rare that I don't just catch the key segments on Youtube these days. Even without the bad formatting etc., the time difference would just make it a huge chore for me. But Cornette's analysis of Raw the last two weeks has been super interesting imo. He points out lots of little formatting things that seem so obvious and basic that you don't even think about them but are completely upside down in WWE programming.

That list of attendees is quite something. Apparently Charles Barkley, Migos and all other sorts of random celebrities are backstage too. I hope Ric turns on Sting for old times sake before they shoot the Becky angle.
