  1. Just checking on the Big Time roster. Gordi said Shaw was staying with him and Dawho said Mantell and Jaggers were staying on the PR roster. Big Time also said they were taking Moretti and Roop from me but they are not on the roster?
  2. Lutte continues to be on fire. I can't wait for the tournament. It is one of the best events of the year in our game!
  3. This would be an awesome way to spend a night at the Honky Tonk. I just hope Scott Hall doesn't steal all the hot girls
  4. 4/26/1986 (HOUR #2) Match: Tommy “Wildfire” Rich defeats Larry Cheatum with the Lou Thesz Press Tommy Rich headed over to the interview desk but before he gets there, Missy Hyatt is on the scene. She apparently has a black eye and has been crying. Missy Hyatt: I begged you Tommy. I begged! I said never let Eddie find out about us! He has gone mad. He is like a Wildman. Tommy Rich: DID HE DO THIS TO YOU! DID HE! Missy, with her chest heaving, slowly nods her head as Wildfire takes off in search of Hotstuff! Jim Ross lets us all now that this love triangle is getting out of hand and he has no idea what will happen this week in OKC! Match DJ Peterson defeats Cowboy Don Bass with the Powerslam. COMMERCIAL Match: Tony Atlas with Ernie Ladd crushes Frank Dalton with the Beahug Atlas and Ladd are joined by the last member of the Nation of Domination , Bad Bad LeRoy Brown, where they are all having a good laugh about Hacksaw Reed warning them that he is not alone and that “We All-Americans Stick Together” comment that he made last week. Ernie Ladd: Well Hacksaw, it sure seemed that you were all alone last week when the Nation of Domination left you laying on the mat in Baton Rouge. We all know you got no friends and if you was smart, you would be looking for another job. Jim Ross: Why don’t you explain how it took all three of you to put Hacksaw down. Ernie Ladd: All I know is that we are here today and Hacksaw Reed is at home recovering from the Nation and if he was smart he will stay home. LeRoy Brown: I hope he is as dumb as he looks! He is mine this week in Jackson, Mississippi! I am a Bad, Bad man and I am going to hurt him real good. There is only one way out of the Nation of Domination and walking out on us is not the way. We will bury you Butch Reed. Magnum T.A. defeats Buddy Landell with the Belly to Belly in under a minute. Landell is a quality wrestler but was no match for T.A. tonight. He was in a real hurry to get to the interview desk where he was fuming about the Koloffs and what they did to the NWA World Champion, Rick Martel. Magnum T.A.: You guys think that you can do whatever you want and that everyone is afraid of you. Well let me tell you one thing. All night long people have been coming up to me waiting to be my partner against you Russians this week in Jackson. No disrespect to any of my good friends back there but I have done some thinking and the man coming out now is the perfect partner! Ole Anderson walks out real slow and means business. Ole Anderson: Well Ivan Koloff, you have found yourself a real powerhouse! I will give you that Nikita! You got some big muscles! You move real fast. You even know some moves but do you have the motivation? I have a lot of wrongs to right. My motivation is to make sure the Anderson name goes down as not only the best in wrestling but the most respected. I know everything about Ivan. I know everything about Nikita. I have never wrestled him but I know he is a quitter. When I start grinding on the shoulder, he is going to be howling! I promise you this Jim Ross; Magnum T.A. is the best in the business now and I am the best tag team wrestler of all time. Together, we going to make those Commies see Red! Red as in their own blood which will be flowing all over the ring. Jim Ross: I have known Ole a long time and what he says usually happens. Fans get down to Jackson, Mississippi this week as the Cold War is turning Red Hot! COMMERCIAL Match Dick Murdoch & Big Bubba Ottman with Ron Wright defeat Pete Austin & Steve Brody as Ottman hit the Giant Splash on Brody Jim Ross: Well Mr. Wright. It seems you finally have what you want! Ron Wright: That’s right Jim Ross! The UWF has seen the light. They have granted Dick Murdoch and Big Bubba an NWA World Tag Team Title Shot this week against those Unchristian Road Warriors. I mean look at them. The personify the Devil. Face paint, studded dog collars around their necks, mohawks and shaved heads! The titles mean a lot but more important is to clean up this sport by getting rid of the low lives involved! The Road Warriors rush out and the fight is on! Ottman is a hug man and Murdoch loves to brawl. This one is even from the get go and Jim Ross really hypes up the upcoming match. MATCH Dr. Death Steve Williams defeats Ray Candy with the football tackle in a battle of two real big men! During the match, a fuming Skandar Akbar comes to the interview desk where he is upset that Freebirds beat his men last week. He also goes off on the UWF for granting a match to Ottman and Murdoch before Dr. Death and the Barbarian who were just named the #1contenders. He again claims that he is being discriminated against because of his nationality! COMMERCIAL BREAK The Rock N Roll Express vs The Long Riders (Ron Bass & Black Bart) A nice battle for TV but in the end, the Rock n Roll hit the double dropkick on Bart and are going for the pin when out of nowhere, the Nightmares hit the scene. Together with the Long Riders, the Nightmares take control of the RnR Express and the show ends with Ron Bass yeeling to Black Bart to get the “Branding Iron.”
