Kurt Angle vs Chris Jericho is a really tough one. Kurt was important for the crossover factor, but he also was a huge influence in the ring, as his matches with Lesnar and Benoit show. I won't say if it's a good or bad thing, but the influence is there. Meanwhile, Chris Jericho played an important role into AEW being considered as a legit big deal, and is their innaugural champ. He's certainly overshadowing Omega and I would say The Bucks, and is at least tied with Cody. Also his ability to reinvent himself many times and manage to leave a mark pretty much all of those times is impressive.

Just saw the AOP promo and more people should aim for that aesthetic. Also, the fact that they are my age scares me. Dudes are gigantic and are so good already.

Still a 9.5/10 tournament. Would be a 10/10 if Gable won, but you can't say they didn't push him hard. Thing is that the King character doesn't really fit a straight up babyface like Gable, and Corbin's shit talk is incredible. They have to set up Gable for something, though.

Real talk: the KOTR Finals feels like a big deal. Points for WWE for putting this amazing tournament together. If the final delivers, it's a home run.

Reaction-wise, it was good when he won, yes. I found him to be really stale even back then, and while he was positioned as the good guy in the Orton feud, people just turned their backs on Wyatt after the whole "posing in front of a burning shack" thing. Really wasn't a positive reign, specially when people were dying to have Harper actually win the title. The tag team title reign was really good, though.
