I think the message board thing is less relevant than ever (exception to PWO of course) because most people are on Facebook and Twitter nowadays. So even if someone likes the WWE Facebook page or follows along with their hashtags (as is pushed on TV) then they'll be exposed to a lot of different stuff that 'casual' fans of the past wouldn't have. To me casual fan used to be synonymous with fans who weren't online but now that everyone is then even the most casual watcher can easily be exposed to 'internet wrestling culture' or however anyone wants to categorise that. It's a whole different ball game.

Since he came in as part of The Shield in 2012 no one has had the same quantity of good to great matches. That's five years of good matches in TV almost every week (bar the odd awkward performance at the start of his singles run). The guy is an excellent tag worker, can work hard hitting brawls, work underneath with great selling performances or come across as a destructive monster (something they should have him do more.) By the end of his career his sheer volume of good matches could be at Rey Mysterious levels and if he'd have done a couple of years on the indies or New Japan then the people who hate him would have basically canonised the guy.

If that is the case and Mauro leaves, hopefully he issues a harassment suit

Nakamura on real WWE TV in a program with the freaking Miz is beyond surreal I didn't know that Dillinger was on the "list" of people being called up after WM. I wonder if he is replacing the Drifter Yeah, imagine telling someone 18 months ago that Shinsuke Nakamura and Miz would be in a feud Imagine telling them there's a real case Miz had a better last 12 months then Nak did. That's what happens when you're dogging it against washed up ex-TNA guys I guess. Although Miz has been friggin incredible for 12 months and more so not to undersell that. He made people care about Ziggler in 2016, which is miraculous.

Nakamura in theory has enough great potential matches lined up to have a hell of a run. Miz, Harper, AJ, Sheamus, Cesaro, Reigns and Lesnar spring to mind.

Tye Dillinger was a guy who kinda hung around in FCW/NXT for a long while. He's not young, and even debuted in WWE all the way back in the ECW days, didn't do crap, got released, re-signed, etc. After his team with Jason Jordan went nowhere leading to Jordan forming the Gable team. As a means of kinda turning Dillinger into a "Jobber to the Stars" they gave him the "Perfect 10" gimmick, which has blown up much more then anyone could have expected, partly because of the chants, and partly because people knew Dillinger wasn't planned to go anywhere and they wanted to give him his due. The chants have kinda taken a life of their own, but they are based off Dillinger. I feel like the chants are annoying but fair play to the guy for getting over and having a shot that he probably never thought he would.

Strong women's match. Alexa is sometimes shakey still but she's getting more and more comfortable in the ring. When did Naomi get so good though?! Excited to see what Charlotte can do with her if the draft goes as some are predicting.

Heat for the feud has been dying off in the last few weeks too imo. The spooky stuff and the senselessness of it all collapsed under its own weight. So a House Of Horrors match should be fun
