  1. Greatest half hour in Dawn of War! Really enjoying the vodoo angle with the lady in the hood and the monster to become Taz.
  2. Wow... Superclash is going to be great!! The Elimination Match really has my interest. Also, can't wait for Orndorff vs Hansen. I bet all the girls can't wait for the Fantastics vs The RnR Express!! This one will have some sort of crazy ending I bet. Awesome job with Nikita and Debeers. I think Ivan and Nikita were great but Debeers and Nikita would have even been better. Nice arrival for the Anvil. I always liked him. I also enjoyed the smack by Leo Burk on Tommy Jammer... great way to get some heat but also a great way to put the cocky young guy in his place. Fun segment.
  3. Looking forward to Future Shock and the direction of WCW
  4. Memphis adds Mike Sharpe, Pez Whatley and Steve Lombardi

You always have such great answers to my questions. Thanks for the info.

Sorry for falling so far behind. The U-Cosmos tournament is really entertaining. The videos you added were a great addition. Vader really seemed to crush Takada. Was wondering if people like Vader did promos over there with the language issue and all. Would love to see all the Americans as heels... just to see the opposite as here.
  7. Memphis will add Sean Royal and Chris Champion
  8. Great plan. Good luck and enjoy!!!
  9. Really exciting show from start to finish. Using BJM in this role is a great choice. Between his size and history in Florida, people better listen. Gorgeous and Precious had their egos put in place here tonight. Will be interesting to see where this goes. The segment with Graham and Mando was so well done. It had it all from great wording of the interviews to BJM to the match to the arrival of Hector and Chavo and then the feud started between the Armstrongs and the Guerreros. Awesome booking! All the matches did a nice job of moving your angles forward and really looking forward to next week with the bog match/big stipulations between the Armstrongs and the Guerreros. Thanks for such a great read.
  10. AD was Frenchy Martin on your roster before? I had him listed in free agency and LastStopTour picked him up. If he was on yours prior to him joining, I will let him know.
  11. To all those readers of Dawn of War, who have been thinking of giving this hobby a try, please contact me. I have an interesting idea that would require a second writer.

  13. Thanks for all your work with the NWA... I hope you enjoy the WWF.
  14. Great first show. The interaction with Gossett and the women had me cracking up. Really good writing here!! Nice job introducing all the main characters to us. You have a knack for some town promotions and make them seem so realistic and cool. Great job.
  15. Wow... these fans got 15 great matches. What a way to get them hooked on live events. Great hype for the PWF. Love how the tournament hyped up all your angles! Nice job keeping the Florida feel with many of the past Florida stars staying hot. Kabuki with the mist... Mike Graham was willing to fight even though he was blind... Windham all the way to the finals... Humperdink with a hand in everything... and a Funk on top. Really fun read. Good choice with the Southern Rockers!! This team will keep all the girls happy.
  16. Thanksgiving Night: November 28, 1989 USWA TITLE MATCH Eric Embry vs The Assassin (Don Bass in a mask) Eric Embry continues to take on all comers as he is giving away nearly 70 pounds to the Assassin. In this match, Embry continues to win over the crowd with his never quit attitude. No matter what the Assassin did, Embry was right back and ready to fight. The Assassin became frustrated and tossed Embry through the middle ropes and out onto the floor. Ref Jerry Calhoun admonished the Assassin and then went over to the ropes to check on Embry. The Assassin took this time to load his mask with some type of object…. As Embry staggers through the middle ropes…. WHAM… loaded head butt by the Assassin. The count… 1…2…2 ¾ …. Somehow Embry kicks out. The Assassin is in the face of the ref who keeps telling him it was only a count of 2. From behind, Embry, who now is bleeding profussily from the head, smashed the Assassin, loaded mask first into the turnbuckle. The Assassin falls straight back like he is knocked out…. Even though we can’t tell with the mask in…. The count…. 