AWA World Class Wrestling
What an action packed show! I am really enjoying watching what happens week to week with the Movement. Shaska is a nice addition. I really thought Iceman might be joining too when he came out. Kerry vs Jimmy Garvin even in a battle royal is must see TV I love Mid-card feuds and the Glamour Boys and the HIghway Men is perfect. Just what the babyfaces needed to make it somewhat fair.... BRUISER BRODY. He can take care of the monster heels while the VOnErichs and others go for the titles

Nice set of House Shows! Seeing King King Bundy on the side of good could mean trouble for the heels. Bundy and Wildfire together and it seems as if the tide has turned.

AWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
Haystacks and Kokina makes for a wild brawl and should be a nice feud. Hacksaw seems to need to some big star to come and help him out as he has some bug enemies.

Great card for the people of Toledo. The Bullet is a nice addition here. I am a huge Southern Wrestling fan and bringing some mayhem to the traditional AWA territory is awesome.

AWA ALL-STAR WRESTLING
JULY 28th A montage of wrestling and rodeo falls set to music introduces the show. From peak to peak and valley to valley we welcome you Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling. I am Cowboy Bob Tallman and we are coming to you tonight from the Colorado State fairgrounds in Pueblo, Colorado. With me tonight is the President of Rocky Mountain Wrestling, the Lawman, Don Slatton. Don, what a show they had down in Albuquerque last Monday. Lawman: That’s right Cowboy and before we get to the ring tonight, we must take a look at the video tape. VIDEO MATCH: Mike VonErich vs Eric Embry: If Embry wins, VonErich gets 10 lashes with a Bull Rope. If VonErich wins, he and a partner of his choice get a Rocky Mountain Tag Title Match We pick the match up where Eric Embry seems to be having his way with Mike VonErich. He is basically tossing the young Von Erich from pillar to post and we are seeing and hearing Ron Bass warming up that bull-rope! It gets to the point where Embry is just toying with his opponent. The crowd begins to stir as a man in a long coat and big cowboy hat over his eyes is heading to the ring. He comes right up behind Bass and drops the coat and hat. It is none other than Gentleman Chris Adams! Wham… Superkick to the head of Bass and he is down. Embry sees this and the look of shock on his face is priceless. He can’t believe Adams is here. Mike Von Erich from behind…. Rolls up Embry… 1….2….3. When the video is over, we see Blackjack Mulligan, Mike VonErich and Chris Adams at the interview desk. Mulligan: Oh what a night it was in Albuquerque. Two weeks ago we heard that snot-nosed punk, Eric Embry, say disgusting things about David VonErich and Fritz. All it took was one phone call and Chris was on his way. Chris Adams: That’s right Blackjack. The VonErichs gave me almost everything I have in this business. Kevin brought me over here from Britain and ever sense then they have had my back. Well now it was my chance to return the favor. Knocking Ron Bass out was a great feeling but seeing Embry’s shoulders pinned to the mat was even better. Mike VonErich: That pin of Embry was only the beginning. This week Blackjack, Chris and myself are going to take out Bass, Embry and that so-called manager of their Sonny King in Denver in a Steel Cage Match and then in two weeks it will be Chris and myself taking those Rocky Mountain tag belts off them outlaws in the Salt Palace in Utah! Cowboy Bob: Let’s get to the ring for our first match. MATCH: Sweet Brown Sugar defeats Lee Mathews with the Missile Dropkick As soon as the match ends, we see Jos Leduc hit the ring like a house afire and is brawling with Sugar all over the floor. Eventually the officials and jobbers rush the ring and separate the two. This is the second week in a row that Sugar was attacked. Last week was by Ciclon Negro and this week was by Leduc. The Lawman grabs Sugar for a quick interview to see if he knows what that was all about and Sugar has no idea but something is going on as he is getting attacked by people he had no real previous problems with. This week Sugar asks the Lawman for a match with Leduc and again his wish is granted as it will be Sweet Brown Sugar vs Jos Leduc in the Denver Auditorium. COMMERCIAL Promos for Monday’s show in The Denver Auditorium MATCH: The Samoans (Sakalia & Tui) beat Buck Homestead & Cal Gordon Sakalia and Tui have the fans excited with Sakalia’s power and Tui’s high flying arsenal. The end comes when Sakalia hits a powerslam on Gordon and then tags in Tui for the the Top Rope Death Leap. At the post-match interview, we find out that nothing was settled last week in Cheyenne between the Samoans and the Mountain Men (Rex & Link) and that the two will meet in a 5 match series over the next few weeks with the winner getting a tag title shot against whoever the champions may be at that time. Another stipulation to this series is that the winner of each match gets to name the stipulations for the next match. The first round will take place this week in Denver. MATCH: Grizzly Boon vs Dean Hos This match