Post-Mania WWE TV (04/09 - 04/15)
What pimped Lashley matches/angles from TNA would people recommend as a primer on where he is as a performer nowadays? From what I've heard/the little I've seen he's got pretty good.

Greatest Royal Rumble?
As well as the practically see-through white trunks

he's been booked predominantly terribly for three years so I don't see why it'll change now

Nia has gotten really good. Enjoyed how she was interacting with the crowd there. Still not entirely sure what Ember is supposed to be though.

All these years of searching for The Guy are over. Its Ronda.

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
That he never fucking wins.

Wrestlemania 34
HHH going in the middle of the last two Manias to make sure he gets on before the crowd is burned out is quite a thing. He's still the Game lol

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
How little interest can Brock give without getting money thrown at him? I mean there is no chance that he can give less fucks than he did the last 9 months or so. I mean good for him, but seriously, continuing having Lesnar on top could damage the company longterm. At this point he's almost at Shawn Michaels level of playing Vince

[2018-04-08-WWE-Wrestlemania XXXIV] Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey vs HHH & Stephanie McMahon
Ronda squaring up to HHH was electric. The crowd was absolutely on fire for that and it was probably the single biggest highlight of the show. All-time great debut performance from Rousey - her moves, her presence, expressions and even the way she threw herself into the post with full commitment. Kurt looks like shit and should never be in a match again but even that didn't detract from the sheer spectacle that this was. Stephanie was incredible in this. She's possibly the best McMahon in-ring tbh, even if the arm bar blocking stretched credibility. But it's pro-wrestling. This was everything that Wrestlemania is supposed to be. A million stars.

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
Same, I'm gonna feel huge guilt for watching it but I will do out of morbid fascination. Wtf were they thinking having Reigns squashed to set him up for a second shot? Should've gone half way into the show, lasted under ten minutes and been called off on a blood stoppage if this was always the route they were going. Send Cena and Taker out last.

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
I mean, it makes sense considering the amount of money they probably got paid for that show. They shouldve done last nights match way different then.

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
Lol theyve announced that Brock has re-signed and is defending against Roman in a cage in Saudi Arabia. Absurd to tank the Mania main event for a Wahabbist propaganda show. Shouldve done the Mania match half way through the show and had a blood stoppage.

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
Seems like there was some situation wth Brock and Vince backstage last night. And Sika seemed to be saying something or other to Reigns after the match. Maybe they actually called an audible.

She really needs to be working house shows. Pair her with someone like Mickie or Nattie and just do the loop. I dont know if theyre better off having her on house shows to learn or just laying her matches out super meticulously and practising them for the PPVs

Wrestlemania 34
In terms of booking Ronda, I think they should restrict her to some degree. Not as much as Brock but probably make her only work PPVs. Maybe do more mixed tags to save her from burning through opponents. You can run with Stephanie bringing in opponents for her for a few months - Shayna etc. before putting her over Jax at Summerslam. If I were them Id consider turning Becky and put her on a Pentagon-style arm breaking spree (even if it has to be against jobbers for a bit) to build to the obvious confrontation there. Sasha would be a big PPV match as well, especially if she aligns herself with Stephanie to carry the promos. I think you could do a match with Nikki Bella too actually.

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
Yeah, all time terrible booking imo. All they had to do was give him the title in 2015 or not pop him for Adderal in 2016 to keep his run going. He might be historically unlucky coming right after the Bryan thing and being caught up in that shit-storm. Also, if he'd come along even two or three years later he'd have got an NXT run to smark-wash him so people don't have to pretend he's a bad worker for the sake of their narratives. smark wash? Make him acceptable to the sections of the crowd who think you can only be a good worker if youve been in ROH or New Japan

Thinking back on that show after the fact, there really were a lot of bad/questionable booking decisions

Hogan won less than 73% of his matches?

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
I don't think even that will work on its own. Last night was tantamount to a burial. Tbh I thought that was the long term end game. Resolute the Lesnar/Reigns thing that's been hanging over them for a couple of years, do a proper Reigns title run for once then put the belt on Braun in 9-12 months.

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
He's the least well pushed top star of all time. He jobs endlessly. The build-up to this match was Brock kicking his ass every week then beating him clean at Mania. I can't think of another WWE wrestler in history put in a position to fail as many times as Roman Reigns. I actually feel bad for the guy cause he's a great worker, his promos have improved so much, he's got great physical charisma in the ring and seems charming outside of it and a mixture of woeful, indecisive booking and mostly inaccurate fan narratives have probably torpedoed him as a top star now when all they had to do was put the fucking belt on him after the first Lesnar match three years ago and have done with it.

Imagine still pretending hes not over in 2018

Roman Reigns as the ace post-Wrestlemania
Can I get the title on this changed to Roman Reigns as the worst booked wrestler ever?

Wrestlemania 34
Can you imagine how much better everyones lives would be if they just didnt do that fucking Rollins cash in three years ago?
