AEW Dynamite 1st TBS episode - January 5, 2022
One thing that came to mind was that he dropped a South Park reference, calling 2.0 "Terrence and Phillip". Considering how that show was massively popular and how little the crowd reacted to the reference, is it safe to say that Jericho is pandering to the wrong demo?

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Joe nearly DIED in his match against Karrie Kross, if he ever goes to AEW he better be working a an announcer or as a manager.

AEW Dynamite 1st TBS episode - January 5, 2022
I am amazed. Maybe the most fitting ring name I've seen in a while. Dude turning his arm into noodles and taking "a couple of weeks" to return is absurd. While I pretty much agree with the rest of your post, I'm not so sure about this. 2.0 got NOTHING in that last segment, mostly because it was so Jericho-centric. I like their 80s cokehead promos, but Y2J was really bringing the whole segment down with the whole "pinhead" and "squarehead" stuff.

Wrestle Kingdom 16
Remember when Low Ki dressed up as Agent 47 without clearing it with the people backstage in what ended up being his last NJPW match? Fun times. Of course Shibata ain't going the same path but it's always fun to reminisce about wrestlers going into business for themselves.

AEW Dynamite 1st TBS episode - January 5, 2022
Bubba, the thing here is that the whole exchange between Punk and MJF doesn't really "endorse" the company or WM. MJF, kayfabe-wise, thinks he's above Punk and AEW as a whole. He's doing them a favor by being there, and he doesn't seem properly valued. Him going to WWE and main-eventing Mania (lololol) would be a middle finger to AEW and to Punk, who never was able to do that. It fits with his whole schtick of "being better than you". When Punk retorts, it just exposes MJF kinda being a fraud. Main eventing night four and then quickly being released means he ain't shit, not to his eyes, nor to the eyes of the company he wants to go just to spite AEW. It works.

I'm not against it if it was the planned decision, to be honest. Luchasaurus is certainly not very sharp but I like the JE and Jungle Boy rocks.

I dunno, man. Seemed very awkward It feels like Jurassic Express winning was a last second decision after Fenix broke his arm, based an the people standing on the ramp and the awkward came shots.

His "feud" with MJF was the nail in the coffin. He looked like he didn't belong.

Issue isn't even how Ruby was treated in WWE, but how her AEW stint is going so far. I like her a lot, but she hasn't had a match that delivered to her capabilities. Feels like she's going through the motions.