  5. UWF releases Don Bass + the wrestlers sent to Redneck and will add Lou Winston, Jerry Bryant and King Cobra into one jobber pack The Spoiler will be placed into one that is partially full and be used as a jobber to the stars Grizzly Boon will take a regular roster spot
  6. I also agreed to send Captain Redneck some talent for his roster. They will be on his roster as I have basically traded them to him. Baron VonRashke Pez Whatley Bob Roop Moondog Moretti Brett Wayne Sawyer.
  7. 4/26/1986 GREENVILLE, MISSISSIPPI WASHINGTON COUNTY CIVIC CNTER (First Hour) Hello everybody. Welcome to UWF Wrestling. We are coming to you from the Washington County Civic Center in Greenville, Mississippi. I am Jim Ross and my partner today is Cowboy Bill Watts. Cowboy Bill Watts: What a night it is going to be but first let’s get to the video montage from last week’s major events in the Mid-South Coliseum and the Baton Rouge River Centroplex. Montage set to James Brown’s “Living in America,” shows Michael Hayes rolling up the Warlord as the Freebirds defeated Devastation Inc., the Nation of Domination pummeling Hacksaw Butch Reed in a 3-1 attack after Hacksaw defeated Tony Atlas, Lex Luger successfully defending his Southern States title against Dr. D David Schultz after Schultz lost focus when Baby Doll laid a giant kiss on him and Magnum T.A. rushing the ring to save Rick Martel’s World Title from Nikita Koloff after Ivan helped his nephew by clobbering Martel with the Russian Chain. After the video, Ivan and Nikita are at the interview desk. Ivan Koloff: Magnum T.A. you have crossed the line. Nikita should right now be the World Champion. We all just saw it on the video tape but you stuck your head where it does not belong. Jim Ross: I think the video shows you hitting NWA World Champ Rick Martel with a chain! Nikita Koloff: Shut Up Jim Ross. What we did was follow the rules you Americans set up! I crushed Rick Martel in the first fall and then the ref gave Martel the second fall. Jim Ross: Gave him? You hit him with a chain! Well anyway, this week in Jackson, Mississippi, it will be you two against Magnum and a partner of his choosing. Ivan Koloff: Magnum T.A., you have crossed the line and this week you stupid Americans are going to watch your hero fall to the Russians. I doubt that anyone will be stupid enough to be his partner and suffer the wrath of the Koloffs so it will be a 2-1 handicap match and Magnum T.A. you will leave the ring permanently handicapped. Match The Ultimate Warrior defeats Verlon Biggs with the Warrior Smash Jim Ross and the fans are really taking a shine to Warrior who has been on a major role of late. Ross hypes up his big match this week in OKC against the Barbarian and Skandar Akbar. COMMERCIAL Match Dr. D. David Schultz beats Pez Whatley with the Piledriver When Schultz gets over to the interview desk, Jim Ross wants to know about what happened last week in Baton Rouge when he lost his UWF Southern Title match against Lex Luger after Baby Doll gave him that big kiss. As Schultz gives his answer, he has a huge smile on his face for once. David Schultz: I must say that women did get into my head. The good thing is that I found out two things. First of all, Luger can’t beat me on his own and secondly Baby Doll wants me as much as I want her. I have a feeling that this week in Oklahoma City, Lex luger is going to lose not only his title but his women! All of a sudden, Lex comes out to the interview desk without Baby Doll and gets in the face of Schultz. Schultz just keeps smiling as he asks Luger if Baby Doll has already left him after tasting a real man down in Louisiana. That is all it took for the brawl to be on. This one took every official and jobber in the building to break it up! Jim Ross adds a little a fire to the situation as he wonders where Baby Doll was tonight. Match: Exotic Adrian Street with Miss Linda prances his way to victory Moondog