Hall of Fame 2024
It was a weird appearance, though. CM Punk was backstage talking about Seth and Drew, and Lee just entered the screen behind him. If the camera panned to him in the crowd, I'd think WWE would be super fucking petty, but at this specific context it seems that Keith Lee was just going into business for himself.

WWE TV 4/1-4/7 Biggest week o the year
What intrigues me is that he talked about making that choice "early in their career". I don't really think that would apply to Ospreay even if Hunter is talking about him. He's been doing this for over a decade now - and shit, his style basically guarantees he won't be reaching his late 40s in tiptop shape much like Omega before him. No shit he's choosing more money and a lighter schedule.

WrestleMania 40
I immediately associated the colors with the Eagles. The shade of green used if very distinct, and considering how wildly popular AmFoot is and how WWE likes to hand out their custom-made WWE Titles to players in order to strenghten their brand recognition game, it make sense. It's the one sport I can see them doing that, too. While Wrestlemania's spectacle came before SuperBowl really amped up their halftime shows and merchandise, the NFL's product is now by far the most rentable event in the world. It's insane how much money revolves around it - and WWE would love to get even half of that revenue.

It's funny to think how Cody tearing his pec affected his push. If he stayed injury free since WM38, would he get the belt at WM39, or would there be a chance he doesn't see the same overness? Because holy shit, every time there is a setback - pec tear, heartbreaking loss against Roman - he comes back more and more over. It's astounding.

My dream booking would see both Jey and Seth (and Sami too) all fucked up from prior action, so it's up to Cena and Austin to save the day on Sunday.

WWE announces "WWE Speed"
This is meant to appease the Xwitter accounts who focus on compiling matches into the 2:20 length. Plus is represents people who can't go longer than 3 minutes.

All Elite Wrestling
Per PWInsider, more cuts are coming. The issue here is timing. Like, we all know that the roster is super bloated as it is and that the professional wrestling business is rough, but then CM Punk does an interview which got people talking and affected public perception, and there were reports that he might give MATT HARDY a new contract, and then there were future endeavors. People are also digging some older TK quotes about how "he's not going to take it out on employees even when punched in the face by circumstances", and well... he can't have it both ways.

The Rock lost a promo battle to Jinder Mahal and now he's in the run of his career.

SmackDown was some excellent stuff. Essentially everything has been built well and has interest from the fans. They devoted almost all of their segments to the feuds and programa down the card and it paid off.

Tony seems to be a bit hindered by the gimmick in this regard. He's charismatic and very stereotypical, but at the same time he's a big dude with nasty suplexes and a legit wrestling background.

They did mention and allude to Rock being higher in the pecking order and played into his insecurity on certain segments, but the focus right now is on Cody getting the belt. Like, Roman specifically asked The Rock to acknowledge him and not only it was framed as "oooh there may be dissension in the ranks" but it also reeked of Reigns being fearful for his spot. Somehow they worked their way into another six months of stories to tell.

Either they lean into the "Rock is upstaging the champ" angle post-WM or Roman steps up his game. So far it's the only complaint I have.

I mean, I get it. It's Okada. If he's challenging for the belt, you don't wanna have him lose then and there.