ends in under a minute as the 440 pound Boone just crushes Hos. The end came with a Middle Rope Giant Splash and the ref could have counted to a 100. Cowboy Bob is not sure what to make of Boone as he seems to be all business but pays no attention to the fans or the interview desk. He just picks up the big club he carried to the ring and heads to the locker room. Cowboy Bob: Wow, Boone is a Mountain of a Man and I hope he is on the side of good or Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling might never be the same. COMMERCIAL Promos for Monday’s show in The Denver Auditorium When we come out of break, Bass and Embry along with their manager, Sonny King, are at the interview desk. Sonny King: First of all, Slatton, I have a bone to pick with you. You might think you are the Lawman but how dare you put me in a match this week in Denver against Mulligan, Adams and that spoiled brat, Mike Von Useless. Lawman Don: First of all, you don’t call the shots around here. You want to call yourself a manager, Stop interfering in matches and manage your two bandits behind me. When you interfere, I see you as a wrestler and wrestler’s wrestle! Good luck in Denver! Ron Bass: Luck… we don’t need luck. We are the Rocky Mountain Tag Champions. Cowboy Bob Tallman: And Blackjack Mulligan is 6’9 and he is as mad as rattlesnake sunning himself on a cactus. He saw that you two were toying with Mike VonErich and inflicting unnecessary punishment on the youngster. Eric Embry: Well at least we did it in the ring. What was that sneak attack by Chris Adams. The only thing worse that a VonErich is a friend of a VonErich. Adams…. Just wait till Denver when we drop you on your big, stuck-up English head! You cost me a win against Mikey and we didn’t get to give him the 10 lashes his father shouldn’t have given him years ago. Cowboy Bob: Not sure what you are complaining about Embry. You got beat fair and square as “Mikey” seemed to hog tie you right in the center of the ring. MATCH: Ciclon Negro defeats Rick McGraw after a punch with a roll of quarters Ciclon refuses a post-match interview as the Lawman still wants to get to the bottom of what happened last week we he attacked Sweet Brown Sugar. MATCH: Hillbilly Jim defeats Norman Lownd with a Bearhug. During the match Ernie Ladd comes to the interview desk where we find out that it will be Ladd vs Hillbilly Jim this Monday in Denver. Ernie Ladd: Listen up Don Slatten, I am getting sick and tired of chasing Wahoo McDaniel around and every time I show up, he is nowhere to be found. Now this Monday in Denver, I know I am in the auditorium and I know Wahoo is also there defending the Rocky Mountain Title against Ox Baker. Now Ox is a quality competitor and if he hits that Heart Punch that drunk Injun will be visiting the big spirit in the sky but what am I doing wrasstlin this stupid, grinning hillbilly for. I know he is a big ol country bumpkin but come on already. I am Ernie Ladd! I can’t wait to wipe that grin off his face by sticking these big size 22 boots right in his teeth. Hopefully after Monday, when you can’t tell Hillbilly Jim from the roadkill he was eaten for lunch, I will get my title shot! COMMERCIAL Promos for Monday’s show in The Denver Auditorium MATCH: Ox Baker defeats Bradley Rose with the Heart Punch Ox Baker hypes up his Rocky Mountain Title shot for this Monday. Ox Baker: Let me tell you a story… two years ago, I was down in Amarillo, Texas in the Sports Arena. It was me and Wahoo McDaniel for the Southwest Title. Before the match… Wahoo paid off two goons to Pearl Harbor me and take my legs out. I was hurt so bad, I laid in the hospital bed and the doctor told me I would never wrestle again. I started to feel bad for myself and then I looked down at this huge right hand of mine and remembered, I don’t fight with my legs. I tape up this big fist and go right for the heart. Monday night is my revenge, and nobody is stopping me from getting to the ring this Monday night. And when Ox hits that Heart Punch and Wahoo never gets up again, you all understand why! Cowboy Bob: Wow… few things in this world are scarier then Ox Baker and one of them is an Angry Ox Baker. Wahoo better be at his best. Cowboy Bob Tallman: Well folks, tonight’s wild rodeo has come to a close. See you next time on AWA Rocky Mountain All-Star Wrestling. So long from Pueblo!

Interesting card. Your top 3 seemed to remain the same with TA, Snuka and Backlund but not Steamboat, Rhodes and Orndorff are here! Can't wait to see what is next

AWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
Love it when Giant heels are acting as the puppet for someone else like you have with Haystacks and Sammartino and Gene has with Landell and Hercules. I like Muraco as a baby face. He is a good friend for Pez, Arn doing double duty and the match with Hacksaw will be awesome. Better watch out for Iceman!

American Wrestling Association
Nice set of show here. I really like Dusek with Solie. Looking forward to Rich and Race again. The car gimmick really works in Detroit. This could really help you going forward as so many great names in one tournament. This could lead to rematches and a few feuds.

