AEW TV - 8/23 - 8/26 - Visa Issues Kept This From Being Made On Time
Splitting Swerve and AR Fox is a not a good choice.

RIP Terry Funk
What always impressed me about Terry is that, while we are mostly posting stuff from mid-90s in the USA, he was already so damn big to the point where Kinnikuman, a wildly popular Japanese comic book series, was modelling a central character around him in 1979. He's just one of a kind.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I hope Flair's wrong about this, but either way that sucks so bad. The actual GOAT.

WWE TV 08/21 - 08/27 OG Dragon Ball is peak action adventure stuff
I don't think Wyatt being able to go or not affects things, really. Roman started his reign after kicking that guy in the balls and never really dealing with him (or Strowman, if memory serves right) ever again. He politicked his way out of feud(s) with Bray, and we are all better because of it hehe

I argue the exact opposite. Let's compare his reign to Rollins'. Seth has been defending that title frequently yet not a single defense of his meant more than Roman defending his belt against Jey (or defending it against Seth himself, for that matter). Presentation matters. Roman is presented and carries himself like the biggest fucking deal in the company and Seth, despite his many pushes, never projected himself to that level. At this point, I don't think Seth is carrying himself as someone more important than Gunther.

Dragon Ball, the one with Kid Goku. Bubba that shit is great stuff. Having your workhorses do schtick AND wrestle is a good thing. It's like New Day with some of their spots.

Just a fun time, man.

WWE TV 08/14-08/20: Will Roman Reigns Kick Dolph Ziggler Out?
Just give LA Knight a title shot ffs. Triple H is fumbling the ball every single time. Fucking hack fraud. The one thing he's done right was this Alpha Academy face run and Street Profits being with Big Lasher. The rest stinks!

AEW TV (8/16 - 8/19)
I mean wasn't he the one who took some shots at that clown who tackled Bret Hart during his HOF speech? Silent but deadly type.

AEW TV (8/16 - 8/19)
Regardless of having a title belt with him, he keeps the strap.

Leatherface on appearing was not the worst part of that whole segment, if we are honest. Now, if we are using Monster Wrestlers again, just turn Wardlow into El Hijo del Jason the Terrible, please!

WWE TV 08/14-08/20: Will Roman Reigns Kick Dolph Ziggler Out?
Lacey actually had a decent feud with Becky. She was surrounded with way more talented wrestlers and the pairing with Corbin seemed to work nicely. Things never clicked, man. It's impressive, really.

I have a theory: this guy stinks! For real, though, he was given a win over John Cena at WM and looked WORSE ever since. Less confidence (and he wasn't really a stellar talker), and now both Grayson Waller and LA Knight are on the same brand as he is. It's difficult not to draw comparisons, man.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
"Who are you to doubt El Dandy?" is one of the first pro wrestling memes I came across back when I started using message boards to get my Perfectly Legal No Mercy game some mods. If all that niche internet notoriety translated into Dandy being able to sell more merch and signings and what not, it makes perfect sense he would be cool with that.

AJ got hurt for quite a while, tho. I guess now that Rey Mysterio is the US Champ, they can get actual fucking programs surrounding that title and give people like Styles more things to do. As for Bray, dude wrestled like one match, got hurt. Now he might be gone for good, depending on the severity of his illness. At least he got that money!

Very, very few wrestlers can pull off convincing headbutts. Fujiwara, Funk, sometimes Onita. The secret is in the leg swing.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Absolutely. Specially because a hundred bucks is nearly what I spend in a month in terms of food and groceries, taking the exchange rate into account.

LA Knight is that dude. Just give him a damn title run to prep him for the main event. Week in, week out, he's getting MEGASTAR reactions.

WWE TV 08/07 - 08/13 Laughing at the USWNT's failure
Nearly 11k people at SmackDown tonight to see Jey be humbled by the Tribal Chief. Acknowledge him.

Miz still got it, man. No other man can lose every single damn feud and still elevate others like he does. Yeah, I didn't remember who mentioned it, but you were right on the money, bubba. I hope Nakamura can taste gold here.

WWE TV 08/07 - 08/13 Laughing at the USWNT's failure
Nakamura and Rollins entering back to back just make it pretty transparent how the latter stole like 50% of his character from the former