1…2…3! The fans love how Embry managed to win this match! WOMEN’S MATCH Madusa vs Terri Poch Memphis has not yet gotten into the Women’s revolution but if they are going to push this aspect of the sport, they got a great duo to hype up the crowd. Not only are these two powerful, athletic and have a nice array of skill, they are both very easy on the eyes! In the end, Medusa gets the win with a spinning heel kick followed by the big German Suplex. “The Fab One” Steve Keirn vs “The Dirty Dutchmen” Dutch Mantel These two have been at each other’s throats for about 3 weeks now as Mantel laid some heavy insults on Keirn and Keirn answered with some heavy fists. Again, Dutch comes to the ring in his usually gear which includes Shoo Baby…. And again, Eddie Marlin has a person come and remove the Bull Whip to the back. Dutch can complain all he wants to, but Eddie Marlin is going to hold to his guns… No Weapons! As for the bout, a nice back and forth match between two guys who can both sell and bump with the best. Keirn starts with some technical wrestling but Dutch quickly turns this into a brawl. Unfortunately, the brawl spilled into the crowd and never returned to the ring resulting in a Double -Count out. TRI-STATE TITLE MATCH The Dirty White Boy © vs Brad Armstrong Nobody really knows if either man is truly injured as we head into this title match. The DWB has been wearing a forearm brace for months now and while he claims it’s due to an injury, most believe it is more like a crutch then a brace as he uses “the loaded arm gear” as a weapon whenever he seems to be in trouble. As for Brad Armstrong, many believe his “car accident” was just an invented story by Eddie Marlin to allow him to even the odds as he is wearing a giant cast on his right arm. As for the match, Brad uses his wrestling skill to control the opening segment before the DWB takes the match to the gutter. We see the DWB fondling with his brace apparently “loading it up.” He comes off the ropes for the forearm smash…. Brad ducks under it and hits the ropes… WHAM… a huge right hand by Brad with the heavy cast and down goes the DWB. 1…2…3! Brad Armstrong wins the Tri-State Title….. Brad is now ripping at the forearm brace of the DWB. He has it off and reaches inside…. He pulls out a large metal plate! The crowd boos the DWB and then they cheer as ref Jerry Calhoun hand him his new title! UWF TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH CAJUN STREET FIGHT Doom (Hacksaw Butch Reed & Ron Simmons) with Teddy Long vs Greg “The Hammer Valentine & Honky Tonk Man with Jimmy Hart In a strange twist, we get the UWF tag team champs, Doom, putting their title on the line against a CWA team. This has more to do with the nation-wide hatred of Jimmy Hart than the recent alliance between the two new promotions. All four wrestlers come to the ring in jeans with the only apparent weapon being Honky Tonk Man’s guitar which he has promised to use. Doom is all over the First Family as this bout gets started. We see both Reed and Simmons rip off their belts and use them as whips. The sound of this leather smashing against the backs of Valentine and HTM is music to the fan’s ears. Jimmy Hart tries to get involved but Teddy Long is ready for him and the two managers begin to go at it. After catching a few shots from Long, Jimmy Hart scampers around the ring with Long in hot pursuit. Jimmy, running for his life, actually goes under the ring. Teddy looks for him but comes up shrugging his shoulders. While all of this is going on, HTM who is not the legal man in the ring goes for the guitar. Ron Simmons has some sort of nerve hold on the traps of Greg Valentine. Honky Tonk Man comes in from behind with the guitar… WHAM… Reed with a running knee to the HTM…. The guitar goes flying. Simmons releases the hold and we go all 4 men in a wild brawl. From under the ring…. Jimmy Hart comes out with a large white towel. Reed throws HTM through the middle rope and follows him out onto the floor. Greg Valentine scoops up the guitar. WHAM…. Valentine smashes the guitar over the head of Simmons. Simmons staggers a few steps before falling to the ground. The Cover…. 