AWA Continental Championship Wrestling
Great all-around card. That main event was awesome. Landell, Madril and Herc are in complete control in CCW! Without Armstrong, I can't wait to see which baby face takes over the fight.

TRADE BLOCK
All-Star adds the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering. Can do Ellering by himself if anyone is interested

Your back and forth between Pratt and RPG is Priceless! Through in what you did tonight with WIldfire and Landell + The Fiesta Garden with Street invading and this might be my favorite show in the game so far. Thanks for all the hard work. I know interviews are hard to write.

Great show here for the people in Memphis. Tough night for Steve O but I love how his nickname is increasing his role as a heel. Austin with the quick win. I wonder if this just means bigger things for Tully. I enjoyed your undercard and it just goes to the point that you have a stacked Tag Division. Kansas Jayhawks vs the Cowboys was my favorite match of the early card. The creativity of the Southern Tag title match made it really fun. No matter how old Wrestling II, he is a STAR under that mask! Atlas vs Ayala is a brawl where it doesn't matter who wins and they both would be the worse for wear and fans would watch the rematch any day of the week. Stasiak made the babyface turn of Decimation easy! Nice work. Terry Funk is a STAR and his heel-ness is amazing! Terry vs Tito has turned into Terry vs Tito vs Tully.... CANT WAIT! Now that TNT is focused on the old Memphis territory, it is only a matter of time until Lawler takes over. The main event may be the beginning!

