While I do agree that other companies won't just roll over and die, I'm not sure the Fed will ever have huge problems signing people, no. I mean, they are known for their shady practices for how many years now? And yet they are still capable of hoarding talent.

Matches enhanced by their endings
Something much more simple and brutal. Kobashi slammed Hansen to set up for the moonsault. Hansen just stands up and grabs Kobashi on the top rope. After exchanging blows, Hansen lariats (more like straight up punches) Kobashi in the face.

Matches enhanced by their endings
There's more of a snap to the RKO than there was to the Diamond Cutter. Also, to add to the main purpose of the thread, I'd say that Kobashi/Hansen, July 29th, 1993, has a great, different finish. Hansen just stands up and smacks the shit out of Kobashi. I don't think I've seen many things like that afterward. Another one that comes to mind is SmackDown's Elimination Chamber at No Way Out 2008. That powerslam reversal into the tombstone is just *chef's kiss*

Matches enhanced by their endings
I'm all ears, bubba. Or eyes. I mean I'm not trying to turn this into objective truth or anything, but I'd be down to have the "best finisher ever" as a topic of discussion somewhere down the line.

Matches enhanced by their endings
In terms of versatility and applicability? Absolutely. It's an upgrade to the Diamond Cutter, which already was an amazing finisher.

Matches enhanced by their endings
Yup. Randy Orton coasts on having probably the best finisher of all time AND the best timing to implement insane counters. Decent matches get elevated by virtue of an insane RKO out of nowhere. Edge/Daniel Bryan/Roman Reigns was a great match but Roman stacking both opponents and making sure that all of their shoulders were on the mat before pinning them took it a step above. Shit was glorious.

KUSHIDA just beat Escobar and of course I am already booking Santos to be on the main roster having a dope feud with Roman.

[2021-04-11-WWE-WrestleMania 37] Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn
I think those two being able to have a match like this in their sleep kinda worked against it. I liked it, of course, but it just felt too "safe". But then again, no need to win the crowd over with crazier shit when you already have them fawning over you. Logan Paul is a douchebag, so of course the post-match segment had some great reactions and payoff.

It is. They *almost* had an OK-ish payoff to Mandy slipping and falling on her ass at WM, with karma biting Nia in the hole, but instead they had the BABYFACE TAG BACK AWAY FROM THE HEEL AND ACCEPT THE COUNTOUT LOSS I am livid. It's so, so bad. The match wasn't even bad either, Rose had the fire and Dana is an effective FIP. Just a shame that they willingly fuck the tag division over. Horrendous.

The babyface team just accepted the countout loss, walking away from the heel. That's ultra fucking stupid.

So the story is that Alexa's too good for Bray Wyatt? Nice.

All hail the Big Dog. Stacked two jabronis and pinned all four shoulders on the mat.

WWE has become a heel-run promotion
Hmmm, I can see the argument, but we did get a lengthy Drew McIntyre run, a lenghty Io Shirai run, and a considerably long Kofi Kingston run, all as top champs. I guess they are trying more than usual to some resemblance of dominant faces, but indeed the overall picture shows a heel-heavy lineup of champs.

If the plan was to have Miracle Violence Connection retain, yes.

I think that's the one Wrestlemania where every single booking decision was correct. Honestly impressive.

[2021-04-11-WWE-WrestleMania 37] Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan vs Edge
Roman Reigns defends the WWE Universal Title in a triple threat match I love how they wasted NO TIME with the bombs and the interference. Made people stand on the edge of their seats from the get go. Actually, that's all irrelevant. Roman pinned both men at the same time. Shoulders down. Dreams got smashed. This is the Big Dog.

Wrestlemania 37
Man, the official times for night 2 are WILD. The main event went 22:41, and was the longest match, naturally. The 2nd longest? Women's tag, with 14:20.

Wrestlemania 37
Seeing wrestling with a large crowd was really uplifting for me. May they only return in one year.

Wrestlemania 37
Is it hard to overcome, though? I mean, the whole Drew McIntyre Experiment started with a Ricochet low blow that they just didn't mention or show at all.
