Dave Meltzer stuff
This. I've been watching for 15 years and can enjoy anything from modern PWG to random Buddy Rose matches, as long as I'm having fun I don't mind where it's from.

The Mae Young Classic
I discovered Viper in Stardom earlier this year as well, and firmly agree she is 1000% awesome.

NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III
I like Mauro. The low point for me was the idea of a McIntyre/Cole title match coming up. That sounds pretty potentially dire to me.

I know the issues with the "Broken" trademark created problems, but it still seems crazy how much WWE has cooled the Hardys off.

British pantomime and UK indies actually having heel heat
I know it's not for everyone stylistically, but CHIKARA works hard to actually define their heels and get them heat. Then again, they have a fair amount of British influence so it could be part of the same root factor.

The Swagger cash in basically killed the WHC as anything resembling an important belt. Not entirely Swagger's fault, just a lot of things going wrong all at once.

WCW ongoing thread
I've just watched his stuff from '84 to '88... I mean yes, he's much better than he'd be in WCW, but I still just don't care for him, and I don't think he'd have been pushed so prominently without his connections. His best time was definitely teaming with Valentine.

WCW ongoing thread
The major upside being, most likely nobody would have hired Brutus Beefcake.

WCW ongoing thread
Well, that really depends. Assuming Bischoff is still in charge he would probably still be a major hound for anyone WWF made famous, and Savage still wouldn't want to be stuck in the booth so there's a good chance that would have still happened. And now I'm wondering what the wrestling world looks like if Savage stepped into the same role Hogan did in '94...

WCW ongoing thread
Early WCW is so all over the place. I will agree that the first half of '92 with Vader and DA running wild is probably my favorite WCW period though.

Would that make Angle and Bischoff secret brothers?

In fairness, when was the last time Kurt was actually funny? 2002?

Your first memory of Pro Wrestling
Got into wrestling later than many. Must have been 14 when I turned on UPN and was a snippet of the HHH/Jericho feud in 2002. I remember Jericho putting HHH in the Walls on top of the announce table as commentary screamed that Triple H's leg was hanging by a thread, and I remember thinking if it had been hanging by a thread before it would definitely be snapped after that attack. I didn't think it was real at any point, but just in terms of the story. I turned it off and didn't think about it much until about a year later when I got into Smackdown in a big way at the behest of my high school friends.

G-1 Climax 27
I feel like it's only a slog if you try to watch every match. I cherry pick and usually have a pretty good time.

G-1 Climax 27
I feel like Omega is finally gonna get his win over Okada here. I could see Okada still going on to win the whole thing and then picking Omega for Wrestle Kingdom, since they would be even at 1-1-1 in that scenario.

WWE Money In The Bank 2017
I've got to second this. I don't like to see people banned but at some point, if there's a guy making every conversation unpleasant, you kind of start hoping. As for MITB, the thing that I'm thinking most about is the end of the women's match. Part of me says it should work theoretically. Having a wimpy valet grab an undeserving win for a heel is a classic tactic. But in reality, it does feel like the wrong time to make a move like that. Someone called it tone deaf and that's probably the best way to put it.

Best Squash Match ever?
In terms of squashes involving actual jobbers, I love Strike Force vs. Steve Lombardi and Tom Stone from the 10/25/87 episode of WWF Challenge. Thought it was fantastic for what it was.

Quarterly Feel Good Poll June 2017
I'm sure my answers are very eclectic, but why not? Current favorite wrestler to watch: Juan Francisco de Coronado, out of CHIKARA, has been beyond great recently. Last fun match you saw: Da Mack vs. Bobby Gunns, Loser Leaves Town 6/2/17 wXw We Love Wrestling Tour Hamburg II Wrestler you want to see more of: Merlok, also out of CHIKARA. Sue me, he's awesome. Last live show attended (if applicable/different from last time you answered): AAW Take No Prisoners 5/6/17 Match you're most looking forward to watching: Matt Riddle vs. Hallowicked, 6/18 CHIKARA Johnny Kidd Invitational Last fun interview/promo you saw: Bobby Gunns implying that he had sex with Da Mack's girlfriend while he was meeting Triple H at the Cruiserweight Classic. Last interesting thing you read about wrestling: Probably something Loss said about WWE not making megastars anymore in order to play it safe. Most fun you've had watching wrestling lately: Watching Heenan/Monsoon segments off of '87 Prime Time. God those guys were fun. Favorite thing about the wrestling landscape in the past three months (if you live in the past, then go with your past three months of time-traveling): Return of Lucha Underground.

Most Shocking Title Changes
Too bad too, they had actually done a great job of building up Bully/Hogan. Even bearing that in mind, Sabin was a totally random choice and it really messed up their momentum coming off a strong 2012 and a solid 2013 up to that point. They could have easily switched to straight to AJ prior to BFG and then run him against Magnus or whoever in the main event. Not that THAT turned out very well either when it went down later. That Sabin win actually marked the beginning of a really messy time for TNA and for the title that I don't think they fully corrected until Lashley got the belt, and even that was a mess at first.

Most Shocking Title Changes
Not sure if others will share (or care about) this one, but Chris Sabin winning the TNA belt in 2013 felt random as hell. It seemed like TNA has finally pulled something good out of Aces & 8s with Bully's run, and then out of nowhere they derailed it for Sabin, of all people.

What If.... The Slam Heard Around The World
Some off the wall options. Face turn for Andre? They could have babyfaced him in a snap by having him knock Heenan on his ass. I know he was pretty beat up then but it's theoretically possible to work around that. Could they have possibly thrown enough money at Piper not to leave? He was enormously over as a babyface at the time, though he seemed pretty keen to try his hand in Hollywood. Orndorff is an option which probably would not have worked but I could have maybe seen them attempt. He was very over as a face the year before as Hogan's best man, so to speak. Though that is a very quick turnaround for him. I feel obligated to mention JYD, though I feel like that ship had definitively sailed by '87. Anyone they could have brought in from the outside?

[1997-06-16-WCW-Nitro] Interview: Madusa
Is there some kind of story behind the way Okerlund went after her after the Slamboree match? He seemed like he was being really awful to her, to the point where the crowd actually chanted "leave her alone".
