Antonio Inoki vs Bob Backlund (WWF/Japan)
Now, this is really something I'd like to learn more about. I know that they've wrestled each other a couple of times but I'd really like to know if there are any must-see matches between them. Anyone knows about this?

Advice on Games
There are several mods already available for TEW 2020 from various time periods. I believe there is a mod out focused on 1985 so you might get your wish for your old school promotion. I remember playing a 1980 mod on TEW 2016 that was tons of fun as well. In terms of micromanaging, TEW gets the job done and the learning curve isn't that difficult.

NWA Powerrr
I haven't listened to that particular episode but that would be par on course with Bruce Prichard's dickery.

NWA Powerrr
I'm pretty certain Nick Aldis said something in multiple interviews that someone in Stamford is blocking him from ever signing with WWE (wanna bet it's Cena?) so I would've been shocked if he had ever signed there, although I'm convinced he has the tools to be a top star there. AEW would've made more sense but now that Corgan has shut down the rumors, it's only wishful thinking for the moment.

Demolition vs The Powers of Pain (WWF)
Ironically, both of these teams were once perceived as WWF's response to the Road Warriors (although I believe that Barbarian & Warlord teamed together with Jim Crockett Promotions prior to jumping to the WWF) but that didn't make them less intimidating. The highlight of this rivalry being their double turn at Survivor Series 1988, it certainly took a lot of people by surprise at that time. This is the topic to talk everything Demolition vs Powers of Pain!

Shoutout to Ortiz paying homage to Little John in Robin Hood: Men In Tights in the "orange juice bath".

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
As soon as he'll get the slightest hint he can get a crowd back in, Vince won't wait; he'll do everything to make sure this happens sooner rather than later.

The Cancellation of Jim Cornette
They probably went into the match with the idea of protecting Vader with a loss but the whole thing in hindsight just backfired on Vader and he never recovered.

The Hardy Boyz vs The Dudley Boyz (WWE/Impact)
At the height of the Attitude Era and when the tag team division was booming in WWF, the Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz were arguably the driving force behind it, along with Edge & Christian in the TLC matches that revolutionized the business through the years. As they also rekindled that rivalry more than 15 years later in Impact Wrestling, both teams proved at that time that they still could work magic together and hadn't lost a step. This is the thread to talk everything Hardys vs Dudleys!

WWE TV 07/13 - 07/19 Paul Verhoeven is now a visionary and really basic
I haven't watched a single second of RAW tonight and I feel zero guilt about it. That's how fed up I am with the current direction on RAW.

And KO seems to be the only one who realizes that and acts to make things better for his co-workers. Most of his co-workers don't deserve somebody like Kevin.

If Lana actually doesn't catch it, she needs to buy a lottery ticket.

Fit Finlay vs Tony St. Clair (Catch Wrestling Association)
Now, this is a rivalry that I've heard about but actually know nothing about. As I haven't seen any of Tony St. Clair's work, I'm more than curious to learn more about this rivalry as well as pre-WCW Finlay and St. Clair himself!

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
What would they honestly do with Velvet? She can't wrestle anymore and I don't see who on that roster they could pair her with.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night two
I mean, is it any different than what WWF was in the day when literally each heel had a manager (Heenan, Fuji, Slick, Jimmy Hart)?

[2018-07-22-Dragon Gate-Kobe Pro Wrestling Festival] Ben-K & Big R Shimizu vs BxB Hulk & YAMATO
Just watched this match this afternoon and for some reason, I kinda had a SANADA/EVIL vibe in the way Big Ben was working together. In fact, I was pretty impressed with Big R Shimizu as it was the first match I've ever seen of him. But I'll echo the general feeling of this being a fantastic tag match.

AEW Fyter Fest 2020 - Night two
I would bet it's gonna be Vickie Guerrero.

Mitsuharu Misawa vs Kenta Kobashi (AJPW/NOAH)
Need I say more? One of the most epic rivalries in puroresu that arguably gave us the greatest wrestling match ever (and that isn't a tag line here, folks.) This is the topic to talk everything Misawa vs Kobashi!

Also, from my neck of the woods, you've got North Shore Pro Wrestling from Quebec City (roughly 15 or 17 events uploaded so far) and almost the entire International Wrestling Syndicate from Montreal catalogue that is up so for those looking to discover the early days of Kevin Steen & El Generico, you'll be in luck!

Chris Hero vs Bryan Danielson (Indies)
Two of the most heralded names that have come across the pro wrestling scene in the 2000's. Also, 2 names synonymous with the boom that indy wrestling has witnessed throughout that same period, before both eventually joined WWE (with one having much more success than the other.) This is the thread to highlight the rivalry between Chris Hero and Bryan Danielson through the years!
