  1. This is totally bizarre. What is Flair talking about high fiving Michael Jackson? This stinks. This is when WCW starts falling from the great start they had earlier in the year.
  2. Hmm, this is some kind of juxtaposition between the Memphis angle. Kind of bummed Rocky King was just being used to get JYD over, I would have preferred to see him involved somehow.
  3. To echo PeteF, this is the best studio brawl I've ever seen and it doesn't look for a second like they're working.
  4. Wow this is better than the previous segment. It feels very tense and I'm not quite sure what each guy is going to say next and honestly Eddie Marlin feels like the real heel here.
  5. This kind of reminds me of the lyrics to Symptom of the Universe
  6. Really glad they showed Rude Climbing the rope, that's what I was hoping for the whole time.
  7. Kabuki and co continuing to wrestle around the pull a parts in the middle is such an awesome touch, I thought that was so great. This is a pretty emotional match, seeing this as the start everything that carries the company through the decade. Just a great dynamic of old veterans vs youngsters. You can really feel the youth and speed starting to get the best of the veterans, but they respond with punishing offense to keep them in line. Taue looks really good here and makes himself stand out here. I really like the rolls being played here, Misawa seems like the leader, Taue the muscle, Kobashi to take the beating. Yeah, great match.
  8. Austin looks good, the gashes on his back are nasty and really do a great job of inadvertently selling the barbed wire as dangerous. I really loved the finish here, Adams up in a slam just about to be dropped on the barbs but he manages to reverse it into a kind of crucifix pin. Really good, best of the feud so far.
  9. Alright, some good brawling and some hot discuss punches from Kerry, this was good. And especially good was Percy Pringle somehow getting involved, albeit inadvertently....
  10. Learning that there's a Percy heel turn coming makes all these interactions pretty interesting. I'll be keeping a closer eye from now on. Good promo by Borne too, I don't know, it alarmist came off like a face promo to me.
  11. Totally weird but I'm in for this. Come on though, $1000 reward to find out who ruined s birthday party is so good.
  12. Kerry vs Borne is the angle I'm least interested in, so I wasn't paying super close attention to Kerry here. Pretty non descript promo.
  13. Really cool footage of street vendors here, and brothers, can you even imagine how delicious those tortas are that the lady was making?
  14. Wait what is this about whips? This is a strap match of some kind? This is as a result of the freebirds whipping the rnr with the belt on tv right? This is another match I've seen several times and I don't remember anything about whips or belts.
  15. Funny promo. I was thinking this was the "north cackalacka and south cackalacka" promo but that's a different one I guess.
  16. Tatum has really stood out in this feud. I've really enjoyed him and he really comes off unstable, and actually pretty nuanced. There's some delusions of grandeur and jealously and rage, it's very good character work.
  17. I thought Percy was the real star here. Very reasonable and honestly I thought Kerry was ready for a heel turn.
  18. The strangest part of this to me was the camera work and the kind of interrupted transmission feed we got with Gordon. I mean, I get what they were going for I guess, but it doesn't make much sense.
