This was much, much better than their previous encounter, which I liked. Roman as a shit talking heel and just loving playing to the crowd is some special shit. The first part of the match was just both of them doing their best to wake up and work the crowd without going crazy with the spots. The second part, which does have the big bombs, do a great fucking job in not overdoing with the nearfalls. That Super AA was the best one ever because you absolutely think they were going to finish the match then and there. Great stuff with two big main eventers.

That's fucking awesome, man. If y'all having fun, then mission accomplished. Besides some things - which led me to calling the event cursed, even - it was actually a pretty dope show. The bad things were still pretty bad, but when you have Lynch and Brock returning and an excellent main event, you end things on a high note.

Back then they were still weird about actually giving Roman a decisive win. WM34 was just bleak, Greatest Royal Rumble had a fuck finish, and Summerslam 2018, while being nice, still had Braun Strowman interference. If they decide to have a no-bullshit match, it's gonna be great.
