WWE TV 4/16-4/22, it's getting drafty in here...
Jeff Hardy vs Jinder Mahal. What an odd match.

This would be amazing. Nikki has to be the only person on Earth who is surprised by their break-up, I'd love for her to dish the dirt on the inside story there some day cause it all seems very strange. Well this kinda preempts Rollins going to Smackdown tomorrow

Greatest Royal Rumble?
They really are enjoying fucking with fans these days with all this backstage bs

Greatest Royal Rumble?
Most Disgusting Promotional Tactic is running this show in the first place

Greatest Royal Rumble?
Ok. I know I sound like a broken record but. Why the FUCK aren't these two a top main event act TODAY ? Seriously, this is ridiculous. They have everything a pro-wrestling promotion would want from a top main event act. He looked more like a star getting out of his irl expensive car with his irl hot wife than hes ever been presented on TV.

Greatest Royal Rumble?
EDIT: Lol, the account I saw that on had 12 followers so I'm assuming The Rock thing is fake

Greatest Royal Rumble?
Seems like pretty standard promo material, nothing outrageous. Lana/CJ even dodged the question of women not being allowed on the card too.

Greatest Royal Rumble?
Jericho is on course for having one of the strangest years in wrestling in quite a while lol.

Greatest Royal Rumble?
This show is absolutely ludicrous

Post-Mania WWE TV (04/09 - 04/15)
What is all of this based on other than extrapolating your own distaste for her streak onto the entire fan base?

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
I think that it’s closer to right than it is to wrong. Wasn’t the Rey vid the biggest one after the Rumble? By a mile. IIRC old clips of his matches tend to do really well compared to other guys.

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
I find the YouTube number stuff quite fascinating in terms of how we can read into it for who fans are most interested in and what demographic it reaches. The Lesnar vs Reigns feud dwarfed everything else in the Mania build-up but the match itself was shit on. Does that tell us that casuals watch YouTube and they want to see those two but the hardcores who are in the building don't? Or is that too simplistic?

Post-Mania WWE TV (04/09 - 04/15)
If they're ripping off Austin/Vince they could do a nice mixture of that and Big Show appearing in the cage for the big reveal.

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
What are the actual example examples?

Asuka being off TV this week is interesting to me. I think they should almost redebut her - squashing jobbers and choking them out post-match, then move her up to active roster members. Emphasise her new attitude and put her over as a heel. Then have her as Stephanie's final boss against Ronda once you've rehabbed her aura a bit.

The Usos
In fairness, I think both Bar vs Rollins/Ambrose PPV matches had a pretty conventional heel heat-hot tag structure before going into the extended finishing stretch.

Big Show, Mark Henry and Undertaker say otherwise

The Usos
They definitely are a team that, in their current role, prioritise EXCITEMENT. However, they've essentially transitioned to being babyfaces so the recent matches with the New Day are more like face vs face matches. That, and the limitations of TV time, are probably decent explanations for why they work these matches as they do. The more high end stuff from last year had more lip service paid to the traditional structure - there was definitely a heat section and hot tag in the Summerslam match with New Day. They also worked that way to a high level in their previous babyface incarnation against Harper/Rowan and Reigns/Rollins. I'd expect them to do so again when they wrestle Harper/Rowan again in Saudi Arabia in a couple of weeks. This may be an odd excuse to make for them but the only feud they had in between the current New Day stuff was the Benjamin/Gable one where the face/heel dynamic seemed to be poorly established by the booking. And the opponents weren't that over. So one can understand in that scenario why they would go for the extended finishing sequences in order to ensure that the matches actually get over. I understand the criticism though, but I'm not sure it's something I particularly mind?

Co-sign everyone else who likes Renee. If they move Miz over to Smackdown next week then they have six months of hot programmes good to go with him, Bryan, Nak and AJ.

Carmella's work still isn't much but she's great as a character

This women's division on Smackdown is stacked as hell with heels with the Riott Squad there too.
