Crowd was hot for it and while Baron sure as fuck isn't Vickie in terms of drawing heat, he did a good job at receiving a beating and the was some payoff to months of him not being good at his role. Ali and Murphy are two of the best in the current WWE roster, counting even NXT. If we want to stop seeing 205 as some sort of "prison cell", then there is no downside to one of your main guys of that division going up against one of your top champs. If he puts up a fight, then it's even better.

the thing with Dream is that his character is so... fascinating, that the possibilities with him are more vast than with basically anyone else on NXT. in some ways, he's similar to Goldust, who could pretty much be included into any role and do a great job - but Velveteen is younger and has a better look. with guys like Gargano or Ciampa, can you really do something with them on the main roster? they already told basically everything that could be told, turned both of them heels after making them feud with each other

You know what the main roster needs? Velveteen Dream. Can't let him around those DIY bozos for too long.

Ambrose is a horrible promo, and I'm not sure if it's the writing team's fault any longer. I fail to see how he doesn't have a single creative input when he's one of the top talent in RAW and his feud with Rollins is the biggest deal in that brand.
