It's still Rollins. Corbin might get a lot of screentime and wins that make you scratch your head, but Rollins had two wins over Lesnar, had a win over the hottest act WWE had in Bray Wyatt (who's now back to being cold-ass Bray), and they managed to push his relationship with Becky, who is the biggest star in the company, down people's throats despite zero on-screen chemistry. Plus the ratings were pretty bad on RAW with Seth on top. Worse than when Constable King Baron Corbin was blamed for them.

Yeah. It sounds weird, but it actually served a purpose. Carrillo and Andrade furthered their feud, and Almas finally got some good heat. He doesn't need to challenge Rey for that. After Humberto got stretchered out and Mysterio chased Andrade, Seth, steel pipe in hand, appeared with the AOP, and the tag team beat down the champ. Seth made some remarks about leading by example and etc, and that Rey owed him one. Then curbstomped him. Afterwards, backstage, he challenged Rey for the title, and Rey later accepted. Some may question "but why the fuck even do a gauntlet match then?" and I answer by running away- WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
The main event was one of the most recent examples that Orton is an incredible wrestler, but he doesn't give a single fuck 95% of the time. They worked an engaging and entertaining match revolving around selling a leg, didn't need to resort to big moves to keep the crowd engaged, thus making actually impactful moves mean more. Plus the throwback to their previous encounter, which is ~learned psychology~- WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
That Becky promo was really fucking good.- WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!

Rollins as a mob boss is alright.- WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
I get creepy vibes from it. Being in a bathtube surrounded by candles and saying you should destroy yourself to be yourself is not exactly the best sultry type stuff.- WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
This segment is incredible.- WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
How fucking long are The Usos in the dog house for? Those Liv Morgan vignettes got me SHAKING- WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
How the fuck is Erik standing after that failed flip? Dude almost broke his neck- WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
Good opening package. This storyline is nice, truth be told.- WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
Please give Roman the win- WWE TV 12/09 - 18/09 Cruzeiro got relegated! Fuck them!
I looked into Allen. Dude did 43 reps at 225, which is amazing. Furthermore, he bench pressed for SEVEN HUNDRED POUNDS. Beastly. The current record in the NFL for reps at 225 is 49. Otis had another video in 2017 where he pressed 46. Insane.- WWE TLC - The Language Crashes (the board)
Yeah, the officials were completely clueless. Also, based on what people have gathered after rewatching the match, Becky was pretty much the one commanding things after a while and was extra careful with Kairi after she noticed what went down. Major props.- WWE TLC - The Language Crashes (the board)
Gifs only tell part of the story, but yeah. If one were to make a supercut of Charlotte beating the shit out of Kairi during the past few weeks, one would get that impression. The match itself was really fucking good and it ended the show on a high note, after a really meandering middle part. Now we are going to begin the build to Royal Rumble. Please treat Roman better.- WWE TLC - The Language Crashes (the board)
Kairi has been getting her ass handed by Charlotte the past few weeks. It's kinda hard to watch to see.- WWE TLC - The Language Crashes (the board)
Remember when Roman lost to Sheamus at TLC 2015 because the League of Nations interfered and Reigns had zero friends to back him up?- WWE TLC - The Language Crashes (the board)
For fuck's sake that match ended on a flat note. Also that backstage brawl is a weird segment. I mean, the idea is nice, but it's leading to promos for future WWE events so... kinda TV-esque. - WWE TV 12/16 - 12/22 the road to Royal Rumble begins!