AWA ALL-STAR WRESTLING
JULY 21, 1984 Music intro with a montage of all the stars of Stampede Wrestling past and present is shown. Ed Whalen: I am Ed Whalen and welcome to another edition of Stampede All-Star Wrestling coming to you from the CHCT Studies in downtown Calgary. We have a ring a ding dong dandy of a show for you today as we are going to be seeing many of the highlights from the major show this past Monday in the Sales Pavilion in Edmonton. First, we must start with some highlights from the 20 Man Battle Royal where the inner gets an AWA World Title shot on August 4th against Ted Dibiase right here in the Corral. VIDEO: 20 MAN BATTLE ROYAL Let’s just get to the last three who were left… Nicolai Volkov, Bad News Allen and Nikita Koloff. These could be the 3 most hated men in Calgary right now and to the shock of some who remember the riot of 83, the crowd seems to be behind Bad News. As the Russians double-team him, it doesn’t look good for the lone wolf. WHAM… Enzuigiri Kick by Bad News on Volkoff and he tumbles over the top rope! Nicolai who is still by the ring takes a swipe at the leg of Allen and Bad News turns to him. WHAM… Russian Sickle on Allen and he tumbles to the floor. WINNER: Nikita Koloff After the video is over we see an irate Bad News Allen who is fuming about the interference of one Nicolai Volkoff and he is guaranteeing revenge this Monday right here in the Corral. The fans are put in a bad spot as they are left to choose between the hated Russian or the man that nearly ended professional wrestling here in Calgary. Not that he was trying to win them over, but Bad News made a good point when he said he doesn’t care what others think and that he does what is right for Bad News and right not hurting a Russian seems like it is the right thing to do. IN-STUDIO MATCH: Ray Stevens defeats Tom Millison with the Brainbuster With a quick interview, Stevens is angry over the actions of all the heels here in Stampede and basically declares war on everyone. (Commercials) Promos for Monday’s show in Calgary Ed Whalen: The conflict between Bad News Allen and the Russians was not the only shocking event to come out of the Sales Pavillion. I warn you that what you are about to see is somewhat disturbing. VIDEO MATCH: Rick Martel vs Curt Hennig Rick Martel defeated Curt Hennig for the second straight time. This time Bobby Heenan had tossed and object to Hennig while the ref was down but it was caught by Martel who clobbered Hennig for the win. Heenan, obviously frustrated starts frantically signaling to the back. As Rick Martel is celebrating his victory, the crowd gasps as it is none other than…. Paul Orndorff…. Orndorff rushes to the ring and attacks while Martel’s back is turned. Orndorff really gives it to Martel and with the help of Hennig we see this attack end in a nasty Spike Piledriver on a Steel Chair. The British Bulldogs rush the ring for the save but it is far too late. When the video ends, an emotional Ed Whalen announces that Martel suffered severe neck injuries and will be out of action for quite some time. He reminds us that in recent weeks, Bobby Heenan and his Family has taken out Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Rick Martel. Dynamite Kid, Davey Boy Smith and Bret Hart come out and basically declare war on The Family. IN STUDIO MATCH: The Road Warriors with Ellering crush Cal Mansun & Hutch Thomas It is rare to see the AWA Champs wrestle on TV but they got right down to business and pummeled the two jobbers for about 2 minutes with power move after power move. Animal & Hawk seemed like they meant business here and wanted to remind the fans just how devastating they are. It is at the interview desk that we understand why they are so angry. It seems like their title match last week against Dr. Death & Manny Fernandez ended in a draw. Ed Whalen: Well, people around the wrestling world are wondering if you were lucky to escape with your titles. Animal: Shut up Whalen! The Road Warriors are never lucky. Dr. Death & Manny Fernandez know they were in the fight of their life and I guarantee the next time, they will be spending time in a hospital. Tell um Hawk. Hawk: Weeelllllll! Last week in Edmonton we cracked the skulls of Williams & Fernandez and I guess this time we will have to break their heads. That’s fine as Animal and I love breaking things… especially, the heads of our opponents. Ed Whalen cautiously lets the fans know that the Road Warriors will again be facing Williams and Fernandez tomorrow night in Calgary. (Commercials) Promos for Monday’s show in Calgary Ed Whalen: The action in Edmonton continued to shock us all last Monday night. Take a look at this. VIDEO MATCH: Jim Neidart & 2 Mystery Partners vs Sheik Slaughter, Mr. Pogo & Gama Singh Neidhart’s newest members of the Commonwealth turned out to be the Sheepherders which shocked the crowd but when they say the Luke and Butch came out waving the Commonwealth flag and they fought like wild dogs against the Sheiks, the crowd quickly forgot about what they didn’t like about the Sheepherders and remembered that these two will leave nothing in the tank and battle to the end. The match ended in a Double DQ as the two teams brawled all over the arena. After the video, Neidhart and the Sheepherders are at the interview desk where Whalen expressed his surprise at Neidhart’s choice of teammates. Jim Neidhart: When Slaughter joined Sheik Adnan Al Kassie all bets were off and I knew I needed partners who would fight to the bitter end. Luke Williams and Butch Miller basically yelled, screamed and shook through the entire interview about how the Sheiks disgust them and they will do anything to put an end to their time here in Stampede. IN-STUDIO MATCH: Rick McGraw defeats Verlon Biggs with a Powerslam (Commercials) Promos for Monday’s show in Calgary IN-STUDIO MATCH: The British Bulldogs defeat Bob Sweetan & Ox Baker by DQ as Sweetan brought a chair into the ring. After the match, Stu Hart is at the interview desk hyping up the show in Calgary when all of a sudden, Bobby Heenan and “The Family” (Ric Flair, Curt Hennig & Paul Orndorff) interrupt. Bobby Heenan: Well Stu Hart… it must be hard to be you. I mean running a wrestling promotion where your son holds a championship that you know he doesn’t deserve. I mean, even all you humanoids who were in Edmonton last week saw how easily the Nature Boy beat Bret Hart. Ric Flair: Whoooo. They say to be the best, you got to beat the best. Well in one week I beat your son and now you can’t help but give me that North American Title shot! Stu Hart: As I told you two last week… Ric Flair will get a title shot if …. And I mean if… he deserves one. One lucky win doesn’t get you a title shot. Ric Flair: Hey… Ric Flair doesn’t need luck. I am the Rolex Waering, First Class Flying king of this sport. I beat Bret and now you say I need to earn a shot. Stu Hart: That’s right. Earn it and you will get it. This angers Flair and he gets in the face of Hart and shoves him. WHAM… from out of nowhere comes Bret Hart and the Bulldogs attack and the brawl is on. This time, the emotions of seeing his father get pushed helps Bret get over the top and as we head to break, we see Flair on the floor. The screen will fade to black as we see The Family vs Stu Hart’s Dungeon in a chaotic fight all over the studio. Ed Whalen: Sorry fans but we are out of time. So, in the meantime and in the in-between time… that’s it, another edition of Stampede Wrestling.

AWA Continental Championship Wrestling
Very exciting and realistic set of house shows. Love how you have the same card for the entire week. The Southern Street Fight would have been awesome to watch. Also like the attack of Hercules on Street. Is Madril going to become kind of the ring leader of that heel group?
-
American Wrestling Association
Nice set of shows. Hacksaw with the 2x4 to Sawyer. Would love to see a long feud between those 2. Like the creativity here with matches like Capture the Flag. Nice to see Ted Allen having some success and not rushing the young Shawn Michaels in Middleton. Also like the beginnings of Michaels and Jannetty in the 6 Man tag match
-
AWA World Class Wrestling
Love the cockiness you are capturing with Bockwinkel. Studd and Windham should be a great match. The Movement is a really interesting group as we watch to see not only them go after opponents but to see they with internal issues. Ray and LeRoy will be back!

AWA Georgia Championship Wrestling
Like the build of Haystacks here and wondering what will become of Hacksaw and Iceman

Pacific Coast Wrestling
Fun show. I like Matt Borne with Dick Slater. Can Piper finally be the one to take down the Playboy?

Welcome back! Nice to see Backlund and Snuka still going at it. Wonder if Backlund comes out on top if Magnum is next up as he just seems to win!
