  1. NWA releases Md Dog Lefebvre and adds Danny Davis (Mr. X)
  2. Awesome show! The Gentleman's Club was great and is one of my favorite segments in the entire game after just one week. Lord Alfred Hayes and his comments during the Candy Man Match had me laughing out loud! It looks like we might get Slaughter vs the Sheik and Patera vs Valentine. Those would be huge matches for Wrestlemania. Those American vs the Foreign Invader where so hot in the 80's. Perfect booking and Patera vs Valentine might just be the match of the card. Often, Valentine has not gotten the attention he deserves in this games and you have him right where he belongs... near the top. You have me hooked in on this Backlund/Bruno thing. I know wrestlemania has Backlund vs the Superstar in a rematch but the last few weeks has me wondering what is going on. Great booking!
  3. Nice set of house shows. Good job dividing up the roster and hitting more venues. Verne is making the money now. Nikita vs Bravo... great job thinking about locations here. I always forget to do that. I enjoy the Link/Elizabeth thing. It just makes me laugh that when I was like 10, I always argued that wrestling was real. Brody/Hansen vs the Russians... need a video copy of that brawl! As always, enjoyed your work. Thanks
  4. Very well booked! A huge card that does not give to much away before next's week Legendary Showdown. With two title for title matches, I was hooked from the beginning and in the end I am leaving thinking that was an awesome TV show but in reality for NWA Houston, it just added to next week's card! Liking the trio of Dory, Baron and the Sheik. I could almost see some riots happening in the stands on a hot Texas night after they cause some sort of havoc. Youngbloods vs Sullivan and Purple Haze is a great bout! Such a contrast in styles but they would have bumped and sold all over the place for each other. I am beginning to think I wish I had one of this one city promotions. GIves you such an opportunity to progress story lines in a way that would keep your audience on the edge of their seats
  5. NWA sends to Kevin VonErich, Tony Altlas and Rick McGraw to the WWF for Black Bart, Bobby Jaggers and Tim Horner
  6. Fun TV show. I liked Verne warning Koloff in the beginning and then Koloff taking ou out on Greg Gagne at the end. Give credit to Greg for accepting the challenge. Piper and the Fiesta Garen was awesome. Wondering wants next! The Koloffs now have both Hansen and Brody to worry about! Makes this a pretty even fight! Mr. Olympia will make a great TV champ... good pick by the kid in the audience. Your Buddy Landel promo was awesome as usually. Looking forward to Rage in the Cage

Thanks for the pre-show. It really helps keep everything straight. I know we all the shows we produce in a week here, I sometimes get confused.
  8. For weeks Backlund has been my favorite segment of your show but he now has some competition as Fuller at the plantation was priceless. The fun-loving Candy Man might be in some trouble here with KKB. The Islanders attacking the Fantastics is interesting. This one is so big as I can see only one team surviving this one. I am excited that Superstar is getting the rematch at Wrestlemania. I thought it might be Bruno. While Bruno and Backlund in the ring would be awesome, I would hate to lose Bruno at the announce table. His no nonsense one-liners are priceless. Dr.D. vs Santana: WOW! This one could go on and on with the belt going back and fourth. Interested to see what's next for Andre. I give you credit with him. He is difficult to write for as he just crushed everyone and ruins people you have spent time building up. After that Saturday Night Main Event, I am really looking forward to Wrestlemania.

Nice job with this one. I often find it hard to write that last show before the big one as my timing is off. Sometimes, I have nothing to cover and sometimes I got to get through to much stuff. It seems like you are all set. I love mystery partner matches! Looking forward to that one. Tully for Bob is one of the big ones I am looking forward to the most. As is Fuller vs Bass. This is one where the winner could jump up into title contention. You have done a great job of getting us ready for Bock vs Kerry. Really interested seeing which direction you go here. Lawler vs Adonis has been great and it just seems like this one is so personal that it could go on forever!
  10. Really looking forward to rage in the cage. I enjoyed the Verne Gagne and Stanley Blackburn segments. Verne pretending to care about anything but the ratings was great. Blackburn seems a little thin skinned as he suspends Hall and the Hennigs. It will be interesting to see if he lives to regret that decision. Buddy Landel continues to be the one of your best pieces of work every week. You just have a knack for making him hilarious! Rich and Sawyer on regular TV! Love it. I do feel Wildfire got a little stale in real life in Georgia as he seemed to get hemmed into the babyface role. I liked him better in Memphis as you never knew what was coming. It doesn't matter if its the Fiesta Garden or Piper's Pit... they are always fun to read. Fuji better be careful. Hulkster needs to jump over some people here in the AWA to get to where he wants to be and Jumbo might be a leap.
  11. Going back to the TV show, the interview with the Crazy Gang was great. I know you have said on a few occasions that it is not your strong point but every tome you do one, it steals the show. You have so many big stars and while I would love to see Terry Gordy face Texas Red or Bam Bam anytime, I am now really excited to see if Orton can deliver on his promise!
  12. Awesome main event. Sam Houston continues his rise to the top here in defeat. No shame at all in going down to Race in 14 minutes with an injured leg. I am really liking your use of Kevin Sullivan. He is the perfect leader of a heel faction in any promotion during the territory days! That was one evil team... Dory, Baron and The Sheik. They could really cause some chaos in a lights out, unsanctioned match against some top heels. Paul Boesch might be in for a big payday. Baby Bull is going to have to lose that nickname if he keep crushing people! No more Baby! I think you got Houston wrestling down pat! Thanks for another fun show.
  13. NWA sends Tom Prichard to the MidAtlantic for Joel Deaton
  14. Clearly the Show of the Year so far in my mind! The lead is was AWESOME! Backlund again knocked it out of the park with that interview. When you teach an online creative writing class, sign me up. I can just see it all as it is happening. As always, you have the WWF commentators down and Gorilla was a real highlight for me. Am very interested to see what you plan for Andre. He could have held any title he wanted all around the world but only held 6 in his entire career. He was more like a circus character but the canvass is blank here. Great title match! You kept Superstar hot, increased Backlund's heelness and introduced possible the Match of the Year with Bruno coming after the champ! Amazing booking! Simply the best write up of a Battle Royal I have seen in any game I have been a part of! Hate to do this to you buddy, but you have raised the bar so high, I can only imagine what Wrestlemania will be like!
  15. Muldoon better be careful or bring backup! Bruno calling Fuller a used car salesman was great. Crazy Bob Backlund again steals the show! From the attack on Magnum Jerry Allen to his interview about the Superstar. AWESOME! SNME is going to be great! Really interested in the Battle Royal. As a kid, I would skip over the WWF but now it is Must See TV!

