World Cast: A WCCW Review
Could this cryptic comparison be elaborated upon?

Wrestling with a Generation Gap 18 - Vancouver & Cena vs. Punk MITB 2011
Despite being a big wrestling fan as a kid in Vancouver from 84 onwards, I never went to a local show from 84 through 89. By all accounts I did not miss much.

NXT Takeover: WarGames
Wait, what? Why am I not getting paid for this? Edit: I mean, Why arent we getting paid for this? Kelly should pay himself for a Titans shirt?

NXT Takeover: WarGames
Had a great time watching this alongside someone who happened to be wearing a Titans of Wrestling t-shirt.

Best Year by a Wrestler
Having watched just about all of the All-Japan archive in the past few months, and other Tsuruta matches where I have found them elsewhere, I can vouch for the quality of Jumbo's matches in the 70s, including '76. It's not absurd to nominate that year; nor do I think many people would overlook Jumbo's '91. If you can nominate two years from a wrestler that are 15 years apart, I would advance the proposition that Tsuruta's standing in the recent GWE falls a bit short of what it should have been.

Wrestlers or Acts You Hated But Turned The Corner On
Greg Valentine. Ignored him as a young fan, didn't think much of him at all, have been re-watching as much of his stuff as I can in the last couple of years and find him to be an all-time, HOF level worker upon closer inspection.

Christian
I am definitely looking forward to another E&C episode with Dustin as a featured guest. It's clear from this last week's episode that there is a lot of mutual respect. If I were to come up with a GWE list Christian and Goldust would definitely do very well.

WON HOF 2017
Bonus points for good taste in books; the Flashman novels are brilliant.

How have your tastes in wrestling changed?
I'll just echo some others and state that my tastes have both broadened and narrowed. I'm appreciating more styles and time periods; and some of what I liked before I like even more as I watch more of the build-up to certain feuds. I still haven't been really able to get into lucha (although some of what I've seen from 2000 I've liked), joshi or WoS though, so those are some viewing projects for me going forward.

WELCOME TO RAW IS...Oh, sorry habit, TALK IS JERRRIIICHO!
I concur. It blows my mind how the Destroyer still seems to be all there, if you know what I mean.

Who is the greatest booker ever?
This is a run-off between Vince and Baba.

Greetings From Allentown podcast
Just listened to this episode, it was a great one.

Bobby Heenan RIP
The transcript of Heenan's HOF speech is tremendous. I know video of it is readily available too, but that'll have to wait until after work.

Bobby Heenan RIP
This is one of the most tone-deaf things I've seen here, in the most inopportune moment. Know when to pick your battles.
-
Bobby Heenan RIP
I can count on one hand the number of people who have brought me as much joy from my wrestling fandom as Bobby Heenan. Sad news indeed.

Edge and Christian podcast
I've become a big fan of this. The genuine longstanding friendship of the hosts shines through and that makes for an easy listen.

World Cast: A WCCW Review
Ok given how I have already watched this episode of TV, I will have to give this a listen to see how Pete and Johnny react to the commentary. I already know what Kelly thinks.

[2000-02-27-AJPW-Excite Series] Mitsuharu Misawa vs Jun Akiyama
I knew I'd have to rate this a full 5* as I genuinely marked out for three of the great spots and couldn't find any flaws in the narrative structure once I re-watched it. As others have said, Misawa's selling in particular was sublime, Akiyama's offence was superb, and on and on it goes. I can't imagine this not being the MOTY, and by default it will eventually rank really high for me in a MOTD list.

Summerslam 2017, or How to get through a 6 hour show with a little help from your friends at PWO
I would probably be the high vote on the first women's match. I though Natalya was great with her heel mannerisms throughout the whole match, which I'd generously give 3 stars and arguably the best match of the whole PPV - until the main event.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION... A Podcast series discussing the nominations for the GWWE project

Ric Flair (sigh)
I'm sorry, you think ESPN is doing impartial work re: the NFL?