Moretti when he followed up a spanking with a Sleeper. . As we head to break, Ross lets us all know that the Exotic One will be continuing his war against the Hollywood Blondes this week in Jackson, Mississippi as he takes on Rip Rogers COMMERCIAL MATCH Kendall Windham defeated Big Bob Roop when he followed up the running bulldog with a huge Lariat. During the match, Jim Ross let’s us know that the UWF board of directors have noticed the winning streak that Windham has been on of late and that he has earned a Continental Title shot this week in Oklahoma City. During the match, Dirty Dick Slater came out with Jim Cornette and added to the commentary. Slater, gave a few backhanded compliments to the young Windham but mostly found fault with everything he did while Cornette can’t believe that the UWF is willing to ruin the career of a young wrestler who may have a nice future by putting him in the ring with Slater. After the match, Windham came over for his post-match interview but Slater and Cornette where still there. Slater gave him a few more insults and when Windham stepped up to confront him, Slater put his hands up as if to say relax. Dirty Dick then tried to sucker punch Kendall. Wham…. Windham blocked Slater’s blow and returned one of his own. Slater staggers back and gives his opponent a look of shock. Cornette steps in and Kendall comes at him. Cornette back peddles so fast that he falls down. Slater and Cornette scamper off as Windham hypes up his title match in OKC! MATCH Baron Von Rashke with Ron Wright defeated Brett Sawyer after Akbar canned Sawyer who fell right into Baron’s Clawhold. COMMERCIALL MATCH UWF SOUTHERN TITLE The Midnight Express with Jim Cornette vs The Nightmares Cornette is more annoying than ever as he heads to the ring with a microphone which Jim Ross informs us he used this past week in Memphis against the Rock n Roll Express when he clocked Robert Gibson saving the title for his guys. Tonight, we see a great 8- minute TV match with a lot of back and forth. It was somewhat of a copycat match to the RnR Express match as Ken Wayne played the face in peril and Danny Davis came in like a house afire. Cornette once again get involved as he again clobbered his opponent with megaphone. This time he was caught by the ref who called for the bell. That didn’t bother the Midnight Express one bit as again they will leave with their titles. With Davis busted open, the Midnight Express went to work 3-1 against Wayne. Soon both Nightmares were a bloody mess and taking a big beating. The crowd explodes as the Rock N Roll Express hit the ring causing Cornette’s crew to scamper back to the longer room. Gibson and Morton go to help the Nightmares. Jim Ross reminds us that there has been some bad blood between these two teams of late as the Nightmares have not been happy with the number of title shots they have received compared to the RnR Express. Gibson and Morton extend their hands as a gesture of peace but the Nightmares simply wave them off and walk out of the ring. Gibson and Morton seem frustrated and Jim Ross wonders why they even bothered to help the Nightmares tonight.
  8. Captain Redneck, I would be willing to help with some talent. I do know the free agent list is somewhat bare but we could make this work.
  9. You always find a way to get me hooked and this Chris Adams thing has my mind working overtime to see where you are going. Great shows
  10. Wow, the Americans came off really good here and Sting is a rising star. Was this much success for the foreign wrestlers common in Japan? I have only seen one house show in my life and the fan favorites won most bouts. On TV, the Americans hyped up the heels but they seemed to get their beatings at the house show
  11. Funks are some sneaky dudes! Iceman is causing havoc and I could just see him coming out smelling like roses in this TV Title situation. Rhodes, Lawler and JYD would be some team!
