  1. That German made me cringe. Can't tell if Bryan is legit hurt or not.
  2. I disagree. Cena's been out of the picture so long any match he's in feels like a big deal. I doubt it's going to do anything to help The Fiend at this point though.
  3. I'll be watching this live as I have nothing else to do. Looks like a solid yet uninspired card. Being nearly a month out of the loop with WWE programming, I have no idea why Drew Gulak and Daniel Bryan having a PPV match, but I know it's going to rule.
  4. The way the pre-determined world of pro-wrestling generates emotion out of real-life situations is one of the reasons I love it so much. Flair is about to close the book on his legendary career (we can ignore TNA) and there's no doubt that the tears these two shed aren't genuine. There's still a great match to found here. Michaels takes some nasty bumps and he's not afraid to roughhouse the 59 year old Flair. There's little moments that make this match so special, like Flair finally hitting the crossbody of the top rope after 40 years of getting press slammed whenever he attempted it. Flair resorting to his dirty tricks to try and keep his career was another highlight. The result to this might of been obvious, but these legends have the ability to keep you guessing and you want to believe that this isn't the end of the Nature Boy. Even with the melodrama, this is still a top 10 'Mania match for me. ★★★★½
  5. I haven't kept up to date with Raw (or any WWE TV for that matter) for months now, so I'm going to try and keep up to date by watching the highlights on Youtube. Because fuck spending 5+ hours every week trying to keep up with this shit! Raw looked decent. The Andrade/Humberto match did more for everyone involved than their match at the Rumble pre-show. Although Humberto not getting the title of Andrade's suspension shows that WWE aren't too high on him, it did give him a bit more depth and proved he wasn't just a pretty boy babyface. I'm excited for Mcintrye/Lesnar if they can keep Drew fresh over the next three months. I'll never forget what they done to Lynch after winning the Rumble last year. The best part was definitely the Edge/Orton stuff. The tension they got milking the crowd with the chair stuff was excellent. I loved the shot of Edge's arm shaking after eating the RKO. I've never been over huge on Edge as a in-ring guy, but he feels like a huge deal and I'm looking forward to him working with some of the newer guys that have came around since his 2011 retirement.
  6. Decent show. It dragged, but that's to be expected for a card with two Rumbles on it. They should seriously consider doing it over two nights. Match of the night goes to the men's Rumble, followed by Bryan/Wyatt. MVP has to be Lesnar being consistently entertaining eliminating nearly half the competition.
  7. Great match, that. Mcintyre felt like a huge star.
  8. Edge's return was incredible. Guy looks in great shape and I'd never thought we'd see him wrestling again.
  9. Mcintyre eliminating Lesnar was a star making moment. The camera panning out to the crowd freaking out was awesome.
  10. This has been fun, but Cain has to be coming out soon.
  11. It will be interesting to see where this Lesnar thing goes. It's also cool to see him work with guys we would never usually see him with, albeit briefly.
  12. That's true. It was either Edge or Christian who said they thought the second TLC match was a dud because they couldn't hear the crowd as they weren't used to the huge arenas. I have no idea what the point of the Street Profits are.
  13. Bryan's definitely safer in WWE. He seems like the kind of guy who would happily turn his brain to mush if it means he could get six stars from Big Dave. Asuka/Lynch had a cool finish, but this show has been going on way too long.
  14. It's nearly 2.30am here and despite fatigue starting to set in, I thought these two put in a great effort. Some interesting spots. Wonder where they go with the Bryan stuff.
  15. Good to see they've finally gotten rid of the red light.
  16. The match placement certainly didn't help, but that was crap. Lacey does not work as a face.
  17. I argee with you on some points. The last third was full of filler entrants. I don't think they have a deep enough women's division to pack out a full Rumble. A 20 women match would be more ideal, but it would go against their whole women's revolution thing if they are short changing them on the Rumble match.
  18. I'm fine with that, but I'm hoping Charlotte gets an interesting opponent at Wrestlemania. Easily the best women's Rumble.
  19. Hoping Shayna gets this. I love how she's eliminating everyone. The stare down with Charlotte was cool.
  20. Legit thought Rico was about to return. Santinois is brilliant, but this is a bit tone deaf.
  21. I'm actually enjoying this a lot. A tad lacking in star power, but they are keeping it interesting. Seeing the crowd egg on Naomi was wholesome as fuck. Great atheletism. Beth's got a brutal cut on the back of her head.
  22. Good to see that Kelly Kelly still can't run the ropes...
  23. I was just thinking that. Great facials and her interactions with Bliss and Tamina were particularly brilliant.
  24. This feels much better than the other Women's Rumbles. That Otis spot was fantastic. I think he's going to be a huge star.
  25. Yeah, these are done to death. Baron Corbin might just be my least favourite wrestler. Guy makes me embarrassed to call myself a wrestling fan when he's cutting a promo and bores me to death when he fights. That toliet spot was creative, at least.
