The target of the spitting/N word combo incident is La Rosa Negra. Rebel/Tanea Brooks also tweeted that after the incident with Tessa, she got La Rosa booked with Marvelous. Is it safe to assume those incidents happened in STARDOM?

I wonder if this is related to Allysin Kay's tweet about Tessa.

So, now I guess we know why Tessa was such an early exit in the first Mae Young Classic, when most people thought she'd make it very far in the tournament. Maybe those rumors of her bad attitude weren't such rumors after all. However, I don't think this will impact (pun intended) management's decision to put the Impact World title on her tomorrow if they still want to do so.

If I compare to the Nightmare Collective, I see no reason to can The Dark Order because we actually now know their purpose and motivation. Right now, it's about finding out who is that "Exalted One" that Evil Uno has started mentioning. To me, they've turned the corner with that gimmick since they start airing the vignettes and everything while with the Nightmare Collective, it looks more like a Brandi Rhodes vanity project more than anything. It's been almost 2 months and we still don't know why and how this came about.

I agree with Bret vs Savage from Slamboree. Considering that Savage wrestled that one with a blown out knee, the result is still amazing for the limitations he had.

I think that some (most) of those talent signings come with the connections. Dr. Luther is a close friend of Chris Jericho from his early days in Japan. We know the story about Kenny and Riho. The Dark Order are back in the US thanks to the Young Bucks. And the list could go on and on. They struck gold with guys like Orange Cassidy and Luchasaurus among others but there has been some serious misses as well. This is something that must be addressed at all costs in 2020.

Possible but either way, at least, someone in NJPW tried something and it's great that it was Tanahashi who did, if that's the case.

I feel that maybe it's more an issue with The Young Bucks than it is for Cody. At least, by what I read, that's the feeling that I get. But also, New Japan has a large part of the blame to take in that approach. I mean, they're still not over how Okada, Tanahashi & Naito were used in TNA, despite the change of ownership since the Dixie regime ended. At the end of the day, New Japan needs to also do their part. And I feel like Tanahashi really did that by going along with Jericho's idea.

Of course, I discovered Mutoh as The Great Muta as a kid through the Funk vs Flair rivalry in 1989 but I have only seldom seen Genichiro Tenryu stuff (mostly from his appearances in WWF shows from 91 to 93) so I'm curious to hear about how much of an impact this rivalry has had on puro in general. What are THE Mutoh vs Tenryu matches and angles that are highly regarded and are a must-see for people like me always looking to widen their horizons about puroresu?

I honestly don't know if there'll ever be someone to take the Pacific Coast title from Terry Gordy.

That pop for Big Show in the main event though. The more my guesses at KO & Joe's mystery partner were eliminated because of appearing in previous segments, the more I was ready to be disappointed but it was a nice surprise to see Show again. That crowd in OKC was fun tonight.

Mid-Atlantic signs James J. Dillon as a manager and releases Sunny War Cloud

It actually amazes me that WWE thought Lacey would be a better suited heel. Given her past as a Marine, it baffles my mind they didn't capitalize on this, especially considering Vince's hard-on for military heroes.

I'm more impressed by that than those dismissing this as "Oh, but NXT was just an award show this week". Big props that they could hold their own against bowl season. Isn't this their 2nd best audience ever?

2 things I just noticed on the Roster page: 1- Pierre "Mad Dog" Lefebvre doesn't retire in 1986. He died from a car accident on December 24th, 1985. So, this should be switched. 2- Also, I'm fairly confident that WWF and I had already confirmed a deal that sent Lefebvre to my territory (Perhaps @Scarlet-Left can confirm if it was the case - I had so many roster moves going by the end of the year that I'm not 100% sure against whom. If that's not the case, DM me so we can fix this.)

There's certainly bound to be an angle coming off of this Legends of Memphis tribute. Either MJF will try to ruin this or Shawn Spears & Tully.