  12. Now that was fun! I think many of us have had Sullivan on our roster but found him tough to write for. You have him in the perfect spot and he is an awesome read week in and week out. Piper and the Snake Pit is also great to follow and I just love Blackwell with Patera.
  13. Iceman is great when he wins, when ho loses, when he is a heel or when he is a babyface. His versatility makes him very valuable to a promotion. Embry continues to be hilarious and Boss Man is in a perfect role! Always a good time when I see a new show from WCCW!
  14. The people in Baltimore left so happy last night but now they are just jealous! That to me was the main event of the year so far in the entire game. Great set up and ending! Can't wait for the TV show this week for MACW
  15. MAJOR UWF SHOWS FOR THE WEEK OF 4/20/86 MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE: MID-SOUTH COLISEUM: 4/21/1986 DJ Peterson defeats Verlon Biggs with a powerslam Texas Tornados (Sam Houston & Kendell Windham) defeat Brett Sawyer & Mike Graham with a Double Bulldog on Sawyer in a nice babyface vs babyface bout. Dick Murdoch with Ron Wright destroyed Pez Whatley as he once again hit back to back Brainbusters. Murdoch seemed like he really had some built-in hatred here towards Pez. Ron Fuller & Bob Armstrong defeated Big Bubba Ottman and Baron Von Rashke with Ron Wright as Armstrong hit a Georgia Jawbreaker on Baron. The problem came just before the pin as Wright jumped up on the ring apron to give Baron the knucklebuster. Fuller saw it and went after Wright and chased him all the way back to the locker room. This left Armstrong at a 2-1 disadvantage. Ottman came in just after the three count and leveled the Bullet. The big man than dragged Armstrong over to the corner and Ottman climbed to the top rope and come off with a Giant Slash. By the time Fuller returned, the damage was done and Armstrong had to be helped from the ring. Tommy Rich and Eddie Gilbert who was without Missy Hyatt fought to a Double Count-out as they brawled all over the arena. The amount of blood spilled here shows feud may just be beginning but it is already white hot! NWA NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: The Midnight Express defeated the Rock n Roll Express as this time Jim Cornette brought a megaphone to the ring and found a way to use it as a weapon as he clocked Gibson over the head allowing Eaton to hit the Alabama Jam for the pin. NWA WORLD 6 MAN TITLE: The Freebirds defeated Devastation Inc. (Dr. Death, Konga and the Warlord) as Michael Hayes outsmarted the Warlord as he played possum and the Warlord rushed in only to be rolled up for the 3 count. Hayes had taken a pretty good beating here but always has some trick up his sleeve. It is also obvious from this one that anytime Gordy and Williams are in the same ring there is going to be chaos. These two big horses hit some of the biggest power moves on each other as they still have a lot of unfinished business. Akbar was claiming Hayes pulled the trunks to get the pin but to no avail. BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: RIVERSIDE CENTROPLEX: 4/24/1986 Superstar Billy Graham defeats Larry Cheatum with the Bearhug. Exotic Adrian Street defeats Brut Beefcake with the Sleeper Brad Armstrong & Jeff Jarrett defeat the Hollywood Blondes (Rip Rogers and Buddy Landell) as Rogers got caught with the Russian Legsweep by Brad. Landell lost focus as he was after JJ on the outside of the ring and was unable to make the save. LeRoy Brown with Ernie Ladd defeated Ray Candy with a middle rope flying elbow that followed up a Big Boot by Ladd. Hacksaw Butch Reed defeated Tony Atlas with Ernie Ladd by DQ as Ladd got involved. Ladd then called in other Nation of Domination member LeRoy Brown and the 3-1 attack on Reed really caused some damage. NWA World Tag Team Title Match: The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering defeated the Long Riders (Bass & Bart) with the Doomsday Device as Hawk crushed Bart. UWF Southern States Title Match: Lex Luger with Baby Doll defeated Dr. D David Schultz with the Rack Attack. As the action spilled outside Baby Doll got involved by planting a big kiss on the face of Dr. D. Schultz lost focused and as he staggered onto the ring, Luger caught him. Luger was not so happy with Baby Doll after the match. NWA World Title Match: 