'18 Rusev is '17 Harper My God. Big E and Jimmy as a team. So fucking good. Also Langston's promo abilities have improved so much.

Trish Stratus Battle Royal wouldn't be that bad.

Well, it's not like the 5 minutes we had of Usos vs The Bar was insanely fun or anything.... Besides: The Bar vs Bludgeon Brothers. That match on paper is legit one of the top things they could do in terms of bomb throwing wars. But it's not like Braun/Elias (please let it happen) vs The Bar would be that much worse.

Another bomb-ass segment featuring Roman Reigns. This feud is miles and miles better than their first one, and a nice concept overall

So he's like Roman, then? But truth be told, I'd argue that English also elevated Rusev with this run. He's a very good hypeman, much like Lana was a top tier manager when they first came into the main roster.

His squashes were fucking awesome. The bordeline cartoonish yet gruesome violence that ensued were always entertaining. Even in his really early days where he was stuck with Bray, doing Yokosuka Cutters and an 80s-esque rest hold finisher, he felt like someone special.

I'm popping like Heenan at the '92 Rumble.

I don't think they came out of the match looking worse than they did coming in. The match was good, crowd was 100% into it as they love both guys, having duelling chants constantly throughout the match, and they weren't dissatisfied by the finish. It's a good enough reason to believe they aren't looking worse. The problem, to me, is that on a larger scale that match had no reason to be. Nakamura, since winning the Rumble, has done basically nothing. Rusev, one of the most over acts in the world, has been given NOTHING, too. The only reason that match even existed is that they got reminded that those two existed in the last minute. Nevertheless, it was a good match indeed and both are still over, so there's a silver lining.

I'm reading those posts as parody. Maybe the doctor is treating Braun like people on twitter/wreddit treat Roman Reigns?

It would help if they actually wrote that in a way that didn't hog the entire show....

WWE Fastlane 2018
Pacing was different. While I liked the EC better (this match has the whole KO/Sami/Shane angle that I really have no time for), it was indeed a slower paced match as it usually is the case for that type of match. However, the talent there was better. Can someone help me with the heel-face dynamics between Sami/KO/Shane? If Owens' version of a babyface is similar to Rollins' face run circa '16, I really don't want to see that and I think it would be even worse than his heel run.

I have no idea where they are going with this.

Fuck yeah give me Asuka punking out Charlotte. Also the prospect of Asuka vs Naomi gives me the good feelings.

I think Charlotte vs Ruby might've been the best match of the night.

Legit no reason to not feature the Usos as the best WWE tag team ever.

Good. Give me Orton vs Jinder again.

WWE Fastlane 2018
Gotta love how in this narrative, Orton is the old dog and Roode is the future of the brand. The former is 37 and the latter is 40.

Jinder's heel heat is real. God bless him. Also, Ziggler's voice might be the most annoying part of any WWE show
