Dark Side of the Ring
I don't think there was anything groundbreaking revealed in the Road Warriors episode, but it was an enjoyable episode with a sombre ending. WWF giving Hawk a drunk gimmick was a disgusting move.

Joseph Montecillo Video Essays
Really enjoyed the Bryan video. The hour flew by and I can't disagree with anything presented in the video, Bryan's the GOAT for sure.

[1991-05-24-AJPW-Super Power Series] Jumbo Tsuruta vs Kenta Kobashi
It's a damn shame that this is clipped. Kobashi isn't on stablemates Misawa or Kawada's level yet, but he's so close to getting a win over the champ. I don't how Jumbo wasn't concussed from taking that bulldog on the floor. Kobashi hits a moonsault early and he lands many other convincing nearfalls. I can't give this a rating as we are missing over half the match, but if the first half was as good as the second, then this would probably be my AJPW singles MOTY.

[1991-04-18-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Mitsuharu Misawa vs Jumbo Tsuruta
Misawa has grown a lot since their last encounter. He's able to hold his own and barrages Jumbo with elbows. They build on the finish of their last match by having Misawa trying to get the win by countering Jumbo's finish with a cross body. It doesn't work this time, and when he goes to counter it again, Jumbo is prepared and he launches Misawa faces first into the turnbuckle mid-counter. It's a nasty spot and it's the kind of ongoing storytelling I want in my wrestling. This isn't as good as their '90 match, as there's a bit too much downtime and they loses some steam mid-way through the match, but Jumbo facing Misawa is still well worth a watch in any capacity. ★★★★

[1991-08-18-AJPW-Summer Action Series II] Adbullah the Butcher vs Yoshinari Ogawa
I'd like to imagine young Ogawa being all giddy after being told that he's going to have a chance to hone his skills by being a given a singles match with a true Japanese legend, only for him to be battered and bloodied by Adbullah The Butcher in four minutes. Ogawa gets just two punches in. This shows that Abby could get the most out of nothing. Watching him take a second to give a menacing look before he finishes Ogawa off with an elbow jumps shows why the Japanese crowds were enamoured with him for so long. As far as pure squashes goes, this was very entertaining. ★★¾

[1991-12-02-AJPW-Real World Tag League] Andre the Giant & Giant Baba vs Mitsuharu Misawa & Toshiaki Kawada
Andre mixing it up with the likes of Misawa and Kawada is a bizarre sight! He's clearly in a lot of pain and cannot take bumps or run the ropes. The only thing resembling a bump he takes is when he misses his elbow drop, although I'm hard press to call it an actual bump, it's heartbreaking stuff. Thankfully, Baba is slightly agile and is able to carry this one for his team. He works a slow exchange with Kawada to open the match up and it works surprisingly well. He even rolls Kawada up with a school boy! The crowd do not care about the giant's workrate and pop big time for them. They know how to use their star power and charisma to pop the crowd and not their bodies. This was a fun watch, all things considered. ★★¾

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
That has to be one of the shortest PPVs they've done in a while. The whole show was a breeze to sit through, even with no standout matches.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
OTIS! Crap finish though. AJ clearly threw the briefcase to Otis.
-
WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
Yeah, Asuka kicking Corbin made zero sense. Cole's commentary was so lifeless and added nothing. Can't see this going for another half hour.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
This has started to lose my attention now that they have made it to the ring. Those ladder sound effects are terrible.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
Vince looks like death.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
Otis has been the highlight of this match so far. I'm definitely enjoying this so far, glad we got this instead of two traditional MITB matches.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
MITB time. This going to be amazing or utter shite.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
That picked up in the last few minutes, right after the top rope German. Not a fan of Drew counting down before going for his finish though.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
Yeah, Rollins/Mcintyre isn't doing much for me either. Think I prefered Rollins best when he was a IC level babyface who didn't post stupid shit on Twitter.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
Wish we had a like button on this site for posts like this. They're doing Wyatt/Strowman way too soon. Neither guy can afford to lose this. I think Bray's going to turn into The Fiend mid match.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
I'll give R-Truth credit, that match/segment was way more entertaining than it had any right to be. Bayley/Tamina went on far too long though. Can't believe Tamina is still employed. She has to be one of the longest serving female talent, right?

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
Opening match was fun for what it was. MVP vs R-Truth next. At least they're getting this out the way early.
-
WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
All true, but if you're going to watch a throwaway match, it might as well have Cesaro in it. Pretty sure Jeff is only getting a push to stop him from joining Matt in AEW.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
Was that the first time WWE have actually acknowledged COVID-19 by name?
-
WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
If I knew Cesaro would be wrestling on the pre show, I wouldn't skip it. He's having a decent match with Jeff Hardy right now.

WWE Money in the Bank : what the world is not watching
Actually looking forward to this as there's nothing else on and I'm curious to see how the MITB matches will play out. I've been burnt on the traditional MITB matches for a few years now.

[1991-05-19-WCW-Superbrawl I] Sting & Lex Luger vs Rick & Scott Steiner
This is the spotfest that people claim that the Steiners match at the WCW/NJPW Dome show is. We great some great spots in this rare faces vs faces tag match. Luger was the weak link. He looked lost out there and even fumbled a few spots. The Steiners continue to be the highlight of my WCW viewing. Fun stuff that doesn't outwear it's welcome. ★★★½

[1991-01-26-AJPW-New Year Giant Series] Mitsuharu Misawa vs Akira Taue
Super fun sprint that opens with Misawa absolutely laying into Taue. Taue reminds me of the younger guy who complains about his generation to gain points with the older crowd, and Misawa ain't having any of that. After Taue hits a comeback and kicks out of the vanilla Tiger Driver, Misawa debuts the new Tiger Driver '91 for the win. ★★★½

[1991-08-10-NJPW-G1 Climax] Riki Choshu vs Shinya Hashimoto
This is exactly what I want out of my Choshu matches. It's short, to-the-point and incredibly explosive. Choshu rushing Big Hash with a lariat was a cool way to start the match. Choshu sells his ass off for Hashimoto, but still looks like a total boss whilst doing so. I'm surprised this didn't make the yearbook. ★★★½