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS: After about 18 minutes, the first fall comes to an end as Nikita Koloff caught the World Champ with a Russian Sickle and got the 3-count. According to the rules, there was a one minute break between falls and Nikita and Ivan took full advantage as Ivan brought in the Russian Chain and beat Martel all over the ring. As soon as the minute ended, the ref called for the bell and DQ Nikita for the second fall. This all seemed like a plan as Martel was now in no shape for the third fall and all Nikita had to do was pin Martel as soon as the minute rest period was up and he would be World champ. After about 45 seconds, Magnum TA rushes to the ring. Ivan tries to stop him from getting into the ring but a quick Belly to Belly Suplex gets rid of him. Nikita rushes at T.A. as he enters the ring but Magnum ducks under the Sickle and catches Nikita in the Belly to Belly. The ref calls for the bell and announces Nikita is the winner of the bout by DQ! The fans are booing until they realize the title doesn’t change hands on a DQ. Magnum T.A. has saved the day and has splattered Koloffs all over the arena. As he helps Martel back to the locker room, the crowd is giving a standing ovation!
  16. Clash of Champions was a great show and really helps the NWA get a nice foothold in moving North if they so choose. -I hope Polynesian Power gets another shot. If you look at any promos from Tui he was really good. -Bob Backlund gets win but can he handle the former Olympian. The feud here would not get people out of their seats but it is a turning point in Backlund's career. He comes out on top he is ready for bigger things... if not.... it could be all over. -Poor Ole failing in his last shot at Dillion. -I must say that I was surprised the Stud Stable went down but that is perfect! Cooley has deserved more in this game and I am really happy you gave it to him. -The semi main and the main event were perfectly booked in my opinion. I can't wait for more Ornforff vs Race and a nice showcase of the World title with two great wrestlers would be awesome to watch. I am not sure all of the people of Baltimore agree. I have been there a few times and it seems like a rough town. They might want to see two guys bash each others heads in.
  17. Maybe the mighty truly has fallen. Wrestlingdata.com says Backlund did not wrestle between 1985 and 1988. Does anyone know if this is true?
  18. The Harts keep going nuts... very fun! Is there trouble in paradise again? We have seen Hayes and Gordy turn on each other before. Is this only the beginning or was it truly just a bump in the road.
  19. Nothing against you LowBlow and your WWF as you have done a great job but I am thrilled! Hulk Hogan is one of the reasons I lost interest in wrestling especially in the late 1980's. All of my territories were no longer on TV except the rare times WCCW or Polynesian Pro appeared on cable and week in and week out I watched this cartoon figure and his pythons rise up from defeat with a simply leg drop and the reign of Hogan continued. Ric Flair gives so many options and I am excited to see where this goes. Great job
  20. 4/12/1986 TULSA, OKLAHOMA (HOUR #2) Match: The Midnight Express with Jim Cornette defeated Brett Wayne Sawyer & Dixie Dynamite #1 as Condrey raked the eyes of Dynamite and Eaton hit the Alabama Jammer At the interview desk, Dirty Dick Slater joined Cornette and the Express as Cornette was bragging about all his champions. Jim Ross wondered if any of them would be champions if they actually had to follow the rules. Cornette threatened Mother’s lawyers but Jim Ross wasn’t fazed. Cowboy Bill Watts interrupted and let Cornett and the Midnight Express know that they better be ready for Monday night at the Mid-South Coliseum as they will be defending the NWA National Tag titles against the Rock n Roll Express. Cornette was fuming but as the interview ended, Dirty Dick Slater whispered something into his ear and Cornette seemed to leave with a smile on his face! Match Hacksaw Butch Reed beat Boomer Smith with the Gorilla Press Slam Reed was not used to getting the applause but didn’t seem too interested either way. At the interview desk, Reed agreed with Ernie Ladd’s earlier comments that he is really without friends in the UWF but does seem to hint that he is not completely alone and is ready to destroy the Nation of Domination. Hacksaw