1…2… somehow Simmons kicks out! The Hammer grabs the leg of Simmons…. Figure Four!! Hammer is grabbing the ropes, arching his back, amping up the pressure. Simmons is struggling. Without Teddy Long noticing, Jimmy Hart has come up from behind him… Suddenly a white towel comes flying into the ring…. Jimmy Hart, like a cockaroach, slithers back under the ring. Ref Jerry Calhoun looks at the white towel… looks at the trouble Simmons is in, gives a look at Teddy Long who does nothing as he has no idea what happened. Calhoun now looks to the other side of the ring where Jimmy Hart is now standing… Jerry Calhoun puts it all together and calls for the bell. Everyone seems to be confused… everyone but Jimmy Hart who has crawled all the way to the other side of the ring is screaming and pointing at the white towel. The ring announcer explains …. With have new UWF Tag Team Champions as Teddy Long has thrown in the white towel causing his tag team to submit! Long is screaming in denial but Jerry Calhoun just shrugs his shoulders, points to the towel and hands Greg Valentine and the HTM the UWF tag titles. BOOTCAMP MATCH Sgt. Slaughter vs Tarzan Goto & Tojo Yamamota Both men come to war ready for war. Sgt in complete military gear including combat boots and his riding crop. Goto has both fists taped and is carrying his bamboo stick. And a war it is… both men are bloodied in this patriotic battle of East vs West. Eventually, Sarge connects with the Cannon Lariat and then locks in the Cobra Clutch… Tarzan is struggling but soon collapses into a sitting position. He is starting to go out. The ref is checking and lifts the arm of Tarzan and it falls to his side…. 1 …. The ref lifts the arm again and it fails again…2…. WHAM…. Tojo from behind….with the bamboo stick. Over and over again, Tojo is beating Sarg with the cane. The fans are screaming in anger but there is nothing he can do in this NO DQ match. Suddenly, a large man about 6’6 with blonde hair, wearing jeans comes out of the stands. Security goes to stop him but he shoves them out of the way. He is now in the ring where he grabs the bamboo stick from Tojo and clobbers him over the head with. Tojo staggers out of the ring. He checks on Sarge he seems to be in pain but ready to fight. Tarzan is staggering to his feet… The big man hands the bamboo stick to Sarge and then stands guard to make sure Tojo doesn’t come back in… WHAM…WHAM… WHAM… Sarge with repeated blows on Tarzan with the bamboo stick. Sarge, then goes back to where we were before the chaos started. He locks in the Cobra Clutch. This time… ref Jerry Calhoun raises and drops the big Asian’s hand three times and calls for the bell giving the win to Sgt. Slaughter! Slaughter embraces the big blonde and it is obvious that these two know each other. The fans are very interested but are going to have to wait until next week on TV. SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH (WILL BE WRESTLED AS A 6-MAN TAG MATCH) FIRST BLOOD ELIMINATION MATCH The Freebirds with Jimmy Golden vs The Studd Stable with Buddy Roberts As we all know, nothing technical in this match so lets just get to the eliminations…. First…. Sid Eudy military press slams Jimmy Garvin into the announce table cutting his head…. Next… In a surprise elimination, Sid Eudy dove at Jimmy Golden who had been whipped into the corner post outside of the ring. Golden moved at the last minute and Eudy hit the ring post… blood from mouth. Next… Jimmy Golden slams on a chair into the temple of Robert Fuller and busts his forehead open. Next… Even though Fuller had already been eliminated, he staggered up from the chair shot by Golden, reached into his tights and pulled out a small chain. He grabs Golden by the shoulder and spins him around…. WHAM… multiple chain shots to Golden his is now showing blood from a few different spots. This leaves Michael Hayes and Buddy Roberts… two original Freebirds… fighting for the Southern Titles… fighting for blood! We get a pretty good brawl with some actually wrestling moves but No Blood! Finally, Buddy Roberts nails Hayes with a backbreaker and goes to the top rope for a bib elbow drop. He leaps off but Michael Hayes puts his knees up and catches Roberts in the gut! Roberts is rolling around in pain as Hayes drags him up by his hair. WHAM… Running Bulldog by Hayes… Roberts is in trouble…. Hayes whips Roberts into the corner and rushes in after him. He leaps onto the second rope and starts throwing haymaker after haymaker. The crowd is counting the blows. 