Not only a dead dad hater but a widow chaser. It's absurd.

Meltzer and Alvarez are *washed*. They discussed that as if it were legit, just like us - but they are the ones supposed to have the goddamn scoops!

Wardlow's promo was a mixed bag. Him running down current and past champs who he's already beat was good, but shit, you REFUSED a chance for the top belt! That shit made him look like suuuuuuuuuuuuch a dweeb.

To me the issue is that they are doing all of this again in 2024. Gargano went through that whole arc with Ciampa four years ago. It's a long, long time to be reverting that to plucky babyfaces (and don't get me wrong, Ciampa looking like that and doing those stupid skips down the ramp is ridiculous). Like, even with Pete Dunne they had a whole thing with him becoming Butch and being associated with different folks, only to then revert back to the Bruiserweight and work with Tyler Bate. Also worth noting that not only Triple H insists on having DIY around, but the whole The Way stable is also still a thing, but without all the charm or anything to make it work. Gargano always comes across as snide, Candice is a bit boring, Indi hasn't been doing a single thing in forever, and the ones who essentially made that whole thing work are either absent (Lumis) or doing better things after finally finding their stride (Theory).

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
Scott D'Amore not only brought back TNA, but also LOLTNA as well.

Well, the issue here isn't just that they are extending his contract, but more that they are doing so after firing the head booker who was massively over with your main eventers (and honestly, most of your roster) just because he wanted more control. It looks even worse.

Lula the GOAT Also, getting Jey vs Gunther should be a good palate cleanser after an awful NBA All-Star Break.

WWE TV - 2/12 - 2/15 - Shanahan Not The Wiseman We Thought He Was
If the idea is Rock costing Roman the match at Wrestlemania and then they work from there culminating at WMXLI, then I might need to retract a lot of stuff I said about Dwayne.

WWE with a gorgeous belt for the folks at NBA.

It's ironic because as much as he was so fucking smug, fans who've met him live said he's pretty chill. He was just being the heel people think MJF is. I'd be down with a Big Bill/Colossal Corbin tag team.

I feel vindicated. Corbin has always been awesome. Maybe he was too good as a heel that people couldn't appreciate his in-ring work.

Even sticking to kayfabe, the cheek of that man. He sold his Shield brothers to the Authority and was their champ for eight fucking months!

Truth be told those custom-made WWE belts they give to sports teams were a great idea. That fucking punt, man...

WrestleMania Main Event Spoiler
I guess - heavy emphasis on guess - the sheer spectacle of such a big match would make the crowd go insane for it and enhance the overall match. Like, no one would expect Hogan, age 48, to have THAT match against The Rock at WM18, and it was not only good action, but they fed on the energy of the crowd without doing too much.

Orton being mobile and smooth like this despite adding 30lbs of pure roided muscle is impressive.

Somehow, they got Cody MORE over.

WrestleMania Main Event Spoiler
Despite me liking, even loving the Kickoff Show, the hardest part is justifying Cody handing the spot to Rock. Rhodes did mention he's had many multiple wonderful and beautiful talks with The Rock beforehand, so there is an implication of Rock using his soft skills (charisma, affability) and hard skills (board position) to get that main event match to himself. However, since not only Dwayne used that influence to speak ill of the Codemaniacs, but also turned, in kayfabe, the main event of Wrestlemania and the world title match into essentially The Bloodline Special, Cody felt betrayed, the mask fell off, Rock showed his true colors and intent. He wasn't using his position to end Roman's reign of terror over the company, but wanted to take part in it. It takes some goodwill, but it's what I took away from all that, in terms of write-arounds and all that.

AEW TV (02/07 - 02/10) Here she come now saying Mone Mone
Big Bill is cool. And is a cool name. Maybe generic, but not bad. And besides, "(Six) Million Dollar Man" and "Steve Austin" were popular in the 70s before Ted Dibiase and Stone Cold became stars. NXT even had their own Aaliyah.

WWE TV - 2/5-2/9 - #WeWantCody #FinishTheStory #RockySucks #VinceBelongsInPrison
Him trying to come up with the "I can move circles around you" retort just to be immediatly cut off by Roman talking about someone who mattered sums up that guy. GEEK.

WWE TV - 2/5-2/9 - #WeWantCody #FinishTheStory #RockySucks #VinceBelongsInPrison
Let's see how this plays out. With Roman apparently playing second fiddle and Seth being bitched out again, they have many possible routes to take. Let's say Rock was serious with him playing a longer storyline with Reigns - does it have to involve the belt? Does Rock cost Roman that title? Is it about drive? Is it about power? They stay hungry, they devour. Likewise, is Seth/Rock a possibility? Will CM Punk talking massive amounts of shit going to pay-off?
