WWE TV 07/04 - 07/10 Fourth of JuLIV
Six man tag was great, and while WWE sometimes can't help themselves with dumb gross-out humor, at least it made sense and didn't influence the match. Now gimme GUNTHER slapping Truth Sam

Corey might be the worst color commentator ever

In an industry, specially in this company, where real emotion is increasingly more rare, seeing Liv literally jumping with joy in the middle of the ring makes me so fucking happy. Just love her and Bianca so fucking much.

Excellent video package for the Women's MitB and cash-in.

LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

WWE TV 06/27 - 07/03 Manchester United got the Forbidden Transfer Window
It's a gimmick that will work. Max DuPRI can talk very well, Pat McAfee is a natural at putting things over, and both Mansoor and Mace are looking positively ridiculous in this gimmick. Both are decent workers and they desperatedly need new tag teams.

Fucking lol You're right, but it was more in jest. Ian Rotten's fucked up legacy lives on I've seen clips of Abdullah working his ass off and being really fucking athletic in the 70s. As much shit as they get, both really knew how to draw money and be stars without killing themselves or their opponents.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
After sadly watching two fuckers stabbing each other's arms with broken lighttubes - as in, a stabbing duel - with full fucking force, clicking away before the obvious outcome, aka a huge, massive no-no, I am this close to thinking deathmatch wrestling might be the dumbest fucking thing ever and I think less of BJW, Onita and FMW for going batshit crazy with their ideas.

Workers who never had their best match
I mean, I *am* a huge Roman Reigns mark. The moment you mentioned him, I thought "yeah that makes sense".
-
Workers who never had their best match
I see it, but only because his ceiling is really fucking high. Most of his incredible 2014-2017 run saw him have bangers with just about everyone, but his presentation outside of matches was such that it sometimes hampered the big fight feel , which one can say is the opposite of what happens now - the big fight feel is there, and the match quality while still being great, are not AS great due to Roman and his opponent already having the crowd where they wanted.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Still cannot believe Triple H had her come to NXT, beat Rhea for the belt, and then not get pinned for it. Just the most shameless, blatant instance of "Charlotte must pose!" I've seen.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Speaking of signings, Io Shirai's contract is expiring soon. Unless WWE is purposefully making her lay low for a while, she is gone. Imagine losing Sasha, Io, and maybe Naomi in a matter of months. Quite the fucking hit.

Workers who never had their best match
Scott Steiner feels like an appropriate answer, too. Has great tag team stuff, but once he has his singles career, Big Poppa Pump kicks in rather soon and while the character is amazing, he just becomes too much of a bloated mess. Another example would be Jason Jordan. Excellent tag wrestler, was basically pushed to the main event scene and was figuring things out pretty quickly. Then he has a career ending injury. Still makes me so fucking sad.

All Elite Wrestling
If you are Tony Khan, do you start throwing money at Io Shirai's direction right now?

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
But here's the thing, I don't think any of the celebrities are going to headline any shows anytime soon. In fact they had more non-wrestling related names headline Wrestlemanias in the 80s and 90s than they do now. The difference is that instead of using one of the biggest boxers of all time or an actor to a popular show, they are using a streamer or a former NFL player-turned podcaster. Their business model has remained the same. Nick Khan may not have passion for professional wrestling, but he knows there are limits to celebrity participation.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I dunno, while Logan Paul was quite dickhead, he seems more levelheaded now, at least to my knowledge His brother, on the other hand... Either way, he will probably wrestle like 5 matches per year. Sweet deal for events like Summerslam, WM and the such. WWE has mostly been getting those "outsiders" right, to be honest. McAfee, Knoxville, Logan Paul, all of them add something positive.

AEW TV - 6/29 and 7/1 - Blood & Innards Is A Better Name
From what I was able to sort out reading his lips, he said he was okay even if his back was in shambles.
-
AEW TV - 6/29 and 7/1 - Blood & Innards Is A Better Name
Blood and Guts was... okay, I guess. Jericho going to the top of the cell basically killed the match for me, and it was going great, even managing to circumvent Santana's injury.

AEW TV - 6/29 and 7/1 - Blood & Innards Is A Better Name
Fucking LOL at Claudio taking Kingston's victory away from him. Great storytelling, but if this is the blowout, fucking Jericho didn't get his comeuppance.

AEW TV - 6/29 and 7/1 - Blood & Innards Is A Better Name
Yup, he came in and almost immeditaly fucked up his knee.

The other wrestlers got their controllers disconnected, it seems.