1…2…3…6…7…8… Hayes pauses checks Roberts… NO BLOOD Hayes, frustrated, snaps Roberts to the floor and puts a knee into his back in almost a rear chinlock. Michael Hayes just starts savagingly clawing at the forehead of Roberts. He is ripping layers of skin off. This just looks so personal!!!! Buddy Roberts is now bleeding with color dripping down his entire face. The ref calls for the bell as the Freebirds survive this bloody war! HAIR VS TITLE MATCH SOUTHERN TITLE MATCH Jeff Jarrett © vs Eddie Gilbert with Jimmy Hart & Missy Hyatt (If Jarrett wins, he gets to shave the head of Jimmy Hart) First thing, as soon as this match gets under way, Teddy Long rushes out and continues his chase of Jimmy Hart. Missy Hyatt was unsure of Long’s intentions and hid in the corner as Jimmy Hart rushed up the exit ramp with Long in pursuit! As for the match, the dirty tactics of Gilbert and Hyatt had JJ scrambling from the beginning. This was a very similar match to their last battle in the Mid-South Coliseum where Gilbert’s confidence was growing and growing. At one point, Eddie was so sure he had the title won that he called Missy Hyatt up on the apron for a long kiss… To Gilbert’s shock, JJ kicked out. Gilbert is fuming and drags JJ up and nails Gilbert with the Hot Shot Suplex but again, to his shock JJ managed to get out of trouble as he got his foot across the bottom rope. Missy Hyatt is up on the apron screaming at ref Jerry Calhoun…. WHAM… A frustrated Gilbert dragged JJ up and went for another Hot Shot Suplex but when he dropped JJ’s legs across the top rope, they landed on Missy, and she went flying. This caused the Hot Shot to fail and JJ just rolled off the top rope onto the mat. Eddie, by the ropes, looked out at Missy he was rolling on the ground…. FROM BEHING, JJ with the roll up and maybe with a fast count… ref Jerry Calhoun completes the three count. JJ is still the champ and its time to shave the head of Jimmy Hart…. But…. Where is Jimmy Hart. He must now get his hair cut but he is nowhere to be seen. Suddenly the crowd erupts as Doom and Teddy Long are dragging Jimmy Hart back to the ring. The ref hands the clippers to JJ but first he goes over to shake the hands of Teddy Long, Hacksaw Butch Reed and Ron Simmons. The fans realize that babyfaces are babyfaces wherever they wrestle, and heels are heels. It is great to see the cooperation between the UWF and the CWA to fight a common enemy. The shaving of the head of Jimmy Hart commences as Hart has no choice but to sit there. Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt are throwing a hissy fit but there is nothing they can do with Doom acting as security guards. When it is over, Teddy Long pulls out the white towel, presumably the one used to trick the ref into giving the First Family the UWF tag titles. It looks like he is going to give it to Hart so he can cover his bald head…. But just before he hands it to Hart, he pulls it back and tosses it into the crowd. The crowd loves this karma and Jimmy Hart, trying to be covered by Gilbert and Hyatt makes the walk of shame… as bald as a cue ball! USWA TITLE MATCH Jerry “The King” Lawler vs “Mr. Perfect” Curt Henning This one is pretty easy to write as it is everything you would expect. Both men put on a great show with many momentum changes, lots of bumping, selling and near falls. The only problem is that it goes the 60-Miunte Time Limit, and we do not get a winner. The crowd is disappointed as they were so close to exploding time and time again as Lawler was inches from winning the title. The one thing that nobody knows is what is going to happen to the USWA title. Both wrestlers demanded that the match continue but the ring announcer came on and announced that the match couldn’t go any further as we were up against the 11:00 curfew put in place by the City Counsel for events at the Midsouth Coliseum. Fans shuffled out knowing they saw a great show but wondering about what they would see this week on TV.

