WWE TV 4/4/17 Post-Mania Week
God damn how did I not think about how great Strowman vs AJ would be?

WrestleMania Weekend!!
I didn't say it wasn't entertaining, but it was a terrible show only to be enjoyed in an ironic, so bad it's good way. To pretend it was actually a good show with good wrestling and booking is absurd.

WrestleMania Weekend!!
I can't imagine watching that show without Excalibur's commentary.

WrestleMania Weekend!!
The fuck are you talking about? That show was literally a joke from the start. How the hell is 60 year old Dan Severn suplexing Riddle 3-4 times and then tapping out a 4 star match for you? JJ Spring Break was basically a C level action movie in wrestling form. Like American Ninja or Rage of Honor. But wrestling. Terrible movies that are fun to watch because they're terrible. Like that, but in wrestling form.

https://legitshook.squarespace.com/strobogos-wrasslin-potpourri-reviews/2017/3/30/joey-janelas-spring-break I don't know why but I watched Joey Janela's Spring Break. One of the most hilariously terrible and absurd shows I've ever seen. Fuckery off the charts. Excalibur has some of the greatest calls I've ever heard on a wrestling show, and his constant bitching about FloSlam's production team bugging him never stopped being hilarious. This is a show that has a Marty Jannetty match with 6 ref bumps, Earl Hebner, Virgil in a lucha mask, and a Canadian Destroyer. A show with Glacier, Dink, and the Invisible Man in a battle royal. A show with many, many DOORS being broken, because doors were cheaper to buy than tables. A show with nearly 60 year old Dan Severn main eventing with fellow MMA fighter Matt Riddle doing a shoot style match at 3 AM. It's something else. A show no doubt the fever dream of someone on acid watching Thunder in 1998.

What's Dean Thesz doing in the Impact Zone?

WWE TV 4/4/17 Post-Mania Week
You mean doing what he's been doing for the past year but on SD instead of NXT? I give him 4 months before he's not even on SD for weeks at a time.

Well, when he beats Aiden English on Main Event in a few weeks, you'll get that big moment.

WWE TV 4/4/17 Post-Mania Week
Getting that one big win in the opener at Takeover. The world really missed out on that special moment. It's not like this dude was getting a Bayley/Sami storyline. His entire role was to be a likable jobber to the indie/TNA/Japan stars.

WWE TV 4/4/17 Post-Mania Week
Tye being on SD means the feud with Sanity can finally die, so I'm happy about that Shane seems like such an awkward dude on Talking Smack

Ring of Honor Wrestling
I guess, but how many people that aren't fairly hardcore search for "wrestling" on their cable boxes? I just kind of have a hard time wrapping my head around "casual" fans (whatever that means in 2017) watching ROH or even TNA. How do you even find out about ROH unless you're a hardcore?

Ring of Honor Wrestling
I can't imagine non-hardcores are staying up until 2-3 AM during the middle of the week to watch wrestling, though. My area has it on both Comet and a local MYTV affiliate. One is on Wednesday at 2AM, the other on Saturday at 12 or 1 AM. Who other than hardcores or drunks are watching that?

WWE TV 4/4/17 Post-Mania Week
Outside of the amazing Roman segment to start the show, I thought it was the worst post-WM in years and gave up by the time the women's match came and EMMA was one of the big surprises of the show. Went to bed, read the rest of the results and it went exactly as I imagined.

Wrestlemania
This loses a lot of its impact when they did the same thing for HBK and everyone knows Taker should have hung it up years ago instead of doing this big thing after embarrassing himself in front of 75K people.
-
Wrestlemania
Yeah, that match was def bad because of ROMAN.
-
Wrestlemania
This is both awful and sad. Taker fucked up all of his main spots.

Wrestlemania
Goldberg/Brock was better in the first 2 minutes then the prior 40 minutes of action.

Wrestlemania
This might be as boring as HHH/Seth. Show officially peaked with The Club's title reign getting DELETED.
-
Wrestlemania
You mean the ladder match, right?

Wrestlemania
If there was an upside to this match, it's that people should drop the "Steph never gets her comeuppance" shit for a while. But that's the only upside, because this match fucking sucked.

Wrestlemania
Seth went from can't walk to diving off the post to the floor to can't walk to an extremely high frog splash to can't walk to the superplex falcon arrow combo to a phoenix splash attempt. This dude is so trash.

Wrestlemania
This match is dull as shit. What a shocker. Seth "HISSSSSSS" "Freakin" Rollins is a terrible face, and HHH is about as slow as Jericho these days.
