  1. I chose the 1989 incarnation of the Red Bull Army - Salman Hashimikov and Victor Zangiev. Now before anybody protests- I am aware they only had about 25 matches as a tag team. However each wrestler had barely 50 matches total in their careers. So feel free to protest.
  2. eh... I go Riki Choshu 1988
  3. this current pick is part of the trade offer, i'll give it like an hour then make my pick if i dont hear back?
  4. Sent my trade proposal to Lee Casebolt.

  7. I asked with them specifically in mind. Give me Inoki....1988 version.
  8. Behschmidt is up . Sorry just got home from a long work day followed by a longer happy hour
  9. 1989 Inoki and Fujinami (from their run against Bigelow and Vader)
  10. In my post above I meant would samaya be Eligible for examble
  11. Hypothetically, Can we draft talent that was inactive or part or all of the 4 years but wrestled before and after the the time period so like is Samantha eligible for example? Do we need to draft managers? For tag teams is there a minimum number of matches they had to have had together? Can we draft 6 man teams?
  12. Jetlag you're up
  13. my original plan was pick Lawler in the second round and have Lawler finally win the world championship (the real world championship not the AWA or World Class) off of Ric Flair in Memphis after 15 years of chasing the title..... but Lawler is gone so I've got to pivot.
  14. Nah 2002 was the year he came back with a hell of a return match after being out for nearly a knee replacement surgery at the age of 34, and then got hurt again in his return match. Didn't come back until like July and by the end of the year they were doing a lot of 6 mans building the Akiyama feud.
  15. Omega vs Ibushi can sell out Osaka or Ryoguku Kokugikan sometime in the spring. (Is Ibushi still banned from Ryoguku Kokugikan or was that another building in Tokyo he and Omega got banned from?) I don't think if they ran Jericho vs Omega in the spring as a headliner it sells out 8-12,000 in Japan. However I would think running a Jericho vs Omega return match could sell out a 8,000 seat venue in cenrtain parts of the US, Canada, and the UK. So just thinking of how this might play out, run the Jericho vs Omega on the undercard at the Dome, at the least it bumps foreign press coverage of the show maybe even bumps foreign subscriptions for the month of January. Run Omega vs Ibushi as the main event for one of the big shows in the spring, run the return match to Jericho vs Omega in the US or Canada which I would expect to do at least triple the attendance of Cody vs Okada.
  16. Some Kobashi matches for years you don't have- 1994- vs Dr Death 9/3 or w/ Misawa vs HDA 5/21 2002- w/ Misawa vs Akiyama and Nagata 2/17 (Kobashi no sells total knee) 2007- w/ Takayama vs Misawa and Akiyama 12/2 (Kobashi no sells cancer, possibly my favorite match of all time) 2008 - Team Kobashi vs Kensuke Office Elimination Match 8/17
  17. This Flair 30 for 30 is fucking awesome. Nothing you haven't heard before but very well done, basically imagine if an RF shoot had been done by professionals.
  18. Im not picking where my show is until after the 2nd or 3rd round. Ive got Flair which means I can run a show in the South, the Midwest, the west coast, Japan, The Mid Atlantic, Texas, etc. I can go pretty much anywhere but the Northeast. So If possible Im waiting to pick my shoes location based on my roster if thats ok.
  19. Hey send the post above as a private message or an email
  20. With the 3rd pick I select Ric Flair - 1989
  21. Exactly. I think its pretty well booked show. They've done a great job building towards Naito's title win. I look at Jericho's appearance as one of those side show special attractions that make the Dome special. The 3 matches announced on the undercard I see as solid opportunities to build for the future.
  22. joeg replied to PeteF3's topic in WWE
Yep. I've seen him in person a few times. He was never the best guy on the card when I saw him live.