  22. Episode #7 November 23, 1989 The traditional CWA opening is played with some music being played as we see all the big stars of Memphis past hitting big moves. Lance Russell: Yellow again everybody. Lance Russell and Dave Brown here for Championship Wrestling. By golly we’ve got a great week instore for everyone as this Thursday, Thanksgiving Night, at the Midsouth Coliseum we will crown the first ever UWSA champion as Jerry Lawler and Mr. Perfect, Curt Henig square off in a 60-hour time limit battle for the ages. Dave Brown: That is going to be some match as those might just be the two best wrestles in the world…. And besides that match, the fans will be treated to 7 other spectacular matches including Sgt. Slaughter facing Tarzan Goto in a Boot Camp Match and then for the Southern Tag Team Title we will actually have a 6-Man First Blood Elimination Match between the Freebirds with Jimmy Golden and the Studd Stable (Fuller & Eudy) with Buddy Roberts. Lance Russell: Fans the rest of that magnificent card will be revealed during this hour were you will see 5 great matches. First it will be the Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine vs The Batten Twins. Then we will see Brad Armstrong vs “The Hustler” Rip Rogers. The Freebirds will face the Guerreros in a great tag team battle. In the main event, it will be Jerry “The King” Lawler vs Eddie Gilbert with the USWA title shot at WresteWar on the line… and in our TV time remaining match, it will be Tarzan Goto returning from his suspension as he faces off with Sam Houston. So, let’s not wait any longer, the timekeeper is ready to go! MATCH #1 Honky Tonk Man & Greg “The Hammer Valentine” with Jimmy Hart defeat The Batten Twins after HTM connected with the Shake Rattle & Roll on Bart Batten. Lance Russell: First of all, congratulations on a very impressive win and…. Suddenly two large black men come out to the podium wearing title belts around their waist. Lance Russell: Now hold on…hold on just a minute… Folks, I’m not sure you know who these two men are but these are the UWF Tag Team Title holders… Hacksaw Butch Reed and “All-American” Rron Simmons. Now I’m not sure why they are here right now but we need to keep some level of decorum. Hacksaw Butch Reed: Jimmy Hart … we know all about you and aint none of it good. You’re a liar… your as crooked as they come. I was with Jerry “The King” Lawler down in Georgia a few months back and he’s one stand up guy. He knows the difference between right and wrong and what you did to him is simply wrong. Well, my brother here Ron Simmons and I saw the video of how you all attacked him and we said if we ever got the chance, we’d help the King even the score. Ron Simmons: Mr. Russell, that chance came a few weeks ago when we found out about the merger between the CWA and the UWF. We went to Mr. Watts down there in Louisiana and asked him if it was alright if we put our UWF tag titles on the line against Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and the Honky Tonk Man. At first, he was a little confused but when we explained what they did to the King, he was all for it! So, what do you two suckers say… you two vs us two for the UWF tag titles in a Cajum Street Fight Match. Come as you want… bring anything you want and fight until one team can’t get up before the count of 10! Jimmy Hart: Are you two fools finally though… Are two kiddin me. You two are upset that we beat the crap out of that no-good Jerry Lawler? I mean are you two men our are you two mice. This is professional wrestling baby. This is where the big boys play…. You two might look big but I think that’s just so you’ll will fit into a giant chicken suit… Let me get this straight… You two morons came all the way from Louisiana to give us a title match for a company we don’t even work for? And all we need to do is beat two chumps with a third-grade education…. Hammer… what’d you say. This sounds too good to be true. Reed and Simmons are getting angry and close in, but Lance keeps them from going at it! Greg Valentine: You got that right Jimmy…. I’ve wrestled all the best this business has to offer from Ric Flair to Hulk Hogan and neither of those could keep me down. Now these two clowns are handing us a title shot… consider this a done deal. Honk Tonk Man: Up here in the CWA, we’ve been hearing a whole lot about family lately. Jimmy Golden and Robert Fuller are at each other’s throats. Heck, the Freebirds are ready to destroy each other…. But not me and my family… Not sure if you two jocks with rocks for brains know this but, Jerry Lawler and myself are first cousins…. And to me… Jerry is like Santa Clause. He just keeps on giving. First, because he is so hated around here, I am able to get a job from Jimmy Hart to come down here and kick his sorry butt all