WWE shows in general are fine, but man AEW is a pain in the ass to find "legally". Still, gonna watch it later. It's the one thing I was looking forward to.

It was reported that Bianca vs Banks might not happen, and it's mostly due to Sasha related issues. Wonder if her being an anti-mask weirdo had anything to do with it.

Don't think it would make sense for them to debut both Punk and DB on the same episode. Specially when they haven't really hyped anything.

hope it's just one cinematic segment following punk's pov all the way to the ring

Is there even the slightest chance he won't appear tonight? I hope they don't just show him, instead giving us a fake out.

I mean, is saying "you don't move the needle as much as the #2 of the business biggest boom period" even a slight at all? Besides, the question as framed by Ariel was related to part timers and specifically addressed Punk. Not a "shot" outta nowhere. And hey, people have been stoked for Punk's return for quite a while even before that. No need for promotion if they already have a full house regardless. Phil could no show and they'd still have the venue sold-out.

On the other hand, Cody cut a promo on him for no reason at all. It's not like he's ignored either. But it's like bubba @MoSsaid on his post above. It makes all the sense and was really blown out of proportion. On that note, who said that the original plans for the Shield included Chris Hero, only for him to get replaced by Reigns?

Like The Rock, I don't think so. But truth be told, some of Punk's programs were just fucking unbelievable. Really out of the box, amazing stuff. MitB 2011 is still one of my all time favorite matches and it's in great part because of Punk. However at the same time he did say stuff that ended up lighting a fire under the asses of a very vocal crowd who were very anti-Roman, so... There's some history there. Even then, the actual comparisons Reigns made were very soft. Yeah, not moving the needle like The Rock, big fucking deal.

People on the internet are acting weird because Roman said Punk isn't a needle mover like The Rock or isn't as over as Cena. The context is much wider tho, it's a full interview with Ariel Helwani. Talk your shit, Big Dog.

They are just an all-star pairing, tbh. WALTER is a menacing stiff dude who puts people to sleep and suplexes them to death. Also can win a match with a CHOP. You get this behemoth going up against one of the greatest babyfaces of his generation, and it's bound to have an eye-catching presentation. It's foolproof.

Also, SD did in fact suffer from being pre-empted by NFL games. It still averaged over 2 million, but it didn't do them great 2.5 million numbers. Still, clearly the A show.