Great show as always. Crippler" Rip Oliver and "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley vs. "Mean" Mike Miller and "The Memphis Mafia Man" Johnny Rich w/"Cool" Carl Fergie: This is such a perfect example of your ability to see things in characters that I miss. When I think of Oliver, I always think of a Crippler as the heel and Johnny Rich as the babyface. You see outside the box and always hit it out of the park. Fuller vs Bass... Love it! These two have not gotten a lot of attention of late and they really are tow huge names in 80's Wrestling! I must give credit to Blehschmidt for creating The Movement and you continuing it. They are one of the best creations this game has scene! The basically rules most of the AWA promotions last year and became a National force and now it continues in the USWA. Martel helping Lightfoot is even better than facing him. Good booking here. Karachi Vice vs Harts seems like a Stampede Special. I think this is a big one for your pecking order. Whoever comes out on top jumps up the ladder while the loser might not recover. As long as this game continues, I could watch Adonis and Lawler. I had Adonis once and had trouble writing for him. You obviously don't have that issue! Bock vs Kerry is going to be historic! It is like a fork in the road for the USWA. You can't go wrong with either direction you go but it will shape the USWA for the rest of 1985. The main event would have a TV crowd going wild and you did a nice job of keeping Tully and the Bullet hot. More great booking here! Awesome show as we get closer to the Parade of Champions
  17. NWA adds Mr. Pogo and drops Kim Duk
  18. kevinmcfl replied to kevinmcfl's topic in Dawn of War
    NWA trade block is empty.
  19. Great set of house shows. Nice job splitting the roster. Glad you are keeping Hansen hot after he lost the title. It looks like Tommy Rich is still proving his value as he can sell tickets even in defeat.
  20. Enjoy all the work you do in planning things out and developing characters and angles. I can't stop rushing things. Tag Division has some big and powerful team that lead to some fun matches. Really like Nord and Crusher and Manny and Rude. I like the Falls Count Everywhere Match. Again gives some extra meaning to one of your earlier bouts.
  21. Really enjoyed all the great details in this show! Giving the ring special colors will make NWA Houston stand out to all of the viewers around the country. I give you a lot of credit. You have Kevin Sullivan down pretty good. He is one of my favorites of all time and I have had him on my roster in a few games and I can never do him justice. Awesome job! Thanks for your help getting Baby Bull over. Another thing I struggle at is developing newer guys and you seem to be knocking it out of the park. Such high quality matches from top to bottom. Viewers would be locked in each week!
  22. And there you have... the World Title on a Russian in 1985 automatically makes him the most hated man in wrestling! Will be interesting to see what is next for Hansen. Piper's Pit was great. Like that Link might be Savage's first feud. This is a nice use of Link and I wonder what will happen with Elizabeth. Link seemed very interested by so did Piper. Flair vs Landell. They both might want to slow play this because whoever comes out on top might have to suffer at the hands of Nikita. The Russians vs Hall and Hennig could sell out arenas for months. Your roster is in such a good place that you do not even need title matches to sell out in like 4 arenas a night. Thanks for all the hard work that went into this show! Awesome
  23. NWA adds Steve Simpson and releases Jody Hamilton
  24. Madison Square Garden never disappoints! Pedro seems to be back where he belongs. Volkoff/Slaughter... Perfect ending until you are ready to blow this feud off. This could go on forever and sell tickets each night! Supertstar with a Big win! Keeps him hot for Backlund. Studd seems to be struggling to fit in with Hart and Sunshine. Nice job with the continued build of the super intense crazed Backlund. I thought Andre was going to pin Muldoon to keep all the major players hot but your finish was even better! Good job.
  25. kevinmcfl replied to spaldoni's topic in Programming
Nice card at Freedom Hall as you keep us on our way to Parade of Champions but don't give too much away. Wonder what happened to Buzz Tyler? Nicely balanced card with a little something for everyone including the Martel vs Colon classic babyface bout. And that main event-WOW- 3 major angles hyped at once ad the crowd goes home happy. Well booked!
