It's not that Lacey Evans just wasn't good enough in the ring. She was actively bad and had not much presence - which Jade has in spades. I think she can improve with more ease there. You have prodigies like Tiffany and Roxy at the PC, and others who are doing pretty well and progressing in interesting ways like Thea Hail and Tatum Paxley. It seems like the environment is much, much better for someone with her skillset.

Nick Khan's rise to the top is nothing short of amazing, even if it is a corporate deviant reigning over the sleaziest of the circles of corporate hell. A speed run, if you will.

Speaking of hot, respectfully, Tiffany vs Becky did one of the best ratings in years. In fact NXT has been through a decent run and it all started with Dirty Dom. They finally went back to that 2012, 2013 model in which main roster guys would pop up frequently to kick ass. On the subject of ratings, RAW got super fucked over by that fantastic Jets vs Bills game. Aaron Rogers pulling a Shane O'Mac and turning into a trivia question on 9/11 AND the Jets managing to pull offfl the victory in overtime? Amazing drama. Theater. Cinema.

They kinda did that with Bron Breakker and Dolph Ziggler. I guess it's good to give your main NXT names some main roster reps, but they need to build up on that. Bron is doing absolutely nothing currently, should have been calles up the moment he lost to Melo.

Ultimate Warrior was literally voted as the Wrestling Observer's worst wrestler of 1988, despite being massively over. It's not like he wasn't without his detractors even with commercial success - Hogan was the same, without even taking into consideration their shitty real-life personas. While I think years will be much kinder to Mox's AEW run than Hellwig's entire damn career, I don't think it's out of line, as long as we keep the criticisms within the realm of professional wrestling and not dwelve into weird, freaky personal rants, to criticize someone's body of work. I think that just comes with the job.

I think the magic lies on which strikes you are working, and which ones you are just stiffing the other. Chops are fairly inocuous and G00NTA has great ones, loud and always leaving a mark. He tends to be a bit less rough (as in, not 100% shooting) on other strikes like his big boots, dropkicks and lariats (unless it's the finisher). Like, I don't see him being any more stiff than Finlay, yet he always feels like he's beating the shit out of his opponent way more. His match against Gable last night was just wonderful AJPW/NOAH shit. Kobashi would've been proud of the ridiculous bumps they took.