over the place…. And now… because of Jerry Lawler…. I am going to become the UWF tag team champions! Wow… thanks, Jerry…. Oh and if you two are smart enough to understand sarcasm…. Yes… we accept your challenge and will be happy to beat you in a Cajum Street Fight where I’ m sure my guitar will play a little chin music! As both teams head off in separate directions, Lance is really glad he was able to keep the peace. COMMERCIAL BREAK-WRESTLEWAR PROMO: THANKGIVING NIGHT-MIDSOUTH COLISEUM MATCH #2 Brad Armstrong vs Rip Rogers Rip is the first to the ring and starts his whole gimmick about looking for a valet in the crowd. The last two times he did this he had some success as he found Elvira and then Miss. Tennessee. Unfortunately, Elvira seems to have vanished and Miss. Tennessee slapped him in the face. This time he comes up empty “just as he thought he would” because the women of Memphis are uglier and fatter then the farm animals on the outskirts of this hick town. Lance just shakes his head in disapproval when suddenly Eddie Marlin comes out and lets everyone know that Brad Armstrong had been in a car accident and won’t be at the match. Lance hopes that Brad is okay and wonders if he will be able to wrestle at WrestleWar as he is scheduled to face the Dirty White Boy for the Tri-State Title. Eddie Marlin hopes to have more information. Rip Rogers comes over and arrogantly as possible thinks this is all made up as Brad Armstrong is just afraid to face him. Eddie Marlin promises that is not the truth and that he has found a replacement for him… None other than Sgt. Slaughter. The crowd explodes as Rip Rogers looks like he is going to have a heart attack. Once the match gets started, it is all Sgt. Slaughter as he wins with the Cobra Clutch! After the match, Slaughter hypes up his match at WrestleWar with Tarzan Goto as he can’t wait to get his hands on Goto and hopes that the maggot, Tojo Yamamota, is dumb enough to get involved! COMMERCIAL BREAK-WRESTLEWAR PROMO: THANKGIVING NIGHT-MIDSOUTH COLISEUM Before our next bout, Eddie Marlin is back out with Lance and he summons for the Dirty White Boy to come to the interview desk. For the past few weeks, Eddie and the DWB have been going round and round about the forearm brace that the DWB is wearing. Eddie Marlin said that the DWB cannot wrestle with it anymore as it’s a weapon. Last week the DWB threatened a lawsuit as he had a doctor’s note saying that due to an injury, the DWB had to wear the brace. Eddie Marlin: Dirty White Boy… while I do not believe your injury is real and that the doctor has been bribed into writing that letter, it’s not a battle that I have time to fight right now. Therefore, I’m going to allow you to wrestle with the forearm brace for now. In fact, I am going to allow any injured wrestler to wear the protection that they need to wrestle in their matches. I think this is best for both the wrestlers and the fans. DWB: Well finally, a decision from Eddie Marlin that makes sense! Suddenly Brad Armstrong comes out to the podium wearing jeans and a sweartshirt. DWB: Well, well, well… if it isn’t the cowardly Brad Armstrong. The one who made up a car accident to get out of his beating in our Tri-State Championship match on Thanksgiving. Go ahead Brad… tell us all that you can’t wrestle this week! Lance: Oh that’s enough of that. This man has just been in a horrible wreck. Are you okay Brad? Brad Armstrong: Thanks Lance. And yes… I’m fine. Just a broken right arm. (Brad takes off the sweatshirt and reveals a huge cast on his right arm that must weigh 10 pounds) Brad Armstrong: Eddie, I did hear your conversation on the way in… With this cast protecting my right arm, I’m good to wrestle the DWB on Thanksgiving for the Tri-State title. The DWB is screaming that this was all a set up and that Brad isn’t really hurt… and the damage he could do to someone with that cement arm he’s got! Eddie Marlin: Sorry DWB… what I do for one wrestle, I have to do for all. Good luck to you both in the Mid-South Coliseum! The DWB follows Eddie off set and is yelling the entire way! MATCH #3 SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH The Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin) with Jimmy Golden vs The Guerreros (Hector and Chavo) The Guerreros have been clamoring for a title match for weeks now and today they finally got it. Both Hector and Chavo gave the Freebirds all they could handle but in the end, it was the fan favorite Freebirds who came out on top after a moment of chaos where the Freebirds managed a double running bulldog on the Guerreros. POST MATCH INTERVIEW: Lance: Well congratulations fellas that was a great win over the Guerreros and now it is on to WrestleWar with the 6-Man Tag team match for your Southern Tag Titles where it is a First Blood