100% agree. And I mean, taking big dumb bumps IS a way to get over, as we see with Darby Allin and Shotzi Blackheart. However, Jericho is over 50 and can't afford to bump like that. And since you brought Matt up, that also makes me wonder if the bump was even necessary.

I don't even think the issue is that it was safe, but it *looked* shitty. They are not a low-budget fed, they can afford to have better production values while making it safe for their performers. Furthermore, talent and announcers having to, once again, sell the moment like ABSOLUTE DEATH OMG JERICHO IS GOING TO BE PARAPLEGIC just makes things worse.

I mean, she did get people heated with a simple gif, so AEW might as well improve on their big bumps and prevent that from becoming a regular thing. One does not want to become known for unintentionally funny spots.

They are risking themselves with those poorly planned big spots, specially because they end up hogging the spotlight whether the match is good or not. I mean, Shotzi was already poking fun at that shitty bump. It's the climax to a big match, make sure it's perfect.

I think he'd be more than happy to have a job as a booker in WWE AND have the freedom to wrestle for free anywhere he wanted, and I don't think that's a farfetched idea for him in 2021.

I never really understood the hate she got. I mean, she was wrestling for NXT, the then developmental brand, and wrestled like someone in her position - a rookie. When she arrived at SmackDown she was really good at being a heat magnet. She didn't even wrestle!

It seems WWE is on the verge of having another huge mainstream scandal on their hands. Like bubba @fakeplastictrees said, way too much shady stuff going on at the same time at the same place. It's like a loose thread waiting to be pulled.
