And if we were to be honest it's not like the match was bad, and in fact the finishing stretch had some nice ideas, but Ziggler/Roode are Dollar Store DX and Heavy Machinery is great. Wrong team won (and beat four other teams!! what the fuck?)

Can't say this match has been meaningless or overlong. They were actually on board with the action until the Double DQ, and came back with Gran Metalik running wild, only for it to die down again. I hope you are wrong. Wait OH MY HEAVY MACHINERY IS WINNING

Bless Gran Metalik. This match had everything to turn into a disaster after that double DQ, but he got the crowd back in it. Give him SOMETHING to do. If anyone is misused in this company, it's him.

Another good match! Miz is great even with this (admittedly weak) face run. People just wanted to cheer for him, and that's okay - I know I did, and I am having a blast with it. He's not really hurt by those losses, and he can put heels over quite nicely, and no way this is lasting forever, so I'll just enjoy it. This match is symbolic. Miz was underrated as fuck for years, and now is finally getting the recognition he deserves. Corbin is similar. This match is the passing of the torch.

Yeah, pretty much. It's either that or Ricochet vs lolElias. Some people on Twitter were surprised that Drew lost, but no way they would do Joe/Drew, and that matchup allows Joe to not be gassed 5 minutes into the match, as Rico is going to bump around him.

It's a mixed bag. I actually enjoy it, and there are some hidden gems such as Test vs Brock, but the point was more how about this year's tournament's been really damn good.

As much as some consider the KOTR an inferior G1, so far this years tournament has been really damn good. At least 3 very good matches and 1 which at the very least was used to enhance a storyline.

Two things: First, if they actually manage to integrate 24/7 segments into FOX's programming, they are probably going to get some nice exposure out of it, and maaaaaybe wrestling as a whole can benefit from the rub. Second, this video for Chad Gable is fucking incredible. They must have something going for him, at least in the near future.

It's incredible how PAC managed to just burn all the goodwill he's had. From people saying "WWE is holding him hostage and doesn't use him!! He's so talented!!" to "Fuck, this guy is kinda boring now" in a matter of like months is fucking unbelievable to me.

Him and Dijak got really unlucky, as both were injured at the same damn time right when they were starting to get something to do. Those two, alongside Dream, Riddle and Bianca Belair should be the faces of the company. Not that Gargano and Cole shouldn't be featured - they clearly are over with the crowd, but I feel like the others could reach even higher flights with the proper time.