Elimination Match. Jimmy Garvin: (Basically screaming) Let me tell ya’ll something. The three of us are real excited… We’re less than a weak away from WrestleWar. And let me tell you something else Mr. Buddy Roberts. ITS…. NOT…. MY…. FAULT…. That you got you’re butt kicked out of the Freebirds but it will be MY FAULT that you don’t win back these Southern Tag Team Titles. I can’t wait to make you bleed on Thanksgiving Night for what you said about my good friend… Michael P.S. Hayes! Michael Hayes: Oh what a wicked web we weave when we try yo deceive… That’s right Buddy Roberts… you are one deceitful jackass if you will. Making up stories about why you’re not with us anymore. About how it’s my fault your not with the greatest tag team in sports today. Never once did I hear you blame your other good friends for your dimise. Never once did I hear you blame Jack Daniels and Johhny Walker of you know what I mean. And let’s not forget that other deceitful creature over there… Mr. Robert Fuller. He goes out there and throws out the back bone of the Studd Stable for pure jealousy…. That’s right he couldn’t handle Jimmy Golden getting all the attention… all the girls so he went out a recruited a walking robot… called Sid Ugly! Jimmy Golden: Michael… that’s okay. I mean I am in a much better place know. I got you two great guys to party with down on Bad Street and I also got the Southern Tag Title. And after Thanksgiving, I will have that low life of a cousin’s blood on my hands! COMMERCIAL BREAK-WRESTLEWAR PROMO: THANKGIVING NIGHT-MIDSOUTH COLISEUM MAIN EVENT USWA WORLD TITLE SHOT ON THE LINE Jerry “The King Lawler” vs “Hotstuff” Eddie Gilbert with Jimmy Hart & Missy Hyatt The match starts will Lawler all over Gilbert but due to some outside interference, Eddie has his time to shine. Back and forth they go with nobody staying on top for more than a minute. The hatred these two have for each other is evident. As we head to the end, Lawler is all fired up! He nails Gilbert with the right hand and climbs the middle rope… Lawler drops the strap of his attire…. Jimmy Hart is in the ring…. Lawler drops down and closes in on enemy #1. The ref tries to get in between them… WHOOOSHHHH…. Jimmy Hart has just thrown a fireball at The King. Thank God it seems to have missed both Jerry Lawler and Jerry Calhoun! Calhoun immediately DQ’s Gilbert as Lawler has Jimmy Hart by the throat. WHAM… Lawler lifts Hart up by his neck and slams him to the ground! WHAM… Gilbert attacks Lawler from behind…. Here comes HTM and Valentine…. Here comes Hacksaw Reed and Ron Simmons! BRAWL…. BRAWL…. BRAWL! COMMERCIAL BREAK-WRESTLEWAR PROMO: THANKGIVING NIGHT-MIDSOUTH COLISEUM As we come out of break, Lawler, Reed and Simmons are screaming about what just went down. At first, Lawler is pretty calm as he gives a few good one liners about how Jimmy Hart better take a few lessons on how to throw a fireball from Freddy Krueger. Next, Lawler warned Gilbert that he better not interfere in his USWA Title Match if he knows what is good for him. Reed and Simmons are even more excited now to get their hands on Greg Valentine and HTM! Next, we see a video replay of last week’s brawl between Dutch Mantel and Steve Keirn and Lance Russell hypes up this feud and let’s us all know that these two will face each other on Thanksgiving at WrestleWar! Finally, the Southern Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Jarrett comes to the podium where Lance reminds everyone that last week, Jimmy Hart and the First Family tried to cut off his hair. Jeff Jarrett: (waving a contract in his hand) Jimmy Hart…Are there no bounds that you won’t cross. You and your man Eddie Gilbert just threw away a chance to be the first USWA World Champion. You two are so focused on getting to Jerry Lawler that you can’t see the forest through the trees. No matter what I say, you and your puny brain won’t get that I didn’t attack you with that fireball on Halloween night. But that is not important. What is important is that last week, you and your goons tried to cut off my hair. Just like usual, you failed. Well, I got an offer for you, Mr. Hart! Let’s see if you got any guts! You seem so focused on people’s hair lately so how about I put my Southern Heavyweight title on the line against Eddie Gilbert with one stipulation… Suddenly Jimmy Hart comes out laughing like a hyena while the fans are foaming at the mouth at what Jimmy Hart just tried to do to The King. Lance Russell: You have some nerve coming back out here Jimmy! Jimmy Hart: You got that right Lance. I got a lot of nerve. The First Family and I are not the least bit scared of Lawler… of Hacksaw Butch Reed and Ron Simmons,,,, or of this long-haired hippie boy next to us right now. Things are just getting better and better for My Family tonight. First, two