Reed: Ernie Ladd, listen up closely…. Before you try to set me and do something stupid like attack me in the parking lot, us All-Americans stick together and WE will be ready for ya’ll. Jim Ross: We? Who is we? Hacksaw Reed: Everyone will find out at the right time! COMMERCIAL Before our next match, the Koloffs are at the interview desk letting everyone know they better pbut the ambulance on notice for this Thursday in Jackson as Rick Martel is going to get squashed like the little bug he is. Match: Bob Armstrong defeated Frank Dalton with the Georgia Jawbreaker During the match, Ron Wright and his army, Murdoch, Ottman and Von Raschke surround the ring but before they can attack, Ron Fuller and Ray Candy come out to even the sides. Wright’s army decides that discretion is the better part of valor and head to the locker roon. Armstrong and his allies really hype up their unity and they are ready for Ron Wright and his War against the Unchristian Wrestlers! Magnum T.A. defeats Hacksaw Higgins with the Belly to Belly in under a minute. Magnum T.A. warns his good friend Rick Martel to keep his eyes open this week in Jackson as the Koloffs cannot be trusted. This brings out Ivan and Nikita who begin to get in the face of T.A. but the World Champ comes out to even the sides. We get a great Koloff vs Martel and T.A. standoff here where the crowd wants to see a huge explosion but nothing happens except for the fact that Jim Ross hypes the title match in Jackson as much as he could! COMMERCIAL Before the next match, Jim Ross brings out the new NWA 6 Man Champions; the Fabulous Freebirds who give a promo like only they could. They are so excited to have these titles as they feel it fits them perfectly and they know no other team will ever be able to walk all the way down Bad Street and take the belts from them. MATCH Mil Mascaras defeats Jerry Musher with a top rope corkscrew plancha. During the match, a fuming Skandar Akbar comes to the interview desk where he is upset that Mil Mascaras was allowed to break all the rules last week in Dothan against the Warlord and he vowed revenge but for right now he is more interested in the NWA World 6 Man titles. Akbar calls out Dr. Death, the Barbarian and the Warlord. Skandar Akbar: Not sure who the Freebirds think they are. We just heard them say that nobody could take their titles. Well I promise you my 3 monsters here would have no problem bringing those titles home to my stable. The crowd erupts as the Fabulous Freebirds hit the arena floor. Terry Gordy goes right after Dr. Death, Michael Hayes is squared off with the Warlord and Buddy Roberts is attacking the Barbarian with a chair. In a bit of a surprise, the Freebirds really whoop up on the Devastation Inc. Maybe it was the surprise attack but they took no prisoners here as they used any weapon they could find. Eventually Akbar calls his men to retreat as the Freebirds once again head over to the interview desk. Michael Hayes: If you are gong to be the bullies you better be able to back it up Jack! Devastation Inc. you can’t back it up. You could never even step on Bad Street; never mind make it to the last house on the block where we live. And what was that Akbar. You mouth off and then run for cover? Terry Gordy: Oh, Steve Williams. We have some unfinished business and I promise you we gonna be knockin some heads this week! BAM BAM STYLE! Buddy Roberts: (in a perfect whiskey voice) Like Michael said. We hate bullies and just to show you how much we hate bullies. We are willing to put the NWA 6 Man titles on the line this week in the Mid-South Coliseum just to get a piece of you. As the show comes to an end, Watts let’s everyone know that it will be Devastation Inc vs the Fabulous Freebirds at the Mid-South Coliseum.
  21. Great card! I have only seen a few videos from WWC and it seemed like there were a lot of crazy finishes with chaos all around. From what I have seen, this card was spot on especially with the wild crowds.
  22. I think I need to learn from you. So many clean finishes instead of all my DQ's and run-ins. I just feel that when I have a clean finish, the angle is over even though you keep proving that it isn't. Great show as always.
  23. Loved the video! Invader was busted open so quick
  24. Twists and turns are what make wrestling and this game great. Hart vs Hart! Awesome
  25. Fun card. Love the pin on top of the bar
