Well, no wonder. Luchasaurus is a big damn dude with insane agility and smooth strikes. Plus his gimmick is awesome. Very easy to like, right? Plus he seems to be a very polite, well-spoken dude. Jungle Boy could be a big deal too. Great look, agility, can have some of mainstream exposure due to his late father and his (small) role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Those two are my AEW favorites and I cannot wish enough good things to them.

Yeah. Although I don't really think Cody is an excellent worker in terms of technical prowess, but he's by far the one with the most emotional connection to the crowd & overall fanbase and has been able to show incredible intensity that more than makes up for his weak points. He came a long way from that average wrestler who was just having matches with top indie talent, but I really liked how he developed the carny mentality, too. A Jericho/Cody match could be just smoke and mirrors (I mean, it should be just that) with strong heel/face dynamics and it would make people really, really happy. It's the easy choice, and a good one. I saw some criticisms about Cody already being inserted into a title match, but there really weren't any other options. Mox pretty much HAS wrestle against Omega, Page is just... cold, and PAC wouldn't make for an engaging match IMO. Not a whole lot right now.

I actually agree, in terms of possible and credible challengers. Just wish they didn't just announce it, and actually set up him as the #1 contender. Without a TV show to guide us, it can kinda kill the suspense by just announcing it straight away.

Full Gear will have Jericho vs Cody for the AEW World Title. I mean, I can't say I'm surprised.

It's not that it's their fault, as Bea/Sadie have this real feud for a while now, but they should learn from what happened, because you don't want a locker room full of bad blood right when you are trying to establish your company. I get that over time your talent may not like each other, but right off the bat? That sucks hard. And while Jericho getting shitfaced and losing a belt is funny, maybe his drinking issues might be something AEW needs to look into. Can't even think about having a Jeff Hardy 2011 episode.

Having your main belt stolen and talent fighting backstage is Really Not Good However, in hindsight it's good that it was Jericho who lost it. Imagine if Kenny Omega were the one stolen from. Would be making a huge thread crying instead of a carnytastic video in a bathtub drinking some BUBBLEH