clowns show up from Louisiana and offer us a shot at the UWF tag titles. Then we came inches from putting Lawler out of wrestling forever and now…. you, Jeff Jarrett are going to put your Southern Heavyweight title, a title that you never earned in the first place, up against the rightful champion… my man… Eddie Gilbert. This is like taking candy from a baby. I mean I knew the education down here was lacking but come on…. (Jimmy quickly signs the contract) Jeff Jarrett: Well I think it is pretty dumb to accept a deal without hearing all of the rules, but you heard him Lance. It’ll be me and Eddie Gilbert for the Southern Title on Thanksgiving and if I win, I get to shave your head bald! Jimmy Hart: You get to do WHAT? (Jimmy quickly scans the contract as JJ struts off laughing). Jimmy Hart is heard yelling all the way back to the locker room. MATCH #5 Tarzan Goto with Tojo Yamamota returned from their week suspension as Tarzan destroys Sam Houston with the finish coming from the powerslam. Tojo Yamamota: Lance Russell …. I owe you apology …. I owe all you an apology! Yes, even you Sgt. Slaughter. We owe you apology. Two weeks from now is the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. When my country did so very, very wrong when they attacked Hawaii. Sgt. Slaughter, you have given almost all of your life to protect America. I understand we you angry when I demand respect for myself…. Respect for Tarzan… and most important… respect for Japan. We bombed Hawaii for no reason. Lance Russell: Tojo, I’m not sure what to make of this sudden change but if it’s real, thank you! Tojo: Of course it’s real. I very sorry for Japan’s blowing up Hawaii. What Japan should have done was BLOW UP THIS AWFUL CITY OF MEMPHIS AND ALL YOU STUPID PEOPLE! WHAM… from the back Slaughter nails Tojo. Now we got a huge brawl between Sgt. And Tarzan. Nothing is going to stop this one as Lance just signs off for the week as Sgt. And Goto are killing each other. 23. Looking forward to the new shows.
  24. WHAT A NIGHT.... No Holds Barred: The Movie/The Match. This was one of the most creative things in our game since we started. I just knew that Hogan and Nikita had to win the bout. Then when Debeers walked out I thought we were going to get one of his obnoxious promos but instead we get one of the biggest heel turns our game has ever seen! WOW WOW WOW... Nikita and Debeers going after Hogan. Not sure I can wait for Superclash to see what happens with this one. Chicky Starr needs a better plan against the Iceman... I wonder if that means someone to help him? Like the big start for Brutus vs the Allstars.. I wonder if they also get a better plan! Wow... Still in shock about Nikita... so exciting!
  25. First: Episode #2 Rally enjoyed the Southern feel. You are proving that any promotion in Dawn of War can be awesome... it just depends on the writer. Great job getting me really interested really quickly. Very creative in match # 1 with the "Battle of the Feet." Thanksgiving is shaping up to be a huge night at the Fairgrounds with the 16 Man tournament. I can already expect the unexpected with your shows. I have no idea who you are going to put the title on. Dark Journey seems to have a pretty talented stable forming. Enjoyed Price attacking Cannonball and the visual with the surfboard was great. Really fun 4 corners match with Mando and the grab of the tights getting the title. Great comeback by Mando when Mike Graham talked about his family... and Mando quickly put Mike in his place. Loved seeing the tag tournament in St. Pete. I have only been to two shows in my life. One was in White Plains NY where Andre the Giant beat Sgt. Slaughter and the other was in the Bayfront Center in St. Pete where Dusty and Terry Funk went at it. Such awesome memories. Windham and Kabuki seems like the perfect place to start a huge feud! Can't wait to see the arrival of Gorgeous Jimmy TAG TOURNY IN ST. PETE As I said before, expect the unexpected. I truly didn't think the Rich cousins were leaving with the belt! Loved the appearance of Dixie Dynamite! Episode #3 It seems even Cannonball's song has Price on high alert... costing him the match with Afi... great booking and way to hype up the feud. Awesome segment with Graham and Mando. These two names are big in the area and the sport and is a great way to draw in the old fans. Wow.... Mando goes for the Ki.... yourself comment to Mike. This is going to be WAR! HAHAH... Awesome... Gorgeous Jimmy Powers! And by any means necessary.... NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPS. I find this interesting that we get such a short title reign from the Rich's and it is on TV. I think this is great and goes to show everyone that PWF is going to be full of excitement and chaos! That was all a lot of fun to read!
